3 YEARS LATER.
DIAZ INNOVATION GAMING COMPANY. (DIGC)
“These are the resumes for the new recruits sir” Kiara, Jason’s P.A said dropping some flies on the table.
Jason ignored her and continue working on his laptop however Kiara didn’t stop and continue talking.
“The interview is about to commence. They are waiting for your presence sir”
“Tell them to proceed without me”
“Will you join them later or…”
“Do I look like I’m in the mood for some f**king interview?” He asked rather mean while kiara just bowed.
“I’ll take my leave now sir” She turns to go.
“Wait!” His voice stopped her.
“Sir?”
“Take those with you” He gestured to the resumes.
“Yes sir” Kiara pack the resumes and exit his office. Jason continues working without lifting his head up once.
You must be curious about what happened three years ago right?
Alright this is it.
After waking up, he met himself in the hospital.
However he couldn’t remember a thing about what happened to him. The cops claimed he was found passed out in his car and was brought to the hospital but he found that unbelievable.
What he was doing in the car in the first place?
Why he couldn’t remember how he got there all seems strange to him.
Somehow, he felt he’s forgetting something important but no matter what it is…he couldn’t remember a thing.
The fact that he kept being bothered made him consulted a hypnosist professor.
And the visions of his life with Penny was brought to the surface in the hypnosis.
Devastated was an understatement for what he felt.
Pained and heartbroken.
He became lost and didn’t know how to start.
The fact that Penny disappeared without a trace and no body remembers her like she’s being erased in everyone’s memories really saddens him.
A day didn’t pass without him thinking of her and many nights has he had…crying and brooding.
He eventually took over the company he had always rejected.
Maybe if he works, he’ll be able to take his mind off things. So he always kept himself busy. He also distances himself from people and doesn’t interact much. It’s like he closes his world…not welcoming anyone who so ever it is in.
He rarely smiles and always has a few to say.
That’s how he has been living for the past three years without his weirdo.
It was really weird.
“Hello…what do you want again?” He said as he picked up his phone.
“I told you I’m aint doing this! Send her away or something. I won’t take it lightly if I get home to meet any b*tch in my house. If you really don’t want me to disappear then be warned grandpa” He declares and hanged the call.
That was his Grandpa who had been trying to set him up with someone.
He had set up several blind dates without his consent and even made some ladies come to his house without his permission.
However, Jason had made it clear to him several times that he isn’t interested in a lady for now but his grandpa just won’t listen.
Always compelling him to get married.
And everytime they discussed that, they always ended up fighting and with Jason threatening him to disappear without a trace.

“Next!! Number 21!” A blonde lady in suit announced.
“Yes I am!” She raised up her hand grinning.
“Follow me” The blonde lady said going inside a room while she immediately followed her.
“This way” The blonde lady showed her another door while she smiles sweetly at her before entering.
“Hello” She greeted taking her sit on a chair which was placed at the center facing the panel’s table.
“We never asked you to seat yet” Ms Carmen, one of the panels said strictly.
“Oh sorry…I only thought it’s normal I do. Should I just get up?” She asked lifting her butt up a little.
“Just take your sit” Mr Edgar, another panel said.
“Thank you” She mutters breathing out.
“So…Peninah McCain?” Ms Carmen asked.
“Well…that’s me” Penny stifle a chuckle.
“Stop laughing..we ain’t a clown” Ms Carmen said with a straight face again while she stopped zipping her mouth. Literally.
“So, got any experiences?” Mr Edgar asked.
“Nopppe” She answered laying emphasis on the ‘p’
“But…three chairs…two people…did the other person went to the restroom? Shouldn’t we wait for him?” Penny asked cluelessly pointing to the empty seat at the middle.
The panels gave her a weird warning look.
“Orrr…is it a her?” She asked again.
“Miss penimah?” Ms Carmen called.
“It’s actually Peninah ma’am” She smiles.
“Shut it” Ms Carmen said and again she glued her lips together.
