NEXT DAY.
Clark sat in room staring at nothing.
The guys has done all they could to cheer him up and he managed to smile a little.
He has been waiting for Mercury but she hasn’t arrived yet.
Is she gone?
Has she really left him? The thought clouded his mind.
When he couldn’t take it any longer he stood up and head outside.
OUTSIDE.
Mercury sat at the terrace of the house staring into space.
She is lost in thought and didn’t realize someone was before her.
“Hey!” Olive snap his fingers and she came to her senses.
“What are you doing here not coming in?” He asked and she looks away.
“Nothing…?” She mutters.
Olive sighs and sat beside her.
“You know I’ve been observing you since yesterday…you seem moody and lost in thought everytime…is something wrong?”
“It’s nothing…I’m fine”
“Don’t bullshit me…look cheering Clark up is one thing…you shouldn’t add your own…if you have a problem share…aren’t we friends? We’re here fot you you know”
“Olive you won’t understand…?”
“Then make me do …tell me what’s happening with you…this is unlike you…Clark needs you now you shouldn’t be like this also”
“I’m leaving…?”
“You’re leaving? Why did you came then? You didn’t even go in and now you’re leaving?”
“My parents are making me leave”
“What do you mean? Leave to where?”
“They don’t want me to stay here anymore…they’re making me leave the country Olive…?”
“You’re leaving? You’re leaving us?”
“I begged them…pleaded did all I can but…they are so determined…I couldn’t win them…they won’t let me stay”
“This is nonsense! How could they do that? What about Clark? You can’t leave him now”
“They don’t care…?”
Olive sighs.
“When are you leaving?”
“Tomorrow”
“Tomorrow?!”
“Tomorrow…?” Clark who has been eavesdropping on their conversation mutters.
She’s leaving tomorrow…after all she’s leaving him too.
She’s just like others.
They’re all so mean to him.
Why?
He left there with anger crushing over him.
“Olive I really don’t wanna leave…I don’t wanna leave you guys…but…?” She shakes his head as tears stream down her face.
Olive hugs her.
“Let’s go Mercury…you have to tell others…you have to tell Clark” he said and she shakes her head in disagreement.
“You have to…they have to know…the sooner…the better..you’re leaving tomorrow” he wipe her tears.
“Come on…let’s go…?”
Clark entered the sitting room a lot of thought running through his mind.
He doesn’t deserve all these.
They all have no right to treat him like this.
They’re all so mean.
He felt shattered.
If they’re all gonna leave him, he doesn’t care now.
They can all leave.
She can leave.
“Clark are you okay? What’s wrong?” Carly asked as she walks to him.
He said nothing just clenching his fists.
“Clark…?” Carly called again.
They head some footsteps and look towards the direction it’s coming from.
“Oh…Mercury is here…” she said about to go and meet them but Clark held her back.
“What is it Clark? Do you need anything?” She asked.
Clark looks at her for a while before holding her face and smashing his lips on her.
Olive and Mercury came in the same time and saw them.
The two froze at the scene before them.
Leo, Danny and kings came in too and was flabbergasted at what they are seeing.
Clark finally unlock she looks at Carly who had this confused expression.
He looks at Mercury and gave her the ‘I don’t care’ look before leaving to his room.
Mercury rushed out of the house and Leo ran after her.
“Ohhh….it’s hot….?” Kings said.
“Right…it’s hot in here…I’m gonna take a stroll” Danny said also leaving.
“Take me along” kings ran after him leaving only Olive and Carly there.
Olive stood there looking at her with both hurt and anger.
Carly won’t stop looking either.
Seconds later he broke his gaze away from her.
Carly opens her mouth to say something but then close it back as she couldn’t think of what to say.
Somehow…she felt she has hurt him.
But why?
Why would she feels sorry?
Why does she feel like she just betrayed him.
Why does he look so hurt?
Olive step back and turns to leave.
“Ol…?” She wanted to call after him but stops herself.
She just watch him…as he leaves.
She doesn’t know what’s wrong with her…why she feels like running after him and explain things to him Clearly that Clark kissed her out of the blue.
She doesn’t know why she feels hurt for seeing the hurt in his eyes but…?
All she knows is that…Clark needs her.
She has to be there for him.
Right now…she has to be by his side
She turns and make her way to his room.
Leo hugged her as she cries on his chest.
“Stop crying Uranus…I don’t like seeing you like this”
“I’m sorry Leo…I just…?” She sniffs as she disengaged from the hug.
Leo held and face wiping her tears.
He leans closer and was about kissing her but she moves her face away.
He sighs.
“I’m…I’m sorry Ura…I just_”
“I’m leaving Leo…my parents are taking me out of the country…I came here today to tell you guys that” she interrupted him.
“You’re leaving? What do you mean?”
“Huh? Tomorrow…you probably won’t see me for years…we may never even meet again…?”
“Ura that’s…?”
“Leo…I know this is shameless of me but…can you help me tell the guys…I don’t think I can…meet them anymore…I don’t know how to say it to them…I’m so sorry…?”
“You…you can’t do this Uranus…you can’t do this to us you can’t do this to me…?”
“Leo…I’ll miss you…I’ll miss you all…I’m…sorry…?” She said and ran out of there.
Leo just stood there trying to comprehend everything she just said.
“She’s leaving…?”
His Uranus is leaving…?
NEXT MORNING.
Mercury packed her luggage.
She sighs looking at her room.
She’ll miss it.
She looks at her desk and took a picture frame…a picture of them all.
She’ll miss them.
She looks at the other picture.
The one of her and Clark in the water.
The scene of him kissing Carly replays in her head.
“Mars darling are you ready?!” She heard her mother’s voice.
She dropped the pictures and wipe the little tear that escape her eyes earlier.
“Goodbye…?” She mutters and took her luggage downstairs.
“You’re looking pretty my daughter…?” Her mother was about stroking her hair but she moves away.
“I’m done packing” she said nonchalantly.
“Let’s go” her father said and they all head outside.
Mercury stood outside looking at their majestic house.
She’s really leaving.
She’ll miss this house…her room…her friends…her life…?
“What are you doing not getting in?” Her father asked bringing her out of her reverie.
“I don’t want to go Dad…?” She mutters to him.
“Get in” her father said getting in the car.
The car drove out of the compound and Clark ran faster chasing after it.
“WAIT! WAIT!! MERCURY!!” He shouted running after the car.
Mercury sighs as her father drove off from their estate.
She’s really leaving…she won’t really see them again.
She won’t see him again…?
She rested her back on the car seat and closed her eyes.
“I SAID WAIT! MERCURY! MERCURY!!”
Mrs Jordan looks outside the car window and her eyes caught something on the rear glass.
“Honey…?” She mutters and signal to him to look at the rear window also.
He looks back and saw Clark running after them.
He looks at his wife.
His wife looks at Mercury who had her eyes shut.
Mr Jordan put on more speed and drove out of there.
Clark couldn’t eventually catch up and stop when he ran out of breathe panting loudly.
“You said you wouldn’t leave…you said you’ll stay by my side…you promised not to go anywhere…Mercury…?” He drop to his knees as he wept bitterly.
Another person he cherish a lot has left him.
His fiancee has left him too.
His planet girl….is gone…?
“MERCURY!!!” He yelled in pain.
