EPISODE 77
After an hour, the three gentlemen with the beautiful little lady had finish preparing themselves. Now they are good to go.
This night should be a beautiful reunion night! They are now anticipating what will happen next.
” How about the others? Did they already arrived?” Caleb asked Hunter.
” I’ve been calling Sophie for how many times now but she’s not answering her phone.” Hunter scowled.
” ha-ha! Knowing her, I think she had included us on that damn surprise thing.”
Hunter sighed. “yeah, that’s Sophie for everyone. ” How about calling Lisa and asking her?”
”that won’t work either.” He replied.
” Women!” They both exclaimed then chuckled mockingly.
Rio, who was listening to them sighed. Good thing his Cherry isn’t like their wives so he decided to call her instead.
” Where are you now?” He asked when the woman answered the phone.
” We are all here now. Where are you?”
” We are on our way.” He smiled.
” Okay, let me know once you arrived so I could come and see you.” Cherry added.
” I will. I love you.” Then he hung up. As soon as the call got disconnected, he faced the two gentlemen who went to get the little kid on the other room.
” Let’s go, they are already at the event.” Then his gaze landed on the little kid who was shining beautifully.
” Grandpa!” She exclaimed and run towards him. He scoop the littled girl and held her in his arms.
” Let’s go and let’s meet everyone.” He smiled.
” Ehm!” The little girl nodded in response.

Ethan’s arm was wrapped around her wai-st while greeting some men inside. Guess they all know Ethan even if he is wearing a mask. Also, he had never failed to introduce the woman as her date for the night.
The men, especially the young ones who had greeted Ethan never failed to notice the beauty beside him. Some even dared to ask him if the woman is single and if they could get the woman’s phone number. But Ethan only chuckled at their requests.
” Sorry but she’s taken.” The man smiled possesively. Of course, the men understood what he meant so they never bugged him any further.
” You could have given my number to that guy.” The woman joked while watching the young man who had just greeted them earlier as he walks away. The last guy who approached Ethan was definitely a hunk.
” Did he possibly catch my woman’s attention? Should I dispatch him now.” Ethan whispered. His tone was a bit threatening.
”Oh please don’t. He’s a total hunk you know.” She chuckled playfully. However, the man’s mood seemingly changed. And his emitting a murderous aura!
”Hey! I’m just kidding!” She laughed crisply. ”You’re the only hunk in my eyes right now so don’t think of any stupid things, okay?”
However, the man seems unconvinced. He is still wearing that grumpy face. therefore, the woman seductively ki-ssed the man.
” Smile hun… If I said you’re the only one… I really meant it.” Then she ki-ssed him again.
” Don’t ever say anything like that again, cause I am seriously pissed off. I might do something stupid tonight if you do that again.” He scowled.
” I’m sorry.” She smiled teasingly.
” I’m sorry to disturb you both, but Mr. Williams, Mr. Costa wanted to talk to you for a minute.” The beautiful host politely interjected.
” I’ll be there in a minute.” The man smiled before the host left. Then he faced the woman. ” I’ll be back as soon as possible. Don’t go anywhere, okay?”
” Ehm. I’ll be fine in here.” She a-ssured him.
As soon as Ethan left her, she tried looking around. There are a lot of people inside and everyone seems to be an esteemed guest. Then her eyes landed on the pool below. The scenery below looks refreshing therefore she went down the stairs. She’ll just inhale some fresh air.
She was standing on the edge of the pool, while looking at the horizon. The stars above and the moon shining in the sky, and the cold breeze that touches her skin, it was so refreshing! She closed her eyes to feel the atmosphere.
Then she felt her phone vibrated inside her purse. She took it out, it was Ethan.
She was holding her phone when she saw a young boy lu-rking around the pool. What is a child doing in here? She got curious. But then, her phone ringed again. She was about to answer when she saw the young boy fell on the water.
”No!” She exclaimed. The young boy is struggling, its very evident that he can’t swim. Dang! What will she do? She can’t swim either… she can’t…
” Help…help.. somebody help… please…” she could feel her knees trembling. She wanted to help the young boy but she couldn’t move her feet. She doesn’t know if someone had heard her plea… ”Help… somebody help…”
Tears came rolling from her eyes. She could feel her heart beating fast… she couldn’t breath. No! The young boy will definitely die!
Fudge! Come what may! She closed her eyes then inhaled and exhaled de-eply before jumping into the water. She was already holding the little kid and was about to get out from the water, but then, her mind went frenzy… her mind is in a muddle, then scene after scene came into her memory. It was too much for her to uphold!
Then she went unconscious! She fainted!
”God, if this is my end, if I die right here… please, save this little kid!” She silently prayed before she closed her eyes.
After a few minutes, a man jump in the water and saved the two. The litte kid first then the woman who held the young boy as high as she could so he could only breath.
” Robi!” A woman screamed worriedly as she dash towards the shivering young kid, then wrapped him with her coat.
The commotion must have caught the guests’ attention that they flock to the scene.
