Nora
Lots of people wished me a happy birthday but my dad was the first to wish me.
I was waiting to see Damian but why even wait when I know he won’t even come because he alre-ady told me goodbye.
Xavier said to me,” You look beautiful tonight, and happy birthday once more”.
“Oh thanks, everyone gave me a pres£nt but how come you are not with one for me”, I asked.
” Well I wish to give you last today because my gift is special and you will love it”, he said.
“Okay fine, if you say so, enjoy yourself, I nee-d to get some air outside.”, I said leaving.
Then I saw Damian, my heart was filled with joy, he finally c@m£, he wished me a happy birthday and gave me a gift which I said I will open in my room.
Damian was discussing with Ivy when I went to my room upstairs humming the song that was pla-ying.
” Now let’s see the gift he brou-ght for me, what frame is this, is it I love you or flowers”.
I finally opened the gift and I was filled with surprise, he made a portrait of me, “This is beautiful, my best gift ever, never knew his a good artist, wow he drew me well and am still beautiful here”.
I decided to fit the portrait in my room when I heard my voice note pla-ying, “Oh no, this is bad, everyone is listening to it.”.
I had to rush out of my room and I fell on the floor, I stood up again and ran to re-move my phone not minding the gaze everyone gave to me.
I ran out to the garden that was when I felt his pres£nce, he gr-abs my hands and turned me into facing him.
I stammered and said things that don’t make s-en-se, “Oh D..ddd again, it’s not me talking on the voice note, a mistake”.
I got shy too.
The next thing he brou-ght me close to him as I felt his heartbeat and he reached for myl-ips and k!$$£d me do well, I don’t even want him to st©p.
” I love you Nora and I will never hurt you okay”, he said to me.
“I love you Damian, am so happy that Damian finally admits he loves me”.We laughed.
We l@yin the garden while I rested on his che-st looking at the stars, we had a heart-to-heart discussion but he k!$$£d me again and felt my b©dy, how he so good in this was the question in my mind.
Then we heard someone clearing his throat,” Oh no father”, we quic-kly adjusted.
“Oh, where did it go, now you are fine am going inside”, Damian said, he greeted dad and went in.
” So let me guess, my daughter is about having S-x here right”, dad said folding his hands.
I tried to make him believe is not true and said some stuff that he was just helping me kill something, I svçkat lies.

I was feeling happy that she will love my surprise that am about giving her that was when I got angry hearing her voice note.
She never loved me all this while, I was her tool and I never knew.
How could she use me and my emotions, this isn’t fair, Damian beat me to this.
My phone started ringing, checking the caller it was Ellie.
” Hi Ellie”, she screamed so loud that I had to take the phone off my ear.
“Xavier is it true, the video Ivy recorded and posted on the group, is it true, talk to me plea-se, am going crazy, did Damian k!$$£d her, are they a couple now?”.
Ellie is really funny, she knows how mad I am now knowing have been used but I had to control my temper and said to her,” Everything is true Ellie.”.
“Xavier how did this happen, I thought you two are together now, I thought she loves you now, what happened all of a sudden, I nee-d to know, I can’t put myself together now”, she said and with the sound of her voice, I know she can do anything stupid.
” Nora phone pla-yed a voice note and that was when I knew she is not with me because she loves me but she is with me to get back at him, to hurt him back, she still loves him and has lost at this because Nora used me a tool to do what plea-ses her”, I said angrily.
“You can still win her back, talk to her, f0rç£ yourself to k!ssher, I mean do anything, Damian is mine you know and I won’t let him be with her, I will nee-d to f0rç£ my self on him next time I see him in school”,
” Ellie you care for a drink, I feel the both of us nee-d that now”, I said on phone and she accepted.

At school the next day, I planned on telling Nora how angry I am for her to use me just like that then maybe when she apologizes, I will tell her am in love with her.
I missed the clas-s alre-ady because I was thinking maybe if Nora sees am not in a clas-s, she will know am so upset maybe by then she will call me or wish to talk to me.
But nothing like that.
I went to the cafeteria and I got mad seeing Damian and her together, k!ssing, ma-king it public they are a couple now.
I got angry and walk to where they was sitting and gave Damian a punch on his face.

