⏩ Nicole was still at home so angry with herself about her break up with Clark she told her mom about it.
“Clark has been of great help to us, he was the one giving me money for everything i asked for, but he will still gonna pay for everything, for breaking up with me
for no good reason,” Nicole yelled while her mother walked in.
“Nicole, this battle isn’t over yet, go and complete your mission, you need to, you need to be wise about it,” her mother said while Nicole nodded her head and sat back on her bed.
“i will handle Clark myself,” her mother smiled to herself.
⏩ Weeks later.⏩

Delphine and Clark were done with first and second round of they competition which they were all qualify for the last round which will be held in Singapore, but yet they’re not getting alone because Milton has always wanted to be so close to Delphine. The school was already on holiday. Delphine really enjoyed the Christmas holiday with her family and most especially Milton, ever since they went on holiday she haven’t heard from Clark and doesn’t even know how he was doing.
? It was a very cool Saturday morning which was Livvy’s birthday, Delphine and David were all having it in mind to celebrate her birthday later in the evening when they heard a knock on the door.
“some flowers for you Mrs. Murphy,” said a man hold a bouquet of beautiful flowers as he gave Livvy.
“thanks but mind you am not longer Mrs. Murphy again,” Livvy said as she collect the flower and on top was a note which reads:- “Happy Birthday Love” Livvy smiled to herself as she read it.
“who are those flowers from? is it daddy? David asked.
“No David, your dad is not even in the country, he went on vacation with his new wife Maria,” said Livvy, she kept the flowers aside and sat down on a couch.
“beautiful flowers,” Delphine said as she walked in.
“mom, we have a surprise for you today, Delphine chuckle.
“you don’t need to spent anything on me,” said Livvy.
“no mom you deserves something today is your birthday,” Delphine smiled then went out.
Livvy looked at the flowers again and thought about Jason, maybe he was the one that sent those flowers, she thought.
Later in the evening, Delphine and David were done with their arrangement, the dining table was set beautifully with enough food and drink to eat. Everyone settle and they had dinner together, Delphine also invited Milton over their which make it so wonderful.
Delphine and David represent a gift to their mother.
“for the best mother ever,” they chorused as they gave her a gift in a small box.
“you shouldn’t have spent this, is too much,” Livvy said.
“no mom you deserve more than this, Milton have help us in this and we also needed to save some money to buy you this jewelry,” said Delphine smiling.
“come here,” Livvy, dragged Delphine and David close to her then hug-ged them.
“thank you so much,” she smile then looked at Milton who was also smiling.
“thank you too Milton, i really appreciate,” she said.
After dinner Livvy phone rang as she picked the call which was Jason calling her.
“can you step outside, am already their,” he said then hang up.
“who’s that mom? Delphine asked.
“just a minute, i’ll be right back,” she said then hurriedly left while Delphine followed her outside.
Livvy was shocked by the surprise birthday gift Jason brou-ght for her it was a brand new car covered with flowers.
“happy birthday Livvy,” he said as he gave her the car keys.
“Jason, this for me? she asked very surprise because she didn’t expect that from him.
“please Livvy don’t reject my offer, for the five years of our relationship we’ve been together back then i wasn’t able to give you this nor take good care of you, please Livvy allow me to so now,” he pleaded.
“But.. this too much Jason, you shouldn’t have spent much money on me,” she said with a teary eyes.
“you deserves more than this Livvy because you’re very important in my life,” he said then hug-ged her. Delphine was behind and was surprise by what she was seeing.
“thank you so much Jason, and thanks for the flowers you’ve sent earlier,”
“flowers? i didn’t sent any flowers, did anyone send you flowers? he asked
“humm.. yes but i guess it my colleague, i will just ask them later,” she said then smile a bit.
“i have to tell my children the truth now, i will tell them about you,” she said while he nodded.
“what about Clark your son, have you told him you’ve seen me already? she asked.
“not yet, Livvy am afraid of what Clark will do when he find out that me and you are now friends, he don’t even know if I’ve found you. Moreover Clark is already in Mexico and i don’t think he’s coming back ever again,” he said looking so worried.
“we’ll talk about this later, let go in,” Livvy held his hands and they turn to leave but she saw Delphine behind them.
“Delphine!
“mom.. who is he? she stammered.
“he’s Jason Robinson, the one i once told you about,” she said.
“he most be Clark’s father right? she asked very shocked.
“you know Clark already? what a coincidence,” said Livvy while Delphine said nothing but walked in. Lee was surprise to see Jason and Livvy entered but she said nothing.
“David this my friend Jason,” she introduce him to her two children and her mother although he already knew her mother.
They had a great time together, Jason cracked lots of jokes for them which make their evening so wonderful, David seems to like Jason already but Delphine was still uncomfortable with him around especially when she knows he’s Clark’s father.
After some fews hours, Delphine settle in her room to sleep, Jason has left and also Milton, she enjoyed the evening but didn’t like Jason being over their.
“”you mean Jason brou-ght you this new car? Lee asked.
“yes mom, rejecting this will only made Jason get hurt again, am just glad seeing him happy again,” said Livvy smiling.
“yes dear but i wish Morgan will come back to right senses before it too late, i want your family to be complete just like before so that your children will have their own father with them. Jason is also a good person, anyway just think right about this and make the right decision,” said Lee.
Livvy went to check on David but he was asleep while she went to Delphine.
“Delphine i know you don’t like Jason but that won’t stop me from being friends with him, he’s the only one i have got,” said Livvy.
“mom, don’t tell me you love him already, what about dad? we still need him, i just want our family back stop chasing after him,” Delphine said so angry.
“am not chasing him Delphine, try to und-erstand me,” Livvy said.
“No mom, first you got married to dad because of his money and now you want to be friends with Jason because of his money, don’t go about chasing other men because you were so frustrated of your divorce, don’t be gold-digger, you left Jason years back because he couldn’t pay the immediate money needed for your dad treatment and then married my dad, at your age you’re so unstable mom! Delphine yelled while Livvy landed a heavy slap on her face.
“don’t talk to me that way,” Livvy yelled as tears drop from her eyes and quickly walked out of the room slamming the door behind. Livvy rushed to her room and cried silently she couldn’t believe Delphine will be the one to tell her this. She remembered about the flowers she got and yet she hasn’t know who sent it.

?School resumes and everyone resumed looking good and happy aside from Delphine who hasn’t been getting alone with her mother for some days. It been a week now Clark hasn’t attend school and this make Delphine worried because the will complete the final round of the competition in two weeks time while Clark hasn’t show up yet.
“hey Eric,” Delphine stopped to ask one of Clark’s friends about his whereabout.
“Clark has relocate back to Mexico during the holiday, he staying back over their and never to return again,” he said then left which make Delphine feel more sad. She walked to the clas-sand meet Sarah and Amy.
“haven’t you heard about the bad news? Sarah asked her.
“what bad news? Delphine asked.
“Clark has relocate to Mexico, that were he grew up afterall, he’s not coming back again, his dad just reported to the school and they school authorities were sad about it most especially about the competition you’re about to finish,” said Sarah
“what! then i can’t do that alone, Clark has been of great help during the competition, why will he have to leave this time!” said Delphine so worried.
“well i had that the school will gonna replace someone with Clark or maybe you can do it alone, too bad am gonna miss Clark,” said Sarah.
“i just can’t und-erstand why things are working out this way, so bad..” she said Delphine to herself as she stood up and left…
Clark has finally relocate back to Mexico and never to return..?? what did you think about this..?
