A smile fell on his lips as he shed tears of joy, Crystal was looking up at him with a weak smile on her face.
She felt tears slipping out of the corner of her eyes as she stared at him.
Nancy was crying right behind them, her face full of joy and smiles, it was tears of joy now.
“Heartbeat” She whispered and he took her palm and buried it into his hands while staring affectionately at her.
“I missed you” She said.
“I missed you so much” He replied with a voice filled with immense emotions.
She lifted her hand up to his face and touched his face, caressing it softly.
“What happened to your face?” She asked.
“I got into an accident too, that day I was behind you” He replied and she gasped, she tried to sit up but she fell back to the bed. She was feeling bad already, he got into an accident because of her, it was all her fault.
“Easy muffin, don’t force it” He said and she lay back on the bed.
“I’m sorry for getting you into an accident, it was because of me” She said in tears and he kissed her hands.
“I’m the one to say sorry for not being able to save you that day, I’m sorry, please don’t blame yourself” He said and she smiled in tears.
“Cherrie” Nancy called at last.
Carl finally looked up, giving space for Crystal to stare at her.
“Mum” Crystal called softly, feeling happy to see her, she should be feeling angry but she couldn’t bring herself to be angry at her mum, she loves her so much.
“My baby” Nancy said happily and took her other hand, kissing it in the process.
“I’m so sorry, you can get married to Carl if you want, I approve of your relationship with him, I’m sorry for slapping you, please forgive me, I’m sorry” Nancy said at once, her tears pouring like rain.
“Mum, I’m sorry too” Crystal smiled, touching her hand.
“Forgive me” Nancy sniffed, emotions reflecting in her eyes.
“I’m not angry at you mum” Crystal said.
“Carl I’m sorry for slapping you” Nancy faced Carl.
Carl smiled and bowed.
“I’m not offended, thank you for approving our relationship, I will take care of your daughter” Carl said.
Nancy looked at him and sighed.
What will happen when the truth will be out? How will they take the news?.
Nancy stared at Crystal and hugged her on the bed.
“I missed you so much baby, thank you for coming back to me” Nancy whispered, touching her hair gently. She began crying as she hugged Crystal. Crystal raised her hands and wrapped it around her body.
“I’m so sorry baby, you can get married to Carl even if you want it to be tomorrow, I will get the wedding gown” Nancy said.
Carl and Crystal started laughing.
“I love you mum”.
“I love you more, thank you for forgiving me” Nancy said and pecked her cheeks.
She stood up and faced Carl, she quickly pulled him into a hug.
“I’m sorry son” She said, hugging him tighter.
“Ma’am” He called.
“Forgive me”.
“Stop saying that” He said and hugged her back.
“Where is dad?” Crystal asked.
“I’m here” Daniel said, coming inside.
A smile fell on his cheeks as he rushed to the bed.
“Cherrie, I’m sorry, we are sorry, forgive us” He started apologizing.
“Not again dad, I missed you two”.
“We missed you too. You two can date, I’m in full support of your relationship with him” Daniel said and Crystal widened her arms with a smile on her rosy cheeks.
Daniel smiled and hugged her.
He broke the hug and looked at Carl, feeling guilty.

Carl hugged him before he would complete his sentence.
“I am tired of hearing the sorry word, it was all my fault” Carl said.
“No it wasn’t your fault, it was our fault” Daniel said as they broke the hug.
Crystal was looking at them while smiling, nothing feels good like waking up to see your parents allowing you to date the man of your dreams.
“I will go get the doctor” Daniel said, his eyes met with Nancy and they shared a knowing glance.
“Ahhhh!!” Anne screamed as the call hung up.
The girls faced her with confusion and worry written on their faces, they thought she had heard bad news.
“What is it?” Paisley asked.
“Guess what babies? Carl and Crystal are awake” Anne shouted, happily.
“Yay!!!!!” The others screamed in joy.
“Let’s dress up” They said at once and all of them rushed to their closest and started looking for what to wear.
They got dressed after some minutes and dashed out of the hostel.
They met the guys outside, it seemed they were coming in.
“Where are you girls rushing to?” Harrison asked.
“Carl and Crystal are awake” Lucy replied.
“To the hospital” Red shouted.

