The cave began to crumble and little by little, rocks began to fall down.
“Mabel!” Jake shook her.
Mabel slowly turned to him. She still had Mason on her thi-ghs and arms.
Jake sighed dee-ply and gr-abbĀ£d her arm.
“We nee-d to leave now” He said.
She sobbĀ£d loudly.
“Mason… What about Mason. What are we gonna do about him? We can’t just leave him like this-
“Please! Please… get it together, Mabel. I guess you wanna die with him too?” Connor raised his brows angrily.
“Connor” Tessa quietly cautioned.
“Why? Aren’t I spitting facts? If we stay here for three more minutes,, we are all gonna die. Mabel,, please… just get it together” Connor said.
Mabel cried again and Jake quickly pu-lled her up.
“Mabel. You are the only one who can teleport us away from- Jake paused and quickly covered her from a rock that fell.
The rock hit his back and he gro-an ed. His broad and able bĀ©dy covered Mabel and Tessa watched, quite perplexed.
“Are you alright?” Jake asked.
Mabel nodded.
“I should even be the one asking you. Are you alright?” She asked.
“No… I’m not. More and bigger ones might come and hit us till we dead. Are we still gonna stay here, sorceress?” He asked and she simply sighed.

“Mabel!!” Vera shouted and stood up.
Mabel bursted out into tears and the other clas-smates wondered what was happening. The rest followed suite immediately and went to their various seats.
“What’s it?… Why are you crying?” Vera asked, worriedly.
“Mason… Mason… He broke his promise” Mabel stammered, crying.
Vera looked at her face, before looking around.
“What do you mean?”
“He’s gone” She murmured.
“Oh goodness…. Mabel,, I’m really sorry” Vera said and pu-lled her close again for and hu-g.
Nora also walked up to them and hu-gged the both,, in consolation.
“What’s with them?” Laura asked, as she took her eyes off the three friends.
Tessa just sighed and la-id her head on the table.
“Tessa?” Doris called.
“Yes?” She answered, and turned her head over,, though it was still laying on the desk. She met Doris also laying down her head on her own desk.
“Where were you?” She asked.
Tessa wi-dened her eyes.
“Huh?… What do you mean?”
“You have been out for fourty minutes now” Doris replied.
“What? Huh… I was… at the libr@ry,, yes,, libr@ry… re-ading some novels” Tessa chuckled.
“I was at the libr@ry but I didn’t see you” Laura spoke fast.
Tessa quickly raised her head up and looked at her.
“What? You were at the libr@ry? You can’t be so sure. There isn’t a hundred percent that we could run to each other there. Besides,, it’s quite big” She said.
“Okay then… If you say so” Laura said.
“So, Tessa… how was it?” Doris asked.
“What?” Tessa asked quickly and turned to her.
“The novel,, of course” Doris replied.
“Huh…” Tessa muttered and looked down. She remembered the hu-ge drama she had witness in the cave then and a sigh left her mouth.
“Actually, It was tragedy. I would advise people not to even glance at it… It was terrible” Tessa said and looked at Mable who was crying her eyes out on her desk.
“Hmm… I guess I don’t nee-d to ask for the title then” Laura said.
“It’s better you don’t” Tessa for-ced a smile.
Mabel suddenly stood up and muttered out some magic words.
Time stopped and everyone froze at that point except for the supernatural.
She looked at Mason seat and saw Jake sitting down there while consoling Karl.
“He was my best friend” He cried out.
“Who did this again?” Connor asked after noticing the strange but happening things.
“Me” Mabel replied codly and walked up to the board.
“Guys, Someone did that to Mason and not the face shifter. If it was her, Mason would have rise-njust like how Jake did when he died. Anyways, I want to find a way to… bring him back”
Karl hit his desk and stood up angrily.
“Whose legs are you trying to pu-ll? Or perhaps,, are you dumb or what! He’s a supernatural and once gone,, we all know he can’t come back again. Even when he gets reincarnated as a human,, you would be a really old witch and he won’t even remember you!” He shouted.
“I was actually thinking we could all just come up with something? Why are you taking it out on me?” Mabel asked.
“Everyone knows nothing can be done. Ah,, you wanna know why I’m taking it out on you?” Karl asked.
Mabel’s eyes blinked as she watched him.
“You are the cause of his death!”
“Hey, Karl!” Nora yelled.
“Shut your crap and stop this nonse-nse at once!” Vera shouted and stood up.
“I won’t condone any trashy words again from you. If you say anymore word about his death concerning Mabel again,, I’m gonna make sure I for-ce myself in drinking vampire blood… which is gonna be your blood after all” Vera said, pointing a fin-gerat him.
Karl scoffed and pocketed his hands.
“If not for her, He wouldn’t have gone there and maybe he would still be alive” He said, kicked his desk, and walked away.
“Hey! Karl!” Jake yelled.
“That stubborn je-rk” He shook his head.
Tears were alre-ady flowing down Mabel’s eyes. She wiped it off but the more she wiped, the more it flowed.
“I doubt it” Connor suddenly whispered.
“What?” Tessa asked.
“I think it wasn’t the fault of the cave or face shifter just as Mabel explained. It simply means,, even if Mason didn’t follow us here,, he would have been dead anyways” Connor said.
“What?” Tessa whispered.
“Yes..We just nee-d to simply know who killed him. Tessa? Please,, can you find out who?” Mabel asked.
“I’m… not sure my powers does that. Can’t you, Mabel? You are a sorceress” Tessa said.
Mabel scratched her head.
“I know how to find out but I nee-d my magic mirror to show us”
“So,, where’s your magic mirror? Bring it out” Jake said.
“Actually,, Its at home… in my room” Mabel replied.
“Unfreeze the time and things here. We nee-d to move to your place once school dismisses” Tessa said.
Mabel nodded and was about to stop it when Nora quickly interrupted.
“What about Doris? How are you gonna explain things to her,, before you follow us?”
Tessa sighed and scratched her head.
“By then,, I would have thought about it. Now,, Mabel-
Mabel nodded.
“3,2,1-
*Whoosh*
Everyone and Everything turned back to normal.
“Pheww” Tessa breathed and looked at Doris who was smiling at her. She quickly smiled back.

