“I hope all is well”. Cindy said.

Kapella sniffed and Cindy puts her hand around her n£¢k.
“Did Mom sp@ñk you that ha-rd ?”. She asked as she chuckled.
“Am fine, don’t act like you didn’t eavesdrop”. Kapella said.
“Of course I tried to but with all fu-cking walls in clas-sroom now sound proof, nothing goes in or out, yes I eaves dropped and will be glad if I had heard cos with the look you ain’t gonna tell me”. Cindy said.

She turned to the pool room and entered.

She said seated on the edge of the pool with her legs in the water.

“No, Ella it’s never your fault, that’s the Arrowood, they try to get what they want without caring if they hurt anyone”. Cindy said.

“If you still have intentions to, I can disable it for today”.

The Operation room manages minor CCTV operations in the school.
She inhaled heavily as she closed her eyes and took off her br@celet.
She felt that vibr@ted as she could see flash of images of a Mermaid’s skeleton.
She opened her eyes and her iris changed to blue for a seconds and back to normal.
She pushed open the door and the Operator on the swivel chair turned to her.

Mrs. Kapella’s word c@m£ as a big shock as she sat slowly on a desk with mouth wi-de open.
“I know it’s unbelievable and ha-rd to take in, that’s why I’ve kept it for so long”. Mrs. Elijah said as she sobbe-d.
“The hair, the craving your sea meal, the abilities in water, I was a Mermaid all along”. Kapella said almost screaming.
“I scared you’ll become evil, it’s going to change you completely”.
“How do you know that? How do you know I’ll change, I’ll never be evil, not for any cause, not because I’m now super powered or whatever”. She said.
“Your Mother says it’s beyond control, it makes you think a different way and do thing not caring the manner you do it all because you want it done, I’m afraid it’s gonna change you”. Mrs. Kapella said.
“And maybe if you just told me earlier, I wouldn’t be singing or jumping into a pool”. Kapella said.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t… I was frighten…..”.
Kapella hvgged her ti-ghtly and breath.
“Am never gonna leave you mom, I promise, you’re still my Mom even if you ain’t my birth mother and now I have a lot of questions”. She said.

She asked and Kapella calmed.

Kapella gro-an ed as she felt a slight pain in her head.
She now knew things she didn’t know before.

“To prevent the footage from leaking which can be used to nail her brother in court, she had me delete everything”. He said.
“That’s good then, who else had seen the footage?”.
“Only I and Miss Ashley, she has a copy my Lady”. He said.
“What do you mean she has a copy?”.
“She asked me to copy the scene of the incidence for her and delete every other which I did?”. He said.
“$h!t!”. She cursed.
“Can you get it from her?”. Kapella asked.
“I can’t, she’ll know something is on”.
“That’s right “. Kapella said as she moved to the system and rewind the online footage of the libr@ry.
She zoomed into what Ashley was watching and g@sped.
” The glow appeared outside the water, the c@m£ra caught it “. She roared.
” I nee-d to get the footage, I’ll to mind control her”. Kapella said and paused.
“I charm people when they concentrate on me, when I lure them to fall for myl-ips but Ashley hates me, I can’t cause her to concentrate on me… Alternative”. She said and walked out.
Cindy entered into the libr@ry and sat in front of Lovely who was studying.
“Don’t drill holes into my head with your eyes, I’m not not here for you”. She said.
“And what could have made you think, I’ll be staring at you?”. He asked and she looked back.
“Because seeing me, reminds you of Kapella and it also then remind you that you that caused her to be heart broken, you think you’re ever gonna find a friend like her again, you just let go of a gold”. Cindy said and without letting him reply plug her earpiece in.
Lovely g@sped as she tried to re-ad but couldn’t as he could see invisible Kapella’s image all over the book.
He closed it and closed his eyes but it was wrong.
He gro-an ed angrily and hit his desk.
“Brother, are you alright?”. Ashley asked from behind.

She gave it to a man in black at the door.

Her phone buzzed and she took the call.

