episode 59
Marcel wasn’t surprised when the saw the CCTV footage, kimberly was taken to the hotel with a gun pointed at her rib, she couldn’t scream because she knew her life would be in danger.
the manager was surprised, he didn’t know something like that happened in his hotel.
he turned to look at the guy controling the camera room for explanation but the guy kept quiet.
he remembered that very day Becky had brou-ght food for him and they got talking and the next minutes they decided to do a quickie, that could have been the time the guys entered and he didn’t noticed.
MARCEL
I’m very disappointed, as big as this hotel is you still employe incompetent staffs…..you will hear from us that I promise you.
He said and started to go out, Derrick who was still in shock just followed his brother like a dummy.
Marcel thanks officer James and tolu for coming, he asked them to greet his good friend for him.
they shook hands before Marcel drove away with his brother.
DERRICK
mum said she bribed the receptionist, but in the video they walked in like regular customers and booked for a room….why did mum lie?
MARCEL
my instincts are never wrong, I knew something was fishy when you mentioned mum in the whole story….from the video you already know Kim didn’t sleep with those men willingly, she was for-ced…what I still don’t get is how she met them, if mum sent them or they are guys she have hurt in the past….you nee-d to go see her and hear from her.
DERRICK
I don’t know what to think right now, if truly mum is involved in this, how can I ever face kimberly after all mum have done to her, after all the hurtful things o said to her… Jesus please let my mother not be involved in this.
MARCEL
calm down, should we drive to her place so you could talk to her?
DERRICK
let’s just go home, right now I just want to sleep, when by morning I will realize it has all been a dream.
MARCEL
alright, let’s go home for today by tomorrow we continue.
Derrick turn his face to the otherside of the window, so many thoughts running throu-ghhis mind, he couldn’t help but shed a few tears.
Kimberly’s test result came out earlier and it was comfirm that she was brutality ra-ped, clarissa insisted they run a test on her sister to know if she was going crazy, it took hours before the result finally came out… doctor willams made clarissa go un-derstand that her sister was still in shock, and she’s behaving like that due to the shock.
clarissa begged him to help kimberly, she would die if anything happen to her only blood.
all throu-ghthe time they got to the hospital clarissa hasn’t stop crying, she hated herself for neglecting her sister, if she had been around maybe kimberly would have talked to her about it.
THE NEXT DAY
Marcel and Derrick drove into kimberly’s compound, Usman wasn’t please to see Derrick at all, he was angry Derricksl abandoned kimberly for weeks and only showed only when her situation got worse.
USMAN
Good morning
DERRICK
Usman how are you….is your madam in?
USMAN
no, she’s not
DERRICK
You seem upset about something…what is it?
USMAN
where have you been sir? for weeks my madam was in this house alone, acting crazy, starving herself, screaming and laughing to herself like a mad woman….where were you? how can you say you love a woman when you can’t even stand by her? feel her pain? what kind of love is that?
(Usman told him angrily)
MARCEL
acting crazy you say?
USMAN
It’s better you both leave this place, anuty Clarissa came yesterday and took my madam to the hospital, don’t border asking me which hospital because I won’t tell you.
Derrick wanted to talk but what could he have possibly said “I left Kimberly because she said she never want to see me again, because I saw pictures of her with other men”? what could he possibly say?
He knew de-ep down Usman was right, what kind of love does he have for her that he couldn’t un-derstand her, or see the pains in that toughness. just once Marcel looked at the picture he knew something was wrong, why didn’t he know something was wrong when mum approached him with those pictures.
MARCEL
honestly Usman I don’t blame you for getting so angry, and at the same time you can’t blame my brother for staying away…no man will see pictures of his womm with another and not react…..take a very good look at him too, he has been a wreck ever since he stopped seeing your madam….I’m sure the both of them can settle this on their own….please help us, tell us the hospital she is admitted.
Usman thought for a while, looked at Derrick and realized how frustrated the young man looked himself.
he decided to give them the address of the hospital.
Derrick was surprised when Usman mentioned the name of his hospital.
clarissa didn’t know Derrick is a doctor or where his hospital is, she wouldn’t have taken hkim there.
Marcel and Derrick entered the car and drove away.
Soon they arrived at the hospital, Derrick asked one of his nurses where kimberly was admitted they told him and he ran into her ward with his brother following from behind.
His staffs wondered why he was looking lIke and why he has absent himself fr work for good one week without a word.
without knocking Derrick barged in on clarissa who was seating beside her sister.
CLARISSA
(Shocked)
what are you doing here and how did you find me?
DERRICK
I’m so sorry clarissa, please let me explain
CLARISSA
explain what? that you knew my sister was missing for days and you couldn’t tell me? please I want you and your brother to leave this place….you have done enough.
(she screamed at them)
Her scream made kimberly to wake up, the drugs and injection they gave her the previous day was making her a little calm.
she looked at her environment, then her eyes caught with Marcel and Derrick and she started to scream.
KIMBERLY
stay away from me, get out of here, you children of a witch…..leave me alone.
she kept shouting, clarissa was surprised at her sister’s outburst, she begged Marcel and Derrick to leave.
but instead Derrick called one of his nurses and she came running, he asked her to get a sedative injection, the nurse ran out immediately and within second she was back with it.
Marcel helped Derrick in holding kimberly down while he imjected her.
immediately kimberly fell asleep again.
clarissa was shocked and confuse.
CLARISSA
what is going on here?
DERRICK
This is my hospital
CLARISSA
what? you are a doctor? how come….
she was saying then she stopped and smiled, it was obvious she knows nothing about these two, they are nothing but liars.
