Few seconds later Muna called again and I picked
Muna: Hello buddy I called before and your line was busy
Lisa: yah sorry dude, kelvin was making use of my phone
Muna: Okey, I thought you was on a call with your boyfriends…. He teased
Lisa : Oh shut up,…. So what’s up, you wanted to tell me something yesterday
Muna: oh yah, that was why I called… Are you all set for Monday?
Lisa : what to do, I am arranging my stuffs right now,…. She said sounding unhappy.
Muna: buddy, I have got a plan for us, if you don’t wanna go to school next week you don’t have to go
Lisa: What are you talking about, you know my parents ain’t never gonna allow me stay at home… She frowns
Muna: I know that much, you can always come over to my house after dressing for school, since my parents ain’t home yet, you come over we spend the day together and by next week we resumes school together
Lisa: You are such a dumb Muna, what sought of ridiculous plan is that? You know my driver drops us off every day, so how on earth do you think that’s gonna work?
Muna: I know that Lizard, and I have got that under my control too… He said and chuckles
Lisa : how do you mean dude, you got my driver bribed?
Kelvin : No I did… Kelvin said laughing.
Lisa: kelvin, why are you eavesdropping on my conversations huh! Now get outta my room
Muna: Just let him be man, you should be thanking him because his the brain behind it
Lisa: She paused for a sec… Wait a minute guys, you guys went behind my back and discussed about my weakness huh! I’m done with this I’m not interested,… You know what? I’m happy going to school on Monday goodbye…. She said and ended the call
Muna: What the heck is wrong with that nigga, she’s just been too dramatic, I’m only trying to help her right? He said asking no one in particular, then picked up his clothes and rushed down towards Lisa’s house
Kelvin: Common big sis, I think you’re just overreacting, we are only trying to help you
Lisa: just get out of my room, do you understand the implications of what you want me to do huh!

Lisa: I’m simply not interested that’s final…
A rap at Lisa’s door…… They were both afraid because they thought that their parents overheard their conversations….. In a whisper. I told you to lower your voice Lisa,… Were you not the one raising your voice, Lisa retorted… I will skin you alive if any punishment is been giving to me by mum….. Another rap at the door…. Kelvin went and opened the door and it was Muna…. They both signed in relief
Muna: what’s wrong with you two, why did it take a whole year to come open up the door
Kelvin: you won’t understand, you just scared the living day light out of us, we thought that our parents overheard our conversations
Muna: he burst into laughter after laughing to his full…. He tapped Lisa… Common dude, why did you hang the call on me?
Kelvin: She’s scared that dad and mum will find out about our plans
Lisa: Both of you have no brains at all, do you know what it means to dress for school and go elsewhere? that’s not responsible at all
Muna: Yah you’re right Lisa, people might think otherwise you know…. Okey do you know what Lisa, I’m equally resuming school on Monday so we are going together
Lisa : Are you been serious right now buddy?
Muna: Of course, anything for you Lizard.
Lisa: She hug-ged him.. Oh thank you monkey, you are such a brain…. They both laughed out loud
Kelvin: You two looks so amazing together. buddy and dude… He said that in a mimicking way, and laughed cunningly……. I will be in my room Muna, …. Hurry and come over so that we will finish our game of last time
Muna: Sure kev, I’m coming to beat you to it this time , last time was just a mistake, so don’t let it get into your head.
Kelvin: Last time is no mistake, I will beat you yet again till thy Kingdom come..
They all laugh and kelvin exit to his room while Muna helped Lisa in arranging her stuffs for Monday….

I was so excited, though not that I fancied going to school on the very first week of school resumption oo, but at least I’m I excited because my best pal is going to be in the school also, is not going to be boring for me at all… I now looks forward for Monday to arrive.
Just like joke, here comes Monday and the preparation for school is at it again, no more sleeping till 8:00 again, oh how I miss my early morning sleep of cuddling inside the blanket hugging my teddy like a boo.
Grimmm griimmm! My alarm clock is at it again, it has resumed it’s work of early morning noise.
Gosh! gosh! gosh! I don’t feel like getting up from this comfort zone of mine.. I signed and knelt down beside my bed, muttered few words of prayers and lay back on the bed thinking of how the first day in school will look like…. Just then a rap on my door, i pretended to still be sleeping, the knock came again I pretentiously answered like I’m still drowsy….. I opened my eyes to see excited kelvin in my room….. I knew is the devil I said and shut my eyes.
Kelvin : Hey wakie, wakie sleepy head
Monday is here already, he said tickling me.
Lisa: Just get lost, I still wanna sleep
Kelvin: No way, sleepy you’ve been sleeping for a whole month now and you still not done sleeping yet?
Lisa: No, I still want to sleep for one more week and I will be fine besides nothing serious is happening in school this week.
Kelvin: Hello! It seems you’re forgetting something, you are attending a private school and not a public school so school is kicking off and getting set today.
Lisa: I know, but yet is still going to be very boring because most of my friends are still not back from vacation and the school will be very boring…. I don’t wanna go.
Kelvin: Then get to answer to mum and Muna whom you talked into going to school today, he must be getting set already.
Lisa: ouch! I wish there’s something I could do.
Where’s mum?
Kelvin: In the kitchen of course and she will be here any moment to check on you…. Lol… Here she comes.
My mom knocked and entered my room…
Lisa: Good morning mum, I greeted her robbing my eyes
Mum: Good morning my Adorable Angel, hope you slept pleasantly?
Lisa: Yes mum I did, I just wished I will be at home today, I voiced out my view.
Mum hold my hand and squee-zed it gently and tenderly…….. My darling, there’s no way you can stay at home while your mates are in the school, I believe you have heard enough rest for the past week. Education is very vital and number one thing you should be thinking every time, so get your as-stogether and go get ready for school.
Lisa: But mum….
Mum interrupted me… Shhii! There’s no buth, and don’t let your dad get involved in this please just go get set your food is almost ready….
I gro-aned in disappointment and lazily get up from my bed, kelvin is already gone I guess to go get set, my mum just left my room and I picked up my phone to call Muna just to make sure his not backing down on his promise……………………. *
I dialled his number and at the third ring he picked sounding sleepy, I almost foamed up at the sound of his sleepy voice.
Muna: Hello bu… ddy
Lisa : hey dude, I hope you ain’t still sleeping, just go get ready is Monday already and I’m almost set for school I said trying to be as calm as possible.
Muna:… Uhm! Okay…
That response was not what I needed to hear, I’m certain that he is still sleeping….
Lisa: Muna, are you still lazily sleeping? I yelled.
Muna: No Lisa…. I’m defecating!
I laughed and make some face,…. Hmmm! That’s irritating and your faeces smells terrible…. Just get ready please.
Muna: Chuckles… You just woke me from my dreamland lizard! He yelled and drop the call…
