“Do you all like the food?”Louis who had been quiet asked as he stared at them
“Of course! This is lovely, this is not from the school cafeteria”Nina said this starring at Louis.
“Of course it’s not from the school cafeteria, Louis top Chef came here to make it”Luther replied.
Apart from being rich and also a prince, he also had the power to call any one at what ever time he wants it, Sharon thought shaking her head in silence
“What’s the matter Sharon? Isn’t my chef food good?”Louis asked and she stared up to find every one starring at her.
“No….I mean yes….its good”She said putting her thumbs up.
Why does she keep on making a fool of her self, she has to get out of here before every thing turns out worse.
“Oh! Look at the time, I think Its best that we head to clas-s right?”She said starring at Nina and Mary who were still enjoying their food.
” There’s still enough time Sharon and don’t worry, if you all get back to clas-s late, you only have to call our names and they will bend “Liam said.
“Aren’t you going to eat Louis, at least have a bit of the prawn”Luther said
Louis walked towards the table, intentionally standing behind Sharon chair and taking the prawns given to him by Luther.
Sharon had to shrank into her seat just to avoid body contact with him.
She knew he was smiling and that infuriated her, he had intentionally invited her here to make trouble, he knew she was scared of him and yet he uses any opportunity he gets to be close to her.
She looked up and saw that he starring down at her and for a while she was lost staring into his eyes.
The arrival of some one in the room broke whatever connection she was having with him.
They all turned to stare at Harvey starring at them.
“I didn’t remember inviting you?”Louis said as he straightened up.
“And I didn’t come to join your party or what ever you are doing, I came to get some one”Harvey said starring at Sharon.
He walked towards Sharon and pulled her up from her seat.
“What’s going on?”Sharon muttered at Harvey, surprised by his attitude
“You are coming with me”He said and began to pull her off only for Louis to pull her back.
“She is my guest and she wont leave until I say so” Louis said this starring at Harvey.
Sharon stood in between them starring at the two guys who held her hand.
She was still wondering why Harvey is here when it hit her.
He came to help her, she thought starring at Harvey who was glaring at Louis.
She has been wondering how she would get to Leave this place and this is her chance to do it, she thought.
“Louis is right Harvey! You should leave and don’t cause a scene”Luther said
“If I leave this place, Sharon leaves with me too” He said.
Still holding onto Sharon hand, Louis moved towards Harvey
“You really are getting on my nerves?”He said looking very angry.
Sharon knew that if she didn’t do something, the two will certainly kill each other.
“It’s best that I leave with Harvey, I already finish lunch and it was amazing and besides Harvey and I have some thing to do”Sharon said pulling her hand out of Louis.
“Thanks, I will be heading back now”Sharon said and pulled Harvey out of the room.
She kept on pulling him until they got back to the school hall, she let go of him and turned to stare at him.
“I don’t think you know this but you just saved me a while ago, thanks”She said and turned to leave only for him to pull her back.
“I don’t think you know this too but am also a prince”he said
“But Louis is ……”
“A prince as well and my half brother”He said
“Your what?”Sharon asked surprised.
“What am trying to make clear to you here is that you should stay away from Louis, have been his brother for years and I know him,he is not some one you should get close to “Harvey said
“But I…..”
“He is not some one you can be close to, I beg you Sharon, stay away from me and if he still doesn’t leave you alone, come to me, I will protect you, I mean it”He said and she stared at him for a while before asking
“Why? What’s in it for you if you protect me”she asked
“A lot, a lot is in it for me, until I get to confirm it, you will be un-der my protection”He said and turned to leave only for him to stop again
“And has Mary told you yet?”he asked
“Told me what?”
“That she is Louis sister and also my half sister, beware of her too”He said and walked out of sight, leaving the stunned Sharon at the hall.
“It would have been perfect if that no good Harvey hadn’t show up” Mary said
It’s been a while since the lunch session had ended and every one apart from Mary and Louis stayed at the room.
“What are we going to do now?”Mary asked Louis who was still quiet
“Did you notice some thing different about Harvey?”Louis finally asked
“Notice what? Is there some thing I should have noticed?” Mary asked and Louis couldn’t give a reply because Harvey him self barge into the room for the second time.
“What are you doing here again?”Mary asked starring at him
“Leave,I have to talk to our brother alone”Harvey said
“You might be used to ordering the maids at home but am not one of them and …..”
“I think you should leave, as it is Sharon is angry at you, I wonder why you didn’t tell her about your real relationship with Louis here “He said
“Don’t tell me you…..”
“Yes I did and she was surprised by it”He added
“I doubt if she will keep on being your friend after finding out your secret”He said and Mary said an inelegant word before running out of the room.
Harvey and Louis stood for a while starring at each other and it was Harvey who broke the silence first
“Tell me Louis, what’s your deal with Sharon?”He asked
“I will only tell you mine when you tell me what your deal is with Sharon?”Louis replied
“You aren’t playing fair big brother, I asked the question first”He said sitting on one of the empty chair
“You wouldnt come here just to ask a question, start gloating and then leave”Louis said waiting for him to start talking
“fine then, since you have given me the permission to begin,I will start like this…..stay away from Sharon” Harvey said
“And why should I listen to you?”Louis Asked
“You and I know it, we both saw it a while back”Harvey said holding up his ring hand.
“And what does that have to do with me leaving Sharon alone?”He asked
“You know very well that am not really into this prospective bride stuff, I never wanted to find my prospective bride because I was satisfied with my life but some thing strange happen, my ring changed and guess who I was with when it did”
“Sharon”Louis replied already knowing it was her
“That’s good, I thought they were exaggerating when they said you were very smart, turns out you really are!”
“Cut the crap and just answer my question?”Louis yelled at him
” Yes! Sharon is my prospective bride, this changed when I was with her this morning”
“You know that Sharon is not one of us?”Louis muttered
“I know and have been wondering why her? Why it turned out to be her? That is still some thing am wondering about and while am looking for answers, I want you to stay away from Sharon”He said
“That is some thing I won’t do Harvey”Louis said
“Why? Why are you after Sharon?”he asked
“That’s a secret, now that you have said your peace,I want you to leave or you leave no choice than to throw you out of here” Louis said as he moved back to the window
” I will and have warned you already, stay away from Sharon”He said and left the room.
Louis stood by the window thinking about what he just said.
Some thing is wrong? How is it possible that Sharon turned out to be Harvey prospective bride?
His ring changes when ever she is close to him. Harvey ring did the same too.
Just what is going on, why is the two of them attra-cted to some one who is not even a part of them.
He has to know,he has to get his answer, he thought as he pulled out his phone, dialling a familiar number.