MARCEL
Clarissa…
CLARISSA
hey, just hold it right there….this hospital might belong to you guys but I don’t care, I’m here to have my sister treated but if you don’t stop showing your lying faces here I will have no choice but to take her away….now leave.
she said pointing at the door.

Marcel and Derrick took the hospital as their home, they will never leave until Clarissa and Kim spoke to them.
for one week they have been at the hospital, begging and trying to get the girls to hear them out.
Mrs Elizabeth on the other hand has been planning the exact punishment to give Clarissa for slapping Mirabelle and for insulting her….she thought of killing her but then she felt that would be too suspicious so she decided to treat clarissa the way she treated Kim.
she had no idea Clarissa and Kim are blood related.
King Mason felt like he was no longer the king but his wife, she rule the house and control even the life of their kids.
for a week now his hasn’t seen his last son and he hasn’t been picking his calls.
He was sure something was definitely wrong.
Mrs Elizabeth sat in the living room, she was watching a program when a maid came to inform her that the king demands for presence.
she got up and joined her husband in the throne room
MRS ELIZABETH
my king you sent for me
KING MASON
Where is Derrick?
MRS ELIZABETH
I’m surprise you are asking me the whereabouts of your son….I don’t know where he is.
KING MASON
are you a mother at all? for a week now your son hasn’t come back home and you don’t care?
MRS ELIZABETH
who said I don’t care? or until I rob myself on the ground, tear my dress before you know I’m worried? look our children are no longer kids, they can take care of themselves.
KING MASON
I’m glad you know they are no longer kids, look Elizabeth for the past twenty seven years that we have been married I have showed you nothing but love….do not let me show you what I look like if I’m not loving you….pray nothing happens to those boys because your trouble is what chase them out in the first place…..you may now leave my presence.
Mrs Elizabeth felt very angry that her husband is being rude to her, she thought of killing him but then his death would mean Marcel becoming the king and that boy is too stubborn she won’t be able to control him….”thank your stars I don’t want Marcel to become king yet, I would have sent you to an early grave” she thought inwardly.
Derrick was at the reception giving out order to one of his nurses when he saw clarissa pas-sed, it seem like she was going to buy something, immediately clarissa caught eyes with him, she looked away and went her way.
Derricksl quickly called his brother who was sleeping in his office that clarissa just went out, it would be the perfect time to speak to her.
immediately Marcel ran after clarissa, he met her in front of her car, she wanted to drive home to pick a few things but it seems like she has a flat Tyre.
MARCEL
Hi
(he said from behind her)
clarissa recognize the voice, she frown her face before turning to face him.
CLARISSA
what are you still doing here?
MARCEL
it seems like you have a flat Tyre, where are you going I can drive you?
CLARISSA
Thank you I can find my way home.
MARCEL
please clarissa, don’t you think you have punished me enough? I won’t treat you this way if the situation was different.
CLARISSA
Really is that the game you want to play now?
MARCEL
I’m not playing any game, I’m just stating the obvious, I love you so much and you know it….i told you about the woman my mum is forcing me to marry didn’t I?
CLARISSA
except you lied about been a prince, let me even ask you a question…were you aware my sister went missing for days?
MARCEL
I did but I didn’t want you to border….
CLARISSA
you didn’t want me to border? well, see where that has landed us…..i can’t do this right now Marcel.
she said and started to walk outside the gate to get a taxi, Marcel knew if he miss this opportunity he might never get another one so he ran after her and knelt down before her.
CLARISSA
marcel, what are you doing? please stand up
MARCEL
please clarissa I’m sorry for lying to you, I swear that’s the only lie I have ever told you….i feel miserable without you in my life please.
pas-serby have started to gather to see what was happening but marcel didn’t care, all he cares about was to be forgiven… for the first time in days clarissa took a proper looked at him, she saw how rou-ghand unkept he looked.
she felt pity for him, she held his hands and pulled him up.
CLARISSA
I forgive you
she said and marcel hu-gged her ti-ghtly
before Marcel and Clarissa could even leave the sp-ot some pas-serby who gathered to watch the drama started to upload the video they made with different caption.
clarissa followed Marcel to where he packed his car and he took her home.
Derrick went into Kim’s ward, he wasn’t scared of facing her anymore, all he felt was just guilt of not believing her, guilt of not listening to her…. Kim was playing a song on her phone, her eyes close but she wasn’t sleeping.
Derrick thought she was sleeping so he turn to go back but Kim opened her eyes.
KIMBERLY
Have you come to talk with me, or you have come to call me a sl-ut?
DERRICK
(He turn to look at her)
I came to talk with you.
KIMBERLY
Take a seat then.
Derrick was surprised at the way Kim was reacting, though he un-derstand that the too much drugs that she was injection was the cause of her previous behavior, but she seem naturally calm today.
KIMBERLY
are you scared that I might jump down from this bed and hit you?
DERRICK
I know you can’t hurt me intentionally.
he said taking the available seat in the room, Kim expected him to talk but Derrick suddenly ran out of what to say, he didn’t know the question he will ask her that will seem right to listen.
KIMBERLY
I thought you wanted to talk?
DERRICK
Yeah, but I feel so very ashamed of myself Kim, all of a sudden I lack what to say.
KIMBERLY
okay….then seat down and enjoy the comfort of my ward.
Derrick immediately went on his knees, to him it seems it was the best thing to do for hurting her so badly.
Kim wasn’t even aware that Derrick already started finding out the truth about the pictures, she thought he was apologizing for not checking up on her and findingher in a condition like this.
KIMBERLY
please get up, it hadn’t gotten to that yet
DERRICK
Please allow me to remain like this because of what I want to say.
Kim was just starring at him because she was confused at his behavior.
