KURT POV[Coffee Shop]
Okay, it might sound crazy but I choose to meet her here because it’s one of the most ro-mantic place that couples go to. I had plan my speech the moment she arrives, I’ll usher her to sit and then order for two cu-ps of coffee then we’ll talk, I’ll get to know more about her not just her name Val but other things like her hobby, places she likes to visit, her favourite restaurants and the rest.
You don’t nee-d to tell me, I know I’m crazy but you’ll also do same when you’re in love with an angel.
I relax in the cushion, patiently waiting for her when I heard the sound of a screeching car. I sits up and look throu-gh the glas-s to see another person, not her coming it’s someone else that’s coming. Even though I’ve only seen her once I still can recognize her but this person looks nothing like her. This face looks nothing like Val or is was she the one that answered the call?
She approach me with a flir-ty smile standing in front of me.
“Are you the guy with Val’s purse? ” She asked and I nod my head as a yes she then sat down while I did same.
“Sorry my friend couldn’t make it but she asked me to collect it on her behalf. “She said.
Busy?!
How can she be busy?!
Firstly, she didn’t answer my call and now she’s s£nding her friend? How rude can she be?
If I wanted seeing her friend I would have request for her address and not meet her here. She just ruin my chance of meeting her!

I picked up the purse? that’s beside me and hand it to her and she collected it giving me that smile but honestly, my day has been ruined and thanks to Val.
“You didn’t tell me your name sir. “She said as we both stood up. There’s no nee-d of me wasting my time here.
“Kurt. Tell her that I would like to see her. Give me her phone let me type my number. “I said and she obe-diently did. I typed my number into the phone and return it to her then we p@rted ways
Lee POV ?
Vera waited for him to drive away before letting out a victorious smile.
She has won over Val again, she thought.
She quic-kly transferred Kurt’s number into her cellphone and delete them from Val’s even the call entry. She’s going to get this guy at any cost.
VAL POV ?
[Vera’s House 2:40pm]
“I left it here Vera. Maybe we should check un-der the be-d. “I said to Vera, we’ve been searching everywhere for my phone but it seems like the phone is not even in this house. But, I’m very sure that I left it here a while ago.
“The phone isn’t here Val. ”
“It’s here. ” I saw Tess holding my phone.
What’s she doing with it?
I immediately collect it from her and check if there was any incoming call but there was none.
“How did you get hold of my phone? ”
Instead of her to reply me she hand me my purse.
“How did you…? ”
“He called to deliver your purse and I went to get it. ” She responded. I wanted to hit her really ha-rd but it was a good thing I was able to control myself.
“Who gave you the right to pick my calls in the first place Tess?! And you could have called me! What’s wrong with you?! ” I half yelled at her while Vera was trying to calm me down. My dream was to meet Mr. Cutie but she ruined it with her busyb©dy.
“You should be thanking me Val not yelling at me and I got your purse back anyway. ”
“Oh great! You want me to thank you?! Well, thank you very much Tess for getting my purse for me but I never asked you to! Why can’t you just mind your own business! “I yell at her.
” I think I know the reason you’re this mad but you don’t really have to because he doesn’t like you and for your information he told me to tell you to stay off his track that he never wants to see you again. And before I forget, his name is Kurt and not Mr. Cutie.” She laughed and went to sit down.
Tears gathered in my eyes as I looked at Vera, she was the only one I discussed him with but how did Tess got to know so much?

Adrian keep starring at the letter on his hand, he’s finding it ha-rd to give it bask to her. He wished to keep it but Mirrah has gotten involved and she’s watching his every move.
Steven had advised him to do as Mirrah said so they won’t end up having issues at home.He had re-ad the letter and it was really ro-mantic.
4:00pm, the school bell rang and the students start trooping out from their clas-srooms.
“I’ll be waiting for you outside. “Mirrah said and left. Minutes later, it was just remaining him and Stace and this is the time for him to return the letter.
” Hi Adrian. “She called hanging her bag pack on her back.
“Erm, Stace, do you mind? “He called her attention and she went to meet him standing in front of him.
“I love the letter you s£nt me but I cannot accept it. “He said and stretch it to her. Stace looked at the paper with disappointment in her face.
“Why can’t you accept it?” She ask him. As he was about to reply her, his phone starts to ring and in checking the caller ID it was Mirrah calling.
“I’m sorry plea-se. ” He said and ran off.
All along she thought he was going to say something nice to her but it’s fine, after all that’s what you get for been the one to ask a guy out first.

