⏭️ I was already dressed the next morning and packed few of my clothes, we’re actually leaving today and am gonna miss my family so much. After breakfast David was ready to go to school, while grandma will stay back at home to take care of mom.
“wish you success Delphine, i know you’ll gonna win this,” said David to me which made me smile.
“i will miss you so much David,” i hug him then turn to my mom and grandma.
“Delphine dear, just try to be strong i know you can do this,” grandma whisper to me.
“sure grandma, one thing i know for sure is that we gonna make this as the winner,” i smiled then turn to my mom.
“i have to leave now,” i said.
“don’t be too nervous about this okay,” she said while i just nodded then hug her.

I arrived to school and was glad i meet Sarah and Amy to say goodbye to them.
“finally at last, i thought you’ll never come for the final round of this competition, cos first Clark left and thank goodness your mom has recover so fast,” said Amy.
“i just hope we gonna come back as winners to make our school proud, it been long since this school has ever won such international competitions,” i said.
“sure, you and Clark will gonna make a good team and when you win you gonna be the hero and heroine of this school,” Sarah said while we all giggle.

I went over to Nicole and i can say she’s so happy that we’re finally able to make it she has also promise to go and check on my mom while am away.
“Nicole i really don’t want you to stress yourself, my mom is already doing fine and beside grandma is always their for her,” i said but she still insisted to go and take care of her.
“thank you so much Nicole,” i just smiled and we parted ways.
The school has already set everything for our flight and in just an hour we need to be at the airport, well i haven’t seen Clark at school i just hope this time nothing wrong has happen to him. I went to check on Milton in his clas-she already look so sad i know he’ll gonna miss me and i will also miss him as well.
“don’t get use to me not been close to you, i will soon be back it just four days,” i said to him.
“then this four days seems like forever to me, please come back soon and also as the winner, i wish it was me and you doing this,” he said giving me a puppy eyes.
“don’t worry too much Milton, i will come back and be close to you again,” i smiled then smack his ch-est.
“are you sure about this, i don’t want any guy to snatch you away from me, not even that Clark,” he said which made me laugh.
“don’t be too silly, you’ll always be the one in my heart,” i smiled.
“the one in your heart or the only one in your heart? he asked me.
“huh? don’t be too stingy to be the only one in my heart, i still have my family de-ep down my heart,” i said while we laughed together, i just feel like staying back with Milton, if only i can exchange it i will want Milton and i do this and not that Clark i really don’t like him.
“make sure you win cos if you don’t i personally will punish you for that,” he said while i hit his shoulder playfully.
“we gonna win this for sure,” i said laughing, i looked around and saw Clark behind us.
“hey Clark,” i said while Milton turn to look at him.
“the school bus is ready, we need to leave in order not to miss our flight,” he said while i turn to looked at Milton, i hug him pa-ssionately.
“i need to go now, it just a competition, just feel relax and wish me well,” I said then ki-ss his cheeks, i know he must be surprise seeing me do that well i just feel like doing so.
“take care,” Milton said as he smile while i smiled back then left with Clark.
The school bus took us to the airport, our vice principal and three of our teachers also went alone with us. In short minutes time our plane took off. I was seated beside Clark in the plane, he seems so quiet again while i was just bored and feel like talking to someone.
“hey,” i said while Clark said nothing he seems to be lost in his own thought.
“Clark! i called again then hit his shoulder.
“ouch!! that hurts you know,” he said holding his arm.
“what are you thinking? i asked i felt so stupid asking that question well he didn’t replied me he just gave me a look.
“you know ever since you left to Mexico during the holiday and my mom got stab i thought we will never partake in the final round of this competition,” i said then looked at him.
“your mom was stab? he asked me looking so shocked while i just nodded, he suppose to know this, his dad should have tell him this, i guess Jason haven’t even told him about my mom yet.
“am sorry about that,
how is she doing? he asked holding my hands, i looked at him then down to his hands on mine, why is he acting so friendly suddenly.
“she’s doing much better,” i said while i realise my hands from his and he just looked at me. I wanted to start this conversation with him, i want to ask him about his life, family and his mom, well i really don’t know how to start but then it shouldn’t be on plane, i just have to wait till we arrived to Singapore or maybe after the competition, i remember the last time i came here was during my sixteen birthday, Singapore is such a really nice place after all. I turn to look at him and i saw him already stealing a glance at me, our eyes meet and i quickly looked away.