“Why do you wanna work at DIAZ IN?” Mr Edgar asked while she only raised her brows still gluing her mouth together.
“You can talk now” Ms Carmen said clearly frustrated.
Penny exhale.
“I’ll ask again. Why do you wanna work at DIAZ INNOVATION?” Mr Edgar asked again.
“I heard the first time so you actually don’t need to repeat it. And also for your answer…” She paused and gulp down nothing.
“It’s such a big company…the pay would definitely be high wouldn’t it?” She beams at them.
“Excuse me what?” Ms Carmen frowns removing her glasses.
“Erm…you see I actually just finished college I’mma just a poor girl with a bright future ahead of her. I have many dreams to fulfill also and to do that I need money. This is a well known company and I’m quite brilliant…so I think this kind of company fits me. That would be my answer If I’m were to be honest” She replied.
“And if you aren’t be honest your answer would be?”
“It’s been my lifelong dream to work in DIAZ INNOVATION. I would like to be part of those who would make it more successful and larger than it is right now ” she replied simply.
“Ohhh….I see. Thank you Miss Penimah_”
“Peninah…it’s Peninah ma’am carmel”
“Carmen? It’s Carmen”
“Yes ma’am”
“According to what I can see here…your qualifications are quite great and it’d be a honor for this company to have you as one of its employee” Ms Carmen paused and she smiles.
“But unfortunately…your qualifications requires a higher value that we…absolutely can’t offer”
“What? What…are you saying?”
“You’re too expensive for our company so…we’d like if you could go elsewhere where they’ll be able to afford you”
“Wait but_”
“You can go Miss peni…nah. It was unpleasant meeting you” Ms Carmen said wearing back her glasses.
“But…wait! I…”
“Call the next person in” Ms Carmen said to the telephone.
Peninah carried her bag and started leaving but then stopped.
“F**k you and your damn company!” She gave them the middle finger before marching out completely.
“She’s one hell of a drama isn’t she?”
“I personally think…she’s a psycho and psychos aren’t allowed here” Ms Carmen said dropping her resume in the trash can.
Penny marched out of the room stomping her heels on the floor angrily.
“Those damn panels…old witch!” She grits marching away and in the process she bump into someone.
“Oh, my f**k!” She gasped going down.
Jason was fast enough to catch her in his arms and her mouth went wide open in shock.
Probably in shock, Jason releases her and she eventually landed her butt on the hard floor.
“Ouchhhh!!!” She winced holding her waist.
“Hey! Why would you do that?!” She frowns at Jason who only looks at her dazzled.
“Wei…weirdo” He called as she stood.
“What?” She asked not hearing what he said.
“It’s…you it’s you!!” Jason squeezed her into his arms in excitement while she just stayed In his arms probably surprised.
“What a psycho!!” She got hold of his hand in a swift, she flipped him over and he landed on the floor with a loud thud.
The people around gasped.
“There are so many damn freaks here aren’t they? Isn’t this supposed to be one of the best company in the country! Why is it so full of psychos uhh!!!” She fired twisting his arm.
“Let…let me go…” Jason winced.
“Why? So you could molest me again you freak!” She twisted it more and Jason continues grunting until the securities came and get her away from him.
“Let me go! Let me go jerks!! I’m gonna screw you all let me goo!!!” She started throwing her legs in the air as the securities got her dragged out of the company.
“Penny…Penny no…”Jason made to go after her but he was stopped before he could.
“Sir…are you okay Sir? Who let such a wacko inside the company?!” Kiara said with disdain.
“Who is she?” Jason asked.
“I’ll find that out Sir. Sir we have to leave now”
“I’m sure that was her…it was her…”
“Sir….are you okay?”
“She didn’t recognized me…Weirdo didn’t…” He mutters.
LATER.
Getting home, she threw her bag somewhere and fall of the couch.
“B*tch you’re back! How did it go?” Michelle, her housemate asked coming from the kitchen.
“Bad!” She gruff.
“What do you mean? Bad?”
