“Why don’t we rest a little?” C@$$andra asked the others
They’ve been walking and searching for hours without stop
“Yes plea-se,I really nee-d the rest” Odile,another girl said with a gro-an
“We don’t have to rest as if we are sick,,just drink some water and let’s continue. I’m not even tired,,” Odette scoffed
“But I am tired” C@$$andra snapped
“Then rest while the rest of us continue with the search,just follow me and everything will be fine,trust me” Odette said
“Well I’m trusting you,,I mean we’ve gotten twenty,isn’t that amazing?” br@n smiled
“Twenty is not enough reason to think we are gonna win this,,I wish I am in Kingston’s team” C@$$andra hissed
“That’s enough C@$$andra,you don’t have to complain for us here you should have just told master your complaints,it’s useless now because you’re in this team alre-ady” Seth said
“That’s why I am saying it’s just unfortunate to be here” C@$$andra roll her eyes
“And I justfu-cking said you can get lost!” Odette snapped angrily
“Don’tfu-cking yell at me!” C@$$andra also snapped
Odette almost rushed toward her but br@n gr@bb£d her before she bounced on C@$$andra
“The blame is gonna be on you,so don’t mind her” br@n said
Odette exhaled
“Let’s continue,,once we get more five,we will take a rest” She said and they all nodded aside C@$$andra though.

TAIL CHASERS**
They all fell on the ground tiredly
Sera-phina And Persephone brou-ght out some snacks to eat,Avalon and Damon sat down separately while the other two also sat down separately.
“I wonder how the others are doing” Sera-phina spoke up
“I don’t know why I am having this feeling that we can’t win” Avalon said and the others faced him with a question look
“Don’t get me wrong,,I’m sure other teams have this thoughts too” Avalon said and Persephone nodded
“We’ve gotten just ten treasures and it’s getting late,,what the h*ll. Are we in the right place” Damon muttered
“We can’t lose hope guys,let’s do this” Another girl called Tara In the team said
“Should we continue?” Damon asked
“Well,,you’re the leader. We are following your orders” Sera-phina said sipping from the bottle in the hand
“Then let’s continue” Damon stood up first and the rest also did
Suddenly Avalon looked up,
“What’s wrong?” Persephone asked
“Did anyone hear that noise?” Avalon aslrd
“I think I did,,,,” Damon didn’t finish his statement when Tara suddenly started sinking,the ground covering her up
“Ahh!!!” She screamed
“Tara!” Persephone shouted and rushed toward her,,she held her hand but almost immediately she also fell into the sinking ground
That was when Damon and Avalon ran to them,,Damon managed to help Tara out.
“Hold me ti-ghtly,,come on” Avalon said to Persephone
She nodded and gr@bb£d Avalon’s hand really ti-ght,,he helped her up and they both fell on the ground.
“Are you okay?” Persephone asked,,she was still on top of him
Avalon nodded
“I’m sorry” Persephone immediately got up and Avalon also stood up
“Let’s get out of here” Sera-phina said and immediately they started running

THE RUMMAGERS**
“Damn it” Jupiter muttered as she fell on the ground tiredly
Everyone also sat down while Alice was standing
“What Is it Alice,aren’t you tired?” Jove asked
“Of course I am” She muttered and moved closer to them,,her eyes met with Kingston’s before sitting down next to Jupiter
“We haven’t asked about what we found,,we’ve been splitting all day” Linus said
“I and Ajax managed to get just five,,isn’t that crazy?” Jove scoffed
“Well I think yours is better cos we got,,,three” Jupiter laughed
“That’s 8” Alice muttered
“What about you two?” Linus asked
“Ten” Alice win-ked and they all g-asped
“What?!”
Alice nodded grinning
“So all together we have 18,,we are doing great” Jove said
“It’s getting dark and cold” Ajax muttered staring at the sky
“Let’s do something about that” Jupiter grinned and snapped her fin-gers together,,immediately different lights c@m£ up
“Wow” Alice g-asped staring at the beautiful bulbs
“This is amazing” Linus said and stood up
“Kingston,,we nee-d warmth. Do something” Jupiter said and without Kingston ma-king a movement,a blazing fire appeared
“Great” Jupiter stood up first and moved closer to the fire,Alice also followed
“What if we don’t win?” Linus asked
“It’s nothing,I really don’t care” Kingston scoffed
“Well me too,,but what about the girls” Jove muttered
“Well,,,I’m not keeping my hopes high. But,,,I have a feeling we aren’t using 48 hours,it’s just a prank. So if we are resting right now,we are wasting our time. But i Don’t care” Linus said
Kimgton nodded
“It’s actually not 48 hours,,anytime soon” Kingston said
“Then why are we resting? Shouldn’t we be searching?” Ajax asked
“You can continue,but for me,,I’m not doing anything” Linus said

