“Sharon! Sharon! Please wait for me”Mary called as she caught up with Sharon who had been having some time alone at the school garden.
On seeing her Sharon stood up heading for no where in particular.
“Sharon, listen to me, hear me out”Mary said as she took hold of Sharon hand again
“Why should I?”
“Are you angry at me because of what Harvey said to you? “Mary asked.
“Why should I be? Harvey was only opening my eyes, showing me that there are some people I shouldn’t believe or trust “Sharon said as she tried to turn away
“I didn’t lie to you because I want to”
“But still you kept the truth away from me. I thought we were friends, I was more comfortable with you than with Nina because I trust you, I told you things about me but you kept yours hidden”Sharon said
“Am sorry! Am sorry that I did not tell you about me being Louis sister….”Mary begged
“As I have said, I’m not angry with you Mary, am just a little disappointed, that’s all. I had to learn the truth from some one else and not you, that hurts, it shows that you don’t trust me”Sharon said
“I knew you hate Louis and I thought that you would hate me too if you learn that Louis and I are related”Mary said
“I only have an issue with Louis and you are not Louis but the fact that you hid the truth from me still hurts a lot”Sharon said
“What can I do to apologise”Mary begged
“Nothing! Right now,I don’t want to talk to you”Sharon said as she head to clas-s.
On the other hand Louis had left the school early, Heading to his grand mother house, if he wants his question to be answered, he had to ask her, he thought as the car stopped in front of an old apartment.
It’s so typical of his old grandma to live in an old apartment, who would have thought that an old queen would end up living in the out skirts of the town?
As soon as the door opened, he was engulfed in a ti-ght hu-g. Though he is not close to his father, he is happy that he is close to his grand mother.
“What brings you here my boy and you are still dressed In your uniform?” she said as they both walk into her tea room.
“I came to see you for an important issue grand ma”he said
“What is it my boy?”
“Well it’s some thing that has to do with our rings ”
“Ahhhhh……the eternal ring! Tell me, have you finally found your other half?”She asked
“Perhaps”He replied
“What do you mean by perhaps?”She asked and for the next few minutes, Louis explained to his grand ma.
“And what’s worst is that Harvey came to me telling me that Sharon turned out to be his prospective bride”
“This is all so confusing grand ma, I don’t know what to do any more”Louis said as his Gladys,Louis grand mother gave a long sigh before she said
“This is history repeating it self”
“What history? What do you know grand ma?”Louis asked
“It happened some years ago, they were two friends, two good friends and like every one, they were waiting to meet their other half with the use of the eternal ring and they did, they meet her but she turns out to be the same person”His grand ma began softly
“Just like what is happening to Harvey and I”Louis said softly.
“The first guy was the first to meet her, she pas-sed by him at the market one day and he found that his ring changed its colour for just a brief moment, during the time that he was with her, it changed but when she left, it was back to its normal self”
“Just like me”Louis said
“Just like you”Gladys replied
“She met with the other guy and the same thing happened, the same thing you mentioned about Harvey happened,the two studs we’re excited, they were happy that they had finally met their other half but when it was time to show each other who she was, they were surprised that she is the same girl”
“Did the girl ever realised that two men were after her?”Louis asked
“I think so because we all found out later on that she loved the first stud, the one who is similar to you”Gladys said and Louis found him self smiling.
“Don’t feel triumphant yet, what happened years ago might be similar to your story but the girl in the past is not the girl now “She said and that wiped off the smile on Louis face
“Am listening grand ma”He said
“When the second stud found out about his friend and his other half, he was furious, he had all the right because she belonged to him, she was his other half “She said
“But that isn’t true right? She wasn’t really his other half?”Louis asked
“She was! She was his real bride, The girl belonged to the second stud whose eternal ring had changed”
“But she was In love with the first stud!”Louis said
“Yes she was and though his eternal ring change if she happen to be near him , it didn’t count, she belonged to the second stud whole fully”
“But you said she ended up with the first stud!”He said
“She was in love with the first stud!”Gladys corrected
“Fine, she was In love with the first stud and she ended up with him right?”,
“She did, though she wasn’t the first stud other half, she ended up with him”Gladys replied
“So now if history is repeating it self, then it means that am the first stud and Harvey is the second stud, Sharon is Harvey other half but she will fall in love with me and then I will get to be with her at the end,is that what you are trying to say grand ma?”Louis asked
“Maybe or maybe not , what happened in the past goes a long way Louis, they were both in love and so they fought for each other but can you say you are In love with this girl or is she in love with you too? You are not Louis, You are only in a rush because your father keeps on bothering you about it”She said
“What can I do? For two years now have been waiting for my other half and suddenly there is a new girl at school and my ring reacted to her even though it was for a while, she is the first girl my ring have ever reacted to……”
“And she turned out to be Harvey other half”
“Am I destined not to ever have my other half?”Louis asked
“If that first stud had let go of the woman he loved to the second stud then he would never have had his second half, people like the first stud and you are destined not to ever have their other half”She said
“And so if I decide to be alone, I get to leave the crown and then Harvey will take it, that is some thing I won’t allow grand ma, if Harvey other half is the only way for me to get the throne, I will get her Grand ma, I will do that before Harvey does”he said
“That will be condemning your self to ……”
“Stop it grand ma, don’t try to persuade me to stop, just like that first stud,I will go after Harvey other wife and I will make her mine, if you love me as you claim, you will support me” Louis said and then left the house.
“By going after Harvey other half, you are condeming your self to some thing far worse my child”Gladys muttered to her self as she watched Louis walk out of the house.

“Don’t you think Louis is into me!”Nina asked as she and Sharon began to head home for the day.
“I think so”Sharon replied softly starring at Nina who looked head over heels.
She is a soft hearted girl,too good for that Louis guy, why did she have to let her self fall for a guy like Louis?
“Did you see the way he was starring at me at lunch today”Nina asked
More like at me? Sharon found her self replying in her head and she blinked at what she just thought of.
Well it was true that he was starring at her and that is because he wanted to make her feel uncomfortable, he might not show it now but he is into Nina. Sharon thought to her self.
“My mom is going to be very happy !”Nina muttered to her self.
Sharon had enough! She was still angry about Mary not trusting her enough and here is Nina just talking about Louis, the guy whom she hated a lot, she has to leave before she lose her control.
“I will head home now Nina, take care”She said and didn’t wait to listen to what Nina was saying.
She walked out of the school gate and was waiting for the school when a black car suddenly stopped in front of her.
Two men in black got out and pulled her into the car, her yells were the last thing people heard as the car drove off.