Nora
I was on a video call with Piper and Ivy.
“Ivy why did you upload that video in the group without my cons£nt hum”, I said.
” Piper can you believe this she just said, I was expecting a thank you, is he a good k!ss£r?”, Ivy asked.
“I hate you two, come on change the question plea-se, that’s so embarras-sing”, I said feeling shy.
” Embarras-sing you say when he was k!ss!ngyou and holding you, you were not embarras-sed hum, come talk to us, we are friends remember!”, Ivy said.
“Am going to kill you girls”, we started laughing.
” Yes his such a bad k!ss£r and I felt every bit of it and I even got hor-nyat the process, I was like his damn good, how he places his hands, k!ss!ngmy n£¢k saying he loves me, gosh his not just handsome but damn h0t”, I kept talking but the girl’s eyes were glued on the video saying, “aww that’s so sweet and wow, wish I can get a boy now”.
“You both are silly”.
” So when we left the p@rty, I know he didn’t leave on time, so tell us, did you both did it”, Piper asked ma-king use of signs with her f!ngers.
“Come on girls not that, it’s too early for that”, I said blu-shing on the call.
” it’s your birthday, you should have to sneak him to your room or got to his place or anywhere, but I know you two will still do it but I can’t wait to know if he’s good in be-d”, Ivy said with her hands on her che-st.
“Hope we all un-derstand the meaning of boundaries right, but there is still a little problem”, I said.
” Don’t tell me a problem say something nice, plea-se”, Piper said.
“Ok he did a portrait of me as a birthday gift that’s good news but the problem ks Xavier, I wanted to tell him after my birthday but he ended up finding it out this way, what should I do now?” I asked for advice.
” Well we told you before but just apologize to him, no big deal there”, my friends said to me.
I concluded in my thoughts that Xavier should be capable of forgiveness.
“Bye guys”, I said ending the video call.
Time for me to sleep when I got a beep on my phone. Checking the id it’s from Damian, I sat down all re-ady forgetting am about to sleep.
” Hi babe, you on the be-d yet?”.
I replied to him saying, “Yes am on the be-d, seems you are missing me alre-ady”.
He texted me,” I miss you very much, can’t wait to see you tomorrow”.
I typed ” Well since you miss me so much, I want to be the first girl you see tomorrow, let’s go to school together”?”, I bite my f!ngersthinking if I was to s£nd that.
“That’s a nice idea, will wait for you at the school bus sp©t then, good night and I love you”.he replied.
” I love you too, sleep well”, I texted back and la-id on my be-d extremely happy.

“Remember I told you, Damian, we might fight because of her, you denied your love for her”Xavier said.
I was surprised seeing Damian giving him a bad punch back,” You betrayal, you badmouth me with Nora hum, you such a terrible friend”, Damian said.
Then a real fight started, I never knew Damian is a fighter, Xavier has never been defeated in a fight but this is a b!ow on his face. He just saw the wrath of the cold face now, am happy am in safe hands with Damian.
” St©p fighting you two, you gonna kill yourself plea-se Damian I beg of you, I cost all this plea-se”.
Damian st©pped, he stood up gr-abbing my hands and we left there.
” Babe are you hurt”, I ask.
” Am fine, he deserves it so don’t let it ruin our mood”, he said holding me.

Heading home I thought of my mom seeing this injury on me, what will I say to her.
Firstly when I c@m£ back from Nora’s birthday, she saw how excited I am that she started asking me a question, seems she knows Nora won my heart but I just smiled and entered my room.
Now am coming home with a different look today.
“Hi mom”, I said forcing a smile.
” Good gracious what happened to you son, you got into a fight, with whom and why”, she asked tou-ching my face and I gro-an ed in pain.
“Mom is fine, aahhh that hurt,” I said to her.
She gave me a look, “Come on mom, it’s nothing okay, and am so hungry”, I said.
“Will dish your food, okay but I just nee-d a favor from you plea-se “, mom said.
” A favor, okay mom spill it out, am all ears,” I said.
“Invite Nora to have dinner with us any of these days okay”, mom said.
” Okay, will ask her”, I said looking at mom to know if she is for real or not.
