Karl angrily bit his lower l-ip.
“And they are sure very corny”
Tessa sighed.
“It’s better we stay off their hook now till they are few hunters left. We all know some might retire very soon. Maybe when they are lesser,, we could all strike and attack, don’t you think?” She asked.
“I think she’s right” Connor said and everyone finally agreed.
“But once I see them,, I’m gonna sure I show them operation no mercy” Karl said.
“Yeah,, sure thing” Mabel said.

“Hope I didn’t take your time?” Tessa asked.
Doris shook her head and smiled. She held Tessa hand and inhaled dee-ply.
“By the way, where did you run off to?” She asked.
“What?” Tessa wi-dened her eyes.
“I forgot to ask you then cause I was excited so where did you-
“I forgot something in school so I had to run back” Tessa chuckled.
“Okay then” Doris nodded.
At Night**
Tessa looked at the ceiling in thought while on the be-d. She was actually thinking of the magical event that happened inside the cave.
“But why did I yell Jake’s name that way? I was even scared” She muttered.
“Then,, my heart was racing fast” She smiled and to-uched her che-st.
Her mind went to Connor. She remembered when she saw the face shifter ask him who he loved the most and when her own face popped out.
“Does it mean Connor likes me too?” She g@sped.
“Goodness,, why do they have to like me. I mean,, what’s with this unusual love triangle” She asked, bubbly flushing red.
*Who do you choose?* Her subconsciousness asked.
“I don’t know” She softly whispered and turned around to face Doris.
She closed her eyes and saw Connor. It was her imagination.
“Choose me cause I’m smart and cool” He wi-nked and blew an air ki-ss.
“Oh my. That scared me” Tessa shook her b©dy and quickly opened her eyes.
She quickly turned to Kristen side and closed her eyes really ti-ght.
Jake appeared in her imagination.
“Choose me cause I’m hot and irresistible” He made a big pout on his l-ips and blew an air ki-ss.
“Oww…Really!” Tessa snapped and jumped up. Kristen and Doris je-rked and quickly opened their eyes.
“What’s it, Tessa?” Doris asked.
“Is it a nightmare?” Kristen asked.
“Huh…Yes…Yes” Tessa for-ced a smile.
“Rest. You’ll be fine” Doris said, and quickly dozed off.
Kristen stared at her for a while before letting a loud sigh.
“So, you wanna talk about it?” She asked.
“Hmm…”
“Do you?”

“Cheers” Kristen raised her can beverage.
“Cheers” Tessa smiled and cl!¢ked hers with Kristen’s. They were sitting on a bench outside the house.
“Hmm…The stars shines brightest at Farrows,, don’t you think?” Kristen asked as she looked up.
Tessa sipped a little bit of the content before looking up.
“I guess”
Kristen looked at her.
“What was your dream about?” She asked, softly.
“Unnie?” Tessa called.
“Hmm?” Kristen responded.
“Can’t you leave?” Tessa almost sobbe-d.
“What?”
“I had a nightmare you were kil- Tessa paused.
“You were in danger cause you worked in the dark hunters cartel,, that was my nightmare” She said.
Kristen chuckled a bit.
“Its just a harmless nightmare. I’ll be fine-
“Please,,, please,, can’t you just listen to me? I’m really scared you work there. People that work there are mean, cruel, heartless and very wicked-
“Not me. I just nee-d to capture those mean vampires-
“Not all vampires are mean”
“How do you know that? Its not like you know any. They are only wicked ones alive and they will stop at nothing to kill people just like they did to mum” Kristen said, trying to fight her tears.
She quickly placed the mouth of her can beverage on her l-ipand began to drink it fast.
“How… how are we sure she was killed by a vampire?”
“What’s wrong with you, Tessa!” Kristen suddenly screamed and stood up.
“Unnie”
“Explain who bites people ne-ck and drinks half a liter of their blood. Wait a minute? I guess it’s a snake, rabbit, lion… No,, you tell me!!”
Tessa sighed.
“Right before my eyes,, in the woods,, I saw a girl grab mum. She bit her ne-ck drinking her blood. Guess what i did?” Kristen laughed softly amidst tears.
“I watched in fear”
Tessa swallowed ha-rd.
“But now,, I won’t be scared anymore. I’m gonna make sure I bring the whole vampire nation on their knees. Goodnight and I hope, you have a good night sleep” Kristen said and walked away.
Tessa sighed and looked down.

Mrs Morgan screamed.
? Ma’am,, please,, just calm down. That vampire never came back but you don’t nee-d to worry anyways,, he must have been a corpse by now. I don’t even have any antidote for him.
Clyde scoffed.

“Tessa?” Connor and Jake called in unison.
Doris looked up, then Tessa.
She saw Connor at her front and Jake at her back.
“You guys. What are you-
“Connor,, Hi” Laura waved and he only smiled.
“Actually, Hmm… Tessa, I was thinking if you wanted to go to the libr@ry? I’m off there now” Connor said.
“Huh… I’m not really sure. I prefer to sleep” She chuckled.
“Oh…okay then” He nodded and walked away.
“Hey, Tessa” Jake called and moved to her face.
“And how may I help you?” She asked.
“Hope you didn’t forget about our date?” He wi-nked.
“Wh…at? Date? What date?” Tessa stammered.
“Have you forgotten? The dinner?” Jake said.
“Dinner and date isn’t the same thing, moron” Laura shook her head.
“Stop confusing my sister. She might think you like her” Doris said.
“I like her” He muttered with a smile.
“What?” Doris and Laura asked.
“What?” Jake asked back.
“You said something. What was-
“I said I would like it if she comes to the dinner” He for-ced a smile.
“Oh” Laura said.
Doris looked at him and nodded.
“Wait. Hold on. What dinner?” Tessa asked.
“The dinner you promised him” Doris said.
“Can’t believe you forgot about it. The dinner you promised him for finding your teddy that night,, remember?” Laura asked.
“Oh…” Tessa muttered.
“So? What’s with it?” She asked and looked at him.
“Lets go on the date… sorry,, dinner this weekend, huh?” Jake said, cutely.
Tessa sighed.

“Hey,, Nora?” Vera called.
“Huh?” Nora asked.
“Do you know what those two are talking about?” Vera asked.
“Not sure but they both look lovey dovey” Nora smiled. She looked at Vera and saw her angry look.
“Sorry” Nora muttered.

She looked over and saw Lucas staring at her.
“What is he staring at now?” She made an annoying look and quickly looked away.

Tessa slowly walked back home from the convenience sto-re. After walking for few minutes, she figured going throu-ghthe woods would better since it was a easier and better route.
As she walked throu-ghthe woods, her shoe lace suddenly untied. She sighed and bent down to tie the laces.
The instant she bent down, she saw a blue lightening p@$$ over her head. She fell down in fear and the bottled milk she bought, fell down broke and spilled away.
Tessa breathed really ha-rd as she turned her ne-ck over to see an ugly looking man wearing a pointed hat.
He had funny pointed shoes and wore puffy blue trousers over blue shirt. He had a long mustache and held a long stick which had a round head.
He smi-rked and quickly pointed the stick at her and right before her eyes, Tessa saw lightening leave the stick as it raced towards her.
