(At Vincent’s house)
Elena: Vincent, I’ll be going back home tomorrow morning
Vincent: Why?
Elena: Well Helen and Martin are going back to Seattle this weekend and I nee-d to bid them goodbye. Because I don’t know when they’ll return
Vincent: Ohhh.
Elena: But no worries. I’ll only stay a day
Vincent: That’s good baby
(Vincent and Elena k!ss)
(Next Morning)
Elena: Bye Vincent. I’ll return soon.
Vincent: Bye
Vincent mother: Take care of yourself my dear
Elena: I will
Vincent mother: And dont be long.
Elena: (smiles)
(Elena hvgs Vincent and his mom before leaving the house)
MEANWHILE
(Cas-sandra calls Harrison)
Cas-sandra: Harry, Elena just left the house today. How do we go ahead with our plan?
Harrison: No, no. Its perfect
Cas-sandra: Huh? How?
Harrison: Its working just fine. All you nee-d to do is pl@yalong.
Cas-sandra: Fine.

(At Mr Gilbert house)
Caitlin: (hvgs Elena) Elena! I’ve missed you dear
Elena: I’ve missed you too mom
Mr Gilbert: (hvgs Elena) How’re you doing?
Elena: I’m fine dad
(Orora comes out of the kitchen)
Orora: Elena! Hi
Elena: (hvgs her) how’re you doing dear?
Orora: I’m fine
Elena: Where’s Ted? And Nate?
Orora: They’re out
Elena: Ohhhhh
(Helen and Martin comes out from the hallway)
Elena: (hvgs both of them) Awwwnnn. I’m gonna miss you both.
Helen: We’ll miss you too Elena
Martin: But don’t worry, we’ll come visiting
Elena: Okay. I hope you both aren’t traveling by air
Martin: Of course not. We can’t travel by air because of Nicholas
Elena: That’s better (she pats Nicholas)
Martin: We should be leaving now
(Caitlin, Elena, Mr Gilbert and Orora bid them goodbye before leaving)
(Later that day)
Ted: Orora? Where are you going?
Orora: Somewhere
Ted: Doesn’t that somewhere have a place?
Orora: I’m sorry Ted. I can’t tell you where I’m going. Just tell the rest of the family that I went to get some items across the street if they ask
Ted: Orora, you know you can tell me anything. Do you trust me?
Orora: Ted…..
Ted: Do you trust me?
Orora: (sighs) Yes
Ted: Then where are you going?
Orora: (sighs) I’m going to see my dad. He’s in jail
Ted: Oh, Why? What crime did he commit?
Orora: Kidnapping and attem-pted murder.
Ted: Ohhhhh. That’s bad
Orora: Ted, My father was the one who kidnapped Elena and held you hostage
Ted: Woah. Mr Leon?
Orora: Yeah
Ted: I only knew he was Mr Gilbert brother. I didn’t know he was your father.
Orora: Well I’m Elena’s cousin, So…..
Ted: Besides,Mr Gilbert could have other brothers not just Leon and maybe your own father wasn’t alive anymore. That’s what I thought.
Orora: Well He’s my father. And even if he’s gonna die in jail. I want to give him one more chance to change. I’m the only one he has in this world. Helen doesn’t have a healthy relationsh!pwith him like I did.
Ted: It’s ok. I un-derstand
Orora: I’m going to see him and bring him food. plea-se don’t forget to tell the rest of the family what I told you.
Ted: No problem