“Uh…I was fired before I even got hired.”
“Now…that’s interesting…” Michelle smirks taking a sit beside her.
“Tell me babe I can tell from your face already that something horrible happened”
“You’re right… I had a crash with a psycho” She replied taking off her shoes.
“Shoot!” She grits looking at her bruised foot.
“Damn shoes” She mutters.
“Psycho? Tell me about it”
“Well…so I was so pissed up and left the room in anger but then this freak ran into me and started molesting me”
“What?! Is he crazy!” Michelle sprang up.
“Exactly my point Michelle you can’t believe he touched my b**bs and slapped my butt in public? Gosh!! I was so embarrassed” Penny reported dramatically.
“He has gone loco hasn’t he? So what did you do?” Michelle demanded with her hands on her waist.
“Don’t you trust me…of course I kicked his f**king @ss. I sent him flying to the sky”
“That’s my girl” Michelle gave her a high five.
“You should have brought home one of his teeth though”
“Yeah…maybe I should have. Thinking back about it now makes my blood boil. Should I just go back and get his friggin teeth!” She hit her palms on the desk.
“Calm down…how about we go cool it off at the club. You in?”
“I’m forever in! Wait a minute I’m gonna wash up real fast!” She said rushing to her room.
“Be fast about it!” Michelle shouted after her.
On getting to her room, she took off her clothes and throw it somewhere.
Walking through the pile of clothes on the floor, she strip naked completely and walks into the bathroom.
“Ummm…” She moans as the water hit her body.
“This feels so good…” She smiles closing her eyes. Feeling the warmth of the water on her.
After bathing, she wrapped herself with towel and walks to the mirror admiring herself.
“Gosh…why do I have to be so pretty? I look so perfect” She smiles but it faded when she suddenly remembers earlier.
“He’s such a odd psycho…somehow I can’t get him off my mind” She sighs and her gaze landed on her chest from the mirror.
She loose the towel a little bit down and touch the scar which was right on her heart part.
“Just where did I get this and why can’t I remember? I feel like it’s something crucial…” She said suddenly feeling melancholic.
“No no…not this night. I’ve got fun to catch. Don’t worry babe…you look perfect with the scar…it added to your beauty” she winks and walks back to her messy room sitting on a chair which was in front of a mirror also. She took her lotion and started applying it on her body but then halt when she discovered something.
“No…” She mutters as she couldn’t find the anklet on her ankle and sprang up.
“How could I miss this?” She started looking around, rummaging and scattering everywhere looking for the anklet.
She didn’t even bother when her towel came lose and just search the room to the toilet frantically looking for the anklet like a crazy woman.
“Hey! Hey! Michelle!!!” She rushed into Michelle’s room suddenly scaring her.
“AHHHH!!!” Michelle yelled as she suddenly ran in.
“Hey! You scared me out of my f**king wits! What’s wrong with you!! And why aren’t you putting anything on! Are you planning on going to the club like that! Did you become a stripper without letting me your best friend know!!” Michelle shouted at her at once.
“Mich…did you…did you perhaps find my anklet? I can’t find it anywhere and it’s driving me crazy!!”
“Your anklet? Of course I have it”
“You do!!” Her eyes widened.
“Yeah…I saw it when I was doing laundry this morning…I’m sorry I forgot to give it back” She opens her drawer and brought it out.
“My anklet!!” She sighs in big relief collecting it from her.
She slumped on the bed holding the anklet to her chest.
“I don’t understand…you cherish it so much yet you lose it everytime. There will come a day when you wouldn’t be lucky to find it anymore I tell you” Michelle said folding her arms across her chest.
“Exactly…I don’t know why I keep losing it” Penny mutters.
“Who do you think gave you that? Still can’t remember?”
“No…I can’t…I don’t know” She mumbles turning to lay her chest on the bed.
“You know you could have bought that yourself”
“No…I have this strong feeling someone gave it to me…and it’s really really important. It’s like it represents something”
“You mean like your love? Hey you’ve been single since birth!”
