CANDY’S ROOM.
“How embarrassing…this is the second time…Kings must think I’m a dirty pig…ugh! Danny gosh! Must he get on my nerve everytime…I was gonna shower after eating…” She took off her clothes and march to the bathroom.
Candy finished taking her bath and didn’t even bother to go back to them.
She’s still embarrassed.
She decided to take and stroll and explore the beautiful place taking pictures and also making video of herself.
Mercury has tried to talk to Clark several times but one way or the other Ivy always got in the way.
Now she’s tired…that lady wouldn’t give them space at all.
They’re currently in the living room dancing to a music.
Ivy held clark and they started dancing together.
Mercury just sat watching them as she’s not in the mood.
“Why aren’t you dancing?” Danny asked moving his body to the music
“Don’t feel like…by the way have you seen candy?”
“Candy? No…come to think of it she hasn’t come back since earlier”
“I’ll check her up in her room”
“Okay…?” Danny went back dancing and Mercury stood up.
Clark’s eyes follow her so does Ivy.
“Come on Clark…?” Ivy draw his attention back.
Minutes later Mercury came back looking worried.
“Guys I can’t find candy and her line isn’t going”
“Cool down Mercury…she must be around” Danny said.
“But…she doesn’t know this place…I know candy she likes going about…she may have got lost”
“But she isn’t a baby…she’ll come back herself”
“She has been gone for over an hour now…I don’t think she’s alright I’m going to look for her” Mercury said going out.
“I’ll follow you” Kings follows.
“Oh no…what the heck! Really”
“We can just continue after we find her…let’s go Ivy” Clark and Ivy also left.
“Whatever…?” Danny murmured and slump on the sofa.
“I hope she got eaten up by some animal…that’s what you get for ruining my fun candy”
IN THE WOODS.
Candy was trying to go to the water fall but got lost after many attempts she decided to just go back but then a monkey got her hat and hung it on a tree.
“Stupid monkey” she cursed trying to get the cupcake hat with a tree.
“I bet you’ve never been in love that’s why you did this to me. I hope you never find your soulmate you damn monkey!”
She stood in akimbo looking at the tree which was hung on the tree.
“How do I get this?”
She tries climbing the tree but only got hurt instead.
“What have I done to deserve this?!” She stomp her feet on the ground.
“I hate monkeys gosh!”
She heard a clapping sound and looks back.
“Nice…what a nice display” Danny claps walking to her.
“What are you doing here?”
“That’s what you say to someone who has come to save you?”
“I never asked you to come”
“Then I’ll just leave” he turns but candy runs to him holding his hand.
“Now that you’re here…can you do me a lemon?” She smiles at him.
MINUTES LATER.
“You can’t even climb a tree? You’re just handsome for nothing”
“Just forget about this…you can get another one”
“No I can’t…Kings got me this…it’s precious to me”
Danny sighs.
“Please Danny….Danny…dan…dannny…?” She shakes his hand like pouting like a baby.
Danny face her and draw her cheek.
“You’re so frustrating…really…?”
“That’s hurt”
Danny drop to a squat.
“Hop on”
Candy smiles and got in his back.
“Higher…higher..?” She got the hat and wore it on her head.
“Have you gotten it?”
“Uh? Not yet..go higher…a little bit..”
Danny held her legs and tries to perched higher.
Candy giggles silently to herself and Danny looks up.
“What the…it’s no more there”
“Of course it’s on my head”
“I should have known…get down”.
” I don’t want to…your back is so wide and soft..I love it” she rested her back on it smiling.
“Hey get down…?” He tries to get her down but she won’t budge.
Danny tickle her suddenly and she jumps landing her but on the ground.
“Ouch!” She winced.
Danny straighten his back.
“You should have gotten down when I asked you to…let’s go” he starts leaving
“He won’t even say sorry?” She smirks to herself.
“Ahh…haa! My leg” she held her leg.
Danny looks back.
“It’s hurts Dan…?” She pout
“I think I sprained it” she said again rubbing it.
Danny sighs in exasperation and went back to her.
“My back will do right?” He asked and she nodded.
He squat and she got on her back.
“Ha…my bag” Danny took her small green bag.
“And my phone”
He also took the scattered phone on the ground.
“Anything else?”
“Let’s go”
Danny hung the back on his neck and leave the woods.
Candy wouldn’t stop smiling to herself.
“Don’t get your mucus on my clothes”
“I don’t have…and I’m not that dirty”
“I’ll take your word for that” he smiles.
AT THE VILA.
“Where have you been candy?” Mercury ran to them.
“I’m sorry for keeping you worried Mercury…I just wanted to take a look around”
“You should have told me…your phone was even off throughout”
“It fell…?”
“Seriously…you do this everytime” she walks out angrily.
“Why is she so mad? I already said sorry”
Danny shakes his head and leaves also.
“You shouldn’t just leave without telling anyone…you don’t know this place to much” clark said.