(That night)
(At Vincent house)
Vincent: Mom. I miss Elena alre-ady
Vincent mother: (smiles) Don’t worry my son, She’s only gone for a little while. she’ll be back soon dear
(Cas-sandra enters the living room)
Cas-sandra: At least now I can have peace of mind (smiles)
(She changes the channel)
Vincent mother: Excuse you? Don’t you have any manners?
Cas-sandra: Well you both were discussing about that fisherwoman and you weren’t watching TV. So I decided to watch.
Vincent mother: Something is definitely wrong with you and its very obvious……
Cas-sandra: Mrs Manuel, plea-se don’t disrupt my peace of mind. Or do you want me to die? Remember what the doctor said!
Vincent: (Finally intervenes) Cas-sandra, what happened to the TV in your room?
Cas-sandra: Its not working anymore
Vincent: Really?
Cas-sandra: Actually I just wanted to watch TV here.
Vincent: Cas-sandra…..
Vincent mother: Vincent, why are you letting this woman control you? She always talks like she’s gonna die the next minute. Its not like she’s not gonna die eventually.
Cas-sandra: (crying) So you want me to die? Vincent, Aren’t you hearing this? Your mom wishes for me to die? (cleans her tears) its fine. Even if I’m gonna die, its not anytime soon!
(She goes into her room)
Vincent mother: Balderdash! That woman irritates me.
Vincent: Honestly, I don’t even know what to do with her
Vincent mother: That’s what you always say. You should be happy Elena’s un-derstanding if not, she would have severed her ties with you. No woman will be happy seeing her another woman in her fiancee’s house
Vincent: (laughs gently)
Vincent mother: You’d better open your eyes. Anyways, I’m going to sleep. Goodnight my dear
Vincent: Goodnight mom
(She goes into her room)
(Just then, a knock is heard on the door, Vincent goes to open it and the person turns out to be Harrison)
Vincent: (angry) What the hell are you doing here?
Harrison: Vincent Manuel, Its Elena
Vincent: What happened to her?
Harrison:She was coming to see me this evening but on her way to my house, she had a terrible accident.
Vincent: (shocked) What?
Harrison: She’s in Central hospital as we speak.I knew she’d want to see you that’s why I c@m£ to call you
Vincent: Oh God
(Vincent and Harrison leave the house to Central hospital)
ON THE ROAD
(Vincent and Harrison are on a deserted road)
Harrison: We’re almost there
Vincent: But Harrison… This isn’t the way to the Central hospital…. Wait… What’re you doing
(Harrison intentionally crashes the car into a pole and he hurriedly escaped before it catches fire but the car gets locked, preventing Vincent from escaping)

(Helen and Martin arrive back in Seattle)
Martin: Home sweet home.
Helen: Wow. It looks different. Did you change the interior design of your house
Martin: Well yeah
Helen: I plan on hiring a baby sitter for Nicholas.
Martin: Why? Are you going somewhere
Helen: Well i was thinking of getting a job so I can as-sist you
Martin: There’s no nee-d for that, Helen. My pay is $1000.its more than enough to take care of ourselves
Helen: Okay
(Helen hvgs Martin)
Helen: I love you Martin. I’m really lucky to have you
Martin: Me too
(Helen and Martin k!ss)

(Orora goes to visit Mr Leon in prison)
Police: Leon!
Leon: What is it?
Police: You have a visitor. She said she’s your daughter
(He let’s him out of his cell)
Police: You have five minutes
(Leon goes to see Orora)
Leon: Orora?
Orora: Dad…..
(She hvgs him)
Orora: I’ve really missed you
Leon: Me too
Orora: (hands him the food flask) I made spaghetti and meatba-lls and I made the spaghetti sauce with much chilli. Just how you like it
Leon: Thanks (collects the food from her) I can’t eat what they give us here.
Orora: I’m really sorry, Despite what you’ve done I still love. You’re my father
Leon: I’m sure everyone is celebr@ting my jail s£ntence at home
Orora: (sighs) Dad…. I want to tell you that its not too late for you to change, Just like I did.
Leon: I’d rather die than grovel at my brother’s feet begging for mercy and forgiveness
Orora: Dad, I know you have your pride and ego but, Its the only way to free your mind
Leon: Forget it! I’ll never apologize to my brother. Ever!
Orora: Now I know where I got my nas-ty behavior from, I’m sure I wouldn’t have changed if I wasn’t around good people who influenced me positively
Leon: So you’re saying I’ve been a bad influence all along?
Orora: That’s not what I’m saying……
Leon: You can leave now
Orora: What? Why?
Leon: Because I don’t have time to waste on an insolent daughter!
Orora: Dad, I’m not being insolent, I…..
(The policeman returns to take him back to his cell)
Police: Time’s up
Leon: s£nd my regards to Helen. Goodbye
(Leon leaves her and goes back to his cell)
Orora: (sobs) Bye.