“I know! You don’t have to remind me”
Michelle sighs.
“Anyway I’m done here so you find something to put on and let’s head out girl! I plan to rock the club the whole night!!!” Michelle slapped her butt before going out of the room.
“I’m glad I found you…” Penny smiles.
“Screw club! We’re cleaning up tonight!!” Michelle shouted from the living room.
CLUB.
“GO GIRL!! YOU ROCKKKK!!!” Michelle wouldn’t stop yelling as Peninah shakes her body vigorously to the crazy beat booming in the club.
Her hair flew around while her chest goes up and down simultaneously.
Michelle was also behind her dancing as well. Her hand was on Penny’s waist and occasionally slapping her butt.
“I LOBBBBBE YOUUUUU HOOOO!!!” Michelle yelled.
“SHAKE IT!! WHINE IT!!! SHAKE THAT F**KING ASS FOR ME B*TCH!! ”
“YOU GORRIT BABE!!”
“WHAT AM I!!!”Penny screamed out loud.
“YOU’RE A BADASS!!!” Michelle screamed back.
“SCREAM LOUDER B*TCH!!”
“YOU’RE A F**KING BAD ASS!!!”
“HOOO!! ”
“I LOVE YOU MICHELLE!!!”
” DAMN YOUR F**KING @SS! I LOVE YOU TOO B*TCH! OH YEAH!!!”
UPSTAIRS.
Jason cared less about the whole crazy activities going around.
He focused only on his drink with Penny occupying his mind.
He could swore it was definitely her earlier but why was she so different and didn’t even recognize him.
“Hey man stop drinking and join the fun instead” Josh pat him while he looks up.
“I’m fine…you guys should enjoy”
“You know I can make you feel better” A slutty voice said beside Josh but Jason only replied her with a death glare.
“Whatever…” The slut rolled her eyes cat walking away swaying her big @ss.
“Then I’m gonna be down there dancing…you see those ladies down there…they’re bloody hotcakes! I’ve gotta hook up with one of them I’m sure…they’ll be killer on bed!” Josh gushed gesturing to Penny and Michelle who had stole the limelight on the dancing floor.
Jason took a cursory look at them and his eyes almost budge out when he saw her.
“Penny!” He leaped up instantly and before Josh could say jack, he dashed downstairs.
“I knew he wouldn’t be able to resist…he’s a man after all…that guy” Josh shakes his head before whizzing to the half naked ladies dancing.
Jason forced her way into the crowd of people circling Michelle and Penny hailing and cheering them as they display their crazy dances.
“It’s really her…” He mutters looking at her confused for a while. The Penny he knows certainly wouldn’t do this. No she knows nothing about this things.
“Weirdo!” He called grabbing her hand while Penny stopped and raised a question brow at him.
“What!” She snapped at him.
Jason said nothing but just stare.
“Get lost if you aren’t gonna say anything you’re ruining my fun!” She snap again but instead of replying, Jason dragged her away from the dance floor.
“What the bloody f**k!” Michelle mutters staring at them as they leave.
“What the f**k do you think you’re doing! Let me go RN!!” She gruff trying to wiggle her wrist from his tight grip.
When she couldn’t do it, She resulted to kicking his leg.
“Ouch!” He released her.
Penny folded her arms.
“Your problem man!”
“When did you…become this aggressive?”
“Since forever duh” She rolled her eyes.
“Don’t you really recognize me?”
“Are you my soulmate?”
Jason went silent…then smiles.
“Yes I am…I’m your soulmate Peninah”
“What a freak…how does he know my name?” She mutters to herself and Jason surprised her by suddenly engulfing her in his arms.
“Hey…let…go”
“You were alive…you finally came back to me…” He mutters emotionally on her shoulder while Penny just stood stunned.
He disengage holding both her shoulders.
Penny blinks severally staring at his watered eyes.
“Thank you…for coming back to me…Penny”
Penny’s eyes grew bigger when he placed his lips on hers suddenly catching her off guard.
