“What did you say! The… welder said he won’t come?!” Mrs Morgan seethed.
“Yes, mum” Celia replied, calmly.
“And why! Why not!!” She shook her head, aggressively.
“Wait. What about the students’ parents. Are they here?”
“No. Nobody came. No one at all” Celia replied.
Mrs Morgan wide-ned her eyes.
“You sure? No one came? Not even a single soul”
“Judging from the silence, Yes… No soul came”
“This is bad! My plans are ruined! Fu-ck!! But why? Why aren’t they coming? What’s happening! They were the ones screaming and begging for their students whereabouts yesterday! What suddenly changed their mind!”
“I wish I knew…”
Mrs Morgan gr-unted out of frustration.
“Do something about the gate! Break it! Take it down! Bring all the zombies to take it down! Just do something!!”
“Mum? Don’t you have a spare key?”
Mrs Morgan Gr0-ned and quickly held Celia’s ne-ck ti-ghtly, choking her. Celia coughed, feeling Mrs Morgan hand around her ne-ck, ti-ghtened.
“If I had a spare, do you think I would be here, joking around!” She hollered at her. Celia could only shake her head.
Mrs Morgan left her ne-ck and held the desk. Her eyes ran on it, carelessly while her mind was in thoughts.
“What the hell happened? Why did all of them suddenly change their mind? I ain’t even receiving any calls or messages like I did yesterday! Fu-ck!! What’s going on!!” Mrs Morgan shouted, in rage.

“So, Jake… Where is Mabel?” Vera asked.
“Mabel? I told you before. Nora left with her. Or, should I say, Mabel left with Nora” Jake answered
“You both are confusing me! I asked Nora and she told me,, Mabel was with you!”
“What? Me? Hey, Nora?” Jake called.
Nora swallowed nothing down her throat and raised her eyes to him.
“What the hell is Vera asking me? Mabel? Didn’t she leave with you?”
Nora only shook her head, which was a disagreement to his statement.
“The Fu-ck! I clearly saw Mabel and you running at the other opposite side i followed. Where is she? Where is Mabel?” He grabbed her collar.
Nora sobbed, and Vera quickly slapped his hand away.
“I won’t watch you do that to her! She said Mabel followed you. Where’s she!”
“And I said she didn’t!!”
“Jake… It’s okay” Tessa held his hand.
She looked at Vera.
“If you don’t believe him. It’s fine…”
“So, you think Nora is lying? You are behaving like this cause he’s your boyfriend?”
“Yeah. Like how you believe Nora,, cause she’s your friend” Tessa said, fiercely and Vera scoffed.
“No matter the situation, Nora wouldn’t leave Mabel. She wouldn’t lie”
“And no matter the situation, Jake wouldn’t leave Mabel,,, neither would he lie”
Vera turned to Lucas who was asking her to calm down. She ignored him and faced Tessa and Jake.
“Say whatever you want! What I know is that,, Jake is lying!”
Renee scoffed so loud that everyone faced her.
“What’s with you and that obnoxious scoff?” Vera eyed her.
Renee had a strict look on her face. Of course, she always had that cold and stern look on her face.
“I heard and saw everything” Renee said.
Nora looked at her, wondering where she knew her from.
“I was the girl, at the next cl@$$. I also peeped from the door hole and saw everything, Nora” She stressed the last word.
“Yes, you mentioned that. So,,, what did you see? and what did you hear?” Vera asked.
“Nora left the door,,, while holding it cause she was tired, blah blah blah, sh!t!!,,, Meanwhile,,, Mabel was looking for a way to break down the bulb”
“No, Nora… told me Mabel was the one who left the door” Vera shook her head.
“You even lied about that? Why aren’t you even sorry for her?” Renee asked.
Nora squee-zed her face ti-ghtly, trying to hold her tears.
“Nora. Tell me she’s lying. Tell me, It was Mabel who left the door” Vera said, facing her.
Nora finally cried out.
“Why are you crying! You shouldn’t be crying! You should be defending yourself!!” Vera yelled.
Lucas went up to Vera and held her close.
“Just calm down” He whispered to her.
“But she isn’t denying it. Are there still more lies?” Vera was crying now.
“Yes,,, sorry to break your heart” Renee said.
“Whats more?…Tell me” Vera said.
“Mabel grabbed Nora’s arm and fleed outside. She helped Nora twice but you wanna know what Nora asked her later on?”
Everyone looked at Renee.
“She asked if she was scratched!”
Doris swallowed ha-rd at this statement, Renee made.
“And at that time, a zombie told advantage by clinging onto her”
Nora let out a loud cry.
“Mabel begged for her help…while struggling. You wanna know what Nora said?? She said,,, ‘you caused it yourself!’ And that was how she left, and all zombies around to feast on poor crying Mabel!”
“Nora??” Many yelled, looking at her who was now shaking and crying.
Vera shook her head, and turned to her.
“No,,, right. Tell me, its not true… Please!” She said, crying and shaking Nora’s body vigorously.
“How could you? She was our friend! How could you? Despite all she did to help you? If she knew, she wouldn’t have helped you, and then, you would be dead, you wicked human!!”
“I know my character was unstated for but I had no choice! I was scared and had to survive too!”
“Shut up! It’s not an excuse! No matter what you say, it’s your Fu-cking fault!” Karl shouted, and pushed her down.
“The poor girl couldn’t even have her revenge! As if, losing Mason wasn’t enough? She lost herself too? Don’t you have any empathy at all!” Karl yelled, grabbing her collar and raising her up on her feet.
Nora sniffed. Before, she knew it, Vera landed a hot and sounding slap. Her face moved to the other sound, due to the effect.
“Leave! I don’t wanna see your face! How could you? How! How! Leave and become like Mabel! You deserve to join her! Imagine her being alone, oh goodness!!” Vera shouted.
Nora didn’t say anything. She looked at everyone and they were all glaring at her. She scoffed, and tucked her hair at the back of her hair.
“Yeah,,, I deserve it but Mabel also deserves it too!!” She finally yelled.
“Hey!! Just leave!” Connor said, quickly.
“We don’t wanna see your face!” Karl said.
“Yeah, It makes us,,, want to puke!” Jake added.
“You even lied on Jake? How pathetic!” Tessa said.
“And you aren’t even sorry?” Doris muttered.
Nora scoffed.
“Not a bit” She said, and went to the door. Opened it, and ran out.
Connor quickly closed it.
“That’s one friend you have there” Lilian shook her head.
“Will she be safe though?” Bianca whispered.
Miss Hannah sighed, and looked at all of them.
“Guys?” She called.
They all looked at her.
“Do you know what really makes a teacher,,, a teacher?” She asked.
No one answered. They all stared at her.
“Making her students safe. Caring for them like every parent would” She said.
“Wait… What are you implying now? Don’t… don’t tell me- Tessa paused, and shook her head.
“Nora…Yes, I nee-d to keep her safe. She feels sorry but just wanna act strong. Maybe, survival of the fittest, applies to her thinking. Love y’all and please, stay safe…my kids” She smiled.
“No…No…please, Miss Hannah!” Doris said.
“We nee-d you” Tessa sobbed.
“Don’t leave us here” Vera said, crying the more.
“We can’t do without you” Connor said.
“Yes ma’am,,,, please,, don’t go” Jake said.
“Please!” The others added.
Miss Hannah chuckled sadly.
“I still nee-d to leave. Bye and remember, i love you all”
And with that, she ran out, shutting the door. Most of them cried as they watched her leave.