⏩ {Clark’s POV}?
I glance at Delphine, she’s really looking so beautiful in her dress, i have been hiding this feelings for such a very long time, i actually break up with Nicole because i was thinking of having Delphine but it seems Milton has already won her heart already but just as my dad always said, i have so many ways to make her fall me but i won’t for-ce her to do so. She look so disturb as if she want to tell me something, i really want to be her close friend and the only one i would share the words of my heart with, if only she knows how much love her just that i get so jealous whenever i see her with that Milton, that’s the main reason why i travel to Mexico because i couldn’t stand to see her with Milton, well am back to try again i have realise i couldn’t live without her, i miss her so terribly even thou we’re not getting alone,
seeing her alone makes my day and makes me smile, i have to come back for her i can’t just lose her without trying anything. I was lost in thoughts when i turn and saw her already asleep, i pulled her closer to me and rested her head on my shoulders, i stared closely at her, she looks more beautifully even when she’s asleep, her curved eyes lashes, nose, li-ps are so beautiful, i just caressed those long hair of hers and ki-ssed them.
❇The plane has successfully landed, we’ve arrived to Singapore, OMG why will Clark allow me sleep on his shoulder i know he did this intentionally i glare at him and he just smile .
We took a bus to the headquarters where the competition will be held. I so much love Singapore and also their food it so delicious, my eyes were fixed outside while i could tell Clark was busy looking at me which i wonder why.
We arrived to our destination, OMG i really loved this place, some schools have already arrived and their students looked so bright. We sign some papers and we were given our room, well i went to the girls room while Clark also left to the boys room. Later in the evening i freshen up putting on my white top and pink jeans trouser with my flat sli-ppers, my hair was packed to one side of my shoulder and we went down to a large hall for orientation.
I feel so nervous seeing some many students who seems to be so bright, i just hope we will win this or at least be among the first three. After that each school was even a study room. I and Clark were taken to our study room our teacher also went in with us. The study room was so large and could occupied lots of student, everything was neatly packed, with different flowers in their vases. We were given new books and different qualitative textbooks, the place is just so beautiful and it looks quite expensive. I sat down on chair and glance throu-ghsome of their textbook. “wow this will gonna be tough,” i said to myself.
“well the competition will start tomorrow morning, and i know you must be so tired i just want you to read throu-ghout the night,” Mr. Cliff said while he jot down some topics for us to study then left. I looked at Clark who wasn’t saying anything as usual.
“hey i hope you heard our teacher so well, we need to be serious,” i said then stood up, the door was opened by a woman dressed in a uniform i guess she’s a maid over here because she was holding a tray with two cup of coffee on it.
“here is for you, dinner will soon be ready just expect it in your room,” she said then kept the tray gently on a glas-stable and left.
“hmm.. everything here is just so different, well this cup of coffee will okay for me tonight,” i said then picked of the glas-scup of coffee and sip a little, i sat back on a chair and picked one of the textbook to study. Clark was just standing looking at me and not saying anything which make so annoyed.
“hey, won’t you settle down to read,” i half yelled at him.
“am actually so tired i need to sleep, see you tomorrow,” he said moving closer to the door, i quickly stood up and went to the door then locked it.
“Clark we need to win this, don’t act this way and i was thinking you will teach me some other things,” i said so pissed off.
❇{Clark’s POV}❇
Even when she’s angry she still look so pretty, i know she really want us to win this, and i also want us to win, i want me and Delphine to the hero and heroine of Stars high school, i want our names to be written in the record books at the best students who won this competition which lots of students failed to for years. I moved closer to her while she moved backward until her back touched the wall.
Gosh she’s so breathe taking and beautiful as always.
“i will forfeit my sleep just to study with you in here,” i said to her while she pushed me aside and went back to sit.
“you can have your way if you want, you can go and sleep. You’re not even so serious about this am damn tired of you,” she yelled at me but i just smiled and quickly sat down close to her until our hips touched, she turn to look at me maybe to confront me again for not been serious just then our face to touched and i could feel her breathe on my face which was nice, we spent a while staring at each other but quickly stopped when they door was opened…?
