“Guys hurry up, we should leave now” Archie said

“Why are you in hurry? Is something wrong that you didn’t want to tell us?” Wisdom asked

“Talk bro” Chris said

“There’s nothing wrong, I’m not hiding anything from you guys, so let’s go” Archie said and we all went out of the clas-s with our backpacks.

We were a bit close to the school entrance when a girl c@m£ to stand in front of Archie and I.

“Good afternoon snr” the girl greeted, I didn’t see her face but I could see her from toe to w@!st.

“Good afternoon dear, what do you want?” Archie asked

“Don’t you remember me??” the girl asked and Archie remain silent, probably trying to remember her face.
“No, I don’t” Archie said

“I’m Becky, the girl you met at Mr Desmond daughter’s birthday p@rty” the girl said and my heart started beating fas-ter, she will expo-se me

“Archie plea-se, dismiss her, she’ll expo-se me if we don’t act fast” I whispered to Archie

“Don’t worry, leave the matter to me, don’t you trust me anymore?” Archie asked in a low voice

“Of course I do trust you but…”
“Worry less dear, I’ll handle her” Archie said and I felt a little bit relaxed.

“What are you saying girl? I don’t know you” Archie said

“What!? You said I should act as your girlfriend because your friends will ask of her and you don’t want them to know that she is Tiana, what do you call her name?…. Samyn, yes! Jessamyn, but in reality, she is Tiana Hathaway” Becky said

“I said don’t worry, I’ll sort it out now” Archie said and I kept quiet.

You’re such a great story writer, you composed such an incredible story in just a blink of an eye… how would you even think of the famous musician, as in… The Rockstar Tiana Hathaway as my girlfriend??… I’m totally below her level, she can’t possibly talk to me, not to talk about d@t!ngme, are you sure you’re not mistaken?” Archie said and others laughed.

“But she is your girlfriend, why can’t she d@t£ you when you’re the prime minister’s son” Becky said

“It’s obvious she is hallucinating, come on girlie, Archie’s girlfriend is Samyn, Jessamyn Roy and here she is, not Tiana Hathaway” Jessica said

“I know you all believe she’s Jessamyn Roy, but the truth is she is Tiana Hathaway, believe me, I know what I’m saying” Becky said again

“Now I agree with Jessica, you’re obviously hallucinating, come on guys let’s go” Monalisa said and we left Becky.

“Why not re-move her hoodie and see for yourself” Becky shouted and we halted.

Monalisa left Wisdom’s side and proceeded towards me.

Hope she isn’t coming to re-move my hoodie?

She stood beside me and crossed her arm around my n£¢k.

“Hey girl, you see this my friend standing with me” she paused as she pointed at me before she continues

“She’ll be the one to reveal her face as she had told us and we respected and look forward to that, so my dear, don’t interfere in our personal lives okay?, Take care, let’s go guys” Monalisa said and we headed out of the school.

Wow!

I’m really surprised that Monalisa could do such a thing.

I thought she will re-move my hoodie.

She didn’t even adhere to any of the signs I gave her.

She’s so nauseating!

Our drivers c@m£ and we all went home.

“What should we do about your sister’s case now Archie?” Samyn asked as we were on a video call in the car.

“I don’t know yet, but I’ll find a solution, I’m sure they can’t kill her just like that” I said

“Alright, but plea-se make it snappy, nothing should happen to my sweet cute little angel” Samyn said

“I’ll go now, I’ve arrived home, chat you later” I said
“Okay bye”

“Bye, love you” I said
“Love you too” she replied and I disconnected.

I alighted from the car and headed in.
“That useless father is around, he’ll start his trouble again” I gro-an ed as I entered.

“plea-se don’t kill my daughter, plea-se, I beg you” I heard Dad speaking over the phone with tension clearly shown in his voice.

I guess he is speaking with the hired as-sas-sins.

Thank God he put the phone on speaker.

“Sorry, time up Desmond, your daughter will have to die” the other speaker said

“plea-se Joel, spare my daughter’s life, you know she is my only surviving daughter plea-se” Dad pleaded but the man hung up.

So, his friend is actually behind my sister’s disappearance.

Wow!

Nice to know that, he made my task easier.

Dad fell on his knees as he broke down in tears. I was t©uçhed by his tears and I moved closer to him.

