ANDREA POV
(A DAY AGO)
“Come in”the authoritative voice said and I walked in with the guard accompanying me
I stood starring at Max father, even when he is sitting down,He looks so scary and intimid@t!ng.
“Thank you, you may leave”He said to the guard who accompanied me and as soon as the guard left, I felt more scared than ever
“Have a seat”He said to me and I slowly I say down on a chair opposite him
“So you are the famous Andrea, the one who have been bugging my wife, the one who have stole my son heart and the one who have taken some one fiance”
“Didn’t he ever tell you that he belonged to some one “he asked
“He never told me, when I met Max, he wasn’t d@t!ngany one”I manage to say
“And so you took the opportunity that he was single to s£dûç£him!” He said angrily
“I didn’t s£dûç£him sir, we both fell for each other”I replied
“Fell? You fell for him and he did for you? Tell me what do you even un-derstand at your age, at this age the only thing talking is your b©dy not your heart”
“You don’t love him and he doesn’t love you, you only lvst for each other and my wife made it clear that you have satisfied each other”He said and I starred at him
“My wife tells me every thing and when it was out of her hand, she called me here and seeing the kind of situation Max is about to put him self in , I c@m£ wanting to prevent that from happening”He said
He brou-ght out a ticket and put it on the table.
“This is a ticket going out of the country, leave this country, forget about Max and never think of coming back and I will set you up in a place where you will live comfortably for the rest of your life”He said and i began to cry softly
“But i love your son”
“Don’t talk to me about love when you know nothing about it, can’t you see that by being with Max you will only ruin his life, you are not good enough for him and you will never match up to his standard,Max being the only heir of our Company will nee-d to have some one with a good Name and background as his wife, not a poor thing like you”He said hurting me more with his words
” Crying won’t solve a thing, you nee-d to leave fast Andrea,once you leave the country and start to live a luxurious life, you will forget about him”He added
“I don’t think I will be able to forget him, I love him and even though you tell me that what I feel for him is lvst,I know that what I feel is love, I love Max and I will keep on loving him”I said In between tears
“You really are a slut! Just what do you want for you to get out of my son life?”
“I just want you to give us your blessing, let Max and I be together”I begged again
“This is the only blessing I can give to you two “he said as he pushed the airplane tickets to me
“And what if I decide not to accept this?”I asked.
“If you decide not to leave, you and Max will continue being with each other but then I will dis own him, I will throw him out of the house and let him suffer, he is used to my wealth and once he sees that suffering with you isn’t worth it, he will leave you and come back home”He said
“Do you really want that for your self and for Max, do you want me to disown my son, do you want him to live in poverty only to live you in the end?”He asked and i whispered a no
“Then take this ticket and leave the country, as I have said I will give you the grace of spending time with him and as soon as it’s up, you live with your mom”he said.
I stood up and take the ticket heading out of the office
“I will only give you a week,once the week is over, you are to leave my son life for good” he said again and nodding gently I left the study feeling so sad.
(PREs£nT TIME)
I stood in front of the mirror all dressed for school.
Today is the third day out of the week I agreed to spend with MaX
I took out the ticket from my closed drawer And stared at it.
In a few days,I will be leaving the country and i won’t be seeing Max again.
Just then the door opened and my mom walked in.
quic-kly I put the ticket in one of my book and hid it in my school bag.
“Aren’t you going yet?”She asked
“Am about to leave mom, I was just doing some thing”I said as I closed my bag up and with a quic-k k!ss, I left the room.
I haven’t told my mom yet and I don’t even know how I will tell her about it but I will just have to tell her some day.
Getting out of the gate, I saw Max waiting for me by his car.
Feeling happy,I ran into his out stretched arms and he held me ti-ght
“You don’t know how much I miss you”He said torturing me
If he misses me when am still living in his house,how would he cope when I leave.
“I also miss you too”I replied
“Let’s always be together at school okay, don’t stay out of my sight”He said and i nodded.

“History clas-s is the worst, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it”Beatrice said as we walked out of history clas-s.
“Well I find it interesting”I replied
“Says the one who hates math”Brenda ch!pped in and I hit her lightly on the arm
“Let’s forget about clas-s for now and talk about you”Beatrice said
“Me?what do you want to talk about?”I asked
“About your relationsh!pwith Max”Brenda said
“Rose have been going around saying that she will be getting back with Max, is that true?”
