⏩ Livvy was rushed to the hospital while Delphine and David were seated outside still in tears, Jason rushed in when he was told about what happen to Livvy.
An hour later, the doctor came out to meet with them.
“doc, how is she? how is my mom doing? Delphine asked in tears.
“she will be fine, but i don’t think she will regain back consciousness on time,” the doctor said.
“why will such thing happen to my daughter, where’s my daughter? Lee asked in tears.
“dad caused all this, if anything bad should happen to mom, he will never be my father again,” said David wiping the tears in his eyes. Delphine moved closer and hug him.
“mom will be fine, i pray she survive this, because i don’t know how else to survived without her,” said Delphine in tears.
“Delphine, David, you need some rest your mom will be fine, nothing bad will gonna happen to her,” he a-ssured them.
“thank you so much sir, i know you love my mom so much, thank you for being so much concern about us,” said David while Jason looked at Delphine but she only smiled back.
“thank you so much sir, we really appreciates,” she said then left. She stood outside still in tears wandering if her mom will regain back consciousness on time.
“Delphine! Milton called.
Delphine immediately turn to look at him then hug him in tears.
“what if she never make it Milton, my mom means everything to me,” Delphine cried in his arms.
“don’t think of that Delphine, i know your mom is a very strong woman she raise you to be strong, believe me she will struggle to survived even because of you and David because you also mean the world to her,” he said then patted her back.
“i really can’t believe daddy could do that to mom, am sure he’s happy now, if anything bad should happen to mom i will never forgive him,” Delphine cried.
“am here for you Delphine, you need to be strong, your mom will survived this,” he said as he held her cheek and tucked her hair at the back of her ear then ki-ssed her forehead.
Shortly after Delphine and David sat down on a bench while Milton arrived which he brou-ght them something to eat.
“you haven’t eat anything since morning,” he said looking at Delphine.
“you don’t expect to eat, while my mom is dying in their, am so scared Milton,”
Milton said nothing but hug her close to him.
“David, you need to eat something or at least drink some water,” said Milton to him.
“i just want to be close to my mom again,” he pout.
“Milton, i still can’t und-erstand why bad things keep on happening to good people, my family is already a mess now,”
“we all have different problems Delphine, but we need to be strong with dealing with all of them,” he said. Delphine rested her head on his shoulder, she felt so inspired and happy being with him.
❇Delphine walked in to check on her mom, everywhere seems so quiet, it already getting dark their grandma Lee has taken David to the house while Delphine has decided to stay back in the hospital to watch over her mom until she’s awake.
“mom, please get well soon at least for me, David and grandma even for your Jason cos i know you still like him,” Delphine said in a low tune, she sat down on a chair beside her and slept off till the next day.

❇The next morning Milton came over to check Delphine and her mom, he also stopped at a nearest restaurant and brou-ght some food for her.
“Milton, aren’t you going to school? she asked him as they went to sit at the waiting area.
“yes Delphine, i need to skipped school in order to be with you, you need someone by your side and i’ll always be here,” he smiled.
“thanks you so much Mil,” she replied smiling
.
Jason was seated beside Livvy in the ward as he held her hand softly.
“you need to survived this even for the sake of your children, it not been long we’ve saw each other you need to survived Livvy because i can’t imagine loosing you again, those behind this will pay for this,” he said.
.. Delphine and Milton walked in to check on Livvy but they already saw Jason in their.
“he’s Clark dad,” she said to him while Milton looked at her very surprise.
“is he dating your mom? he asked.
“maybe, but he’s a good person maybe even more than my dad, i can tell he still loves my mom, but am still worried, so scared of how they future will be,” she said so worried.
“Del, if this the only person that will make your mom so happy then allow it happen this way, maybe this the only way to have another complete family again, don’t miss this chance,” he said looking at her.
“so does that mean if mom and him get back together that jerk Clark will gonna be my step brother?
“sure,” Milton replied.
“well i just have to accept anything that come my way in order to make mom happy again,” she said while she heard a voice yelling outside, it seems like Morgan is already here,” she thought as she went out to check on him.
“dad,” she called out so angry.
“Delphine am only here to see you and David,” he said.
“do you still think you are our father after accusing our mom and allowing her pas-sthrou-ghso much pains, what type of father are you, you’ve always claim to love us while you don’t,” Delphine yelled at him.
“you don’t how how it feels to lose a child, your mom did the wrong thing, she was the main reason Maria to had a miscarriage,” he yelled.
“i was their when everything happen, shut up Morgan and stop being too deceitful,” Jason yelled back at him.
“please sir or rather Morgan can you just leave,” said Delphine which everyone was surprise to hear her call him with his name, even him was shocked to hear that. She quickly left without wasting much time while Milton immediately followed her.

“Delphine wait,” Milton quickly walked fast-er to catch up with her.
“Delphine..” he called out as he stood in front of her.
“i just have to forget if i have a father, because dad isn’t acting as one again, his becoming something else,” she cried on his shoulder.

?Delphine skipped school throu-ghout the whole week, she has reported to the school that she won’t be able to go on with the competition because she needed to take care of her mom, now their school has lost hope of wining the competition.
Livvy was awake but was still weak, Delphine and David were seated by her side with their grandma who were all glad to see Livvy back to life again because it was indeed a miracle.
A week Later Livvy was discharged back home and Delphine has been all day at home to take care of her.
“Delphine, you need go back to school i will take care of your mom myself,” said her grandma.
“no grandma, i can only resume back to school when mom has fully recover i don’t want anything to happen to her again,” Delphine said as she stood up and went outside to get something, she bumped into Milton who was coming in.
“Milton!
“Delphine, how’s your mom doing? he asked.
“she’s recovering already, thanks a lot for always been here for me,” she said while Micheal moved closer to her.
“i will always be here for you because i love you so much Del, i believe we’ll scale throu-ghthis,” he said staring at her then down to her pink li-ps, he moved closer and ki-ssed her on the li-ps?.. *First ki-ss taken*
