“Oh mine, Mom, is this the real me? ” I cant believe the power of transformation on my face. I look different even I myself can’t recognize myself.
I’m to meet WELLERS represĀ£ntative to sign the deal for the two of us and Mom is going extra miles. I wonder if I’m going for business terms or she’s just setting me up on a d@tĀ£.
“Will you quit if Val, ain’t you pretty? “She ask and I smile tou-ching my face. It’s really beautiful. I love this new me but the bad the bad news is, I’m not a fan of makeup.
Which girl wouldn’t like makeup? I’m weird.
“Stand up and try this shoe š on. ” I stand up adjusting the blue stylish long go-wn Mom made me to wear and stare at the shoe.
“Isn’t it too high Mom? I’ll settle for something lower. “I told her and she smile.
” Change your style for once Val. Common hurry up, I do not want you to be late for the deal. ”
She rush out of the room.
God!, I hate this job and I wish after this one there won’t be another.

“Ain’t you coming in with me? ” I asked.
“It’s between you two and Val, keep it professional. “I felt insulted that minute. She made if sound as if I’ll be interested in the said guy and flir-t with him. Like I care.
I hop down the car and she droveš off. I open my purseš and brou-ght out my phone then walk into the restaurant.
I stood by the entrance of the restaurant and dialed the number of the man Mom gave me and said I should call once I got there.

I raise my head to see a beard man waving at me and in front of him is another guy who’s wearing a suit just like the man.
I slide my phone into my purseš and approach them and that second our eyes met.

I lower my head and I feel his eyes on me but when I raise my head, he’s looking elsewhere. I have fallen de-eply in love with you Mr. Cutieš. How I wish he will just say a word to me.
Kurt POV š
“I’m looking forward to the shooting. “Mr. Mike said shaking my hands. I turn my face to look at Miss pretty but she was alre-ady facing the ground smiling.
After signing the deal, she left in a rush and while I and Mike are exchanging plea-santries, I noticed her wonderful but small purse šon the table. I pick it at once and ran outside may be I’ll see her but she was alre-ady gone.
Why will she forget her purseš? Girls don’t forget their purseš behind.
I opened it and saw her number on the card and dialed it and it went straight to voicemail.
How am I going to get her purseš back to her?
Val POV š
[Vera’s Houseš ]
“You did what?! Are you crazy or just acting stupid?! ”
“Calm down Vera, it happens when one is in love. ” I said to her.
“Which stupid love? How can you stood so low Val?! ” I wont blame her because she’s not the one in love and the funny thing is, she hasn’t meet my Mr. Cutieš
“Why are you getting mad Vera? I saw him at the signing today and I didn’t know what I’ll do so I left my purseš there. ”
“Oh, so you intentionally did that? I told you alre-ady that you’re crazy. ”
“Yea. I’m crazily in love with him can you imagine. ”
“Yea I can. I can imagine how you stupidly fall in love with a none existing human. ”
“No, I won’t take that! ” I frowning at her.
“But it’s true. What’s the difference?, you don’t even know his name. ”
“At least I know that we will get to work together and that will do. ” I said and walk out of the be-d to the kitchen. I nee-d to eat something before I become crazier.