Ashley had gotten all that she nee-ded and as she was rushing she bu-mped into someone and the person’s bag including hers falls to the ground and she immediately bent down to pick them up.
“I am very sorry. “She apologized and then stood erect. She stretch the bag to the owner and whom she saw shocked her.
“It’s you! ” She said stunned.

LEE POV?
[MALL]
“It’s you. ” Ashley said stunned. The person she saw smile beautifully and collect her bag from her.
‘Hi, Ashley. “Lydia said ma-king sure her smiling face doesn’t fade as she’s shocked to have seen her here.
She has thought she will never have to see them again especially Ashley who didn’t consider her feelings before eloping with her then b©yfri£nd.
Seeing her now brou-ght back the memories she had thought was long dead and what she’s feeling right now is total res£ntment and hatred towards Ashley.
It was a long time ago but it still hurts like it happens few hours ago. The wound is still fresh but she’s not going to let her see her weakness. She’s going to pretend to be fine and fight the tears that are about to roll down and it seems like she’s succeeding as Lydia kept a straight emotionless face.
Ashley looked at her from her head down to her toe in amazement and of course jealousy. Lydia does not have the right to look this clas-sy.
“Look at you! It’s been years. ” Ashley said faking a smile.
“And the years just vanish cause I’m seeing you right now. ” Lydia said and there was irritation in her tone. She’s only st©pping herself from hurting Ashley right now.
Ashkey is totally surprised at her sudden transformation.
“What are you wearing? Oh my God Lydia you should have s-en-se of fashion! ”
Well, maybe, Ashley is just finding a way to tease and get Lydia annoyed as she always does and then make her cry as she usual but it seems like Lydia is stronger now compare to years ago.
“Anyway, you shouldn’t be here. This place is for clas-sy people. “Ashley said and tucked her sandy hair behind her.
Lydia laughed at what she said cause she’s going to put Ashley in her place.
” I should be asking you the same question my dear friend cause I own this mall. “Lydia said demonstrating with her hands and then turn to Ashley laughing.
Ashley’s face turns red cause she couldn’t believe what Lydia is telling her.
” You’re bluffing. It’s impossible! You can’t own this big mall, you’re incapable. You’re a stupid pauper. “Ashley insulted. Lydia raised her hand to hit Ashley but was quic-k to st©p herself.
“Arguing with you is pointless. “Lydia said and then summoned an employee in the mall and he appeared at once.
“I decide not to sell my goods to this rude wretched woman. So plea-se, take the bags back to the sto-re and inform the manager that I’ll come speak with her. “Lydia said without sparing Ashley a glance.
While these were happening, Ashley kept mute. She couldn’t utter a word.
” Yes ma’am. “He said and slowly slid the shopping bag from Ashley and went with them.
“I’m done with you. ” Lydia win-ked and want to walk away but Ashley dragged her back and ended up tearing Lydia dress.
“Security!, take this mad woman out of here! “Lydia yelled and they took her away.
Lydia adjust her dress and continue walking into the mall as the memories kept rushing back in. No one in their right s-en-ses will ever want Ashley to be their friend talk more of their best friend.
She considered Ashley as her best friend, and she even went ahead to introduce her b©yfri£ndSam to her and she thought she was happy for her until Sam left her with her pregnancy to be with her so called best friend and they left the country.
If not because of Mauricio, Lydia won’t have raised up again. But he was there to support her both financially and because of him she has become so powerful even in business industry.
Val POV ?
[Her house?]
I was hurt after what had happened but it’s not Vera’s fault anywayanyway, Tess is the one that won’t stay off my case. If she hadn’t ask Vera I’m very sure she won’t have said anything to her. Tess is a snake and I’m going to deal with her but why hasn’t Mr. Cut… I mean Kurt called me yet?!
I checked my phone for any missed calls but there was nonenone but did he really say what Tess said he said?
I don’t think so, he won’t say those things about me and besides Tess is a liar she can say anything just to get what she wants. That girl is a witch.
I was scrolling throu-gh my contact when I felt the pres£nce of another and I raise my head to see Vera.
“Common Val, I’m sorry. ” She apologized but I looked away. Even though I know it’s not her fault, I still feel betrayed for what she did.
“I was a snitch for telling on you I wont deny that but I was looking out for you. I have your best interest at heart believe me. “She added and then sit on the arm of the chair I’m sitting on.
“You shouldn’t have said anything to her. I mean, who in their right s-en-ses will answer someone else’s phone and then come back saying trash? That girl has always wish me bad luck Vera. She never want any good thing to happen to me. Who knows maybe she alre-ady has Mr. Cutie’s number. “I lamented and she started laughing.
” You’ll have to st©p doing that. “I said and she manage to st©p herself from laughing more.
“Im sorry I laughed but Val, his name is Kurt not Mr. Cutie and Tess won’t do what you’re accusing her of doing. Im the one begging you here. ”
I roll my eyes.
“Just promise me that you’ll st©p trying to make I and Tess to be friends. We can never blend Vera so st©p trying. “She raised her both hands in surrender.
“I won’t bother I promise. “She said and I smile.
“What’s in the kitchen? ”
“Don’t even go there except you want Mirrah looking or you. ”
“Why? O. M. G!, she baked another pie?! ”
“So, plea-se, don’t go to the kitchen. “I said but she didn’t even listen to me as she ran into the kitchen. I didn’t even bother to follow her, she’ll have to answer to Mirrah after all they’ve been doing same to each other.
Kurt POV ?

