⏩ “sir, does that mean i will be the only one to represent our school in the final round of the competition? Delphine asked her teacher.
“yes Delphine, their’s nothing we can do and we can’t replace anyone. Delphine you just need to be serious am sure you can do this,”.
“thank you sir,” Delphine smiled then left and meet Milton already at the gate waiting for her.
“so what about it? Milton asked.
“nothing, am gonna do this alone, i feel so discourage about this Milton, i feel like quiting it,”
“Clark should have at least wait until you’re done with this, he’s acting so stupid atimes, now the whole school is depending on him, it now the right time to show
the school with or without Clark you’re capable of wining this competition, i trust you Delphine,” Milton smile.
“thanks Milton, anyway with you here with me i think am gonna win this,” she smiled.
?Delphine arrived home and meet her mother sleeping while her grandma was at the sitting room.
“grandma, why is mom asleep i thought she’s still at work? Delphine asked then sat down beside her grandma.
“she quit the job,”
“what! she did.. but why..? Delphine asked very surprise.
“because of you. Delphine you shouldn’t have said that to your mother, do you know what she has pa-ssed throu-ghwhen your dad divorce her and now the only friend Jason she’s holding on to you still don’t like him. Livvy isn’t that bad as you thought, to tell you the truth Jason was her close friend even before she knew your dad, she said if quiting her job and being far away from Jason will make you happy then she will do that just to see you happy, but know that she’ll be sad all the rest of her life,” said Lee.
“Grandma, i was so upset, i know i was rude to her and i regret ever telling her that but she shouldn’t quit her job i was just worried about my dad,”
“about Morgan, Delphine do you expect your mom to go on her knees begging for Morgan to accept her back, what crime has she committed. I think you’re still young to und-erstand what your mom is pa-ssing throu-gh, aren’t you happy seeing her smile with Jason in her life again? Lee asked her.
“i am Grandma,” Delphine replied with a teary eyes.
“i also want your family to be complete but everything is too late. Morgan has gone too far with Maria and so as Livvy with Jason, you need get along with your mother again, i miss seeing the two of you together,”
“i will grandma, i will talk to her later,” Delphine hug-ged her wiping the tears from her eyes.
⏩Morgan and Maria arrived from Italy and settle back in their house.
“home at last,” Morgan dressed up and join Maria at the dining room.
“i wish we’ll never return back here again i hate to see Livvy,” said Maria.
“and am not sure if Delphine and David will want to see me, well i trust Livvy i just hope she’ll take care of them,” he said.
“whatever Morgan, i just hate to hear you call that name and beside am already pregnant so you’ll be expecting another baby isn’t that enough,” said Maria busy with her food.
After dinner Morgan went down to played his piano all alone and all he could remember was his children.
⏩ Livvy was already dressed up to meet up with Jason for the last time because he told her he’ll be leaving to Mexico to check on Clark and maybe persuade him to come back.
“mom,” Delphine called as she entered the room while Livvy picked up her bag to leave.
“mom am sorry about what i said to you,” she said.
“no one has ever made me feel so bad, what you said really hurt Delphine, am only doing this for you and David. I have to return back the car he gave me, i have to quit working with him maybe that will make you happy Delphine, your happiness matters a lot to me but then don’t be so selfish and only think about what you want, you also have to consider what i want,” Livvy yelled in tears then walked out without waiting for Delphine to say anything, Delphine sat down and cried silently.
? Livvy arrived and meet Jason at the home.
“is that really necessary? Livvy asked him.
“yes Livvy i need to do this for Clark i don’t want him to hate me, and if my departure will settle everything between you and your daughter then that will be much better i don’t want our friendship to affect our children,” he said while Livvy stared at him.
“you’re right Jason, we can’t just forget about our children and just think about ourselves alone, i wish you’ll come back soon,” She hug-ged him.
“of course i will, everything will work out good for us,” he patted her back then ki-ssed her hair.
Few minutes, Livvy and Jason went out to the restaurant and have great time together, later in the evening Jason and Livvy took a stroll down to the street when a car stopped in front of them and Maria came out looking so angry.
“Livvy you’ll pay for what you did,
don’t use those stupid children of yours to get back at Morgan, you once took him away from me and now i smartly took what rightful belong to me at first so don’t try to be a saint,” Maria yelled at her.
“stop this Maria,” said Jason while Maria gave him a look then turn to Livvy and keep on insulting her.
“Maria you should blame yourself for everything, for not being able to settle down, for not being responsible to have your own children and husband that why he came back rushing to have Morgan, destroying my married life, you’re such a low life Maria,” Livvy blurted out so angry while Maria raised her hand to slap her but Livvy held it back, Maria moved a step backward and stumble on a stone she fall to the ground and gave a loud scream, she was already bleeding and was scared she might lose her baby.
“Maria are you okay? Said Livvy so worried as she helped her get into car and hurried to the hospital.

?Morgan arrived to the hospital so worried and he was angry when he saw Livvy with Jason.
“where’s my wife? he asked so worried.
The doctor immediately came out looking a bit sad.
“what about Maria? Morgan asked.
“am sorry but we lost the baby, she had a miscarriage,” the doctor said then left.
Morgan hurriedly walked in to Maria’s ward and found her crying.
“she killed our baby, Livvy plan this all, she killed my child,” Maria cried. Morgan angrily went out to Livvy.
what did you did to Maria? she has lost the baby,” Morgan yelled at her.
“i did nothing to her Morgan, stop accusing me of this,” Livvy yelled while Morgan slapped her.
“stop this Morgan, aren’t you ashamed of yourself,” Jason pushed him back. Without wasting much time Morgan called the police and Livvy was arrested immediately, he also press charges against her in the court for murderer.
⏩That same evening Jason inform Lee about what happen and she immediately went to check on Livvy at the prison with Delphine.
“Mom,” Delphine hug-ged her so tight to her.
“your dad did this to me, he accuse of this, was this the kind of dad you still want? Livvy asked Delphine in tears.
“i can’t believe dad could do this to you, i guess i was wrong about him, am really sorry mom,” Delphine hug-ged her again.
“why will Maria blame you for this,” said Lee in tears.
“please sir, you need to help my mom get out of here,” Delphine pleaded with Jason.
“i will never allow anything bad happen to your mom Delphine,” Jason a-ssured her.
Maria stood in front of her mirror she has just finish making a phone call with someone.
“Livvy you’ll pay for messing up with me, for killing my own baby, i will make sure you pay this with your life, after you’re death, Morgan will bring back your kids to this house and i will kill them,” she smiled to herself.
?The next day Delphine have to skipped school to go and check on her mom at the prison, David also went alone with her.
“but why would dad take mom to prison and why will he even believe she killed his baby,” said David.
“i don’t know, all i want is for mom to be out of this place, she doesn’t deserves to suffer this way,” said Delphine. Soon they heard a noise from afar and they police quickly rushed to check what was happening.
Delphine and David were shocked to see their mother Livvy on a stretcher with blood gushing from her stomach, they ran to her in tears and asked what happen?
“she was stab with knife by some of the prisoners,” one of the man said.
Livvy vision was already blur but she could still see her children, Delphine held her hand but she was so weak to speak and has lost a lot of blood.
“mom,” Delphine cried as she held her hands. Livvy looked at her kids for the last time as her eyes closed and her breathe stopped.
The police looked at her for a while and shook their head, they rushed her outside and some were investigating who stab her…