” Aisha!” The man yelped worriedly while doing CPR. Her mask is getting in his way so he removed it from her face. After few more tries, the woman coughed some water.
” E-Ethan?” She weakly uttered and smiled but fainted after.
The woman who was taking care of the little boy heard the man. Wait, did she just hear a familiar name. Therefore, she slowly walk towards the man and the woman. But her eyes wide-ned in disbelief.
A woman who looks exactly like her? Impossible!
But she’s dead… three years ago? What does this mean? She held her breath with her palms.
” Stacy! What happened?” Cherry and the others came into the scene when they saw the commotion earlier.
Almost all the people that had attended the mascarade party was now looking below. A quivering child and an unconscious woman in the arms of a gentleman.
”M-mom…” her unbelieving eyes landed on Cherry. Cherry got worried and rush to her side while Johnny rush to where his son is. Instantly, Cherry and Stacy’s eyes glanced at the unconcious woman who was being taken cared of by Ethan.
Shocked, Cherry stammered backwards. Good thing Rio was quick to support her. ” Cherry!” He held her wai-st.
” R-Rio…” her eyes are now filled with tears, ready to gush out anytime. Then her fingers pointed out to the woman in the arms of Ethan. However, she was a bit confuse to see Rio not surprise at all. Therefore, she creased her brow. Did he knew about her?
” Ethan!” Caleb and Hunter run to his sides as soon as they spotted him with the unconscious Aisha.
” Please prepare the car at once!” He beseech the two.
Caleb ran to the parking lot while Hunter a-ssisted Ethan as they dash outside the hotel building. Murmurs can be heard everywhere. But then Sophie and Lisa was rooted to where they were standing. What is happening?! They were caught off guard as well.
” M-mommy…mom!” Everyone heard a tiny voice from a little girl who was about to chase the gentlemen.
” Mira!” Rio dash to where the child was and embrace her tight.
”Papa, my mommy….” she started sobbing.
”Shhhh…. don’t worry, mommy is alright… she will be alright, okay? Then Rio removed the child’s mask. Cherry and the others couldn’t get a clear picture of what is happening when Rio run to the child’s side and comforted her as if he knew her very well. But when he removed the little girl’s mask, everyone got stunned and couldn’t even say a word.
Blue eyes like Ethan and face like….stacy? Did they have a child?
” R-rio…? W-who is she?” Cherry came forward with a bemuse face.
” It’s a long story, I’ll tell you everything but let’s follow them to the hospital first.” Rio uttered.
*FLASHBACK:*
” have you seen the three already?” Cherry asked Sophie and Lisa who was sitting on the table. Lisa must have been tired standing since her belly is big.
” We haven’t seen them yet aunty, I thought you have spoken with uncle Rio earlier.” Sophie answered.
” Yes, but 30 minutes had already pa-ssed since I have spoken to him.”.
” Don’t worry aunty, he’ll call you soon enough once they have arrived already.” Sophie smirked meaningfully.
Meanwhile, Jane was obviously looking around, as if she was looking for someone among the crowds.
” Jane, are you looking for someone?” Lisa asked the perplexed lady.
” E-eh?” She suddenly jerked. ” N-not really… I was just looking for Ethan.” She forced a smile.
” Ethan? I think I saw him earlier, he was actually with someone. I think he got a beautiful date tonight.” Sophie chuckled.
” Really?” Lisa suddeny stood up trying to search for the two.
” Yes. And I think the woman behind that mask is a total chick.” She smirked.
” Well, good for him then. I really wish he had already move on.” Lisa uttered hopingly.
However, Cherry didn’t say a word when she saw the sudden change in Jane’s mood. Guess she was not expecting to hear any of that.
After a few more minutes, Stacy came to where they are.
” I have already spoken with the host for tonight. Everything is set for the big surprise.” She giggled as she notifies them.
” Then good. All we have to do is wait for midnight.” Cherry uttered. ”But make sure that Ethan won’t be able to see anyone of you tonight, or else, it will ruin the surprise.”
”Don’t worry aunty, we will behave just for tonight.” Sophie laughed.
” looks like everyone is here.” They heard a manly voiced behind them.
” Johnny!” Stacy yelped then embrace her husband. ” By the way, where’s Robi?”
” I thought he’s with you.” The man raised his brow.
” Oh my goodness. I don’t know, I thought he was with you the whole time!” Stacy was worried. ” Mom, We’ll just look for him. We’ll be right back.”
” We will help…” Cherry suggested.
”No mom, stay here with everyone. Ethan might see us. Don’t worry, Johnny and I will search for him. Anyway, he won’t go anywhere else.” She smiled before leaving the rest.
” We’ll be back soon.” Johnny a-ssured them then followed Stacy.
Meanwhile, Ethan had finished his business then immediately went to where he left the woman. But to his surprise, she’s not there. So he took his phone out then called Aisha. However, the woman isn’t answering so he dialed her number again.
” No!” Ethan heard a scream on the other line. It was Aisha!