“Of course it’s not true”I replied quic-kly
“I said it, that witch surely nee-ds some one to set her mouth right ” Beatrice said in anger
“But I dont think she will be saying that if she doesn’t have a reason,what do you think Andrea”Brenda asked
“I also don’t know why she saying that but Max and I love each other and we will keep on loving each other no matter what, Rose won’t ever separate us”I said trying to convince myself of that fact but I knew that u was just kidding myself because I know that Rose is spre-ading out the gossip because she knows that am leaving.
Just then I remembered the ticket I had put in my bag, What if some one goes to my bag and take it, Max shouldn’t see the ticket ,I thought
“I nee-d to do some thing, I will see you guys later”I thought as I began to run to clas-s
I got to clas-s only to find see my bag where I left it, no one has t©uçhed it.
Wanting to be sure, I opened my bag and saw that the ticket was still there.
“You wouldn’t have to leave if you weren’t d@t!ngMax”Jack said behind me suddenly and i turned to stare at him
“What?”,
“You will be leaving the country right?”He asked and quic-kly I put the ticket back in my book and closed my bag
“You know nothing”I said and began to head out but he st©pped me by holding my hand
“You don’t have to lie to me Andrea! I know what that ticket is and there is still time for you, break it off with Max and you won’t leave”He said looking at me pleadingly
For the past few days have been avoiding Jack and he seem to be doing the same thing but then out of the blue he talks to me today
“Since when have you known that I am leaving?”I asked
.
“Have known for a while now Andrea and so plea-se break it off with Max, I beg you!”He begged again
“And why should she break it off with me”Max said by the door way and the both of us turned to look at him.
He kept on starring at us but when he saw Jack holding my hand, he walked In and pu-ll off his hand away
“Don’t you ever t©uçh Andrea”He said
“Or what?” Jack asked moving towards him and I knew that if I don’t do some thing,The two will fight it out.

ANDREA POV
“You are really asking for it this time!”Max said moving towards him but quic-kly I got in between them
“Just st©p it,no fighting”I begged and Max cooled down a bit, he took my hand and began to head out
“Do you know why I asked her to break up with you, do you want to know?”Jack asked and we both turned to look at him
“Done listen to him!”I said trying to pu-ll Max out of the clas-s
“I want to know why he is so confident about asking you to break up with me”Max said not bothering to answer me.
I looked at Jack,hoping that he wouldn’t say a thing and luck was on my side when the teacher walked in.
“Now go back to your seats,clas-s will start soon”He said starring at us all
“Not for us sir, Andrea and I will skip clas-s today”Max said and with out waiting for the teacher reply, he pu-ll-ed me out of clas-s and I was unable to do a thing.
“Max where are we going?”I asked but he wouldn’t answer.
He looked angry, is it because he saw me with Jack, that is nothing, I better as-sure him of it.
“Max, Jack and I weren’t doing a thing”I said but he still didnt let go of my hand, neither did he st©p walking
Even though he asked me to break up with you, I never thought of it”I said again and still it got me the same response
“Max what is wrong?”I asked and that made him st©p.
He took me by my arm and pushed me to the wall
“Don’t you have some thing to say to me?”He asked
“What?”
“Don’t you have some thing to say to me?”he asked looking hurt
“I don’t have any thing to say to you”I said and he nodded In acceptance.
Taking hold of my hand, he began to pu-ll me off.
We got to the music room and he pushed me in closing the door.
I still had the bag pack in my arm and as soon as he closed the door , he walked towards me and pu-ll-ed the bag from me.
“What are you doing ?”I asked as I tried to take it from him
He still didn’t answer me and he opened up my bag and threw it’s content on the table.
“St©p it!”I said trying to st©p him but he pu-ll-ed his hand away
He took all my book and when he finally took the last book that the ticket was in,I knew it was over.
He opened the envelope and when he re-ad what was in it, he turned to stare at me
“Don’t I mean any thing to you?”He asked
“Max I can explain……”
“Explain what? This air plane ticket shows that you are to leave this country and you are to never come back”
“When did he give it to you? Is it before you c@m£ to my room or after?” He asked and I couldn’t answer because I was crying
“Like a fool I believed you and bought an ap@rtment for you, wanting to take you away from my parents but it turns out that you had your own plans too, I must have been a joke to you right?”He asked and his last question got me talking.