This girl named Val is nothing like nice, is she going to tell me that her friend hasn’t returned her phone still up till now?
Just for her to call me back and she’s acting like Miss World alre-ady. I know what to do, I’ll call her instead.
I di-p my hand into my front trou-ser pocket and slide out my phone?then scroll down to her contact. Very hilarious cause I save her name as ‘God’s Angel. ‘ I know it sounds stupid and when I found out that her name was Val, I didn’t even bother to change it.
I place the phone on my heart and funny enough for the first time it was ringing but someone on the run snatched it from my hand.
What bad luck!
I immediately went the direction the thief followed but he was alre-ady gone. Why does this have to happen to me? Just at the peak of my breakthrou-gh and the devil strikes.
God, why me?
I just lost the only means of getting in t©uçh with Val my Angel?
I hop in the car and drove off in speed.
How am I going to meet you now my Angel??
Val POV ?
[On the street/10:30]
I just have to let out my frustration on alcohol so I went to this bar to get drun!k.
It hurts to love someone and not to be loved in return. Why can’t he just call me back to make sure I get the purse?
Why are some men so heartless?!
What will it cost him to even visit Quezito?!

I hop down feom my car and was about entering the bar when a lady bu-mp shoulder with me and she was staggering to the road. I st©pped on my track as I continue look at her cause she looked a lot familiar. Im sure I’ve seen her face from somewhere before but where?
She was still staggering and ahead of her is a speedy car!
Is she that drun!kthat she can’t see an incoming car??!
‘Hey Miss, get away from the road! “I shouted but it was like she wasn’t hearing me.
The car was getting closer and there was no one to help so I ran to get her away from the road, I got hit by the car instead and I fell down. The car didn’t even wait as it sped off.
I felt a very agonizing pain all over my b©dy an I was lying flat on the ground. The lady bent down close to me and I was able to see her face. I recognize the face before blacking out.
