“Put me down, Ben! Put me down you brute!” Elizabeth kept yelling until Ben gave in and let her down.
“What’s your problem!” She yelled as she hit him on the chest.
“Am sorry but I had to distract you and I couldn’t think of any other way but this” Ben said as held onto her fragile wrist.
“Why did you have to distract me?”
“Turns out the yatch trip had been planned by Logan to have Whitney all to himself but she had invited you guys and so he called me to stop you from showing up and I don’t know if the others made it to the yatch ” He answered.
“That was it? You should have just told me and I would have done my best to avoid it” Elizabeth said suddenly, a smile appearing on her face.
“So you would have stayed if you had known about Logan plans?” Ben asked and she nodded in reply.
“One thing I hate is to ruin people love moment just as I would hate it if some one ruin mine” Elizabeth admitted.
“I should have just asked you instead rather than to have carried you. You were so….”
“Heavy” Elizabeth finished for him.
“That’s not what I was going to say ” Ben countered quickly but Elizabeth was already walking off in anger.
“Listen to me. Am not saying you are fat, I just…..” He stopped talking when he saw the angry look on her face.
“Just move out of my way” Elizabeth huffed out and when he didn’t comply, she made to walk past him when he held onto her hand.
“You aren’t fat to me,Beth” he said which got her looking at him.
“To me you are the most prettiest and sexiest girl here” he added gently.
“And why is that? Why am I the most prettiest and sexiest?” Elizabeth asked as she kept starring at him.
“Cause you are the one my heart beats for” he answered truthfully.
“Lies! I almost fell for it. If this how you act your films then you would have stolen a lot of hearts” Elizabeth said but he took hold of her second hand and kissed it lightly.
“This isn’t acting, Beth. I really mean it when I say that am in love with you” Ben said with all seriousness.
Elizabeth felt it too, some how he didn’t seem like a liar to her and neither did he look like he’s joking.
“This is crazy! I…I…I need to use the rest room” she said as she quickly pulled away from him heading to the nearest rest room.
“Is that a yes or no?” Ben muttered to himself before going after her.

~ LOGAN’S YATCH ~
Both Whitney and Logan stood in silence starring at each other until Whitney broke it by laughing out loud.
“This must be a joke right? You are trying to tease me by….” She got silenced when he kiss her on the lips.
The sudden move got her standing still for a while and when she realise what was happening between the both of them, she push away from him.
“What are you doing?” The shocked Whitney asked.
“Am trying to prove to you that am not joking. I meant it when I said that I love you” Logan said again but when he made a move towards her, she quickly move away from him.
“But how come? How could you have fallen in love with me?” Whitney let out still feeling dazed by his confession.
“Why can’t I? You are the closest female by my side and you captivated my heart with your loveliness. I never smiled after Crystal death but then you showed up and made me smile. Thanks to you my phobia is gone, isn’t that one of the reason you chose to stay by my side?”
“It is but then I didn’t think it will be me you fall in love with” Whitney returned mildly.
“And why can’t I fall in love with you? You are the perfect girl and….”
“And thanks to me….thanks to me you’ve been suffering for years…Am not the right girl for you Logan and so, I suggest you fall in love with some one else” she said as she turn away from him but he held onto her hand.
“Falling out of love is harder than falling in love with some one. So don’t expect me to fall out of love with you when I just began. I don’t intend to stop loving you cause you are the one I want” he said with intent.
Whitney chose not to give a reply and left the cabin instead.
Luckily for her they were back at the beach and so she made her way out of the yatch.
She was walking off on the soft sand when she heard her name being called.
“Am glad it’s you” Romeo said as he caught up with her.
“Do you have some thing to say to me?” Whitney asked wanting to be left alone at that particular moment.
“None but I….fine, I do have some thing to say but we can do that while strolling around ” he suggested.
They walked on in silence before Romeo began to talk.
“Am sorry for what Mary did earlier. I didnt think that she will go that far” Romeo said.
“It’s her right to be jealous. If I was in her shoes, I will probably do the same” Whitney said softly which got Romeo smiling.
“Can I ask you some thing?” He said.
“Ask away” Whitney replied nonchalantly.
“What exactly is going on between you and Logan. He tells me that he’s in love with you but I don’t buy it” Romeo said which got her stopping mid way.
“Did he really tell you that?” Whitney asked and that got him nodding.
“Tell me, do you also feel the same for him? Are you in love with him too?” Romeo asked.
Whitney stood thinking about it, wondering what her feelings for Logan is.
Yes, she’s dazzled by his handsomeness and when she found out about Crystal, she had felt pity and had decided then to help him but that isn’t enough to call love and besides, her heart beats for the man in front of her or does it ? She wondered as she turn her gaze on Romeo who was waiting for a reply.
At that moment she recalled Logan’s confession and every other thing she was thinking of disappeared.
“Whitney” Romeo called when she was taking long to answer.
“Am sorry Romeo but I have to go” she said before running off.
She got back to their room only to see Rose there.
“Thank God you are here my child, come have a seat” Rose urge and slowly she went to seat beside her and surprisingly, Rose engulf her in a hug.
“Thank you my child” she began slowly.
“Thank you for being by Logan’s side, thank you for loving him and also for pulling him out of the shell he’s put himself in. I had doubted your relationship at first but now am fully convinced that you two are together and you make a great couple” Rose told her as she bubbled in excitement.
“Now all that’s left is to prepare for your wedding. I plan to make all the arrangement and…”
“I think that is too soon” Whitney said as she interrupt her.
It’s one thing to make her believe that they are a couple and it’s another to make her believe that they are going to get married when they aren’t.
“Logan and I haven’t talk about it. So why don’t we wait to do that before any thing else” Whitney added quickly.
“That’s fine. Just let me know when you’ve set the date. Where’s Logan?” Rose asked.
“He’s still at the yatch doing some thing, am going to sleep for a while” Whitney said as she quickly excuse herself.

