Tears started to trickle from her eyes. The voices that she is hearing outside… she can recognize them… It’s not just Ethan… it’s everyone!
Caleb, hunter, Sophie, Lisa and…. and… mom? She held her mouth with her hands. Everyone… everyone was outside the room!
She could hear some chatters but she couldn’t understand anything. She remembers everyone…. and everything! What happened three years ago… what happen during her childhood days… everything! And all that had happen before and after her fall.
She suddenly touch her shoulder… the one that got shot by Liam… and all the things that she learnt, the truth about Silver being her biological father. More tears started to flow… she could not contain it.
She heard it.. She heard Sherry before Liam disconnected or unmuted the phone… Silver ra-ped her mom. And she and Stacy were the product of it!
And thinking that Silver had killed Ethan’s parents, how will she face him now? Is she even worth saving? Ah! Now the truth is even more painful than before! Why did she even gain her memories back? If only she coulld forget about it again…
She needs to get away… away from Ethan… away from everyone! Why will she stay with the man, well in fact, she is the daughter of a murderer! Will she bear to marry the man who suffered because of her father’s crime? Surely not!
Therefore, he removed the inse-rted needle in her hand and walk slowly towards the window. She can definitely escape by vigilantly treking down the wall! Just like before… she inhaled an amount of air then exhaled before starting her way down.
Just a little more… she sighed when she had almost reach the ground. Then she jumped off the wall. Then with a limping foot, she continued walking.
She’ll take a cab, go home, gather some of her things and Mira’s things then go away… far far away.
Once again, she wiped the tears from her eyes.
” Where do you think you’re going?” She heard a voice from behind.
She jolted in surprise. Ethan? Why is he here? How did he find out? She coudn’t speak a word.
”Are you trying to escape from everyone?” His tone was a bit off.
” E-eh? E-escape?” The woman slowly spun around and gave a fake smile. ” W-why should I escape? Where to?”
But the man was just looking at her intently, as if accusing her.
” I was just trying to get some air…?” she leered.
” Is that already your best lie?” He sternly spoke. ” Can’t you think of a more reasonable lie?”
”E-ethan…” she quivered. ”What are you saying?” she was trying to hide her trembling.
” Aisha,I know you remember everything already. So stop hiding, stop fooling around!”
” Ethan…” she staggered backwards. He knew..
” After climbing down that wall, did you expect me to believe your acting?” The man spoke icily.
Dang! He saw her? Why so careless Aisha?! She scolded herself silently.
” Why are you doing this? Why are you planning to leave me? Leave everyone?!” Now the man is upset more than ever.
”You don’t understand—-”
” then make me understand! Tell me the truth so I would understand!” He interjected.
” because I can’t stay with you!” She yelped. Tears were about to flow from her eyes. ” I am not the rightful person for you!”
” What are you saying? Why are you blabbering stupid words now, huh?”
” Ethan, you should find a more suitable woman for you. Someone who will take good care of you. Someone better, someone more innocent… someone… but not me. Not a daughter of a murderer.” She uttered painfully.
Daughter of a murderer? The man suddenly creased his brow. What is she saying now? He was surprised
” Aisha, what are you saying? What do you mean?”
” Don’t act as if you do not know! I bet you have already known that I am a daughter of that murderer!” Her tears started to gushed out.
”Who? Rio?”
” No! Silver’s!”
Ethan was suddenly taken aback. How did she even thought about that? Who said she was Silver’s daughter? Where did she get that information? Ethan raised his brow questionningly.
” Where did you get that damn information?”
” I heard their conversation before I fell off the cliff. I heard everything! I heard how Silver ra-ped my mom…. and I and Stacy…. we are his spawns!” She was sobbing.
Ethan wanted to laugh crazily after hearing that the woman wanted to leave him because of such a petty reason.
” So is that the reason why you wanted to leave me?” He sarcastically asked.
” You might think it’s nonsense but I don’t think my conscience will ever be at peace thinking that the one who killed your parents’ was my father! His blood is rushing throu-ghme, Ethan! Do you understand that?”
” that’s definitely nonsense! how —-”
” It might be for you but not for me! So just forget about me and try to find a better woman who will cherish you…not a woman like me…”
The man’s face suddenly darken. He was more than upset.. how could she easily tell him to forget about her? How could she just say that? After all these years?
”Did you even know how I lived in the shadows for the past few years?” He seriously spoke. The aura that he is emitting right now is something that sents shivers to Aisha’s whole body.
”If forgetting you is as as easy as you think, then I should have done it a long time ago! Why should I wait foolishly for the woman I love to come back without the a-ssurance that she’s alive?” Then he looked straight in her eyes.
” Even if Silver is really your biological father, can’t you at least consider my feelings? Can’t you even consider Mira who grew up without a father? Can’t you just disregard that one foolish reason and move on with your own life? He might have done worst but he’s not the determining factor of your life! He is not you!”
” Ethan, you don’t understand…”
” No, it’s you who do not understand!” He interrupted. ”Let me ask you one more time, will you stay? For me? For Mira? For US?”
The woman lowered her gaze and didn’t speak at all. though her face showed that she had already made her decision.