“Then what was I to do, it was either I leave or I never get to see you”
“That doesn’t matter, you should have never given in, what hurts me the most is that you couldn’t trust me, you c@m£ up to me after collecting this ticket and yet you smiled, you smiled at me and told me every thing is fine when it’s all a lie!”
“I did it to protect you! I did it so you won’t be dis own, so you won’t have to live with out the comfort you have been used to”
“He knew that if I agreed not to leave,you will keep on d@t!ngme no matter what and he made it clear to me that he will disown you, he will s£nd you away and you…..You will hate me for it and that is what I don’t want”I said as I kept on crying
“I still don’t get you! Why do you think that will hate you?”He asked
“You won’t be living in comfort, you will have to endure living a poor life and you will regret your action, you will regret choosing me and you will hate me for it, I would rather leave than to lose your love Max”I said still crying
“You don’t know me well enough!”He said and i stared at him
He to-re the ticket to pieces and threw it on the floor.
“I would rather be disown than to lose you”He said and pu-ll-ed me into his arms
I held him while the tears kept pouring,I felt so relieved and scared at the same time.
“I just wanted to protect you, I never meant to lie to you, I never meant to hurt you”I said as I buried my face in his arms
“I know and am sorry”He said softly
“Why are you sorry?”I asked
“I wasn’t able to protect you from my dad, I should have been there for you but I wasn’t “He said
“You d………”
“Shhhh………from now on, I will do the protec-tion and plea-se don’t you ever think of collecting another ticket from him neither should you think of leaving me,okay!”He said and i nodded softly.
MAX POV
While Andrea went back to clas-s,I decided to go home, the urge to confront my father is so strong that I can’t wait for school to end.
If I hadn’t find out about the ticket , Andrea would have left me and that alone will drive me mad.
Slowly I let my mind drift to how I found out about the ticket
“You know I heard that he is d@t!ngRose”
“What about Andrea”
“I think he has had enough of her”
“Where did you two hear such gossip”I asked as I went to meet the two gossipy girls, I couldn’t control my anger, hearing them say such nons-en-se got me feeling angry.
“We….we….”
“Answer me!”I yelled at them
“Well….we heard it from Rose friends, they kept on saying that you and Rose are back together and that ………..”
I didn’t wait to listen to the rest of their story because I was alre-ady looking for Andrea.
I found her at the balcony with her friends or rather her minions
“Woohoo………your guy is here Rose”One of her friend yelled and they began to talk at the same time.
I gave Rose an angry glare and immediately she shut her mouth
“What’s with what am hearing?”I asked
“What’s what?”Se asked feigning ignorance
“Do you want me to say it in front of them”I asked
“You guys should plea-se leave us”she said and reluctantly they left
“What happen now?”
“How dare you spre-ad false rumour about us?”I asked
“It’s not false”She replied
“While am still d@t!ngAndrew it is false,am giving you a certain amount. Of time to rectify your mistake or I would do some thing you wouldnt like”I said and began to walk off
“I don’t want to?”she said and I st©pped
“Do what ever you want ,I don’t care, I know that you will be mine soon”She said
“And why are you so sure?”I asked
“Why don’t you ask Andrea that, am sure that she will have the answers you nee-d”She said and walked off before I could st©p her to ask.
“Max! Max! Max!”Geoffrey called and st©pped me from going after Rose
“The English teacher is looking for you,it’s kind of urgent”On hearing that I went to the teachers office and went to do what the English teacher asked of me.
I was about to leave when I heard the math teacher talking to the principal.
“So another student is leaving Jupiter high, what’s her name ?”The principal said
“Her name is Andrea Blake and she just started some few months ago, am quite surprise that she will want to leave this soon”the math teacher said
“But what surprise me more is that chairman Winston,Max father called and did every thing”he added
“Max father? Are they close or what?” The principal asked
“I don’t know but another thing he said is that is leaving the country”The math teacher said and did it all, I left the teachers office and went in search of Andrea and it turns out that what the teacher had said was true.
It still infuriates me to know that I had learnt this from some one else but am quite relief that I know about it and that I got a chance to st©p it from happening.