“I already said I’m sorry”
“You got us all worried”
“And I’m sowwwwwwy”
Ivy smiles and and excuse her.
Kings came out with the first aid kit.
“I’m sorry okay”
“I’m not scolding you”
“But you’re going to”
“Give me your hand” he took her hand disinfecting it.
“It’s stings”
Kings smiles.
Danny was coming with an ointment to treat her sprained leg but stop when he saw Kings with her.
“Thanks Kings” she mutters and he plaster the wound and he smiles at her making her grins also.
Danny felt he’s not needed and decided to excuse them.
“Don’t do that again…everyone was worried especially Mercury”.
“I’ll talk to her…but were you worried also?”
“Of course I was…you suddenly disappeared and wasn’t reachable…it’s a good thing Danny found you. But found how he managed to find you when he was the one reluctant to”
“Even if he didn’t I would have come back…?”
“You should rest…?” He stood up and carry the first aid kit leaving.
Candy looks around and saw no signs of Danny.
“He dumb me after making me get hurt?” She scoffs.
Seeing that no one is around she stood up and ran to Mercury’s room.
“My love…?” She cuddles her on the bed.
“I said I’m sorry…stop being so angry already…you know I can’t stand you being angry with me”
“You had me worried cand…I thought something happened”
“I know you love me and I surely do as well…more than Clark does”
“Why are you bringing him up?”
“Are you two having a fight? I noticed the vibes between you two”
“It’s nothing…?”
“Really…tell me now…tell me to I won’t stop disturbing you”
“But I thought you sprained your leg how come you can lift it perfectly?”
“Ohh…oh my leg…it hurt Mec”
“Get lost candy”
AFTER AWHILE.
After playing with Mercury for a while candy went out.
Everyone has vacate to their room and she seem bored.
Then she decided to call the person who can break the boredom.
Danny just had his bath when his phone rang.
“What do you want?”????
“I wanna sleep” candy said at the other end. ????
“Then sleep” he ends the call. ????
Her call came in again.
He ignored it and wear his clothes but when she wouldn’t stop calling he picked it up in exasperation.
“What!” ????
Candy sniffs at the other end.
“I can’t even walk because it hurts so much” ????
He sighs.
“Where are you?” ????
Danny went to the living room and met her there.
“Oh Danny is here” she grins.
“Why did you call me?”
“To take responsibility for my leg…you caused it remember?”
“Are you saying I’ve to carry you everywhere?” Danny furrowed his eyebrows and she shrugged.
“How did you get here?”
“I was here all these while”
“Don’t bullshit me”
“I crawled”
“Good…you can just crawled to your room”
“Danny….I’m famished” he made a puppy face.
Danny sighs running his hand through his hair.
He made her some cereal and served her.
Candy opens her mouth.
“You hurt your leg not your hand”
“Tch…why are you suddenly being grumpy?” She took the spoon and start eating.
“Hmmm…taste fantastic” she moans to the food.
“Neck time you call kings to baby sit you I don’t have time for all these”
“I can’t call kings…I don’t wanna stress him”
“But it feels good to stress me?”
“Huh? I don’t know why but I so much like it” she grins and took another spoonful of cereal in.
“I guess you had enough” he took the food from her heading to the zinc.
“But I’m not done eating…I only ate three spoons”
Danny collected the spoon from her and carry her.
“Pretty girls don’t eat much…it’s time for bed”
“But…but…I’m hungry”
Danny paid deaf ears and took her to her room.
“Yesterday it was Kings carrying you to your room today it’s me…how ironic…I wonder who it’ll be tomorrow”
“Kings” she mutters.
He dropped her on the bed on getting to her room.
“Good night” he made to leave but she held him back.
“I want to pee” she said innocently.
“Then crawl there…I’m out of here” he said leaving but then stop.
“You really get on my nerves” he carried her to the bathroom while candy wouldn’t stop grinning.
“Should I just come help you with taking off your pant too?” Danny said standing outside the door.
“Shut up Dan” she yelled from the bathroom.
“It’s okay candy…you don’t need to be embarrassed with me…remember I’m someone who has seen what your future husband haven’t seen”
“Just get the fuck here I’m done”
Danny smirks and went inside to carry her out.
He kept his gaze on her and she looks away shyly.
Danny snickers.
“Are you falling for me sweet?” He asked dropping her on the bed and taking a sit beside her.
“First I’m not and second why call me sweet while I was named candy?”
“Candy is sweet isn’t it? So sweet candy…candy sweet simple” he smiles.
“Then…do you think I’m sweet?” She blink her eyes in a cute manner.
He motion for her to move closer and she did.
He moves closer to her ear then whisper to her.
“You aren’t sweet darling I fact you’re far from sweet…you’re just teews” he smirks.
“What the hell is that?!” She hits him on the chest and Danny finds himself laughing.
