Life is indeed very tricky, did I just say tricky? Nope that’s not a befitting word to use to describe life… I think life is not tricky, life is uhmm! Well I don’t know what to use to qualify or describe life, I think I will remember that soon and let you know my thought or definition about life.
I lay on my bed tossing from one side of the bed to the other as I thought about my step mum and step sis, I wondered how they both must have felt about the punishment dad gave to Angel about her been at home for two years before furthering her education, step mum is definitely not happy about it but she was happy when she withdrew and take me backwards from the class I was supposed to be in to a more lower class if not for her setbacks, I would have been in high institution right now probably in my 2nd or 3rd year, but here I am at my age I’m yet to write jamb to enter University…. Hmm!
I felt bad really and now look, the same coin is been paid to them right now….. Indeed vengeance is of the Lord.
I thought about other things too, i remembered my brothers voice, it came echoing in my head, oh I wish I’m seeing him already, I wondered what he told dad when he called him on phone which made him calm down, I was still thinking when I heard a knock at my door before I could even ask who was at the door, Henry came in filled with a face beaming with excitement, I was about asking whatsup with him and he came diving into my bed
I was very surprised at his behavior, Henry can be funny, jovial and funky yes but he has never behaved in this way before.
Henry, I called him, instead he grabbed my hands at this point, I was sitting down on the bed, with his hands in mine he stood on top of my bed and started dancing around, I had to stand up due to the way he grabbed my hands.
You know this saying that laughter is contagious, yes indeed laughter is contagious, despite not knowing what my Lil brothers excitement and happiness was all about but I was drawn to him and was motivated and inspired by his happiness that I cued in too.
We have danced, jiggled and wiggled around for some time just like toddlers before I realized that I don’t even know why I’m laughing and dancing about.
Hey what’s up dude, what happened, did you win lottery to travel abroad or you just won scholarship? I asked him still grinning at his happy face.
Guess what big sis, he said trying to catch his breath.
Hey don’t even start now I said sitting down feigning an angry face, so after dancing around and jubilating with you, you still wants to give me the stress of guessing huh!
He laughed and make some funny face, big sis you know what, I think you should always be angry all the time because you really looks so gorgeous when you are angry, I’m serious.
Oh shut up and tell me why you are so happy, I was already smiling because no dull moment with Henry and you can never keep a straight face with him for long mtcheww!
Hey stop hissing, your mouth is not good enough for it, he said teasing me again.
I grabbed his wrist and headed towards the door, I want to throw him out and shut my door, but you know Henry will always be Henry, he knew exactly what I wanted to do and slips his hands off mine and ran back into my room
Henry! tell me what or you get out from my room, I said meaning it,… If there’s anything I hate most in my life, is SUSPENSE and right now this dude is getting to my weakness just like my dad has been doing to me in avoiding me from getting to see my brothers picture or speak with him, if not that he is my dad, I would have done something to him but what can I do, and now this son of his father is playing the same game of suspense with me.
Henry observed that I wasn’t laughing again, he immediately knew what the next signal will be.
Oh okay big sis, I will tell you but is a secret though.
I pretended that I’m not interested while my ears is itching to hear what he wants to say.
Seeing that I didn’t respond, he just came closer and whispered in my ears,
Stanley your twins is coming home in two days time.
That’s not true, just stop joking around with me I said and walk towards my bed to lie down
Henry held his throat, trust me big sis, remember the call that dad received at the dinning while he was at rage, it was Stanley that called to tell him that his coming home.
Oh my God! I exclaimed excitedly,are you been serious right now?.
Shhhiii! Big sis, please lower your voice because dad want to keep it as a secret and surprise to you….. Please I didn’t tell you anything ooo, he said and ran out of my room.
I smiled and shouted thank you not knowing if he heard it or not, I’m just too grateful having a brother like Henry.

I jumped on my bed feeling so excited about this great news, hope he is been serious about his coming or he just said it to calm dad down, whatever the most important thing is this joy and happiness that I am deriving from this info that I just received about him
Another wrap on my door, who else if not Henry, what news did he brought this time around, without bothering to ask whose at the door, I just said come on in….. The door opened and to my bewilderment guess who it was?.
I sat up on my bed with bold letters of surprise written on my face….. Wow! To what do I owe this visit, I kept starring at the figure standing before me while a lot of thoughts run through my mind…. I was expecting to hear something for 4mints now but nothing was heard.
Oh! I was so engrossed with my thoughts that I forgot my manners. sorry dear, please come sit, I said….. I expected a response but none was heard.
Hello dear, please come sit, don’t worry, you are welcome to my room I added to ease the tension.
Thank you came the voice……she walked towards the only chair in my room but I said no,…. Please come sit with me on my bed I said, I expected an objection but there was none.
Hello! I know you must be thinking that is Stan my twin brother, nope it wasn’t him but Angel…… Lol, I got you guys there some how right? Don’t laugh alone remember that laughter is contagiousš
Please sis, make your self comfortable, I said to her and dash off to the kitchen to get some juice from the fridge and two glasses ….. You know, this is the first time that Angie is coming into my room so peaceful before, what I mean is that she came knocking and waited to be ushered in before she comes in, she also Waited to be ushered a seat before she comes sitting down, unlike other days, when she used to be angeldevil and my dad is away from home, she usually came badging into my room like we owe it together, she will sit down and cross her legs then gave me her orders of what she wants me to do for her, after which she insults me like a nobody, then walked out of my room and banged my door as she likes
She’s now the same person that is here in my room waiting to receive permission before she does anything….. Hmmm! I still haven’t gotten the best definition of life, but hopefully I will before the end of my story but right now I did like to say that Life is unpredictable.
I took the juice and two glasses and headed back to my room then I suddenly remembered angies condition,…. It won’t be accommodating for her body system to consume this juice yet because her wounds are still fresh and it might not be pleasant for her consumption (hmmm! Pls my readers, I’m an art student and not a science student, so if I’m wrong in the above sentence… That some one who had an abortion is not supposed to drink juice, abeg make una correct me oo! Lol. I’m a doctor in waiting)
Oops! I just wished she came to my room humbly when she’s healthy, we would have enjoyed this together… Mtcheww! I had no option than to go back and take something that she can drink in order not to add to her problem.
I was contemplating if it is healthy for her to drink milk…. I think is more preferable than juice, I just took a can of peak milk and hurried back to my room, here comes Henry

Hmmm! I can’t believe that this is the step sis I used to know….. What’s she up to this time, I think I have to be alert too until I am finally convinced that Angel is a changed person……… *
