“I thought she is mine now but guesses is wrong or am I right?” I question my thoughts.
“I tried k!ss!ngher but she refused maybe am rushing her, let me just take things easy with her and slow, I know with time, she will be the one demanding for the taste ofl-ips”, I smiled after saying this alone in my room.
I brou-ght out my phone to check if she has s£nt me a message on social media but I found nothing, she doesn’t call me except I call her yet it takes years for her to answer the phone.
Maybe she prefers me calling so I won’t quit till I finally get her attention, but how can I do that, how?.
I decided to dial her number but it kept on dialing and dialing still no answer from her, maybe she is busy with one or two.
I brou-ght out my l@pt©p to watch a movie that was when I remembered this month is Nora’s birthday.
This is my solution to win her fully, maybe get her a birthday surprise that no one can give her on that day and she will k!ssme out of her emotions for me, perfecto.

I felt heartbroken when Nora turned me down after taking a bold step to admitting my feelings to her.
When she c@m£ back I thought she changed her mind and I was smiling foolishly, I got disappointed when she returned the jacket I once gave to her at school, she is serious about this.
I feel have lost her for good.

Am so excited and sad today, now let me tell the reason am sad, have lost true love out of my carelessness.
The good news is that have been able to complete my mom’s hospital bills and now she is getting her treatment, I so much miss my mom.
My phone buzzes and it’s Lisa, green snake’s daughter.
” Hi Damian, am bored care for a drink”, she asked.
Thinking about everything that is hurting me now, maybe I do nee-d a drink.
“Sure, but just a drink”, I as-sured her.
” Wow thanks, baby, will text you the address”, she said.
“I remembered I told you not to call me baby again”, unknown to me she has ended the call alre-ady.
She is crazy.

I was happy I had a drink with Lisa, I was able to clear my mind and thought of the next step to get, don’t get me wrong, I know Lisa is crazy about me but I don’t have feelings for her, she is desperate just like Ellie.
I finally concluded quitting my job at Nora’s home, the main reason I worked there has been solved and I can’t be hurting seeing her.
I decided to bid her goodbye first before telling her father at his company that is quitting.

” Damian what’s so important you wished to tell me about”, she asked with a straight face.
“Nora I just c@m£ to tell you, am quitting, I can’t continue working here and still be hurting my emotions, I know you have moved on so I should do the same for our good,” I said calmly to her.
“But you know the garden will miss you, you can’t just quit”.
” Your dad will get someone else, I brou-ght you this”, I handed her the hairband and she was surprised and said, “My hairband, have searched for it, where did you see it”.
” When you left to use the bathroom at the p@rty, I got worried and so I decided to look for you, I saw it on the floor and I knew something wasn’t right, I got interrupted by Ellie whom I thought was drun!kbut never mind, am not your b©yfri£ndso I don’t nee-d to give any explanation besides it’s past now, thank you for ma-king me smile with the limited time we had, the shopping and you made me jealous, how you got jealous as well, how you call me cold face and I call you noisy, I will miss that, we can’t be friends anymore so Xavier won’t feel insecure”, I almost tear saying this.
“Damian I” I didn’t let her finish her statement when I said.
“Don’t try and st©p me, Nora, goodbye ” I said and left her compound.
I cried when I c@m£ out cause I was hurting letting go of the one I love.

Mr. Addison never wanted me to go because he likes me but I told him have made up my mind.
“I like you, young man, I wish to work with you in the future, I never knew you and my daughter are friends but friends do fight right, try and make amends to things with her on her birthday”.
He told me the d@t£ of Nora’s birthday saying she always love celebr@ting it at the house and I should not miss it and we should talk about things, then he gave me an envelope of money to thank me again, he’s such a nice man.

I ran to my room when Damian left, I cried out and threw things on the floor, I cried out in pain, ” He’s so stupid, why is he giving up on me”.
I took out my phone and communicated with it, then I did a voice note expressing how to hurt I am that he’s leaving, I lied to him but I love him, I don’t like Xavier, am just acting to hurt him.
I couldn’t st©p crying.
Then my friends called me and I told them on phone, but they cheered me up remembering me my birthday is coming up.
Episode 34
🤒 Nora 😷
I was slee-ping the whole day, I couldn’t be happy anymore, I lost Damian for good, it hurts because he’s actually my first.
I couldn’t st©p crying, I acted am fine to my dad who tried finding out what was wrong.
Then I missed my late twin brother, I brou-ght out our pictures, “I miss you, bro, finally your sister felt love and loosed it because of so-called revenge, what will I do? How I wish you are here with me, you would have directed me on what to do next but seems to have missed it this time around”, I took the picture close to my heart as I kept on crying.
I walked over to the garden, thinking maybe he might be there but I guessed not,” Look at the flowers, so beautiful and I know they miss him just as I do”.
Maybe I nee-d to tell Xavier the truth that I don’t love him,won’t he be mad, I don’t think I can face that now maybe I should wait a little more before telling him about that.
I went back to my room to sleep.

