CHAPTER 45
SPAIN.
Carly stood at the edge of the ocean.
The cold breeze fan her hair.
Her silky white short gown dance around with the wave.
She smiles.
After all she’s been through…who knew she could finally settle down.
It’s still a miracle to her.
“Young lady…what are you doing out here in the cold?”
She held Olive’s voice and turns back at him.
“Young man…why are you out here in the cold?”
“I’m looking for my wife…do you perhaps see her?
“Your wife? I haven’t”
“Really….she suddenly disappeared from my side on the bed…when I woke up I couldn’t find her”
“Maybe she ran away”
“You think so? By the way young lady…you’re so beautiful…since my wife ran away why don’t you just become mine?”
“Will you be my wife?” He said stepping closer to her.
“Get lost…I have a husband already” she pushed him away lightly.
“Well tell your husband to back off…course I want you” he pulled her closer by the waist.
Her hand land on his chest.
“Snatching another man’s wife?”
“What do you think?” He kissed her forehead and Carly closed her eyes.
His lips stayed there for some seconds before finally withdrawing.
“Thank you Olive…for everything” she held unto his shirt pulling him down.
She stepped on her toes and kiss him.
“Dance for me” Olive said and she smiles.
She stepped back Olive played a song on his phone.
She started dancing.
Her dress moves freely together with her.
Olive stood watching…the smile wouldn’t leave his face.
Who knew a day like this will happen.
He never thought he’d eventually get married to her.
He didn’t even think he had a chance of dating her.
And even if he had, it shattered the moment he saw her kissing his friend.
He was broken.
He has never been in love and Carly is obviously the first girl he’ll ever liked.
For months he didn’t talk to her.
He was sure he’ll get over her if he stopped talking to her.
However he couldn’t take it when he saw her making new friends in college.
Especially guys…she kind of became popular among them.
She smiles at them.
Play with them.
Eat with them.
She seems to forget about her Romeo.
He felt mad and jealous and started a rumor that they’re going out.
This seems to help him as it got them talking to each other again.
And gradually they became closer than before.
He never agreed to be her friend whenever she ask him to.
“What is our relationship then if you don’t wanna be my friend?” She asked him that night.
“Our relationship is this” he kissed her.
Surely she was shocked and surprise.
She has always have a crush on him…well that she discovered after the kiss with Clark.
But then he wouldn’t talk to her or look at her anymore.
She has always missed him.
But she couldn’t get close cause she was afraid she might be rejected.
Olive is quite unpredictable.
When the rumors got out she didn’t bother to deny it.
She only smiles to herself.
And that made them got closer again…more than before.
“I know you’re my Romeo but…I still think we should still be friends”
“I told you several times I don’t wanna be your friend”
“If you aren’t my friend then what does that makes us?”
“I’m confused…what is our relationship then if you don’t wanna be my friend?”
“Our relationship is this” he replied suddenly kissing her.
And so their love begins.
Still dancing…Olive dropped his phone and runs to her carrying her in the process.
He twirl her around and she spread her hands widely on the air closing her eyes as the breeze hit her softly.
She wouldn’t stop smiling.
Finally…she’s happy.
She looks down at Olive who is still carrying her.
He smiles at her.
The music ended and she wraps her arms around him.
“You’re beautiful” he mutters and she smiles.
He let her down and envelop her in his arms.

“WOWWWWWW!! This is damn great!!!” Candy shouted as Danny increase the speed of the motorcycle.
“Hey! Hey!! Slow down!”
“What do you say?!”
“Slow down you freak!!!”
Danny pretended not to hear her and continue riding in high speed.
Candy held unto him tightly.
“Trust me Dan you’re crazy!!”
MINUTES LATER.
Danny Pat her back as she threw up.
“Ugh! You dirty girl” he gave her water.
she wash her mouth and spat the water on him.
“Hey are you crazy?!”
“You’re the one crazy!” She spat at him and head to the motorcycle.
She sat on it and wore the helmet.
“Hey what’re you doing?”
“I’m riding it…I won’t let you kill me at 22” she throw the other helmet at him which he caught.
“Sit or I’m gonna leave you here” she starts the engine and Danny scoffs before sitting.
“This is crazy” he mutters.
“Hold on tight darling…you don’t wanna fall off” Candy said and rode off.
“Go faster girl!” Danny yelled.