The man was waiting for her response but failed to receive one. ”So you have already decided, I guess.” Ethan straighten himself. He was so upset that the woman had choosen to give up. Dang! Why does it hurts to see that the woman you love couldn’t even fight for you?
” Fine… if that’s the best solution you could ever think of, then go! Go your own way. And I wish for your happiness.” Ethan clenched his fist upsettingly then spun around and left. He was totally upset…no, better yet say, he’s beyond mad!
” Ethan…” she whispered. She wanted to run after him, but she doesn’t want to. Her heart was torn in pieces upon watching the man’s retreating figure. Dang! Her heart ached so much but a daughter of a murderer like her doesn’t deserve a man like him.
Then she turned around and was about to leave but to her surprise, Rio was now standing in front of her. Since how long has he been standing behind her? she was startled.
” D-Dad!” She exclaimed.
” Aisha… are you really going to leave because of that reason alone?” Rio asked with a knitted forehead.
” I have to… It’s best for us…” she lowered her head.
” Do you know how he lived his life for the past few years without you?” She was surprise to hear Rio. ”Do you know how he kept punishing himself while blaming himself for his failure to save you three years ago? Aisha, if there is someone who had never rested for how many years then that would be Ethan. He had blamed himself for your death. And now that he had the chance to redeem himself, what did you do? You had pushed him back in shadows once again.”
Aisha was in total shock! Ethan had burdened himself for her death? How difficult should that be!
”I want to understand your reason but you have dissappointed me so much!” Rio continued. ”With such a petty stupid reason, you have chosen to let your daughter grow without a father. Aren’t you so selfish to include Mira for that stupid decision?”
” Dad… you don’t understand—”
” No Aisha, its you who do not understand a thing.” Rio interjected. The woman suddenly jolted. Why? Why couldn’t they understand her? Why can’t they consider her own reason? Is it that hard? Her mind is in a muddle.
” You should talk to your mother first before you decide to go. I really wanted to tell you the truth but I am so upset right now.” The man added.
Meanwhile, Ethan drove his car back to his hotel suite. While driving, he had already instructed the pilot of his private jet to prepare since he will go back to the Central State as soon as he’s done packing his things.
” Are you really going back? I really think you should talk again. if she hears the truth then she will definitely stay.” Caleb uttered while watching Ethan packs his things.
” she had already regain her memory so I will leave the decision to her. She needs to know what she really wants to do. I don’t want to force anything to her anymore.” He nonchalantly replied.
” Are you sure? Are you going to leave her just like that? After all you’ve done?”
” I have served my purpose. But I think the rest is up to her.” Now he’s done packing his stuffs. ” Caleb, I have to go back now. I have a son waiting for me as well.” He smiled. ” Please give my sincere apology to the others that I have to leave without seeing them.”
Ethan was about to exit the door when Caleb spoke. ” Are you still going to Paris on sunday?”
He halted for a minute before answering. ”Yes.” Then he went on his way.
Dang! He’s serious! But Paris means more than six months of stay! He will surely be there for more than a year! Is he really going to do it?!
Then he stared at Hunter who was silently sitting on the couch and have not spoken a word since earlier.
They do have the weirdest love story! They both sighed.

*Some days later*
He was watching Eli playing piano. Ah, he is not that little boy who clings to him anymore. Now he is a grown up boy now. A wise and independent eight year old boy who could play the piano beautifully. He will definitely be a lady-killer when he grow up, that’s a fact.
He smiled.
” So how are you coping up? Are you really sure about your decision?” Master Omni inquired.
Ethan’s scheduled flight for Paris will be tonight. And he will be staying there for 6 months to 1 year depending on the business need.
“Ehm, Yes.” His eyes were fixed towards his son.
“What will you do to her then?” The old man was referring to Aisha. “Aren’t you going to talk to her before leaving?”
He suddenly went in silence. “She’s a grown up woman now. It’s time for her to think about what she wants to do and how she wants to run her life.”
The old man raises his brow. He doesn’t understand young couples now. One time, they couldn’t live without each other, some other time, they are willing to let go of what they have been fighting for easily.
“Aren’t you going to tell Eli about her?” The old man further.
“He will surely hear about it one of these days.” Ethan nonchalantly uttered.
After a few more minutes, Eli run to where his dad and master Omni seated.
“Dad! How is it? Did you like it?” Eli was asking about his masterpiece.
“I love it son. Good job!” He smiled sincerely.
“Thank you dad!” he grinned. Then the man caressed his head lovingly. “Dad, are you really going to Paris tonight?” His face suddenly hints sadness.
“I have to son, but I will call you often, that’s a promise.”
“Can I come with you instead?” He grinned playfully.
“But you are still studying here. It will definitely affect your grades.”
The child bummed out. His father had just arrived the other day from Estrella City but he’ll be gone again for the longest time later tonight.
“Don’t be sad grandson, as soon as your school year ends then we will follow your father in Paris.” The old man encourage.
“Really?!” Eli’s eyes shone in enthusiasm. “Yes!”.
Anyway, he only have three months more to go before vacation.. Might as well spend some time with his dad in Paris since he doesn’t have much reason to stay in the Central State. Sahaya will definitely be upset if she comes to know about him going to Paris on vacation. But she’ll get over it soon since she has a family whom she can spend her vacation with.