“Damn,,, I’m really hungry” Kristen complained.
Lia only sighed.
“You alright?” Clef asked.
Lia nodded, with a small smile.
“Let’s all discuss about something. Maybe it would take our hunger and tiredness away” Lia suggested.
“Like what?” Kristen asked.
“Hmm… Like,,, why… why did you join the dark hunters? Let’s all state our reasons” Lia said.
Kristen looked down.
“We all have a reason for pa-rtaking on things and it’s sure we all have a reason for joining the dark hunters cartel” Lia said.
“So,, Lia. Why did you join? Let’s start from you” Clef said.
“Well,,, I joined because I wanted to be heartless” She said.
“What? Heartless? Why?” Kristen asked.
“Killers are heartless so I thought joining the DHC would allow my heart to be cold and ha-rd. I didn’t want to be weak”
“But,,, why all these?” Kristen asked.
“My father… He killed my mum! I was waiting for the day to kill him myself. But, I was too weak and soft hearted. I had to join what would strengthen me so that I would be able to slash my father with a sword, or hit him with my bullet without thinking twice. I wanted to avenge my mother wrongful death. Then, when that was happening, I was too scared and weak to do anything…” Lia expianed.
“Oh,, Lia… I’m really sorry” Kristen said and Lia for-ced a smile.
“Well, as for me,,, I joined cause I wanted to capture the vampire that attacked my mother. That vampire killed her. I couldn’t even do anything to save her but now,,, I’m ready” Kristen said.
“I can see that” Lia said, and Kristen nodded with a small smile.
“Clef? What about you? Why did you join?” Lia asked.
“I joined cause Tyga joined” Clef smiled.
“What? Cause Tyga joined? Why?” Lia asked.
“I like Tyga” Clef giggled.
Lia stared at him, somehow.
“I don’t un-derstand” She said.
“I and Tyga are dating. When Tyga said he wanted to join the DHC, I also applied cause I wanted to be my his side. Tyga joined cause he had always wanted to be a dark hunter since he watched movies about vampires. He just wanted to know if they were real then”
Kristen raised a brow.
“Wait? You are dating Tyga? That means you are g-ay?… While Lia has always been thinking you had feelings for her,,, wow… What a twist”
Lia scoffed and stood up. She suddenly mo-aned lowly and held her stomach. It was hurting again. She sat on the piano and it made a loud sound.
The zombies suddenly started growling loudly, hitting the door.
“What that now? Why did they suddenly start making this noise?” Kristen complained.
Lia tried her best to act better. She stood up from the piano and Clef walked to it.
“I think it happened when Lia sat on the piano. See, their voices have lowered, and they have stopped hitting the door” Clef said.
“That means- Kristen paused, and rammed her fin-gers on the piano and it made musical sounds.
The growling and Ban-ging on the door came again and it soon lowered. The zombies were just walking around the door now.
“Now,, I un-derstand” Clef said.
“The zombies become very active when sound is heard” Kristen said.

The others were all talking. Some were resting. Some were thinking of Miss Hannah who just left them. Some wondered why nobody was looking for them,, for examples,,, their parents, etc.
Or did they forget, they haven’t been home for hours now?
Vera was crying, and Lucas was consoling her.
Meanwhile, at a corner, the zombie hand which Renee had cut off with the hammer then,,, was wriggling and moving recklessly.
Lilian noticed something there, and walked closer to the corner. She bent down and took her face closer to the zombie hand to get a better view of what it could be.
