Chapter Fifty One:
Ares
Sitting next to Zoe I stare at her still confuse what my next step is going to be,if Zoe accept Fred blood they will be no way to separate them anymore, she will be his and if I don’t go to the fountain of death Zoe will die and if Zeus dont acknowledge me we will both die
Covering my face with my hands I sit quietly, my heart beat was the only sound in the room, I can never leave Zoe side and I can’t live without Zoe in my life, I will be back to nothing
Running my hands throu-ghmy hair the door open slowly revealing Zar who lean on it, starring at me ” what happened ” lifting my gaze I exhale then look back at him
” fountain of death” I muttered, Zar eyes widen at that, he look extremely worried ” dont tell me ” I nod and he step into the room ” they is no way you can survive there Ares, Zeus has never acknowledge anybody before” I still nod saying nothing ” this is retreat, you can’t go there ”
” I have to, Zoe will die if I don’t do that ” I gro-an ” don’t you get it, I can’t live without her, she is all I have got in this cruel world, is either we both survive this or we both end up dead ” I gro-an, my whole body trembling
I stare at Zoe body, I dont know what this feeling is, hot water from my eyes on my cheek. Touching it I gasp, is this tears, is this how it feels to cry, why isn’t it stopping. Holding my che-st I close my water and let it flow, my heart feels heavy
I have to get my Zoe back, she can’t die on my watch, she is mine to protect
Walking downstairs my gaze land on Fred ” when am back I dont want to see you here ” he furrow his brows before standing, starring at me ” that is if you survive ” he grin widely, my hands clench as I walk pa-ss him
I have to teach him a lesson, turning around my right hand swiftly move to his right and my left to his left gripping both of them out, he scream in pain stumbling backwards ” why did you fu-ck ing do that!!!” I can see he is in pain
” your hands will grow back idiot, that’s a lesson ” turning around I smile then disappear

Appearing in the forest of unknown I look around, everything look so different, each tree I pa-ss by I greet them, their eyes studying my every movement, I dont want to anger any of them
A tall tree branch stop me from moving forward ” why are you here” his voice de-eper ” Ares” he knows my name, looking up I stare at the tree, he look old, he might have lived for centuries
” am looking for the fountain of death ” the whole tree gasp as the words left my mouth, I look at them confused to why they reacted that way
” do you wish to die boy ”
” No, I want Zeus to acknowledge me, I need his help ” I muttered ” I will be grateful if you show me the way ” looking at him, he move his branch out of my way, starring at me strangely
” its been awhile I see true love ” his mouth turn to a smile ” I hope your wish come to pa-ss but this fountain of death is something that changes location every one thousand years, we dont know where this fountain is but if you keep moving forward, you will encounter dangers that might kill you, a wolves teeth poisonous enough to melt your hands and grip it off in seconds” he look sad and pitiful ” if you can over come all these, the fountain will come to you”
Nodding my head I continue my journey ” one last thing brave man ” I turn around and the tree muttered ” no witches or animals are friendly in the next forest, don’t be swayed by their words and dont ask for direction for it will be your doom ”
I never knew that finding the fountain will be this dangerous, I continue my journey after thanking the tree, the next forest will be deadly, how will I know when I approach the next forest
I didn’t even bring any single water with me, fu-ck . How many days will I spend in here, I need to hurry up and the same time save energy
I stare at different animals jumping around the place,they look yummy, I might as well just hunt but then animals here can talk
I stopped walking as my gaze land on the next forest, a huge hole separating this forest from that, thun-der strike from the dark clouds overing that portion, this won’t be as easy as I thought. The tree there might also be evil and horrible but I have to go, moving backwards I fasten my footsteps before jumping high
Shit, I won’t make it
my hands successfully touch the ground holding me from falling, my breathing calm down the moment I lift myself up and into the forest, my eyes roam about starring at everything, the trees look pretty normal to me, no eyes nor is they any mouth, the only different was that all the trees are in dark colours not green
Stepping forward, my heart keep racing, I know something horrible is about to happen, something is coming, I can feel it. The bushes shake, the sound coming from the ground a little different.
Clenching my fist I walk slowly, nothing happened, maybe am just…..
Before I could complete my thought I find my self falling to the ground and my both hands grip off my body, I scream in pain, it feels like poison flowing into my body from my injured hands
I stare at the two wolves who are feasting on my hands, the same sound is emitting from the ground and I just know one more is heading this way
This won’t be easy

