“what’s this where are you taking me to me”I asked as he kept on pu-lling me
“Its time you st©p this,Go back to the palace and st©p all of it” He said
“But I….”
“You can and you will,You are suffering and yet you keep on telling your self that it’s all for his majesty,St©p thinking about him and think about your self” He said as he kept on pu-lling me to the car.
The guards st©pped him by pu-lling him away from me
“You have no right to t©uçh her highness”one of them said as he held onto William
“I meant no harm”He said
“Its okay,He meant no harm”I said and they let him go
“I won’t do a thing William,As much as it hurts me,I will have to bear it all, Thanks for your advice but I don’t nee-d it”I added and then turned on my heels.
The car took me to the palace and gently I went to my room,only to be st©pped by the guards who were there.
“What’s wrong?”I asked
“Lady Alicia is there waiting for his Highness,She asked to tell you to wait until they were throu-gh”The guard said
“So you are saying,I have to wait just because she asked you to tell me that”I asked
“We are sorry your Highness but we are only following the great queen orders”He said
Just then Brian arrived,He walked past me and went into the room and a while later he pu-ll-ed Alicia out of the room.
“Let me go! “Alicia said as she he kept on pu-lling her away .
I stood there for a while and decided not to go in
I went back to the garden and sat down on the chair, Thinking about what just happened.
I felt the tears threaten to pour but I held it back
“I have to be strong,I must be strong”I said as I fought back the tears.
Just then I felt some one coming to seat beside me
I turned to see that it was William “it’s you”I said sadly
“Were you expecting Brian ?”he asked
“You are the first person who call us both by our name”I said
“That’s because we three are of the same age”He said and that made me smile
“If the ministers and ambas-sador were to hear it, they would make mince meat out of you”I said
“So! Should I call you with your tittle”He asked
“You should,if you don’t want to be beheaded”I said
“Beheaded in this time and Era?”He asked
“Don’t think that you can’t beheaded at this time and Era”I said
“Well then if I can sure be beheaded,I better start calling you with your tittle,I don’t want his majesty getting angry”He said
On hearing Brian being mentioned, My expression changed to a sad one
“Is he with Alicia alre-ady?”He asked
“Yes he is”I replied
“And before you ask, Am doing fine,This heart of mine can take it all”I said hitting my che-st.
“Like I haven’t seen its weakest moment”he replied smiling
He stood up and took my hand “where are we going?”I asked
“Some where,where you can relax”He said
I went with him solely because I nee-ded the distraction.
We walked a while and then he st©pped in front of the watch tower
“Why are we here?”I asked
“To see the moon,you will love it”he said and pu-ll-ed me again
We climbe-d the stairs and made it to the tower balcony
We stood there and I stared at the moon, It really is beautiful up close”I said gently
“I told you so”he said
“How did you know that it will be beautiful to look at,Have you been here before”I asked
“Just once, it was the day I had seen you again”He said
“You c@m£ here that night?”I asked starring at the moon
“Yes I did,I wanted to see how beautiful it is”He said and unknown to me he was starring at me.
“Its really beautiful”I said still starring at the moon
“I have never come here before but since you have Brou-ght me here,I think I will always come here”I said gently
“Dora!” On hearing Brian voice behind us,i turned
“Why are you here?”He asked
“I just c@m£ here to relax”I said
“To relax? With him?”He asked
“Brian I……”
“With all due respect your majesty,Her highness and I weren’t doing any thing”William said cutting me short
Brian walked towards me and pu-ll-ed my hand “For as long as you are working here,Stay away from my wife,I mean it”He said and pu-ll-ed me away.
We didnt speak to each other when we were going back.
It was when we were locked up in our room that he began to talk
“Why were you with him,I thought I told you to stay away from him” He said
“William is just a friend and to be sincere he is the only friend I have here, Every other person ap@rt form grace bad mouth me,There is no one I can trust here”I said
“So do you trust william?”He asked
“I don’t know,All I know is that he is always there when ever I feel like talking”I said
“Talk to me Emma,For God sake tell me how you feel,don’t talk to him about it any more,I hate it”He said shaking
I nodded gently when I saw that he meant it ,He pu-ll-ed me to him and held me close
“plea-se Emma I don’t trust that guy,I don’t want him to be around you”He begged and hvgged me.
THE NEXT DAY
I woke up to find Brian starring down at me on the be-d
“Do you know that you look beautiful when you are slee-ping”He asked
“St©p being cheeky,It’s just early in the morning”I said smiling up at him
He had made it clear to me yesterday that he didn’t know about Alicia coming to our room.
And after pu-lling her out he told her never to step foot in it and then he c@m£ out to look for me.
Just knowing that he didn’t go throu-gh with slee-ping her made me feel happy.
But I know that my happiness won’t last long because Brian will be going back to her tonight
“Aren’t you going to work”I asked
“Not until I make love to my wife”He said and pu-ll-ed me into his arms.