“It’s okay if you don’t find me sweet I’m sure Kings does” she smiles.
“If that makes you feel better…think whatever you like”
“Tch…?”
Candy eyes snapped to his wet hair.
Seems he just took his shower she thought.
She felt tempted to touch it.
Her hand went up to it but before she could he held her wrist.
She gasp lightly and her gaze shift to his.
“What are you doing?” His voice totally change now.
“I was just…tryna touch it”
“Don’t…only my wife is allowed to touch this but you can if you know you’re gonna marry me…touch it and be my wife”
Candy bit her lower lips.
To her the sentence ‘be my wife’ made her heart beat like crazy.
Danny saw her expression and burst into laughter.
“I caught her…I caught her…look at you why? We’re you gonna say yes?” He teased.
“Get lost” she hit him silently on the chest.
Danny took her hand and put it on his hair rubbing her hand on it.
“Do whatever you please…don’t worry I’m not marrying you…I don’t chase after someone who’s already taken”
“Taken?”
“I know you have a thing for Kings” he said and she bit her lower lips again.
“Can I really do whatever I want?”
“Don’t cut my precious hair”
Candy smiles and started ruffling his hair with both her hands.
“Wow…it’s so soft…?” She grins.
Danny also brought his hand to her hair and ruffle it.
“Wow…you look scary” he said scattering the hair all over her face.
“Stop glaring at me like that”
“You’re cheating ”
“Are we kind of playing a game here?”
“Tch…?” She dresses her hair very well and Danny help her remove some strands of her over her face.
Candy spat out some hair which was on her mouth.
“Heyyy…dirty girl…I’ll do it” he removed the strands and candy just glare at him.
“Stop glaring already…you look like Annabelle”
“I’m too pretty to look like a monster”
“She isn’t a monster dummy…she’s just scary”
“And I’m too pretty to look scary” she pointed out.
“Alright sweet enough already it’s time for bed”
“You’re leaving already?” She held his arm.
Danny smirks.
“Seems like you enjoy my company a lot…should I just stay overnight then?…will you be okay with that…?” He asked leaning closer to her.
“No…?” She mutters.
“Should I call Kings?” He whispers still leaning closer.
“No…?”
“Then…?” He paused his face so close to hers.
The bridge of their nose touching.
Candy closed her eyes waiting for the next thing.
His lips brushed her cheek and he whispers to her ears.
“Sleep tight….sweet” he whispers slowly fanning her early in the process.
Candy shudder.
Danny smirk and withdraw.
“I’m leaving” he said and candy open her eyes.
He stood up and head for the door.
“Goodnight Dan” she waves and he smiles before going out.
Clark has been waiting for Mercury for over twenty minutes now.
He texted her to come to the waterfall a while ago but she’s still not there.
“Is she really not coming?” He sighs.
“Why did you call me out so late at night?” He turns back on hearing her voice and his face beamed in smiles.
“You came”
Mercury folded her hands.
“Come on join me”
“It’s cold…I’m not going in”
Clark chuckles.
“What’s funny?”
“This actually remind me of six years ago…I must say you haven’t changed the that much”
Mercury clears her throat.
“I’m still not going in it”
“Alright…I’ll come you since I called you anyway” he got out of the water and goes to her.
“Why did you call me here?”
“To swim with me” he carried her abruptly and went into the water with her.
“Hey! I told you it’s cold!” She yelled trying to hit him.
Clark got hold of her hand.
“Why are you so angry with me?”
“I never said I was” she snapped
Clark remembers when they first came there during the trip.
Right in the water also.
He was asking her the same question and she was being adamant on telling her what it is.
He chuckles.
“Just what is your deal with her?”
“Who? Ivy?”
Mercury rolled her eyes.
“Is this because of her? Seriously Mec…she’s just a friend…sister family and my colleague…nothing else”
“Yeah…and it’s obvious she likes you”
“Of course she should we’ve been together for years now and practically do everything together…I really like her a lot”
“I’m sure the way she likes you is a lot more affectionate than you do” she folded her arms.
“We’re both affectionate to each other”
“Ugh! What a blind Bathemeus you are” she hits her forehead.
“I’m sure she’s in_” she stopped.
“Forget it…it isn’t my business anyway…you two just continue doing your thing and I’ll continue mine”
“Ivy is a good person…you’ll come to know that when you become more close to her trust me”
“I’m out of here” she turns leaving but he embraces her.
“I don’t know what I did that’s making you angry since yesterday but I apologize for whatever it is…you shouldn’t do this to me Mine…it hurts to see you act unconcern”
“Come on Mine” he said again when she wouldn’t say anything.
Mercury sighs and put her hands on his which was wrapped around her waist.
Clark make her face him.
“I love you Mine” he whispers and pull her into a hug.
“I miss you Clark…?” She said inaudibly
Disengaging he place his lips softly on hers and she opens up giving him the entrance he needed.