Jupiter and Alice sat down beside the fire silently,Alice was lost in thought. The fact that Kingston won’t talk to her is ma-king her mad but it’s even more worst because she’s not mad at Kingston,she’s only mad at herself because she’s finding it ha-rd to stop thinking about it.
She heaved out a sigh as she stared at the sky
Jupiter turned her face to her,she wanted to ask what was going on between her and Kingston but she kept quiet
‘Not like we are close or something,,I still don’t like her’ Jupiter thought and scoffed before looking away
“I can hear you” Alice said and faced her
Jupiter was startled
“You,,,you can re-ad my mind?” She asked and Alice nodded
Jupiter frowned
“That’s not cool” She said
“I wasn’t planning to listen but it c@m£ right into my head” Alice replied
Jupiter scoffed
“Anyhow” She muttered
“Wanna swim?” Alice asked
“Where? Is there a pool here?” Jupiter askrd
“Right now I feel disconsolate,so I wanna swim them out. Are you in or not” Alice asked
“If there’s a pool,,then I’m in” Jupiter nodded
“Let’s make one” Alice win-ked
“This doesn’t make us friends” Jupiter said
“I’m not trying to make friends with you” Alice suppressed a laughter
“Then,,let’s do this” Jupiter sm-irked
“Okay,,I’ve never tried this but I suddenly want to” Alice muttered and stood up,,Jupiter also followed
They moved away from the fire and Alice roll her sleeves up and stood In akimbo
“Go on” Jupiter said
“Okay” Alice whimpered and Stretched out one of her hands to the dry land In front of them
“Girl,,you’re bringing out ice not water” Jupiter said
“Just watch me” Alice said not taking her eyes from what she’s doing and eventually she made a pool of water
Jupiter clapped and Alice smiled also looking at what she did.

“What are they doing?” Ajax called the guys attention amd they all turned
“Guys!! Come over let’s swim!!” Jupiter screamed out
“Swim? Is there a river or pool or something?” Linus asked
“Alice made one,,hurry” Jupiter called
Jove and Linus stood up immediately with Ajax
“Kingston,come on” Jupiter called and he stood up and walked to them
“Bet the water is gonna be cold” Linus muttered and di-pped his hand in it
“Freezing” He said and they laughed
“Oh no” Alice let out a short smile
Kingston squ-atted and to-uched the water before standing up again
“You can try it out now” He said
“I trust you” Jupiter gave him a thumb up before tou-ching it,it’s warm.
Alice and Jupiter started pu-lling off her clothes
“Turn per-verts!” Alice yelled and the boys chuckled before turning back
They only faced them again when the two girls jumped into the water
“Wow!! This is so comfortable,,guys cpme on. Let’s do this together” Jupiter said swimming around alre-ady
The boys exchanged glances and immediately started taking off their clothes too.

Kingston was sitting alone when Alice walked over to him and sat down beside him,the others are still in the water giggling out loudly. Kingston didn’t even look at Alice as she sat down,,
Alice sighed
“You know it will be better if you just tell me what’s going on rather than giving me a silent treatment right?” Alice asked and he faced her
He opened his mouth like he wanted to say something but kept quiet again
“If you keep on avoiding me and not talking to me,,,it’s going to make me sad,,I am alre-ady sad” Alice mumbled and took herl-ips in
“I just have a lot on my mind,,” Kingston said
“You can share with me,,I don’t mind. But keeping distance like this isn’t cool,,I don’t want that” Alice sighed
“I will be fine” Kingston said
There was silence until Alice’s head fell on his shoulder,she was fast asleep.
Kingston looked at her and sighed
‘The silence and distance is killing me too,,but I don’t want you to be in danger just because of my messed up life’ Kingston thought.