WILLIAM POV
I stood in the little ap@rtment which belonged to Alicia holding the binocular as I used it to spy on Dora room
Luckily for us the great queen had put us both in the house that faced Brian and Dora ap@rtment
So spying on them will be easy for me,I thought as I kept on starring waiting to see a glimpse of her
Just then she walked towards the window and opened it.
Just as I thought,She would certainly look lovely in the morning.
“Gosh I look horendous in the morning”Alicia said behind me
Slowly I put down the binocular to stare at her
“Then try putting some make up on,you will certainly look beautiful”I replied.
She stood up and c@m£ to stand by the window.
“So you have been starring at her right? “she asked starring at Dora who still stood by the window
“I was only trying to know what they were doing”I replied
“I hope so,Cause with the way you are behaving,You make me think that you are into her”
“If that is a joke then st©p,We both know why we are here,So let’s focus”I said moving to take a book
I mustn’t let Alicia know my true feelings towards Dora.
We had both promised to make every one pay and if she knows that am feeling something for Dora,She will call every thing off and that is not good for me.
“Well we have made progress,right now those two are getting torn ap@rt,All we have to do is to continue” She said
“And?”I prompted
“When they finally don’t trust each other we will then begin to strike”She said smiling evily
I thought about it for a while and I smiled too
“Just keep on getting close to miss goody two shoes,I will try to know more of her schedule,All you have to do is be near her out side of the palace and also in side”
“That’s a good idea,I like it”I replied
“While you do that,I get Brian to get me pregnant and when that happen,I will then show him the real boss is”She said smiling devishlly
“Tell me did you guys do it yesterday?”I asked
“Not yet,He is still being a j£rk but I know that one way or another,He will be mine and I can’t wait for that day to come”
A while later I stood on the construction ground,ma-king some detail clear to the construction workers.
I turned only to find Brian coming towards me along with his guards
“Your majesty!”I said
“Tell me right here,Right now,What do you want from my wife?”He asked suddenly
“What do you mean your Majesty?”*
“You know what I mean,I saw you last night,I saw the way you were starring at her,Now tell me what do you want from my wife!! “he yelled angrily.

WILLIAM POV
“I just asked you a question right? Answer me right now”He yelled at me again
“I don’t want any thing from her highness*I replied
“Then why the hell do you keep on being around her”He asked me
“That’s because each time I see her, She is always sad,I took her to the tower because she was sad and nothing else”I said
“Well then as from today, Don’t meddle with what ever happen with my wife,If she is sad,I will be there to comfort her,If she happy I will be there,Until when you finish the construction,Stay the hell away from my wife”He said and walked off.
Not wanting him to have the last word,I said “I will try to stay away, Try is the word there your majesty”
He gave me one last intimid@t!ngglance and then he walked off.
“You really don’t know a thing Brian, Dora will certainly become mine,I will make sure of that”I whispered lightly and Then I continued with my job
Just then my phone rang and I picked it
“I got her schedule today too,She is going to the orphanage home and she is also going to a close friend p@rty”Alicia said
“A close friend? Who is this close friend?”I asked
“Well a certain Diane Campbell, From what I know about her, She got married to Romeo Campbell”
“The politician?”
“Yes the politician, Romeo and Brian have been close friends,So you must know that their wives will be close friends too”
“I heard that Brian isn’t going to be there,So you must definitely tag along,You must find a way to get into the p@rty,It’s quite exclusive and am sure that it’s going to leave poorDora sad”Alicia added
“Why do you say that?”I asked
“Well the p@rty is in honour of their third child,Poor Dora would be so sad because unlike her friends who have given birth to three children,She hasn’t given birth to one”
“And so my Loving brother you must be there to keep her company while I keep Brian company okay”She said
“I will surely be there,If its a politician,I will know how to get in “I replied smiling
“That’s good then,Make sure you succeed in getting close to her tonight,Am really counting on you”Alicia said
“And am also counting on you to get that fool into your be-d and get pregnant as soon as you can,While I do mine,You better do yours”I said and cut the call.
If every thing turns out well tonight,Dora will certainly find a way to trust me and very soon,She will starts to listen to me and when the time is right,she will break all ties with Brian and then she will come to me.
“I just have to take it slow,In the end,I shall surely get all the reward”I whispered to myself.
ALICIA POV
“Yes your Highness,Am getting re-ady,the program will surely start by Ten right?”
“Okay your Highness,I will surely be there on time,I won’t let you down, I mean it”
“Okay then,Good bye for now”I said and threw the phone on the be-d angrily
Stupid old queen,She thinks that when I finally get pregnant,I will keep on dancing to her tunes,Well she is in for a surprise,I thought as I applied make up on my face.
Just then the door bell rang,At first I didn’t want to answer.