Mrs Morgan raised her eyes and it almost fell from its socket when she saw Celia had finished eating 4 raw lizards and 10 fishes.
“How… how did you eat so fast? I didn’t even see you do it… How?” Mrs Morgan stuttered.
“Time…” Celia spoke rashly as she threw a live fish into her mouth.
“Time?” Mrs Morgan asked.
“Time stopped for a while” Celia said.
Mrs Moran ran her eyes around the room.
“That means… when time stopped, it was invulnerable to you. I froze alongside time but you didn’t. And in that couple of minutes, you were able to finish all this”
Mrs Morgan smiled and walked to the glas-s. She to-uched it and smiled.
“You know what it means… They,,, no… She is near”

“Your home is really hu-ge by the way” Tessa chuckled.
“Thanks” Mabel smiled shortly as she sat down on the chair facing the mirror. Others stood at her back.
“Never knew you were from a wealthy family. I mean,, take a look at your room.. whoa” Tessa said.
“Yup. only few knows. By the way, did you sort it out with Doris?”
“Yes” Tessa smi-rked.
“Really? What did you tell her?” Nora asked.
“I told her to wait for me at the amusement park. She’s a big fan of merry go rounds so,, I gave her a ticket and she couldn’t say no. She asked no questions either. She screamed happily and ran off” Tessa chuckled
Jake looked at her smiling face and smiled. Connor stared at both of them before slightly taking his face away.
“Are we gonna keep talking!” Karl asked, impatiently.
“Sorry, Now,, let’s get things started-
“Wait” Connor whispered.
He sighed and walked to the door and swiftly opened it.
Three maids were placing their ears on her door hearing their discussion. They all flin-ched in fear
“fu-ck! We could have been caught!” Mabel whispered and walked to them.
Connor shifted as she faced them.
“What are you doing here?!” She yelled.
“My lady. Forgive me,, please. We was just curious about who these new people were-
“You don’t have to be curious anymore. Now leave” She said, flatly.
They all bowed and ran but they heard another statement from her.
“Leave… You all are fired!” And with that,, she slammed the door.

She had finally finished muttering the magic words. Her eyes were dee-p white and her hair glowed.
“I want to know who did that to Mason,, magic mirror” She whispered.
There was a mighty wind and the mirror began to turn black,, then showed the blackness swirling.
Some words finally showed in the screen.
Mabel re-ad them inwardly and bit her li-p in anguish.
“I’m gonna kill them all” She muttered.
Everyone stared at the mirror and Tessa blinked her eyes, swallowing ha-rdin nervousness.
Written boldly on the mirror was;