” Aisha… where are you?! What’s happening?” He asked while trying to search for the woman in haste.
” Help… somebody help…” he heard the woman asking for help over and over again. Now he’s worried. He’s not sure if it was Aisha who needed help or what not but one thing is sure, he needs to see the woman as soon as possible!
” Aisha!” He was trying to calm himself. But he suddenly heard a splash. He halted and his eyes wide-ned in disbelief. Is she in the pool?
He then run to the veranda and looked down. To her suprise, Aisha was now struggling under water while holding a little boy upwards, just so he could breath. Damn! She’s hydrophobic!
” Aisha!” He screamed one more time and dashed downstairs as fast as he could. He doesn’t know how he was able to reach the pool in a few minutes, guess it was his adrenaline kick.
Then without hesitations, he jump in the water and took Robi on the other hand and held the woman’s wai-st using the other hand.
As soon as he lifted the shivering boy and after making sure that he’s alright, he then shifted his attention to the unconscious woman. And then he perform an immediate CPR over and over again.
He is anxious, it’s obvious! Worry is painted all over his face as he continue performing cpr on the woman.
” Aisha, please, wake up! Please…” he muttered over and over again. He also removed the woman’s mask, not caring how the people reacts when they sees her. He’s not in the position to care about it anymore.
” Aisha!” He yelped. Tears are about to gush from his eyes but he was trying to control it. He didn’t even notice Stacy who just came in.
The woman suddenly coughed an amount of water, then slowly, Aisha opened her eyes. ” E-ethan?” She weakly smiled but fainted once again.
” Ethan!” Two gentlemen came to his aid. Dang! He suddenly felt relieved.
” Please prepare the car at once!” He ordered. Therefore, Caleb run outside while Hunter stayed to help him out.

He was pacing back and forth while Hunter and Caleb was leaning on the wall, waiting for the doctor to come out.
” Dude, calm down. She’s safe now.” Caleb tried to comfort the man who kept walking back and forth.
After a few minutes, Cherry and the others were seen dashing to where they are— they seeemed perplexed.
” Caleb!” Lisa immediate rush to his side while the man embraced her tight.
” You should have stayed and waited for me at the hotel.” He spoke.
” How could I when I heard that Aisha is alive?!” She exclaimed.
Caleb instantly jerked and looked at Hunter, who stared back at him as well.
” Uncle Rio have told us about Aisha. But why didn’t you inform us?!” Sophie glared at the startled Hunter.
” I…W-we…” he was breaking and doesn’t know how to explain everything so he averted his gaze on Ethan. Sophie and the others glanced at him too.
” Ethan…” Cherry gently spoke as she went beside the worried man.
Ethan faces her and the others, then looked down. ” Miss Cherry, everyone… I’m sorry for not letting you know about her as soon as I saw her. Don’t blame Caleb and Hunter nor Rio too since I was the one who told them not to disclose everything yet. When I found her,she didn’t recognize me at all. Later, I have proven that she had forgotten everything about her past life.” Then once again, he glanced at the close door.
” I don’t have the courage to tell her about her true identity so I decided to court her once again. To earn her trust…But I have never expected the danger in her life.” Then he looked at Cherry sadly. “If only I knew about it…. then… I should have done what’s necessary.” He blamed himself.
” I want to end everything first before taking her back to the Central State… to everyone…” he explained. ” I’m sorry.” He kowtowed apologetically.
” Ethan… I’m sorry that you have to take the burden alone. But I’m thankful that you have found her.” Cherry replied as she hug the man.
” Let’s just hope that she’s okay.” She added.
They have waited for a few more minutes before the doctor came out.
” Doctor, how is the patient?” Ethan asked.
” She’s out of danger now. But we need to let her rest first. Let’s just wait for her to wake up for the meantime.” The doctor smiled.
” Thank you doctor.” Cherry replied.

She slowly openned her eyes and looked around. She’s definitely in the hospital. Then she a-ssess her head, ah why does it hurts? She thought. Then instantly, she recalled what had happened.
” the child!” She wide-ned her eyes. She was about to get up from the bed when she suddenly heard some voices outside the room.
Wait… she could recognize the voice…. no… it’s totally all the voices!
Tears started to trickle from her eyes, but then she held her mouth with her hands. They shouldn’t hear her!
After a few minutes, she removed the IV in her hand then went to the window. Then she inspected the outside surroundings. She is definitely on the second floor building.
Good thing she was wearing a hospital pajama, it should not be a problem while escaping the hospital premises. Then without thinking any further, she made her way down using the window.
Meanwhile, Ethan was restless and had been feeling an inkling to get inside the room. After a few more minutes, he decided to check on the woman but to his suprise, the bed was empty and the IV needle was on the bed as well. He tried to search the comfort room but she’s not inside. Where could she possibly be? He thought.
Then instantly, his eyes glanced at the openned window. No! It’s impossible, he tried to shrug his thoughts but then he went near the window and looked down to make sure.
Fudge! He cursed inside him. How did she manage to get down? Did she possibly…..
Impossible!