“I know there are lot of students then just fu-cking get the Principal to find him”. She said and disconnect the call angrily.
Ashley’s guard entered into the elevator and pressed a bu-tton on the call box.
It made a ‘ding’ sound and closed slowly when a hand slide in and it opened.
Kapella leaned on the wall and bit her l!pas she stared at him.
“Kapella Elijah, I finally got to meet the Arrowood’s headache”. He said.
“And you just met yours”. She whispered as the elevator door closed.
The Principal could be seen walking toward a clas-sroom with a student behind him.
They st©pped by the transparent wall and the student pointed to Francis who was seating on a female students desk as he laughed and pla-yed wit her hair.
“That’s him”. He said.
The principal checked the picture on his phone and raised his head to see Francis again.
“Of course it is”.
He dialed a number and placed the phone on his ear.
“I found him”. He said.
The Elevator’s door opened wi-de and Kapella catwalks out as she hung the l@pt©p bag behind her.
Ashley’s guard was standing in there like a dried up tree as he watched her leave.
Kapella puts on her br@celet again as g@sped as she closed her eyes.
She opened them and looked back.
Ashley’s guard walked out of the elevator and st©pped by her.
“Kapella Elijah, The Arrowood’s headache”. He said.

She exhaled heavily and shook her head.

“Mom was right, she was right”. She cried.
“Kapella?”. She heard her name and quic-kly cleaned the tears.
“Hey Cindy”. She said as she faked a smile turning back.

She leaned against the wall ma-king only the handle visible as her b©dy was hid the other p@rt.
“Why are you staring me, I’ve told you, we can’t be girlfriends”. Ashley said as she approached her.
“I know, am I asking?”.
“You really got guts, don’t think you’re un-der a safe wing because my brother is by your side, I still got my eyes on you”. She whispered.
“Good news, if you haven’t noticed we ain’t together anymore so can you excuse us?”.
“He broke your tiny heart alre-ady”. Ashley said and chuckled.

“Will you tell me about the bag now?”. She asked.

Kapella quic-kly pu-ll-ed out the CD drive to re-move the disk but was shocked as it was empty.

Ashley had something on her other hand just now.

She roared angrily as she flung the l@pt©p over the ground and walked away.
She wanted to take off the br@celet but paused as she saw students running to a p@rticular direction.
That was when it hit her that only the Arrowood event can attra-ct such crowd.
She raced immediately to break throu-gh the big crowd to get a view of what was happening.
Francis could be seen writhing in pain on the ground as Diaz kicked his face repeatedly.
“Let him go, plea-se am begging you”. Cindy cried as she tried to break from Finn’s grip as he held her ti-ghtly.

Diaz stared at her blankly and she didn’t even wait for for him to stretch as she took the phone from him and drew the unlock pattern.
She handed it over to him and he was still staring blankly at her.
“And will you let her go as well “. Kapella asked and Cindy broke from Finn’s grip.
They carried him Francis up and he gro-an ed.

Diaz deletes the video from the phone and smashed it on the wall.

“You will because a copy of the video is in my SD card and right now it’s in my pocket”. Francis said in a low tone.

“Just give me a knife Jane, so I kill the child with my last strength”. She said.

“Neither will I forgive you if you let the child to die here or put her into an orphanage or another family”. Anita said.
“Anita don’t do this to me”. Mrs. Elijah cried as she held her hand.

She turned to the left hallway and almost bu-mped into Lovely who was standing with his hands in his pocket.
She cleared her throat and moved to the left but he moved as well.
She went left and he did as well and that was when she raise her head up to him.
Her eyes blinked as she stared at his cold face.
“Ouch!”. She said as he gr@bb£d her hand and pu-ll-ed her along.
“Lovely!”. She called out as he dragged her to the balcony and leaned over it.

“Francis.. Why are you asking?”. She said.

” You can do it? “. She whispered as she took off the br@celet and approached her.
“Ashley..”. She said and she turned back.
“How can you see me when I’m washing my makeup off, do you want to die?”. She threatened.
“Um.. Maybe I just wanted to say am sorry, I might have offended someway and if you nee-d me to be ugly alright but do you have the capability to chase your brother’s away”. Kapella asked as she stared at her face.
“Do you un-derestimate my capability?”. She asked as Kapella bit her lowerl-ips thereby drawing her attention to it.
Kapella began to sing slowly and softly as Ashley was still engrossed in herl-ips.