Chapter Fifty Two:
Ares
Forcing myself up i quickly move backwards as the third wolf appear, saliva dripping from their mouth, only a fool will try fighting three poisonous giant wolves. My hands successfully regenerate quickly due to Salvador help
Taking a step back, they seem to be observing my movement, I could tell that they are ready to strike any minute from now, I exhale and inhale before running, I fasten my steps. The sounds from the ground keep increasing, I look back and notice they are ten
I had no idea where am running to right now, they seem to be getting close and if I dont hurry up it will be the end of me, they will grip me out at once. Jumping over a branch, their steps are closer than expected
Before I could jump another branch, a hand hold me and pull me to my left, a wall I didn’t notice was there appear and am left scared knowing I will hit it, closing my eyes my body pa-ss throu-ghit. Am alive?
Touching my face my gaze move to the woman that helped me, her black eyes, black hair. She looks just like the girl the wolves were attacking the last time I entered a forest, I thought she died, trying to touch her face, my hands touch nothing, just air. she is dead, a ghost?
Her face curve in a smile “we are even now ” she smile then vanish into thin air, I look around where she pull me into, a complete desert, not a single tree or leaf in view
“What the hell is this” I gro-an getting annoyed ” why did you pull me here you …..you” I had no words to describe her as I use my legs and hit the sands ” fu-ck !!!” How the hell do I go to the forest now, I turn around and the wall which was there also vanished
Am going to lose my shit, the place is already getting dark, I need a place to spend the night but where??
Walking straightforward I gasp, my throat dry, I haven’t taken blood for awhile now and I know am gonna pa-ss out any minute now, my legs and hands feels heavy. Coughing I hold my che-st before falling to the ground

” you can’t keep bringing people here sweetheart ” a man voice grumble, I was having a ha-rd time opening my eyes, my whole body feels so weak
” but he pa-sses out in the desert of mystery, he must be sad traveller, besides am not like you that left poor Pearl in that horrible place ”
” oh please” the man gro-an ” you know pearl is a grown woman”
Holding my head I sit up and open my eyes, I stare at them, she has green eyes and dark hair, his red eyes got my attention and I know intently he is a natural demon. He doesn’t look happy if I can read those eyes, he hates that this woman helped me because am a man
” you’re awake??” She said clapping her hands which only made him more furious ” how are you feeling” she tried moving close to me but stopped when the man throw her over his shoulder and out of the room
He sure is possessive
All these only made me think of Zoe, my gaze move to the time and my eyes widen. 10am, I have to hit the road. Getting off the bed, I grab a bottle of water I saw on a table, gulp everything down and out of the room mistakenly hitting someone
She fall on her bu-tt, her hair brown just like that man which may be her father and she also has with red eyes ” ouch ” she frown at me but I don’t have time for this ” silver??” She muttered and I step back frowning. That’s what Zoe called me the first time we met
This place is nostalgic
” tell your mum or sister that am grateful for her help, I need to go ” walking towards the exit, someone grab my hand stopping me, I inhale out of annoyance before turning around to meet an angry looking man, we stare at each other for awhile before he let go of my hand and nod
I had no idea why he did that but I didn’t waste anymore time there, I quickly step out of the house, which is close to a water fall. Where am I, how am I ever going to find this fountain
With each step I take into this forest I know nothing and my hope of saving Zoe keep dieing just like am slowing down. Looks like am in another world entirely
Sitting on a rock I run my hands throu-ghmy hair, I have no idea where I am ” what do I do!!!” I yell to no one in particular, my patience running out ” why can’t I keep the only thing that makes me happy alive!!” A tear drop from my eyes ” why am I always this late, late to save my father and now late to save Zoe?? Am I made to cone to this world to suffer?? Zeus answer me you bastard !!”
I cough as tears keep flowing ” I love her, I will do anything, please…I need to find this fountain, I need to save the love of my life, I need her in my life or else I will be nothing ” I gasp for air ” I will be nothing ” covering my face I cry, I cry because the pain of losing Zoe is too much for me to bear, the pain of not seeing my little mouse smiling at me is devastating. The pain I know she is pa-ssing throu-ghright now is fu-ck ing with my head. I don’t need her to suffer, I should be the one suffering
She is so fragile that this might kill her, am I doing the right thing crying in open, will she want me to be sad, I need to meet this Zeus of a god, what is making me lose hope all of a sudden
I shouldn’t lose hope, this is Zeus plan, I will find this fountain whether he likes it or not
Standing to my feet I continued my journey, nothing unusual happened, this forest look really calm, just like a normal forest where trees don’t talk and they are only few dangerous animals
I stopped on my track, rob my eyes, my mouth open. Is this it, I move to a fountain in view. Are fountain this small, waters are pouring out of them, they build it really well
Leaning in I read what’s written on it ‘ fountain of death, he who come here, came to die and for life ‘ I step back shaking my head. Defiantly the wrong fountain, no fire,no poison and am not here to die
When I try turning around I couldn’t, I stare at this small fountain su-ck ing me in, I tried fighting it but I couldn’t ” shit ” was my last word before being taken to where I have absolutely no idea