But when it kept on ringing,I dropped my l!pgloss and went to open up.
The person standing there was none other than my……..or better yet Dora mother.
“Hello mi……..”I couldn’t finish my word because she sl@pped my face.
Still reeling from the sl@p and from its shock I starred at her
“You stupid harlot,I had told them not to bring you into this house,That I won’t stand for another bride for the king,He is married to my daughter and that is how it’s going to be”She yelled at me
Getting myself into order,I asked “And why shouldn’t another bride be brou-ght in,When your daughter cant do the only thing they expect of her” I asked angrily
“I believe that that will happen in its time but what I cant stand for right now is that you are here,I don’t want you here!”She screamed at me
“Well you have no choice mrs,I was chos£n to have the king child and I won’t leave until they tell me other wise”I said
“You are just a gold digger, Looking for some where to get more money from but I will st©p you,I can guarantee you that!”with that last threat she left my room.
I sat on the chair holding onto my cheek, For the past two years have always wondered how we will meet again and it happened,It finally happened but in the worst way ever, She didn’t even recognise me,Well how would she,For the past two years,I went throu-gh a lot of things just to get to where I am today.
Still cradling my swollen cheek, My mind drifted off to two years back

“take this stupid medicine away”I yelled at the nurse throwing the drugs away
“If you don’t use this,You won’t be well enough!” The nurse said
“I don’t care,I will only talk to the doctor,Have told you alre-ady I want to talk to the doctor,Not to some lousy nurse”I said holding onto my head
“Fine then,If its the doctor you want,I will bring him here” The nurse said as she went out of the room.
A while later the doctor walked in along with some nurse.
“Finally! You have come to see me”I said pu-lling him towards me
“Yes I have,Have been busy and while I was I made the nurse attend to you”
“The nurse are not what I nee-d right now, its you that I nee-d”I said
“Okay,I am here,tell me what you nee-d”
“The only thing I know since I woke up from my coma is that I was in an accident,Tell me more about me doctor,Just trying to make myself remember is killing me”I said
“From what I know,You were found in a building,Being treated by a man called Micheal but recently he died and the nurse that was taking care of you brou-ght you to our hospital and ever since then we have been taking care of you”The doctor explained
“That’s all you know about me?”I asked
“That’s all we know,The nurse only brou-ght you here and left and since then we have been waiting for you to wake up so we can get more info from you”
“But I can’t remember a thing? Why didn’t you question the nurse or try to get more info about that deceased man, Just trying to remember myself gives me a terrible head ache”I yelled at him
“Well then we will have to keep you here a while longer,You are still not well yet,You have been in a coma for a while,Your lim-bs have not been in use,To get them back on track,You have to go throu-gh some thera-py session”He said
“How long will it take me to walk again”I asked
“That will only happen if you put your mind to it,for now just take your drugs and go to sleep”He said patting my shoulders and then he left.
A MONTH LATER
After going throu-gh rigorous thera-py,I could finally walk.
Remembering nothing and having no where to go,I decided to stay in the hospital to help.
I never thought that a day will come when I will finally remember some thing but It did come and that day was the worst day of my life.
I was attending to a sick old lady when I saw the news.
‘This will be the first time that king Brian
And his wife queen Dora Stone will come
Out in public,After what happened month
Ago’ The announcer began
I sat on the chair starring at the queen herself who looked just like me.
‘its been said that it’s has been an ordeal
For the queen herself, That is why both

On seeing both the queen parents the food in the tray which I had been holding fell off my hand.
Every single little thing that went out of my head began to come back,I remembered every thing up until the accident..
“Yes the accident”I said standing up
“Hey did you have to get up like that? You just scared the hell out of me”the old lady said
“Am so sorry,It’s just that the news startled me a bit”I replied
“What’s there to startle you about,It’s just the new king and queen”
“Kind and Queen? The last thing I remembered was that he was still a prince”I asked
“Well all that changed some few weeks back, He just had his coronation along with his bride Dora Baxter, isnt she pretty”the old lady asked
“Yes she is!”I replied starring at the television
“After the accident during their engagement,it brou-ght them more close and though some people say that its an arranged marriage,i think it’s a match made from heaven”the old lady said
That must be it,The accident! The accident changed every thing,the person now married to Brian is an imposter,while I was in a coma she has been living my life.
“This can’t be! It just cant be!”I yelled suddenly and the old lady starred at me
“What does this have to do with you! Why are you even yelling? “She asked
“Are you that blind to see it?”I said
“How dare you call me a………wait a moment now that you mentioned it,I think that I know what you are talking about,You look exactly like the queen! Are the two of you twin?”She asked
“Twin my foot,That lady stole my identity and i will surely get it back from her”I said and walked out of the room.
Heading straight for the palace,I might have forgotten some things but I didn’t forget how to get to the palace.