“Dispose the b©dy?”. Mrs. Arrowood said as the tied Mermaid dessicated.
She dropped the jar of salt and walked out as her guards followed her out.
The teen girl remaining in the building untied the dead Mermaid and dropped down it down.
She moved to the door and peeped to see the other workers as they excorted Mrs. Arrowood out.
She hurriedly took the red h0t knife in coal and gro-an ed as she resist the heat to her flesh.
She approached the first Mermaid and cuts the rope off her speedily.
She slumped down weakly and she re-moved her gag.
“Listen you nee-d all your strength now more than ever get up and help the rest”. She whispered as she cuts the rope from another Mermaid who was tied to a pillar.
The rose up and started loosing the rope off the others.
“Keep your face down, there’s a c@m£ra”. The lady who was freeing them said as the c@m£ra in the room concentrated on the moving bodies.
The alarm began to blare loudly and she stamped her feet on the ground.
“Damn..”. She cursed and rushed to the door as she bolt it.
“Open up!”. They could hear voices behind the door.
“Hurry!”. She said as she moved to another tied Mermaid.
That was when a tractor from the other side broke throu-gh the door letting the men in.
She pu-ll-ed out the revolver behind her and fired at the men.
“Go! Go!”. She screamed as the Mermaids abandoned the rest and flee throu-gh the back door.
The men fired endlessly and it caught two running ladies, they
seized fire as the teen girl stood in front escaping door.
They raced off and pushed her off the way as they ran throu-gh the corridor that lead out to the Jetty.
The Mermaids who were at the Jetty alre-ady dived into the sea as the men opened fire but they were in alre-ady.
They ran back into the warehouse as Mrs. Arrowood entered hurriedly..
“Where are they?”. She roared and they looked down.
“They escaped ma’am, about ten of them, we only got two”. A man in black said as he point to the two Mermaids on the ground.
Mrs. Arrowood pu-ll-ed out the revolver behind her and s£nd two bullets into the head of the mermaids.
She exhaled heavily and raised her head up.
“We still have forty of them ma’am, well make sure we capture the escapee”. They said.
Mrs. Arrowood looked around at the other Mermaids.
“When you catch a fish and throw it back into the sea, do you think you’ll catch it again?”. She roared angrily and gr@bb£d the shi-t of one of the men.
“Get as many men as you can and secure the perimeter of the sea immediately”. She roared and she left.
“How did they escape? Where’s the Operator who sounded the alarm”. She asked and an old man walked in.
“I sounded the alarm as fast as I could”. The man said.
Mrs. Arrowood took the broken rope on the ground and scoffed.
“Who helped them escaped?”. She said and he swallowed the saliva in his mouth.
“Who?”. She roared.
“Danny’s daughter Ma’am”.
“What Danny?”.
“Danny A., your cousin Ma’am”. The Old man said as his eyes trailed to where the girl who had freed some of the Mermaids leaned against the wall.
“Roxy”. She said.
“Umhmmm”. She asked as she dropped the knife.
Mrs. Arrowood moved toward her and sl@pped her across the face.
“What have you done?”. She roared.
“Atoning for the sins of my damn father”. She said.
“So this was it, you lied you were now p@rt of us”.
“Am I the first to lie”. Roxy asked.
“You weren’t born of a Mermaid but whatever puts their mentality in you…”. Mrs. Arrowood said and paused as she turned to the men.
“Lock her up”.
“What?”.
They gr@bb£d her and dragged her away as she struggled with them.
“I wont let you find her, I won’t let you find Anita”. She cried as tried to break from their grip.
“Arrange her flight, first thing tomorrow s£nd her back to her father in Spain”. Mrs. Arrowood said.
“Yes Maan”. The man in black said and left.
“And you”. She said as she turned to a woman.
“It’s time for Mermaid Hunt, Call my children, tell them to return home immediately”. Mrs. Arrowood said as she heads for the door.
“Candy’s school is still unknown ma’am. Our Agents haven’t found him yet”.
“I don’t care if they you can’t get the rest of my kids here, Get Candy here or you’ll face my wrath”. She threatened as she walked out.
“Very well Ma’am”.

Kapella sudden felt a pain like an electric shock and gro-an ed.
Ashley stared at her and cleared her throat.

” I have a good voice don’t i”. She asked and Ashley ti-ght£ñed her grip.
“If you got a thing for me, come out clear and don’t beat around the bush”. She said and let go of her chin.
Her phone buzzed and she bite herl-ips.
“Don’t ever try to make me feel jealous or I’m gonna kill you”. She threatened and walked out as she took the call.
“Hello Mom”. Kapella could hear her vanishing voice.
She g@sped as she moved to the mirror.
“She concentrated on me, I lured her but…. “. She said and paused.
“It didn’t work, it backfired, I can’t control her”. Kapella whispered.
