Kelvin’s POV
I stood and watched as that bastard Rick c@m£ in with the cops.
God saved him that his with the cops or I could have roasted hisfu-ck*ng as-s.
“Officers, what can I do for you? Be quic-k with it” I said to them when they have gotten closer to us.
My eyes was fixed on Rick. What the bastard did kept coming back. How he poison her?
There have been a complaint made regarding you Mr. Lewis with solid prove so you’ll have to come with us to the station for the time being.
“Complaint? I don’t un-derstand” I asked and scoffed.
Dennis and his girlfriend Bella c@m£ closer to listen to us.
“Um..we heard that you are involved into illegal dealings which involves woman trafficking and there is also a solid prove to back it up” the one that seems like the head spoke.
“Excuse me, what the hell are you talking about?” Dennis cut in.
My eyes went to Rick and he was smiling like a crazed person. How I wish I could just kill him right at that sp©t.
“He is not the one officer, you’re mistaking” Dennis defended trying to bring out his ID but I st©pped him.
“I’ll handle it” I cut in and he st©pped and looked at me.
“You can go wait outside, I’ll be with you shortly” I said to them and they reluctantly left.
“Kelvin what…” Dennis tried saying but I cut him off again.
“Can you leave the both of us plea-se?” I demanded and he shut his mouth and left with Bella.
I turned to Mabel and held her.
“You want me to do what’s right yea?” I asked but she bent her head unable to answer.
“Mabel” I called again but heard her sniffing.
“Hey, don’t cry. Its just a bad timing okay” i coed and raised her head to stare at me.
“I won’t deny any of it. I’ll gladly agree to all their charges” I said but she shook her head negatively and held my arms.
“No. You can’t do that, don’t leave me plea-se” she cried.
“I’m sorry, but I’ve gat to serve my punishment for all the wrongs I did” I spoke.
“No, no. No Kelvin what am I gonna do with our baby? If you go to jail how I’m I gonna raise our baby alone? plea-se just deny everything find a way to…”
“Shh…”I shushed cutting her off.
“This is the right thing to do and but I promise to get out soon” I said.
“No, plea-se no” she cried ha-rder and embr@ced me.
“I can’t do without you kel. plea-se just deny everything and let’s just run away to Europe, to Asia, to a far away county where they won’t be able to get you alright” she insisted.
“No, do you want our future children to know that I did wrong and ran away, I didn’t face my wrongs and right it?” I asked but her tears only increa-sed.
“Hey, it’ll be over soon. I’ll see if I can be granted a bail or anything I won’t spend much time there I promise” I as-sured as I held her more ti-ghtly.
“Kelvin, I can’t just let you go. plea-se try to reconsider this before its…”
“Mab, plea-se don’t try to convince me again cause I might end up listening to you which I’ll later regret” I said drying her tears off her eyes.
I let go of her hand and she continued crying.
“If perhaps I’m not there to witness you giving birth plea-se name the child Alex, that is my brother’s second name” I smiled.
“And you no what to do. Go back to Chicago I’ll come find you when I’m out” I concluded the turned back and started approaching the door.
I got to the door and looked back at her.
“Take care of yourself” I added and went outside.
Mabel’s POV
My tears increa-sed as he left.
Oh no. I never thought of this.
“Kelvin” I muttered as Dennis and Bella appeared.
“plea-se tell me its not true” Dennis said looking at me.
“Kelvin…is a trafficker? Like he sells human?” Dennis asked in shock.
I palmed my face as I re-leased more tears.
I know its right but right now its wrong to me.
“I don’t want him taken away from me plea-se Dennis help get him out of there” I said gr-abbing his arm.
He lowered his head and scoffed.
“So, this was how he made a lot of money in a short time. He left home when he was eighteen and he returned a billionaire, so this was how?” He asked no one I p@rticular.
“And that was how he got you right? You two?” He asked starring at me and Bella.
“Yes Den” Bella replied looking at the floor.
He scoffed again and ruffed his hair.
“This is unbelievable. Why didn’t you guys tell me? How could you allow him do such a thing?” He asked sounding so disappointed.
His phone started ringing and he brou-ght it out and picked it.
“What??” He g@sped and looked at me.
What the hell happened? I thought as I stood on my feet.
The look on his face is scaring me.

Mabel’s POV
“He fainted?” Dennis asked.
“Alright I’ll be there” he replied to the caller and dropped the call.
“What’s happening?” I asked wi-de eyes.
“Kelvin’s father fainted, probably tho to shock” he answered.
I g@sped and placed my hand on my che-st as I starred at him.
“Where is he now? Did they tell you anything else?” I asked him.
