Fast forward to Thursdays…
I, kelvin and Muna has already agreed that we will not be going to school on Thursday, rather we are going to spend it in Muna’s house because of how boring the school is. ….
My parents had an emergency so they both traveled to Lagos on Wednesday but warned us to make sure we go to school which we nodded in agreement.
We were left with the nanny, and the driver at home…. After dressing for school, I and kelvin told the driver not to worry about driving us to school that we are going to join Muna in their car. He ignorantly agreed and we left to Muna’s house.
Muna: hey dude you guys made it,…. He said smiling
Kelvin: Of course bro, she forced me into this, but I’m going to school on Friday because my clas-sis not as boring as yours.
Lisa: Just watch your mouth, I never forced you into this.
Kelvin: Look at your mouth, you can now talk because I’m here already right?
Muna: Just cut the crap guys, you are here already,… Don’t worry we are going to have so much fun together.
I and kelvin changed our uniform and hang it in Muna’s wardrobe…. We were invited to the kitchen by Muna, he said his going to prepare the meal himself.
Lisa : hey dude, what about your nanny and cook?
Muna: I gave them two days off, he said in a bossy attitude.
Lisa: What the heck!
Muna : What the heck what lizard? They are my employees of course, is even a relief for them both.
Lisa: They are not your employees monkey, do you know how to earn money talk more of paying people?
Muna: That’s your headache my parents money are my money also.
Lisa: You’re such a spoilt little brat.
Muna’s is the only son of his parents not the only child of course, he has a sister that’s 12years older than him… Child bearing was a bit difficult for his parents. Fortunately he came forth when his parents has lost hope of child bearing. He was a miracle child and for that reason, his parents provides him with everything he ever needs but they also disciplines him a lot that makes him not to be as spoilt as most rich kids are..
And for his sister, she’s abroad studying medicine.
Kelvin: Lisa, are you going to let him prepare the meal or you are going to talk all day I’m starving already.
Lisa: Just shut up and play that game you knows how best to.
Muna: Eeem!… Lisa… I want to prepare coconut fried rice
Lisa: Wow! That will be very delicious, just go ahead I’m going to join kelvin in the sitting room.
Muna:… Buddy , eem, ain’t you gonna help me?
Lisa: No of course,, I’m your guest so serve me dude…
Muna : Yah I know and I’m not disputing the fact that you’re my guest, just tha….t
He said scratching his head and stammering a bit
Lisa: Just that what? I already know what he wants to say…..
Muna: I have forgotten the recipe……
Lisa:.. Hahaha kikikikikiki, how then did you intend to cook the mighty fried coconut rice with chicken?
Muna: I know how to prepare it after our cook thought me yesterday…. But after I woke up this morning, I forgot every thing, I have even browsed it up in the Google but starting it is quite another difficult thing to do..
Lisa: oh my gee! I can’t stop laughing… Just start anyhow dude , I’m starving
Muna: Please Lisa,… OK I will return the favor some time I promise, just help me out.
Kelvin : Help him sis, you’re the girl here, so is your responsibility.
Lisa: Is not my responsibility kelvin, so I am not going to do it…. We will all starve.
I said and burst into another round of laughter

I went to the sitting room and sat down, put on a program in the TV and started watching, after some minutes here comes Muna.
Muna: Please buddy, is already 8am, I’m really starving just help out,… Okey you know what, I will do the cooking just give me the directions
Lisa: My answer still remains no dude, I want to prove to that game freak over there that cooking is not my responsibility to any of you.
Kelvin:… Chuckles…. So this is what you are going to tell Muna when he marries you in the future huh?
I and Muna exclaimed in unison.
Lisa: Lisa… Hell no! I won’t marry this monkey
Muna: Bull shit, I rather become a priest than marry Lizard
Kelvin burst into laughter….
Kelvin: Okey, just to prove that best buddies You two should go in there and do the cooking, he said looking at us with a mockery look
Lisa: Or else what? I said looking at him in fury.
Kelvin: Or else I will tell everyone that you are not just best friends but…
Lisa: what do I care, every one already know we are best pals, so your lies came very late….
Kelvin: You should know the story I’m capable of writing, you don’t know what I can do…. He said laughing…
Muna: Just stop it, you too.. Please Lisa come help me out for ulcer sake, I’m starving already please
Kelvin: please just go, Queen Elizabeth, we are starving
After much pleas from them, then I went to the kitchen with Muna and we commenced the cooking….
We both get everything ready….. Kelvin helped in grinding the coconut and that’s the list help he rendered and went back to his game. Muna was doing the cooking while I tell him what to add at each point in time……. I watched Muna as he does the cooking, with his apron tied around him and a cap on his head,he looks exactly like a chef, a long time cook….
I brou-ght my phone and took some photos of him without his knowledge… The last one I took was when he was turning the food and he caught me.
Muna: Just erase those pix buddy, he said covering the food
Lisa: No dude, I’m sharing them online right now
Mana: No way, don’t…. He said and walked towards me to get my phone
I know that if he gets hold of the phone, he is going to delete all the pictures so I ran away and he pursued after me, yelling, give me the phone!… I ignored him and move further away but he rushed towards me and grabbed hold of me at the corridor…. We were dragging the phone when all of a sudden our mouth brushed..
I mean our li-ps brushed and every thing in me seized….
The taste of his li-ps was so sweet and I felt butterflies in my stomach,… His li-ps was so soft and silk and I wonder if that’s how every ones li-ps is or just his
Muna didn’t notice what is going on because he was still very anxious to collect the phone from me…..
And for me, I was so dazed and so carried away that I let him take the phone from me.
He smiled as he deleted all the pictures and handed it back to me….
Muna: Don’t capture me again Lizard, he said as he slightly tapped my shoulder and headed back to the kitchen
His touch was another different thing…. I became so lost as I sheepishly watch him walk into the kitchen without looking back at me….
I sees him differently now and not just as a buddy or best friend
Lisa…. The sound of my name by kelvin get me back on track.
Kelvin: Lisa, please come check on the food is getting burned
Lisa: Okey, I replied and headed to the kitchen….
Muna is turning the rice already…..
Lisa: Stop turning it, you dumb head, it will burn the more, I said and lowered the gas cooker.
