Miss Hannah quickly grabbed a crying Nora. She turned to her and pulled her hand away.
Luckily, there were no zombies around.
“What do you want!” Nora barked.
“You came to lecture me too?” She asked, shaking her head.
“This isn’t the time for lecture” Miss Hannah for-ced a sad smile.
“I came to make sure you are safe”
Nora laughed.
“Safe?- She paused, and laughed again.
“Tell me,,, How would you keep me safe? Oh,,,you are gonna use your weapon, the mop stick,, to fight for me. Ah,,, right. You left it in the cl@$$room so how are you gonna save me now? When the others were talking,,, you were silent so why come save me now!!”
“Nora, for crying out loud,,, be sober! Get back to your se-nses! I ignored you then cause you deserved everything they uttered, got that!”
Nora scoffed.
“I hate all of you! Each and everyone of you! Gosh,,, why did I have to come to this school! Just stay away from me” Nora said, walking away.
“And if you get bitten?” Miss Hannah asked.
“It’s none of your business! Besides, I’m just simply keeping my lonely friend,,, busy” She said.
Miss Hannah didn’t give up. She followed Nora who kept walking at the front.
Nora stopped and turned back.
“Can you please, stop following me? It’s really irksome!” She blurted.
“Oh,,, sorry to say but I’m gonna do what I want” Miss Hannah insisted.
Nora sighed, and nodded her head.
“Yeah… Yeah… Just do what you want”
She moved more and stopped. Her eyes had seen few zombies at the front. Her heart skipped and she muttered a “sh!t”
“I can see you are scared” Miss Hannah said, staring at the same zombies.
Nora swallowed ha-rd, with her body shivering vehemently. Tears were dropping down her eyes. She quickly turned to her.
“Listen,,, you just nee-d to get past them” Miss Hannah said.
“How?” Her voice quivered.
“You run quickly. I’ll try and stop them”
“Wh…at? How? How will you stop them?”
“Do you trust me?”
Nora looked down, and gasped,, allowing more tears flow down her eyes.
“Nora?” Miss Hannah called, and held her shoulder.
Nora raised her head.
“Please, trust me” Miss Hannah said.
Nora nodded.
Miss Hannah sighed de-eply, and her eyes became we-t. She looked and saw the zombies moving close to her.
“Nora, at the count of 3,,, No,, at the count of 4,,, Run into somewhere safe. Run really fast!”
“Wh…at? Miss Hannah… Pleee…aasee” Her voice was shaking so much.
“Do as I say!!”
Nora trembled and nodded.
“And as you run, never, never, I say never,, ever turn back.You got me??” Miss Hannah said, with her eyes now dropping down tears.
Nora cried loudly and nodded.
“Go…1,,, 2,,,3- She paused, and looked de-eply into Nora’s eyes.
“4!!!! Nora, Run, Run, Run!!!”
Nora turned, to the zombies. She ran throu-ghthem and as they were about grabbing her, Miss Hannah dived in, right behind her.
Of course, Nora wasn’t looking back but she was crying too much. Her eyes were pure red and her nose was damn too runny.
The zombies held onto Miss Hannah instead, and at once, they started feasting her. This made them busy, thereby leaving Nora.
When Nora noticed the difference in the atmosphere, she stopped running. She was quite afar but she would be able to see what was going on, in that distance.
Nora clenched her fist, trying to hold it from vibr@ting. She slowly turned back to see the zombies bi-ting and su-cking Miss Hannah who had tears running down her eyes.
“I told you not to look back” Miss Hannah said, with running tears, and a sad smile, despite the pain.
“No!! No!!! No!!!! Miss Hannah,,, Please,, No!!!” Nora kept on saying, with tears.
“Nora?!” Miss Hannah suddenly called
Nora turned back again.
“Let me say this quick, Do you wanna know why I said, I wanted to count to 4 instead of 3,,, I actually wanted to see your face for 4 more seconds, before you left. Who would have thought you would turn back to see me despite my warning. At least, I got to see your face for few more seconds”
Nora cried out loudly.
“Nora, Run…I’m fine” She smiled.
Nora swallowed ha-rd, and slowly turned to the front, before running away.
She finally opened a door, and entered. It was the chemistry laboratory.
She locked the door, and sat down, resting her back against the door.