Later that day, Logan got back to their hotel and went straight to his room to look for Whitney but she wasn’t there.
He later got the info from his mom that Whitney has gone to Elizabeth’s room.
Immediately Logan went in search of her and as soon as he got in, he told Elizabeth to excuse them which she did.
“Why are you here?” Logan asked.
“Cause I prefer here” she answered softly.
“Get up, let’s go back to our room ”
“I don’t want to” Whitney answered.
“Do I have to carry you?” Logan threatened.
“If you do then I will scream out which would attract people’s attention and we don’t want our argument to get to your mother right?” Whitney replied not scared of his threat at all.
“Why are you doing this? Is it because of what I told you earlier? It won’t change a thing Whitney, it won’t stop my heart from beating for you” Logan said to her but she didn’t give a reply.
Moving towards her, he knelt in front of her.
“Are you being this way because you don’t feel the same? I must admit that my confession is a bit sudden to you but I can no longer stay silent. I love you and I intend to make you feel the same so you….”
“We can’t be together! We aren’t meant for each other!” She said as she stood up from the bed she was seated on to stand in front of the window.
“You and I aren’t meant to be and so, I want you to forget about me cause I won’t ever fall for you like you want” she said feeling hurt.
She had been practicing this moment ever since she left their room and now that she’s saying it, she feel so hurt.
She stood with her back turned on him expecting to hear the door but instead she felt his arms around her.
A sob threatened to spill but she held it back while standing immobile in his arms.
“I don’t know why you are trying to push me away but let me make one thing clear to you. No matter what you do, I will keep on loving you and neither will I let you go” he whispered into her ear and gave her a kiss on the cheek before leaving the room.
As soon as he left, Whitney broke down in tears.

~NEXT DAY ~ LOGAN’S APARTMENT
As soon as Whitney and Logan got home, she ignored him like she did through the whole of that day and was heading upstairs when he caught her by the arm, pulling her into his arms.
“Until when will you keep ignoring me?” He asked mildly.
“Am not ignoring you” she replied.
“You are! You are ignoring me and I hate it. I’d rather you talk than to do that” he stated.
“Am not ignoring you. I just don’t feel like talking and you are hurting me” she said as 8he let go of her arm.
“Am sorry. Am just….your silence is driving me nuts, Whitney” he admitted.
“That’s why I made it clear to you that there can never be a thing between us. Just do as I say and forget about me” she said as she went to the stairs.
“You keep insisting that we aren’t meant for each other. Is it because it’s you who has got Crystal’s heart?” He asked and that got her stopping mid way.
“What…. did you just say”