“Don’t worry Dad, I’ll bring Lenita back home safe and sound” I said and I held him by the shoulder.

“I don’t know Joel can do this to me? I mean we’re friends and I don’t think I offend him in any way that will make him want to kill my daughter” Dad said in tears

“That’s life for you Dad, trust no one” I said and helped him up.

“My son, plea-se forgive me for all I put you throu-gh, I admit it’s all my fault, plea-se forgive me son” Dad said and I was alre-ady in tears. I drew him into a ti-ght hvg.

“It’s alright Dad, I’ve forgiven you long time ago” I said still hvgging him

“Really??” he asked and I nodded
“Thank you my son” Dad said and we dis£ngaged

“Now I must save Lenita from that wicked soul, don’t worry father, nothing will happen to her, I promise” I said

“I trust you son” Dad said and I headed upstairs.

Minutes later, I c@m£ back downstairs fully dressed in black.

“Where are you going? And why are you dressed in black?” Dad asked me.

“I’m going on a mission, and I pray it’s possible” I said and he flashed a smile, I return the smile

“I must go now father” I said
“Alright, take care of yourself”
“Sure father, bye” I said and headed out.

“Where should I go first? Mr Joel’s house or Samyn’s?” I was still deliberating on where to go first when Samyn’s call c@m£ in.

“Hey sweetheart what’s up?” she said as soon as I answered the call.
“I’m good as always”

“Alright, any information?” she asked
“Yes, I’ve found out who kidnapped Lenita” I said

“Really?? Who is it?” she asked
“I’ll tell you when we meet, right now, I’m going to his house” I said

“Can I come with you?” she asked
“Alright, get re-ady, I’m coming to your house then” I said and disconnected.

✓ 15 minutes later ✓

“Wow! You look h0t in that” she said pointing to my cloth as soon as she entered the car.

“Thanks, about the man who kidnapped my sister, could you believe he is my dad’s friend?” I said

“You mean, your dad’s friend kidnapped Lenita??” she asked in disbelief

“Yes, that’s why we must go to his immediately, if we threaten him, he might tell us where he kept Lenita” I said

“That’s right, come on let’s go”
I drove to Mr Joel’s house, on getting there, the gatekeeper didn’t want to let us in but I gave him some money and he made way for us to enter.

“Let’s park this car in somewhere far from here, if he sees this car, he’ll know that you’re here, you know” Samyn said and I reasoned with her.

I parked the car in some meters away and we trekked back to his house.

We searched everywhere but we didn’t see him nor anything that can lead us to where he kept Lenita.

We were about to go when I remembered we haven’t searched his be-droom.

“Let’s go to his be-droom” I said and we headed upstairs.

On getting in, we didn’t see him there either but his phone was on the be-d, ringing.

“Let’s pick the call, we might here something useful from the caller?… maybe one of the hired as-sas-sins” Samyn said

“Yeah, that’s true” I said and pick the call, I used an handkerchief to cover the speaker.

“Yes? What’s the matter?” I said
“Sir, the police is here” I heard a man’s voice

“Who called them?” I asked
“I don’t know who called them and I also don’t know how they discovered our hideout” the man said with tension

“Alright, hope they haven’t seen you guys?” I asked
“No sir, we escaped with that girl”

“Alright, tell me where you are now, I’m coming” I said and he told me the address of where they are.

“Okay, I’ll be there in minutes, don’t let the girl scream okay?” I said and disconnected

“Yes! Now we can have our Lenita back” Samyn said happily and I smiled.

We held footsteps and we quic-kly hide behind the curtain.

It was Mr Joel. He was receiving a call while coming in.

“You heard me right, I said you should kill him today” he said to the person he’s speaking to.

“Sir, but he’s our current prime minister, we can’t just kill him like that” the person said

“Hey, I gave you something to do and you’re refusing??? Who cares if he is the prime minister or not? I’ll wipe all his family including his son Archie. I will get him killed, just do as I say and you’ll receive your payment, okay??” He shouted

“Alright sir” the person said and he disconnected. He sat down on the be-d p@n-ting heavily.

“Damnit! Damnit!! Even those fools didn’t want to kill him, Desmond Richa-rd Myers, you’ll be dead today, surely” he said.
