Lisa: hi dude whatsup, are you are going to school on Monday?
Muna: Nope I don’t think so, you know how it has always been with this school of a thing right? If the school resumes newly is just as the same as when we finished exams because nothing serious will be on going there
Lisa paused for a moment, knowing that what her friend said was the truth but trust her parents, they wouldn’t wanna hear no as an answer.
Muna : Hello lizard are you there? He joked
Lisa: stop calling me lizard, you monkey,she retorted giggling
Muna: lol… So whatsup with you girly, are you resuming school on Monday?
Lisa: Of course I am, you know my parents won’t allow me to stay at home
Muna: he cuts her off… Of course I should have known that your parents wants to make you a book worm or book freak whatever… You know my parents are like that too but you know they are both out of town and are gonna come home by month end that’s why I have all the freedom in the world, he chuckles
Lisa: Oh just don’t brag too much about that before I call them to come back home immediately, I will tell them that you are very very sick… She said making a serious face
Muna: just come off it Lisa, you and I knows very well that you can’t do a shit like that, so stop been unreasonably jealous
He sure knows how to get me, he knows me quit long enough now to know that I’m burning with Jealousy of him going to spend a whole week at home while I will be in school bored and unhappy, but I’m not going to back down on my threat
Lisa : you are such a big monkey, you think I can’t do that right…. OK just watch and see
Muna: You are such a dumb as-sLisa! Just that my parents are very fund of you does not mean that you will threaten me in such a way…. Eem! anyways I give up
Lisa : you have to beg me for that before I could change my mind because I’m already angry at you dude
Muna: Awh! My princess of darkness, my shining light in the dungeon, my beautiful princess, my queen Elizabeth please darling, spare your best dude in the whole wild world
Lisa : Okey I forgive you Muna
Muna: thanks besty, do you know what? OK never mind I will tell you tomorrow please..
Lisa : very curious, muna please don’t start, you know I hate suspense so please tell me already
Muna: Don’t worry dear, is all for your good, I will tell you first thing tomorrow morning right?
Lisa: Alright then…. Bye dude

he said and chuckles
Lisa: Just get your silly as-soff my phone you Ugly dumb.
She giggles while Muna chuckles at the other end and the line went dead.
Muna and Lisa are childhood friends, they are almost the same age just some months differences, Muna gave Lisa Two months gap. They attended the same school right from primary to this secondary level, they are 14 years of age and in ss1 already. Both are very brilliant and always help each other in academics, they are both school mate, clas-smates, study mates best friends etc…. Muna is the prefect in their clas-swhile Lisa is the a-ssistance prefect. Some people called them twins and both families are very proud and delightful about the two kids since the two families are very close and they have a family relationships because of the kind of business both parents are engaged in
Lisa lives five poles away from Muna’s house and that makes it easier for them to be in close a-ssociates most times.

Today is Saturday already tomorrow is Sunday and Monday school resumes. I’m not quite excited about going back to school because my best pal and buddy won’t be around.
My little brother walks up to me. His name is kelvin ,12 years old but taller than me with just few inches
Kelvin: Hey sis, what are you up to and why is your face like that?
Lisa: Nothing kel, just thinking about few things.
Kelvin: Things like, you can let me in on it, you know I’m the BRAIN
he said and tickles me
Lisa: Nothing bro, I’m just fine, I need to go get my stuffs ready for Monday, so I guess you should go do Same too, I said and started walking to my room
Kelvin: Oh sis, common, I know you are not happy about that, right sis… (he said smiling sheepishly)
Lisa: I don’t understand what you are talking about kev.
My brother can be so tricky ee! he reads meaning into every single thing and he won’t stop bugging your life until he gets to find out what he wants to. Right now, I’m in no right mood to talk about anything because he will only end up teasing me, I left him and walked into my room and of course he followed me and sat on my bed
Stop bugging me Kelvin!! I said with a note of finality
Kelvin: Can I borrow your phone for a sec, I want to call my bestie
Lisa: I just exhausted my airtime.
Kelvin: please sis, I know you never runs out of airtime, please I want to make an urgent call to know If his coming to school on Monday.
Lisa: just tell me your wanna call your girlfriend you dumb head.
Kelvin: I gat no girlfriend sis, and I’m not ready to have just yet, girls are too fake so I don’t fancy them
Lisa: girls are fake and you don’t fancy them right? Then go get your own airtime because right now, this person standing right before you is a girl. So therefore, I’m not lending you my phone because cus I don’t fancy boys too
Kelvin:… Hahaha! Don’t be like that sis, your best pal is a he so there’s no way you can’t fancy a nigga
Lisa: Hahaha…. Wake up bro, as long as I’m concerned, Muna is a she and I’m a he to him so we sees ourselves as same gender, Doorrrh!
Kelvin: you two are such a big joke… I wonder when you guys will grow up and stop seeing yourself as same gender, just get that into your head and grow up
Lisa: Stop poking your nose kev, we just can’t change that Okey
Kelvin: I know you will one day, just trust me
Lisa: Just forget it, you never talk sense at all, I know you won’t stop bugging me if I don’t give you this phone… Here just a minute and don’t exceed that, just be fast about that and get lost from my room, I’m a girl and I need my privacy
Kelvin:… Thanks sis, you are the best.
Kelvin is one of the best thing I can’t stop thanking God about…. His a brother that everyone will wish to have, his cute and handsome, older than his age but very muscular and well built, at his age girls flocks around him but he doesn’t give a damn shit about girls.
His very understanding, jovial and funny, there’s never a dull moment with him, he can make you crack your ribs and laugh our your sorrows.
His a very good friend and a wonderful protector as well, with him I feel very safe and my secrets are always save with him….. We are best pals and the only children of our parents.
After some minutes, he returns back.
Kelvin: thanks sis, you had a call while I was on call
Lisa: whose the caller?
Kelvin: is only one person that calls you on phone so I guess you knows whom the person is….. (He said and wink)
Lisa: You sure knows how to insult some one, just get lost from my room.
Kelvin: Okey sis I’m lost under the bed, don’t bother to find me.
He tried to hide under my bed and I get hold of him and drag him outside and shut my door
He shouted behind closed doors…
Kelvin: Thanks sis, please forgive me because cus you have one minute remaining.
Lisa: Just know that you are dead if you have really exhausted my airtime!!