“I’m sorry, Miss Hannah” She cried out so much, closing her eyes ti-ghtly, as she brou-ght her face to her thi-ghs.

“What is that?” Lilian muttered, as she brou-ght her face closer to the moving thing.
She opened her eyes wi-dely in shock after seeing a zombie looking hand moving slowly, and wriggling.
The hand had it usual ugliness, and dryness with red popping veins all over.
“What the- She paused, when the hand suddenly jumped up and held her mouth.
It pinched her upper and li-p together so ha-rd that she could ha-rdly pa-rt them away, in order to scream. It was as if it was telling her to shut up.
Since, she wasn’t facing the others, but rather at the corner, no one saw her.
She was just shaking her head, trying to remove it away, and her li-ps just managed to make soft mumbling sounds. She held the hand, and pulled it with her might.
No one heard anything. No one noticed.
She finally pulled away the grasping hand away, and threw it on the window.
The window broke and the hand flew away, throu-ghthe broken, open space, in the window.
The sound was so loud that everyone turned, but everyone could only see her back.
“You alright?” Bianca asked, softly.
Lilian tou-ched her mouth, and looked at her palm to see blood on it. Her body shook in fear immediately. She couldn’t even feel her mouth again. She was in severe pains right there.
“Hem me(Help me)!!” Her voice mumbled, inaudibly.
She turned to them and now, they were looking at her face.
Bianca screamed, and everyone gasped. They quickly stood up.
“The hell” Renee muttered.
“Wa hapuni (What’s happening)?” Lilian asked, looking around.
Tessa tou-ched her li-p, in demonstration.
“Your li-p,,, your mouth. It’s gone. It seemed someone to-re it off rou-ghly,,, or something”
“It’s really scary to look at. It’s so horrible and battered. What happened to you??” Laura asked.
“I…I…” She couldn’t talk anymore.
Suddenly, she felt her bones cracking.
“Fu-ck! She’s turning! She’s a zombie!!” Laura said.
“But how?… Was she bitten? Lilian,,, what happened??” Karl asked, as they all watched her face turn red, cause of the large veins traveling around.
“Arm yourselves!” Jake warned.
The room was where tools were kept so Jake took a spade. Karl took a matchet. Lucas took a sharp knife, while Connor quickly took a hammer laying around.
“Hey,,, that’s mine!” Renee snapped.
“Then,, let me borrow it for a few minutes?” He asked.
“Ufff!” She complained, rolling her small eyes.
Tessa also took the mopping stick.
“Calm down…Calm down, Lilian” She said.
Lilian growled, weakly. She opened her blood dripping, scattered, half taken mouth and rushed to Tessa.
Connor quickly pushed Tessa away, and she fell on top of his body. She looked at him and blinked.
“Thanks” She rushed her statement, and stood up.
Tessa glanced at Jake, and she noticed he was quite jealous.
Connor cleared his throat.
“You are welcome” He muttered.
Lilian who missed Tessa, smashed her on the door. She stood up, quickly and opened the lock.
“Fu-ck,,, No” Lucas said.
The zombies around, zoomed into the room, and everywhere almost became full of them.
“Guys!!! Run!!” Vera shouted, and everyone began running,, at the same direction.
They also used the weapons they had in defending themselves.
Karl was the front. He kept kicking the doors, trying to check for an empty, and safe room.
He finally saw one. A computer room.
“Here!!!” He screamed, with a gesture.
Tessa and Doris entered. Jake followed suite. Connor followed, then,, Renee. Laura entered, after her.
As Lucas was about to enter, he stopped.
“Vera…Where is Vera? Where did she suddenly go??… I thought she was in front of me!” He said, and quickly turned.
His eyes met a zombie p-ulling Vera hair, trying to make her come closer to it. Vera started yelling.
They were just a few steps away from him behind.
“Vera!” Connor tried, coming out.
Lucas stopped him.
“I’ll save her. Stay back”
“You had better,,, please” Connor said.
Lucas nodded.
“Then, we nee-d to shut the door till they are back” Renee suggested, and closed it.
“Lucas!!” Laura called, aloud.
Lucas smiled at her.
“I’ll be back”
Lucas quickly turned, and ran over.
He ran to Vera, and hurriedly, cut off her hair, thereby,, releasing her. He took her fallen hair from the ground and held it close. Now, Vera hair was now at shoulder’s length.
