By 4pm, we all drove Angel to the hospital, several tests was carried out on her and it was discovered that her womb was tampered with slightly, there was also a contraction at her pelvis bone which might result to the inability of a baby to stay for long in her womb because, her womb can’t hold a baby at length, especially when the baby starts growing bigger in the womb, it will be restless and that will result to miscarriage, even though it survives to the 9th month, she can’t give birth on her own except through caesarean section (CS)
We were all in there and her mom can’t stop shading tears, even Angel was also in tears singing I’m sorry like a song, my dad was so silent and all he could say was that he only pitied the man that will pick her as a wife and won’t blame him if he go for a second wife but rather gave him his full support in marrying another wife.
That was harsh of dad I guess but is not his fault.
But doc, their could be a remedy or rather a prevention for this, I asked anticipating for a favorable answer.

No no, you can take her home with you, but just make sure you got all the prescribed drugs for her and ensure she gets enough rest and stay away from stressful and tedious work for the time been.

We all sensed the tension including the doctor and I think it was what prompted him to advise my dad to take it easy with her.
Dad nodded with a weary Smile, I gat no problem with her doc.

I helped mum in helping Angel up to her feet, she couldn’t walk very upright because of the pains she’s experiencing around her pelvic joints, so gradually we walked towards the car to meet dad
Sensing from my dad’s look, he was almost pissed off watching the way I and his wife was supporting Angel to enable her walk.
Stacy dad called out to me, hurry down here and let her mother support her truthful and amazing daughter all alone, besides they both got what they asked for.
My dad is so battered and ashamed about the bad name Angel has brought upon our family but he doesn’t want to show it, rather he is taken it all out on his wife and blaming her all along because she is the chief architect of what just befall His daughter.
We got to the car and dad drove home.
The house was quite and not as lively as it used to be since Angels abortion, during dinner, dad shocked us with the news that Angel is going to stay at home for two years, before she will enter university. That’s her punishment for what she deed.
The information came as a surprised that every one choked at the food in their mouth
But darling she’s about writing jamb next week, you can’t do these to her.
Oh shut up woman! look I don’t wanna release the beast in me because of the shame you and your daughter brought on me in this house, do you know the implications of what she did, she just dragged my name to the mud and ruin my reputation, what do you think that people will say when they hear about it huh! 1. She just terminated an innocent child depriving the child existence and also depriving a father of his child without his knowledge,
2. She doesn’t know if that baby is the only child she will bear in her entire life, OK let’s forget that now, it has been said by the doctor that the chances of her womb holding a baby is limited…. But, step mum tried to cuts in and that even gets my dad more angrier.
Oh shut up woman!!! he hit his large hand on the table and that made a heavy sound and even made some empty plates on the table to whirl up making another noise too, you dare not speak when I’m talking, but what do you want to say now, it was this “But” that you have always been saying that made your loosed daughter to get her self into this mess right under your nose and in this very house, but what, madam? Have you ever thought about if she had loosed her life in the process, will you be sitting down here eating and trying to interject in my opinion, don’t push me to the wall and make me do worst!!
My dad’s eyes are red now and he is very much angry now, I have not seen him in such a rage before and I just pray that it doesn’t get worst than this.

The whole house was vibrating in fear both the human in it and the objects there, now I have come to understand the reasons why my dad is been nick named STORM , when he is very angry, he looks and acts like a raging Storm that’s why he is always joking around and avoids a lot of things so as not to get annoyed by things.
Right now, I don’t know how to approach this issue, I thought in several ways but dad is still talking and no one dares intrudes him when he is still speaking.
Now listen and listen good Angel or whatever you called your irritating and disgraceful self my dad said pointing at Angel…
I know I have to do something before is too late, I excused my self pretending that I needed to ease my self I took dad’s phone along with out any one noticing it, I went into my room and searched for my brothers name luckily for me, I found it then dialed the number and he picked at first ring.
Hello dad, good evening came the voice on the other end,
oh my gosh! this is the first time I’m hearing my brothers voice and it sounds so base like, very deep and sweet, wow! I felt like hugging him through the phone, dad in his own reasons best known to him has refused me speaking with my brother even on phone or showing me his picture all in the name that he wants it to be a surprise to me
I totally forgot that I’m on the line not until he said, Hello dad, you ain’t saying anything, you made a mistake dialling my number? he joked
I realized my self and then had to speak up, nope sorry is not dad on the line, I don’t want to introduce myself to him I just went straight to the point… Please bro, dad is very provoked and highly annoyed now and might do something very bad now if we don’t find a way to disrupt or distract him right now.
Oh no, who gets my father so upset, he could do something very drastic if nothing is been done now whosoever brought out the STORM in him is really in for it, my brother said with a disturbing voice, but wait a minute who are you and why are you calling me.
Gosh! I don’t know what to reply now….. Well, who I am is not important right now, I know you are the only one that could distract him since you are not here with us, please immediately I dropped this call, call back with the intention that you want to speak with dad, please just do what I ask so as to save this situation I said avoiding his questions.

I didn’t allow him finish what he was about saying, I just cuts in immediately, please call back right now, I said and dropped the call.
I eased my self and hurried back to the dinning, just as I dropped the phone, the call came in, wow! I’m so lucky that I have already dropped the phone the first call dad didn’t pick, the second and third same he ignored it, oh dad please pick your calls I prayed silently, here comes the next call and he finally picked, after some time he dropped the call, with relieve and Smile he tried to hide, he was a bit relaxed now, then he said,
you are going to stay home two more years and I must make sure you are certified by me before I allow you go into high institutions because I can see that you are very immature to go and live there all alone. You will only end up ruining your almost ruined life there that’s my punishment for you but know this, if I didn’t see any changed of attitude in you for that two years, believe me my daughter, you will remain at home until I see the changes I desired in you I’m I understood? He asked not too harsh this time.
Angel whose eyes is clouded with tears nodded in agreement.
Hey say something, you ain’t no lizard that nods it’s head, dad barked at her.
She wiped her tears, yes dad I will stay at home…. Her tears kept coming back.
Don’t you think two years is too much? Step mum said squeezing her face.
That’s my final decision wife, I still have your own punishment for you but I don’t want to say it in the presence of this kids…. You should not forget you contributed 75% to your daughters attitudes…… Dad said to her and stood up then left the dining.
Step mum kept on blabbing but her daughter assured her that she accepts her punishment with good faith and she’s ready to turn a new leaf and become a better and changed person, I guess it was too much for step mum to take so she stormed out of the dinning.
Then Angel apologized to me and said, what goes around comes around in life big sis, I and mum plotted and succeeded in drawing you back wards towards your academic but now look at me, the same thing just happened to me…. I guess I’m paying for my evil deeds against you, she said sobbing.