A few hours later, I heard the voices of Ivy and Piper screaming out my name, they entered my room saying, “Don’t tell me, Piper, she is killing herself because of Mr. Cold face?” ivy said to Piper.
“But anyway we are here alre-ady to make her feel good, so get up girlfriend we going shopping”, Piper said tickling me on the be-d to stand on my feet.
” You girls are so silly, am not doing any shopping hum”, I said to them.
“Well I know it’s because of him you are still sad but come on girl, this is unlike you, your birthday is around the corner, you nee-d to shop for new clothes and plan as well”, Ivy said.
” I almost forget again about my birthday, thank you guys, let me freshen up so we can go shopping, it can also help me ease my thinking too”, they cheered me up.
“That’s my girl”, Piper added.
We went shopping, did lots of planning and had fun with the girls.

I tried finding out why the girls who talked to me in school mostly around the premises get beaten up, I just hope Lisa is not p@rt of this, well the truth will be out soon.
I thought of Nora, my phone rang and checking the caller, it was the nurse, I got scared.
” Hello, aunt”.I said on phone.
“Hey son, don’t tell me you are still cold and forgetful to visit your mother at the hospital with flowers, fruits hum”, It was mom’s voice.
Tears rolled down my cheek as I said,” Mom, mom, you are fine now, I will be with you now, do try and rest plea-se”, I said hanging up.
It was tears of joy, I ordered the taxi and headed to the clinic.
I went straight to my mom’s ward, I saw her sitting talking to the nurse, her smile made me happier.
I hvgged her so ti-ght, “How are you feeling now mom?”, I asked
“I feel much better seeing my only son here with me now”, she said to me ru-bbing my back.
” Am happy you are better mom”, I said bringing out fruits for her to eat.
“Damian when are we going home, am sick and tired of this place and I know have missed a lot, so how is your girlfriend I saw you on the phone the other day”, she asked raising her eyebrow continuously.
I can’t believe mom is asking about Nora, I just look for how to change the t©pic.
The doctor said mom can be discharged and she is fit now.
I thanked the nurse so much and st©pped a taxi to take mom home, I only wish she doesn’t go back to that p@rt again.
We had a long night because we talked about a lot of things but she kept bringing Nora’s t©pic but I kept changing it.
Mom was alre-ady fast asleep, I covered and went to my room, I brou-ght out my note to do some revision before slee-ping.

At school the next day, we all entered the clas-s, Nora bu-mp into me, we both said sorry same time and avoided each other.
We stared at ourselves even in clas-s but st©pped when the teacher c@m£ with the test questions and we had to write the answers out.

I was busy in my room thinking if I should go to Nora’s house to wish her a happy birthday and give her this gift have always wanted to give her or not.
After thinking, I finally concluded going because of what her father’s said.
I got set for the birthday but lied to mom about where am going so she doesn’t tease me this time around.
I wore the gray suit to fit the occasion since she is rich, I was lucky to see her at the entrance and she said,” Hi Damian, I didn’t expect you will come”.
“Sure, happy birthday Nora, here you go, your birthday pres£nt, hope you like it,” I said not able to look into her eyes.
“Thanks, Damian will open it in my room, come in and enjoy, will be cutting the cake shortly”, she said smiling.
I sat with Ivy trying to see if she can help me talk to Nora, I would love to have a conversation with her this evening.
” Well, why don’t you just ask her since it’s her birthday she will be in a good mood”.
“Okay thanks, wow I love this pla-ying, whose phone is pla-ying by the way “, I asked.
” Nora”s phone”, she replied.
“OMG, she has a great taste for music”.
They served us wine and we drank from it and talked about school.
All of a sudden, something else took our attention, it started pla-ying Nora’s voice note.
” Damian you j£rk, why admit you love me now when have been expecting it for a long time, do you know how to hurt I am, I feel like hitting you in the face now”,I chuckled.
“I felt hurt at the p@rty, I decided to make you feel hurt as well by ma-king you believe Xavier and I are together but we are not, am just pretending, is you I love, I love you Damian and have not st©p loving you till now, you were a fool not to k!ssme that day in the car, I miss you but why did you just decide to leave me, why did you tell me goodbye, it hurt because am talking to my phone now”, she started crying.
Then I smiled knowing it’s a lie, she never loved Xavier, what a relief.
I turned seeing her running from the stairs, she looked so beautiful, she quic-kly re-move her phone and ran out.
” Ivy I nee-d to end some unfinished business.”.
I c@m£ out to meet her at the garden ,I gr-ab her eyes and turned her to face me.
She stammered,”Oh D..ddd amian, it’s not me talking on the voice note, a mistake”, she kept on saying things that don’t make s-en-se.
I got the boldness and reached for herl-ips, our ton-gue mix with each other, she grip my suit and I held her w@!st as we continue k!ssing.