He grabbed her arm, and they started running away from them. The zombies were quite ha-rd to run from. They was stubborn too.
As one was about to grab Vera, Lucas pushed her away, and the zombie laid his hands on Lucas shoulder instead.
The zombie quickly bit his ne-ck and Lucas gr-unted.
He gave it an elbow hit, and looked in front of the scary zombie.
He quickly struck it with his knife, thrice.
“Lucas! What are you still doing? Come on!!” Vera shouted.
The zombie made a loud screeching sound before falling down, finally dead.
Lucas inhaled de-eply, and went to Vera. She didn’t even notice the bite on his ne-ck.
She sighed in relief and held his hand. They quickly walked to the door.
“My hair was the most precious thing I ever treasure but it’s alright,,, since it you,, and you even saved me” She smiled, and went in, after Renee opened the door
Lucas broke the hold from her hand, and closed the door.
“Lucas? Lucas? Lucas!! What are you doing? Come in!! Why are you still outside? Do you wanna get bitten?” She asked.
Lucas showed her the bite and she gasped. Everyone wide-ned their eyes.
“No!” Vera snapped
“You are lying! I refuse to belive!! Lucas, please,,, I can’t lose you… I beg you” Vera cried.
Lucas was crying as well.
“I’m sorry for not staying long with you. I’m thankful you still accepted me though.”
“Lucas?” Laura softly called.
“Please,, stay with us!” She suddenly yelled, in tears, Ban-ging the door, with her fist.
“I’m really sorry,,, everyone. I’m sorry, and i love you a lot,, sister. You should avenge mum’s death,, you know” He chuckled, softly.
“Why!!! Why You!” Laura Gr0-ned, falling to her feet.
Lucas gnashed his teeth, and closed his eyes ti-ghtly. He opened them and faced Vera who was trying to open the door. Though, Renee was holding her back.
“I love you so much, Vera and brother in law,,, I did save her,, right?”
Connor sniffed, trying to hold his tears. Some zombies came to Lucas, smelt him and walked away. He was pa-rt of them now so they couldn’t hurt him. All he nee-ded was to change, just like them.
“Leave this door at once and come in! Let help you! Nothing will happen to you, I promise. Lucas, just stay with me!! I’m begging you!!!” Vera shouted.
“I’m sorry” Lucas said, when he noticed his fin-gercracking. He was changing now. Veins were showing in his ne-ck now.
“Can I have this?” He for-ced a smile, showing Vera,, her hair which he had cut.
“Huh…” Vera pa-nted.
Lucas slowly wrapped the hair around his bitten ne-ck, which covered the veins.
“Lock the door” He said.
Renee sighed, and locked it.
He smiled sadly at Vera who was now shaking her head.
He turned to go.
“No!!! Lucas!!! No!!! Please…. Please!! No!!! Don’t you dare leave me! How dare you! How! Lucas!!! Why!! Please,,, I can’t leave without you! Don’t go! At least, not after you cut my hair like that! You can’t go like that! Never! Give me back my hair!!! Come back!!! Come back, Lucas!! I’m begging you!! Lucas! I love you so come back, Please! How do you expect me to lose you too!!! Ahhhh!!! Lucccccc@$$sssss!!!!!” She yelled, and tried to open the door.
Connor quickly held her so she kept jumping, and wriggling, trying to free herself. She kicked, punched and danced around, trying to open the door, while whimpering.
“No,,, Lucas!” She wailed out shooking her hair and body.
Laura sat on the floor, and stared blankly at space. She remembered when she told Lucas to die,, when she told him she would be happy if he died cause she hated the fact,, Dad loved him and hated her.
“I’ve been a bad sister. I’m sorry… Gosh,,, it hurts so much. I wasn’t serious about that, Lucas. Why did you leave? Oh…Lucas” She cried, so much,, holding her che-st ti-ghtly.
Everyone was so gloomy that day.
“I will always love you, Lucas. I promise” Vera sobbed, before fainting on Connor’s arms.
4 Hours Later**
“So, Renee? You wanna tell us who you really are? What category of supernatural you fall into?” Tessa asked, sitting on the computer desk.
Renee scanned, the different types of eyes staring at her and nodded.
“Sure” She smiled.
“So,, what are you?” Bianca suddenly asked, in her usual timid voice.
It was unusual for her to talk though. Certainly….