Adrian unZi-p his bag and pour his books on the desk looking for something p@rticular.
His friends Steven and David are also helping him to look for it.
“Where is it? ” Steven ask him
“It’s not here. I don’t un-derstand either. “Adrian replied still looking for it but it’s obvious that the letter is no longer in his bagbag but he’s very sure that he has seen it there a while ago.
The letter is from Stace a pretty young lady whom he has been crushing on. He believe she also love him but he cannot approach her maybe because he’s lacking the confidence to or he’s avoiding the commotion that will happen at home once they learn that he’s in a relationsh!p.
“Looking for this? “Its Mirrah shoving the letter to his face. What he has been trying to avoid and only God knows how she got to find the letter or is she going throu-gh his things?
” Why are you going throu-gh my things? “He ask her with a straight face. Steven and David had alre-ady excused the two siblings to sort things out and afterall they all know Mirrah to be the bossy type, she like things to go her own way even if she was wrong unlike Adrian, he tries to hear your opinion and tries to put himself in your shoes and if the situation doesn’t favour you, he’ll go for the alternative. No wonder they say twins have different personality. Mirrah is the complete opposite of Adrian.
“That’s not the answer to the question I asked. “Mirrah fired at him. He feared that she might have gone throu-gh the letter.
“Just give me back the letter. ” He demanded but Mirrah isn’t re-ady to give it back. Like she wants him to spill the beans.
“Do you have a girlfriend alre-ady cause that’s exactly what the content in this letter is saying. ”
“I don’t have a girlfriend Mirrah, stĀ©p talking nons-en-se. “This is the reason he does not want her finding the letter.
“I’m talking nons-en-se! Then who the hell is Stace?! Why is she writing you letters?! What’s your relationsh!pwith her?! “Her voice was loud enough for other students in the clas-s to hear.
“Nothing, nothing okay! ”
“Then why were you looking for it? I saw the way you looked at me when you saw the letter on my hand. ”
“I was looking for it because I wanted to return it to her. I wanted to tell her to stĀ©p sĀ£nding me letters. “He lowered his head in shame. That was far from his intentions but he’ll have to that or else the news will get home and his mom will scold him.
“Are you sure? You intend to return the letter back to her? ”
Of course not! But he have to, it’s not like he has any other choice.
“Now plea-se give it back to me. “He stretch his hand to collect it and she hand it to him but didn’t re-lease her grip from it.
“Promise me that you will not change your mind. “Mirrah said giving him that sympathetic look.
“I won’t. “He said and she re-lease the letter to him.
She left the clas-sroom.
Stace Mandolin resumed Dominican college few weeks ago and since then Adrian had been looking at her lvstfully but he can’t talk to her at least we know why now. And it seems like he’s not the only one crushing, she too has been falling because she sĀ£nt him a letter and now everything has been ruined.
He just wish he can get away from his sister and mother because they’re not ma-king life easy for him.
His mom will be like ‘Adrian, getting into a relationsh!pis not advisable for you as you’re too young and you cannot handle the pains that follows. ‘
That’s his mother’s usual sermon and he’s not surprise that his big sis is still single uptill now.
Val POV š
[Vera’s houseš ]
“He hasn’t called yet. “I cried rolling on the be-d. I really miss him and my purse, won’t he return it at least?!
“Don’t be silly Val. How are you doing Tess. “I rolled my eyes. She decided to ignore me because of this girl?
“Wow Vera, this is a big ap@rtment. I bet Val didn’t help in paying for the rent. “She tea-sed.
” FYI, I don’t lavish money like you do and so you know girl, This house is not rented it’s hers. ”
She thinks highly of herself when in real s-en-se she’s the pauper here and just as I have expected my dear friend smiled.
‘It’s my inheritance from my parents. “Vera said and the stupid girl chuckles.
“Oh plea-se forgive me, I was only pla-ying around. ”
I roll my eyes. I hate everything about this girl. How should I like someone who wishes nothing but my failure?
“It’s fine. What will you like to eat? “Wait, she’s not trying to feed this bit-ch is she?
” Anything will do. Thank you Vera. ”
Isn’t she suppose to say I’m fine thank you.
This girl will not stĀ©p to amaze me.
“Right. To the kitchen Val. ” She said and stand up and I did too.
“I can come along. ”
I looked at her with so much anger and hatred.
“Hey miss, you’re a guest in this house so sit back and wait for your food to be delivered. ”
“Val. Never mind Tess, just enjoy the movie we’ll be back. “She dragged me to the kitchen and made me lean on the wall.
“What was all that about?! You were supposed to be ma-king up as friends not fighting. ”
“Why do you insist Vera?! Didn’t you hear what she was saying about me and you?! That girl is against our progress and now you’re going to cook for her?! Common Vera. ”
“Just forget it. She went to turn on the g@sā½.
Lee POV š
On the be-d is Val’s phone lying as she left it when Vera dragged her into the kitchen.Tess payed attention to the ongoing movie and then the phone starts to ring. Tess rush to the phone and check the caller id and it was an unknown number so she picked at the forth ring.
š± Hello, who’s this?
š±Am I speaking with Miss Valentina Montez?
The cute voice from the other end asked.
š±No, but I’m her friend. Why?
š±I have her purse. Can you tell her to meet me at the address I’ll sĀ£nd to her phone now?
He asked. Tess knew that she has to take this one. She has a feeling he’s the one for her.
š±Okay.
And she ended the call. Not up to 5minutes he sĀ£nt the address. Tess smile and rush off with the phone. She’s going to have this one for herself afterall Val doesn’t deserve anything good.