NEXT DAY**
SCHOOL OF THE GIFTED**
All the teams are back,they ended up not using 48 hours,,it was just a mistell from the beginning just to get them unaware.
“Welcome back everyone” Master Min said,some visible smiles pla-ying on hisl-ips even though it’s just a little
The other students are all pres-ent also watching the scene,some are just eager to know the winners
“Yes master!” The teams chorused and he nodded
“How was it? Nob©dy got hurt right?” He asked
“No master!”
He nodded again
“So,,,how about we start with the result?”
The murmurs started immediately
? I am sure Kingston’s team are winning this
? Kingston’s team
“Its crazy because everyone expect us to win” Linus whispers
“We don’t nee-d their opinions” Alice scoffed
“Team Tail Chasers?” Master Min called and Damon moved forward to drop the treasure
“Twenty five treasures” He said
*Wow,,that’s a lot*
The students murmured
Alice and Jupiter smiled at each other
“Good,,Deer Stalkers?”
Odette moved forward with confident and dropped the treasure
“Fifty” She said and everyone g-asped including the other two teams
“How the h*ll did they get fifty?” Linus asked
“They searched obviously” Jove said sarcastically
“Rummagers?” Master Min called
Kingston moved out coldly and dropoed it
“Thirty five” He said
“Argh!!!!!!!!” The Deer Stalkers screamed and started jumping while the other teams stood still,,
“I can’t believe this,,I was so confident when we got thirty five,,this is crazy” Jupiter said watching the winning team dancing while the students hailed them
Kingston simply walked away
“Honestly I am sad” Alice sighed
“See you later” Jove and Linus muttered before walking away
“Alice!!” Sera-phina and Persephone rushed to hu-g her
Jupiter roll her eyes and walked away.
“Did you see that? Odette’s team won” Sera-phina smiled
“I’m happy for her” Alice smiled
“Me too”

A VILLAGE FARAWAY**
A SMALL HOUSE**
“I think am gonna die” She muttered as she dropped the book in her hand
It’s the book her granny gave her for her 19th birthday,she’s a witch from birth but her demon bec@m£ active just last month,her 19th birthday and now she’s stuck with the book,re-ading and studying more about witches.
She got down from the be-d and left the room,,she went straight to the kitchen and drank a gl@$$ of water before going back to her room..
She was almost sitting down and taking the book again when the voice called
“Moon!!”
“Yes Granny!!” She immediately jumped out of be-d and ran out
She got to the livingroom and was shocked to see her old man,her father actually
“Father!!!” She shouted and rushed to hu-g him
The old granny smiled seeing how happy she is
“Baby is so grown” John said
“You missed my birthday again” Moon pouted
“I will make it up to you” John said before sitting down
“I will get you a cu-p of water” Moon said and left the living room.
“Did you tell her anything yet?” John faced the granny
“Not at all,,tell her yourself” Granny replied and he nodded
“Here” Moon returned with a smile and handed the cu-p to her father
“Thank you” He smiled before taking the water and gulped everything down
“Well I have a good news for You” John said and Moon shifted immediately
“I am taking you to a perfect school where you can learn your powers better” John said
“Huh?? But,,what about granny” Moon asked and granny smiled
“It’s okay,,someone else will come here to take care of her. I won’t for-ce you,but trust me you will like this school” John said
Moon turned to granny and Granny nodded
“I don’t want to leave you” Moon said and hu-gged her
“I will be fine,,you nee-d to master your powers” Granny said
“When are we leaving?” Moon asked
“Tomorrow,,so you still have enough time to spend with granny” John smiled

Moon collap-sed on the be-d after arranging her stuffs into the bag
“How will the school look like? Gosh why now?” She muttered with a sigh
*Come on,,let’s do this. We may find our mate over there,what do you think?* Serpentine,her demon side said and Moon pursed herl-ips
*Well,I’ve never thought about having a mate. I’m still 19* Moon sighed
*I have a feeling we are getting one soon,,a hot one* Serpentina said
Moon immediately disconnected the mind link and closed her eyes thinking about how tomorrow is gonna be.