“This is all I can do” she yelled back.
“Just go a little more faster than this”
“Alright then but why aren’t you holding on? If you fall I won’t take responsibility” she put on more speed.
Danny put his hand around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder.
Her body reacted to his touch but she composed herself.
“This is crazy” she mutters to herself as she rode off.
“Wow…?” Candy gape looking at the place.
“This place is beautiful”
“Candy…you’re here” Mec went to meet her.
“Mec what is this place? It’s so beautiful”
“It’s one of the Morgan’s Vila…come on they’re waiting” she took her hand and head inside while Danny follows.
“Hi guys” candy waves on coming in.
“Clark…this place is awesome” she gave him a thumb up while Clark only nodded.
“Welcome miss candy…how was your trip here?” Ivy smiles.
“It was…okay?” She smiles back.
“Hi candy” kings greeted.
“Hi” she replied awkwardly.
Danny also comes in and greeted them all.
Clark and Mercury didn’t talk to each other but they do communicate with their eyes when no one is watching.
THE WATERFALL.
“How did you guys find this place? It’s so…colorful, flowery and beautiful” candy giggle.
She has never stop talking and complimenting how beautiful the place is.
Everywhere she goes…everything she sees is beautiful.
She’s currently in the water with Mec and Ivy.
“You’re right? It’s beautiful…I kind of miss this place…the last time I came here was when we came on our school trip”
“That was ages ago…Ivy have you been here before?”
“Yeah…several times with the guys…sometimes Clark and i also came here to relax” she smiles
“Only the two of you?” Candy asked and she smiles.
“You two must be quite close…?”
“We are…much more than you think” she looks at Mercury who looks away.
“Why aren’t they coming? Girls should we take some pictures? I think that’ll be great” she grins taking out her phone.
She stays at the middle and took their pictures.
“Wow…so pretty” she giggles and posted the pictures immediately.
She started getting likes and comments immediately.
She’s really popular on social media.
She’s actually a social media freak.
She giggles at the comments she saw and totally focus on her phone not knowing when they guys arrived.
She looks up when she heard his voice.
“Whoa….?”
They were all shirtless.
Fucking hot.
Kings smiles at her while she just stares.
Her heart hammering in her chest.
They all got into the water and Mec splash some water on her making her snap out of it.
“You guys are soooo hot!” She grins.
“We brought drinks” Danny said showing them the wine in his hand.
AFTER A WHILE
“Cheers!” They all clink their glasses and drank their various wine.
“This feels so good”
“Clark are you two okay now…I noticed you hadn’t fight since earlier” Danny said.
“Do you want us to fight? If that’s what you want then she_”
“No no no…just continue like this…you shouldn’t ruin the fun”
“Yeah…let just go through today without any bickering from you guys” Ivy said beside Clark and Mec rolled her eyes where she was.
“Candy you have been on your phone since early?”
“Ah…you guys should see this…people are going crazy over the pictures I posted earlier” she showed them the comments.
“La hot ladies” Danny read the comments.
“sexy and hot” kings also read.
“MJ is a killer”
“Who is that pretty lady with them?”
“Candie you’re PHAT”
“I wanna touch those boobs”
“Cute and sexy”

“Candy you’re PHAT? what’s the meaning of that?” Danny asked.
“Pretty hot and tempting” she flicked her hair.
“You’re being deceived” Danny replied.
“Why? I think it’s true” kings said and candy couldn’t help blushing.
“Kings you find me tempting?”
“I told you the other day…you’re beautiful” kings said again and her face flushed red.
“Ohhh…get rid of that!” Danny splash water on her face.
“Hey!” She yelled at him.
“You two don’t you flirt in front of me” he pointed at them.
“What if we do? It’s none of your concern” she went closer to kings and link hands with him.
Seems like the awkwardness has disappeared.
“Kings wanna know something? She is a dirty freak…this morning when I went to her house…her apartment was mes_”
“Hey shut it” she cover his mouth with her palm and smiles at kings.
“Don’t mind him…he’s just being an idiot”
Danny slipped his hand around his waist drawing her closer and she gasp looking at him.
Once again her body reacted to his touch.
She withdrew her hand from his mouth just to find him smiling showing off his cute dimples.
Before she knew it kings dragged her away from him and she’s face with his cute face now.
“Why did you run away like that that day?” He asked staring directly at her.
She got goosebumps with hand on her wrist.
