⏭️we spent a while staring at each other but quickly stopped when they door was opened.
“oh it seems i just interrupt you, well dinner is ready, just go to your room,” a lady said then left, i heaved a sigh of relief and turn to Delphine.
“i was just kidding, we’ll study together with you and win this,” i said to her while she she just nodded and i stood up.
“so won’t you eat breakfast? i asked her.
“no am okay with this,” she replied.
“okay then i’ll just go and eat then come back,” i said to her then left.
Well after like thirty minutes i went back to her and meet her reading, we study together for a long time and share different ideas of some topic, Delphine is quite intelligent i could say because she was the one talking a lot and bringing news ideas, while i just stare at her pretty face. I could say she was so exhausted, she lye down and i watch her sleep peacefully, i glance at my wrist watch which was already ten PM, i really don’t want to wake her up but i just have to, so she could prepare for tomorrow’s event. I want to wake her up in a more romantic way i looked around and glad i saw something that caught my eyes, it a guitar i was so happy seeing it,
i guess today is just my lucky day. I picked it up and sat close to her still staring at her beautiful face which makes me smile, i played the guitar but i just hoped i won’t disturbed the peace of other students.

❇ {Delphine’s POV}❇

I was de-ep asleep when i heard a melodious voice singing which make me open my eyes, my vision was still blur because i still needed to sleep more. Gosh! Clark is just too disturbing i said to myself,well he has this angelic voice, the music was actually good but he just ruined my sleep, i stood up and stretch my body then quickly packed all my books aside.
“Clark, why are you playing this, it night already and you’re disturbing other people,” i said rubb-ing my eyes but he just smiled revealing the dimple on one side of his cheek, he’s so handsome but that doesn’t mean i like him.
“i did that to wake you,” he said moving closer to me.
“that so romantic of him,” i thought to myself, “that so annoying you know, well goodnight,” i said frowning my face then quickly went back to my room.
I lye down on my bed thinking about my mom, David and grandma, i so much miss them and i also don’t want to disappoint them, i then remember Milton and that makes me smile i know he must be having sleepless night because of me, i can’t wait to go back home to everyone even Amy and Sarah i miss them so much. I kept thinking about home until i fall asleep.

Delphine arrived home and was so happy to see her parents but unfortunately for no one was at home.
“mom, David..grandma? Delphine called out but no one answered.
She went out looking for them only to see Nicole coming towards her.
“Nicole, i haven’t seen my mom, David and grandma..” she said so sad.
“why? Nicole asked.
“but i thought you’ve promise to take care fo them while am away, please Nicole i need to know about their whereabout,” Delphine pleaded in tears while Nicole hug-ged her but the next thing Delphine could feel was a sharp pain roar throu-ghher and blood gushing out from her stomach and that was when she knew Nicole stab her.
“Nicole.. she managed to say but Nicole laughed out loud and disappear into thin air.

⏩ The next morning Delphine was awake scared about the dream she had last night, but she tried to look more happy. She walked down to the hallway to look for Clark but saw him with a lady talking, they seems so happy and she wonder if Clark has known her before.
“Clark,” she called out while Clark smiled when he saw her.
“i need to go now,” he said to the girl then move closer to Delphine.

❇{Clark’s POV}❇

Delphine looks so beautiful in her uniform, she’s always beautiful.
“you look good today,” i said while she just stared at me, she look so nervous.
“Del, are you jealous because you saw me with that girl? i asked then winked at her.
“not at all, if you like you can talk to the whole girls of Singapore i have nothing to do with that, for all i care now is my Milton alone,” she said which makes me feel so bad.
“are you trying to make me feel jealous? i asked her.
“no, am just saying the truth, well am feeling so nervous, am scared Clark can we make this? am scared we might not win this at last,” she said looking so worried.
“are you scared? i asked in a romantic way then moved closer to her, i held her cheeks softly then stared at her, my arms were wrapped around her wa-ist and i drew my head closer to hers and stare at her li-ps, her eyes were close it as if she’s enjoying every bit of my touch, i stared at her again then bent my head slightly and ki-ss her on the ne-ck.
“we can do this Delphine,” i whisper to her, she slowly opened her eyes and stared at me, i held her hands and we quickly went to the large hall to collect our seat number.

? We were already seated at the large hall, i sat down close to Delphine because it a team work, school by school and each school has only two representative, the questions papers were given us which is a combinations of further maths and physics.
“this too tough,” i whisper to Delphine. It was theory question, ten questions were give and the ten questions must be answered complete. I and Delphine did all we could to answers some of the question although they were quit tough, time was given and at the end we were able to answer just seven out of ten.
We moved out from the hall and meet our teacher already waiting for us.
“how was it? Mr. Cliff asked us, i looked at Delphine who seems so worried.
“it was actually good, we answered complete ten questions, ” i lied while he smile at us. Delphine gave me look.
“i hope you did so well? he asked again while i just nodded.
” tomorrow will be the quiz competition based on further maths,”
“quiz? Delphine asked looking at the teacher.
“yes, quiz is also necessary,” she said.
“we’ll still do our best sir,” i replied, he smiled then left.
“why did you lie to him? Delphine asked me so worried.
“it because i want them to trust us, i don’t want them to get so worried,” i said.
“by lying to them, Clark we just answered seven and am not even sure if what we solved is correct,” she half yelled.
“just know that we gonna win this,” i said then left her still standing their.

⏩Later in the evening Nicole arrived to Delphine’s house and meet her mom in their. Livvy was able to recognize her because she have been visiting them as Delphine’s friend.
“who is she mom? David asked his mom who was seated with Nicole.
“she’s Delphine friend,” Livvy replied while David nothing but walked away.
“am fulfilling my promise to Delphine, i have decided to help her take care of you,” Nicole fake a smile.

Delphine was in the study room thinking about her dream, this time Clark was the one doing much of the talking.
“hey,” he tapped her. “what wrong? he asked her.
“Clark, when Nicole was still your girlfriend, have she ever acted evil? Delphine asked.
“not really, Nicole isn’t as bad as you think, what? why are you asking? Clark asked as he drop his pen and face Delphine.
“i just have this feeling something bad might happen to my mom or my family, i had a horrible nightmare,” she said while Clark held her hands.
“we need to study so well for the quiz tomorrow, nothing bad will happen to your family,” he said softly while Delphine looked at him.
“i hope so, am worried about my family,” she said while Clark moved closer to hug her but she step backward.
“am fine Clark,” she said faking a smile..?