(Back at Vincent house)
(Early next morning)
Vincent mother: Elena! You’re back too early. Its 6am
Elena: Well I forgot my special vitamins. And I had to come back but dont worry. I’m here to stay
Vincent mother: That’s fine
Elena: Where’s Vincent?
Vincent mother: Uh.he should be in his room
Elena: Ok. Thanks Mrs Manuel.
Vincent mother: You’re welcome my dear
(Elena goes into Vincent room but doesn’t see him)
Elena: Vincent! Vincent!
(She checks his bathroom and toilet but doesn’t see him)
Elena: But he’s not here
(She goes back to the living room)
Vincent mother: What’s wrong?
Elena: Vincent isn’t in his room at all. He’s nowhere to be found
Vincent mother: What? That’s crazy?
(She goes into his room to check for herself but doesn’t see him)
Vincent mother: You’re right. He’s not in room
(Elena dials his phone and it rings from his room, Vincent mother goes to bring it)
Vincent mother: He left his phone. He must have gone to wherever he went to in a hurry…
(Just then, someone calls Elena)
Elena: Hello? Who’s this?
Caller: This is Doctor Larabee from Crest hospital. Your fiancee, Vincent Manuel has been involved in a car crash
Elena: (shocked) Oh my God
Vincent mother: What’s wrong? Who is that?
Elena: Its a doctor from Crest hospital
Vincent mother: What did he say?
Elena: Vincent’s been involved in an accident
Vincent mother: Oh no!

(At the hospital)
(Elena and Vincent mother goes to visit Vincent)
Vincent mother: (panicking) Doctor, plea-se how is he? I mean my son?
Doctor Larabee: Vincent Manuel?
Vincent mother: Yes! Who else would I be talking about?
Doctor Larabee: I’m sorry ma’am, well luckily the smoke fumes didn’t enter his lungs but his hands got burnt while trying to escape
Elena: So?
Doctor Larabee: Luckily, He’s responding to treatments
Vincent mother: Can we see him?
Doctor Larabee: I’m afraid you can’t see him now. I’m sorry
(Doctor Larabee leaves them)
Vincent mother: (admist her tears) Oh God, how could this happen? Why would Vincent leave the house in the middle of the night to God knows where
Elena: (pats her) Don’t worry, Vincent will be well.
Vincent mother: I just hope so. He’s my only surviving child. I can’t lose him
Elena: He’s not going to die! I have faith in God
Vincent mother: (cries) I don’t even know what to do…..
(Elena hvgs Vincent mom)
(Just then, Cas-sandra walks past them and Vincent mom & Elena sees her)
Elena: Cas-sandra???
Vincent mother: (shocked to see her) You sea witch, what’re you doing here?
Cas-sandra: Well I c@m£ to see Vincent.
Vincent mother: You bad omen…. (She walks towards Cas-sandra)
Elena: Mrs Manuel…….
(Elena tries to hold Vincent mom back but she frees herself from Elena’s grip and goes to Cas-sandra)
Vincent mother: This never happened when you we’re away from Vincent, You’re bad luck!
Cas-sandra: (laughs) Why are you pained? The doctor says Vincent will be ok isn’t it? So why then are you bothering yourself?
Elena: Cas-sandra, you claim to care about Vincent but you never actually act like you care.
Cas-sandra: Oh plea-se! I wasn’t talking to you, You stupid fisherwoman! I was talking to this old cargo here! This poor excuse for a mother! (She says this while pointing at Vincent mother)