Is she finally going crazy?
For these two guys.
Clark and Ivy giggles as they discussed something among themselves.
Mercury won’t stop stealing glances at them.
He looks happy.
She thought.
“Hey guys let’s all take a pic also” Danny said drawing all their attention.
Kings slowly left candy and she let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
“It’s hot” she mutters fanning herself.
They all gathered.
Candy, Ivy and Mercury stood at the front while the guys stayed at their back.
Danny set the camera before joining them.
Clark slipped his hand and held Mercury’s without anyone knowing.
All smiling they took the picture and many more.
BACK AT THE VILA.
“Cheers!!” They all clink their glasses.
“I miss Olive…why aren’t they coming back?”
“I wonder…it’s taking them long” Ivy chipped in.
“Leave the newly weds alone…it’s their time they should enjoy it” Clark said.
“Leo isn’t here also…our group isn’t complete yet” kings said.
“Mercury when is he coming back?” He asked.
“Maybe…next week”
“You don’t sound sure…as his fiancee you seems clueless” Ivy said and Mercury just drink.
She’s really getting annoyed with this Ivy of a girl.
And it seems Clark didn’t tell her the kind of person she is.
“Time really flies doesn’t it? I can still remember when we came here in high school…you guys always bicker every minute” Danny said.
“Yeah…for people who’re engaged to each other you’re always at each other’s neck that I wondered how you’ll cope with each other after marriage” Kings said also.
“They fight all the time?” Candy asked.
“Don’t get me started…every minute they see each other it’s war”
“Then it’s a love hate relationship then”
“Actually I could feel some connection between them then…it’s such a pity that happened…you two could have made such a cute crazy couple”
“They can still make it…right Clark?”
“Oh candy dear…that was a long time ago…people change…and I’m sure everyone of them did…and also she’s together with Leo now…whatever they might felt together then whether love or hatred is all in the past now…” Ivy smiles.
“How are you so sure it’s in the past? Faye has its way of doing things you know”
“Yeah…exactly why she’s getting married to Leo soon. See isn’t it ironic? She was engaged to Clark before but it didn’t work out and now…she’s engaged his best friend Leo…dear now that’s fate” Ivy replied again smiling.
Candy was about saying something but Mercury stop her.
Candy kept quiet glaring at Ivy who just smiles at her.
Mercury took another can when she finished the one she was drinking.
She tried opening it but it was proving stubborn.
“Let me help you with that” kings offered but she declines.
“I’ll do it” she tried opening it and after trying for sometime it eventually opens.
The moment it does the the splashes over Ivy.
“Oh my..” She gasp.
“Ha!” Mercury wince as she got a cut from it.
“Are you okay Ivy?” Clark got some tissue and start cleaning her body.
“You should have been careful Mec…look at her clothes” Clark scolded.
“It’s okay Clark…I’ll just change…it’s okay Miss MJ” Ivy smiles at her and candy scoffs.
Ivy excuse them and Clark looks at Mec.
“Oh my you’re bleeding” Danny held her hand.
“I’ll take care of it…?” She also stood up and excuse them.
“Argh! I’m going for some fresh air” candy stand up and also leaves.
Clark sighs and rub his forehead in frustration.
Candy smiles as the cold air hit her.
“This is so refreshing”
She sat on the floor crossing her legs.
“I don’t know why they’re keeping it a secret…that Ivy girl is so annoying” she mutters to herself.
“Hey” she heard a voice and looks back.
“Hey” she smiles and kings sat beside her.
He gave her a drink.
“Thanks” she was about opening it when kings collected it from her.
“Let me do that…I don’t want what happened earlier to repeat itself” he opens it and give it to her.
“You’re really a cute guy” she smiles.
SOMEWHERE IN THE VILLA.
“Hey Dan”
“Why are you here all alone?”
“I was about heading in”
“You know…when you left Clark was really devastated…he got sick for days after coming back from your house”
“From my house?”
“Uh? Apparently he went to your house that morning but when he got there he was too late cause you guys have already taken off. He ran after the car shouting your name. I was there cause I followed him. He wept a lot that day Mercury. If he’s being mean to you I can understand it. It’s because he loves you too much…he loves you too much that it hurts him. You coming back engage with Leo is another thing entirely. I can still see it Mercury…that he still love you. Despite all these years ” he paused and Mercury just keep quiet.