“Crystal” Anne called as she ran into the ward fast.
Their eyes widened when they saw Carl and Crystal are really awake after weeks of staying unconscious.
Right now, Crystal was sitting up on the bed whilst Carl sat beside her, their hands locked together.
“Baby” Paisley called and pushed Anne aside, she rushed to Crystal.
“Paisley” Crystal smiled as Paisley hugged her.
“I missed you so much” Paisley pouted.
“I missed you too Paisley” Crystal said, returning the hug.
“I’m glad to have you back, thank you for coming back” Anne said as she hugged her, she started crying.
“Stop crying, I’m back and I’m not leaving” Crystal said.
“Don’t scare us again okay” Linda said and stepped in for a tight hug.
“I’m sorry baby Linda” Crystal smiled.
“Were you planning to remain there” Harrison said and poke her forehead lightly.
“Hey dude wanna die?” Carl glared and everyone laughed, Harrison hugged
“Welcome back” Kingsley said, hugging her.
“You haven’t eaten since she went unconscious” The guys said.
“Gosh!! No I haven’t f*ck since she went unconscious, thank you for coming back, now I can start f*cking” Red said, earning a laugh from her and the rest.
All the hugs they gave her were light ones.
“You can never be serious” Carl said.

“I was planning a trip to that place to get you back” Red said and Carl giggled.

“Thank you guys, I’m so happy to see you all” Carl said with a smile on his face.
“Welcome back mr romantic” Anne said and formed a bump. Carl smiled and bumped fists together.

“Hey!!” Crystal frowned, making everyone laugh.
“Stop with the jealousy” Linda rolled eyes.
“As the chef I’m, I will cook you a delicious meal to welcome you back properly” Paisley said.
“He doesn’t need it, I will cook for him” Crystal gave her a side look.
“Said by someone who can’t boil ordinary water for tea” Linda mocked and everyone started laughing.
“I hate you!”.
Someone walked in slowly and everyone turned towards the door.

Lucy walked to them with guilt covering her face, immediately she got to their front she went on her knees, surprising Crystal and Carl.
“What.. What are you doing?”.
Lucy looked at them with tears in her eyes.
“I sent the picture to your dad, I’m sorry for betraying you, please forgive me, it was all my fault that you two got into the accident, I was so jealous of you two that I ended up betraying our friendship. Carl I’m sorry please forgive me” Lucy begged as tears rushed down her cheeks.
Strangely Carl and Crystal weren’t surprised by her confession nor did they get angry with her for doing that.

“You admitted your fault and this should be a lesson to you” Carl said, and Lucy broke the hug to stare at him.
He smiled at her and she smiled back.
“Now the group is complete” Red said, smiling.
“Yes!!!!!” They chorused.
“Carl!!” Dassie shouted running in, Steve was behind her.
She ran into his arms immediately.
“Dassie” He called and hugged her back.
“You’re awake, I was damn worried, don’t scare me next time” She said, almost tearing up. She was so happy to see him awake. She visited the other week and her heart was in shreds seeing him laying there unconscious.
“I won’t, bestie” He said, feeling glad to see her again.
Crystal stared at them with jealousy as they hugged, she was feeling uncomfortable with the hug and she kept wishing for him to break it.
“She’s not taking your boyfriend away, jealous queen” Lucy said and she looked away from them.
They finally broke the hug and Dassie faced Crystal.
“Welcome back” She smiled at her.
“Thank you” Crystal replied.
“Hey everyone my name is Steve” Steve said and everyone greeted him.
“He is my boyfriend” Dassie said, smiling and staring at Steve.
“Take good care of her, if you ever make her cry I swear I will kill you myself” Carl said.
“I won’t try it, I love her so much” Steve said and Dassie’s cheeks got heated up.
“Get ready for me tonight, I will break your legs” Red whispered to Anne, and a blush crept up to her cheeks.
Carl faced Crystal as they stared affectionately at each other.

“I love you a lot, heartbeat” She replied.