“Well, he has been rushed to his pri-vate hospital. The news about Kelvin has gone viral and people are alre-ady talking about it as I heard, I nee-d to rush down to the hospital” he announced.
“Um…can I come with you?” I asked curiously.
“No, I can’t let you. Kelvin made it clear that you should take care of yourself and most importantly the baby. So if he hears that something terrible happened to you I don’t no what’ll he do.”
“But I know he’ll blame me for that so plea-se you two nee-d to stay safe and you too sweetheart” he referred to Bella in his last s£ntence.
“I think you two should just leave for Chicago then” he added but I nodded negatively.
“I’ll only leave once I know Kelvin’s case. I can’t leave without knowing the situation he got in” I cooed and he sighed.
“Babe, you take care of her? You can call me if anything goes wrong” he said to Bella and they k!$$£d for few minutes before he rushed out.
I sighed pathetically and sat down on the couch.
“This is really bad, really bad” I muttered to myself and closed my eyes leaning my back on the couch.
“Girlfriend, take it easy alright? At least for the baby if you start feeling sad the baby will also feel it” she tea-sed but I couldn’t laugh.
“It hasn’t even turned to a proper baby, we all seems to be forgetting that” I mumbled.
“Its alright. Lemme go get you some milk so you’ll keep shining for me at least” she tea-sed again and left for the kitchen.
Gosh. I can’t believe this is happening and today of all days. I was really happy that I was gonna see mom and my siblings again.
But I’ll still go. Lemme just see how everything goes, I thought.

Kelvin admitted bluntly to all the crimes but they weren’t committed here in Paris but back in Chicago. So they had to contact the commissioner for crimes and he gave his approval for the Paris government and officials to carry out their punishment on him because he didn’t deny any one of them.
Its quit shocking anyways.
Everywhere was filed with the news.
People just couldn’t believe it. My eyes are always fixed on television everyday to check up on him since no one was talking about it in here.
I even hear the maids whispering amongst themselves about it but when they see me coming they pretend to discuss something else.
Now today is his court hearing day. Today his judgement shall be pas-sed.
Kelvin’s father who got discharged from the hospital days back is doing everything in his power to make sure he is granted bails and less£n his punishment.
I walked out of the room to the sitting room to see Bella. She is ma-king sure I don’t go out of the house.
Dennis who was in charge of the case was trying all his best in preparation to win the case. He also told Bella to make sure I don’t show up in court.
But, I on the other hand I’m very desperate to know what will happen and today my nervousness and fear has doubled.
My heart was pounding against my che-st.
plea-se, let it go in our favour plea-se.
I know he did a lot of wrong doings but he was trying to correct it tho its really ha-rd for those that were sold like me.
Most of them most hate him real bad which I don’t blame them for, even I hated and feared him at first.
“Where are you going to?” Bella asked standing up from the couch.
“Bella, I nee-d to be there. The court hearing is gonna start very soon and I’m very anxious, I want to know what will happen. Just put your self in my shoes and un-derstand me.”
“That is my man and he is the father of my child. Bella plea-se nothing bad is gonna happen, I’m gonna stay strong plea-se let me just go to his court hearing.”
“Allow me plea-se” I pleaded and she sighed.
“They both won’t like it. Kelvin and Dennis” she mouthed.
“I know, but we are friends right? Put yourself in my shoes.”
“I can even faint here due to anxiousness, nothing bad will happen I promise” I pleaded and she sighed.
“Dennis will get mad but let’s go, I will go with you” she agreed.
“Ah, thanks babe. I won’t forget this favour” I f0rç£d a smile as we both left the house in one of Kelvin’s car.
We got out but met with traffic on the way.
Geez. How could this be at this time?
Gosh.
We stayed in the traffic for a very long time before finally getting to the court.
We c@m£ down and I rushed to enter but wasn’t allowed.
How could I be allowed when its has started long ago?
I fixed my f!ngersinto my mouth b!tt!g on my nails.
I paced throu-gh and fro not minding the glare from the cops around.
Who cares about them? They are not even my concern.
The voices from inside the court room bec@m£ louder as everyone in there seems to start talking.
The noise went down and the door opened.
My heart skipped as I saw Kelvin been led out by some cops.
Without hesitation I ran and wanted to hvg him but wasn’t allowed.
“Kelvin” I called alre-ady in tears.
Its being days since I last saw him.
“Hey” he cooed and said something to them ma-king them wait.
I stood in front of him preventing myself from trying to hvg him again.
“Go back to Chicago okay. I’ll come get you soon, I love you” he said starring directly into my eyes and they started taking him away.
“I love you too” I muttered crouching to the floor.
Oh my! This is the very first time we said this to our selves, the very first time.