“You know I can’t blame Ivy if she’s being like that to you. When you weren’t there she was the one nursing Clark’s wounded heart. She really tried a lot for him..when he was going through that illness…Ivy made sure…she’s there with him to overcome it”
“She was there for him just like Leo was there for you…but Mercury even though you’ve hurt him a lot I would like it if you can make things right. Clark has went through a lot and I feel like you’re the only one who could understand him. Whatever he may be doing to you now…no matter how mean he maybe…I want you to just…stay by his side…I hope what you couldn’t do then…you could do it now…?” He said and Mercury just stayed silent.
Probably lost in her own thought.
Candy gulp down the forth drink and sighs.
“I think you’ve had enough…we should head back inside now” Kings said.
She shakes her head like a baby and whined.
“I don’t wanna go inside….don’t make me…?” She pout her lips cute and Kings smiles.
He brought out a cupcake hat from his pocket a d wear it on her.
“It’s cold…keep this on”
“Did you get this for me?” She grins.
“I got it for Mercury and Ivy too and I’ve given them”
“But you did think of me…ohhh Kings you’re so damn cute I swear…?” She draws both his cheeks.
“Hey…that…that hurts…let go please…?”
“Kiss me and I’ll let go…?”
Kings held her wrist and tries to get her hand off but she won’t let go.
“Candy you’re drunk…?”
“I am drunk…?” She giggles like a baby and cup his face now.
“Will you be my boyfriend Kings…?”
“I_” he didn’t complete his statement when she smashed her lips with his.
Kings eyes literally pop out of its socket.
She smiles into the kiss before finally falling into his arms in a deep slumber.
Kings carry her in his arms to her room and on the way he met Danny who was dancing to the room humming a song.
He stopped when he saw them.
“What happened to her?” He raised his eyebrow.
Candy murmurs some incoherent words then giggles.
“Ohhh…she’s wasted…tsk tsk tsk…deal with it” he said again and went to his room.
Kings sighs and took her to her room.
NEXT DAY.
Candy smiles opening her eyes.
Yesterday night was just a wonderful one for her.
She drank with kings and they talked.
Her eyes caught the cupcake hat on the bed and her grin grew widely.
It wasn’t a dream after all…then that means…the kiss.
“Owww…?” She hit her legs on the bed rolling from one side to the other.
“Kings and I kissed….we kissed”
LATER.
“Hey guys” she smiles joining the guys.
“You’re finally awake…?”
“Why didn’t you guys woke me up?”
“I made some hangover soup for you”
“Thanks Ivy” she smiles and Ivy went to serve him.
She scoop it in.
“But where are the guys”
“In the other room…they’re playing games” Ivy replied and candy mouth and ‘oh’
“Candy babe…you look quite happy this morning…did something happened?” Mec asked and candy chuckles.
“I’ll gist you later”
“Thanks for the soup miss Ivy”
“Call me Ivy”
“Call me candy”
“Fair enough” they both chuckles.
“What are you girls doing?” Danny asked taking a sit beside candy.
“Hi Danny…?” Candy smiles.
“Hi Clark…Hi…kings” she smiles at him.
“Hi you too candy…why are you blushing?” Danny asked.
“I’m not…it’s just kinda hot” she touch her cheeks.
Danny place his palm on her forehead.
“I think she’s still drunk…he candy…go back to sleep”
“I’m not drunk…?” She slap his hand away and breath out.
“Am I the only one who thinks she’s acting strangely?”
“Just leave her alone Dan…find someone else to pick on” Mercury said and he shrugged.
“How are you feeling?” Kings asked her
“Better…?” She wouldn’t stop smiling and Danny eyed her suspiciously.
Mercury looks at clark just to find him already looking at her.
She looks away immediately.
“But guys…aren’t you perceiving something?” Danny asked sniffing around.
“You’re kinda right…it’s been smelling since earlier” Ivy replied.
Danny sniff around sniffing everybody in the process.
“I have a sharp nose…I’m sure something is…?” He stopped when he sniff candy.
“Here it is…the one who stinks”
“I don’t stink” she smell herself.
“Let me guess…you didn’t take your bath only wash your face and change your clothes right?” Mercury said.
“No that’s not true…I…?” She looks at Kings who was already looking at her.
“Whatever…?” She stood up and storm to her room.
“How dirty…?” Danny grimace.
