Carl and Crystal walked out of the room holding hands as they made their way downstairs.
They will be resuming school today, after skipping out for a month now.
Crystal healed faster than anything, thanks to the doctors. Their skins are back to normalcy, no scar or scratch on it.
She was able to take the news, thanks to Carl by her side, he didn’t leave her side even for a second for the past two weeks.
A press conference was held on the City TV where Daniel announced Carl as his son to the whole world. Everyone is now aware that Crystal isn’t their real child.
But they made Crystal understand that she will always be part of the family, her dating Carl already cemented the relationship. She has accepted the whole truth.. They have accepted the reality.
In one sentence, she’s gotten over it.
Daniel has bought a mighty mansion for them, and they are the only ones living in the mansion currently.
Carl kicked against the idea of having maids around the mansion. Only a few guards were around the mansion.
Everything is back in place, everywhere is calm, no enemies around.
He suddenly kissed her lips and a smile crept up to her rosy cheeks.
“Heartbeat” She called softly in her hidden tiny voice, it was sounding just like an angel voice. So melodious that he felt his heart racing faster.
“Are you the owner of that voice?” He asked gently and carefully like he was trying not to offend her.
“Yes, why do you ask?” She replied prettily, bashing her lashes cutely.
He smiled handsomely.
“I haven’t heard you speak like that” He said.
“My hidden talent” She laughed and he joined her.
“You’re so silly, I love you” He said..
“I love you more Carl Bills” She smiled.
“Sometimes I want to blame your father for switching us at birth but do you know why I won’t blame him anymore?” He asked and she looked him in the eye.
She shook her head.
“Cos of that we became lovers, fate has its own way of doing things, had it been weren’t switched at birth we wouldn’t have met in the first place, talk less of becoming lovers” He replied as she hugged his body.
“You have a point heartbeat, but I can’t help it but still be angry with my father” She said against his chest.
He gently held her face and she looked up slowly.
“You should forgive him, I have already forgiven him, you should do so too please!” He said in a melting voice and she nodded.
“I can see a bright future ahead of us, we are getting married and having children, cute ones” He whispered.
“I can’t wait to become your wife, I badly wanna be there for you forever” She muttered, staring at him with deep affection.
He stared back with adoration in his eyes for her.
“I will always be by your side in any condition or harsh situation, my promise to you Muffin” He said, his eyes and body in accordance with the emotions and love in his heart.
“I will be the best girlfriend, stand by you, I will never leave your side, we will be together forever” She said and took her pinky finger.
He smiled and they crossed their fingers together making a promise.
“Our code” They said together.
“You’re my life, my princess” He said.
“You’re my king, you owned my heart”.
“I love your tiny voice, it’s making me crazy” He said and carried her.
“It’s my desire to always make you crazy about me” She blinked cutely.
She wrapped her hands around his neck, their faces facing each other directly.
A warm feeling settled in the bottom of their stomach as they stared into each other’s eyes with nothing but pure and bliss love in their eyes.
The posters of Carl and Crystal were pasted on the wall of the school building, starting from the gigantic gate to every building in the school.
The school was filled with students from the Engineering and computer science department. They occupied 80% percent of the population of students there.
They were screaming crazily while awaiting the arrival of Carl and Crystal.
Every student there was holding a picture of Carl and Crystal in their hand, waving it around while shouting.
Red announced to the whole school that they will be resuming school on Monday.
Suddenly, Carl’s red new customized bugatti drove into the school park.
Their eyes couldn’t stop widening as they saw their pictures on every wall starting from the gate.
“What’s happening?” Carl asked.
“I don’t know” She replied.
The door automatically opened and they came out of the car.
Immediately a thunderous scream filled the whole park.

The students surrounded them instantly, taking pictures and making videos, the guards were shielding them from the crowd of students..
Lot of comments kept coming out as their pictures kept flying in the air.
Carl and Crystal kept smiling at the way they were welcome back by the students. They never knew they were celebrities till now. Is this how suddenly people started loving them this much? They were overwhelmed with happiness and joy filling their hearts.
Their names are on everyone’s lips and their pictures are everywhere in the school. Gosh!!!… If someone prophesied to them that a day would come like this they would have denied it completely.. But right now it’s happening right before them, they have become so popular not only in the school but in the country. She’s still getting the love despite not being the daughter of the Bills again, the love is still there.
“We love you all” Crystal shouted and the screams increased.
Carl turned Crystal to himself and kissed her there.

She responded immediately as her hands flew to his hair, her hands moving deeper into it as they kissed, their lips rolling against each other beautifully.
Mason heard the knock on his door and stood up from the couch he was laying on, his eyes were red from crying so much, he couldn’t stop blaming himself and regretting his actions.
He has gotten lean in a couple of days since he isn’t feeding well again, all he does is to drink and smoke all through the weeks.
He walked dejectedly and lifeless to the door and opened it but his eyes widened at the people he was seeing.
His daughter and her boyfriend are right there at his door.
Crystal held her gaze with him. She noticed how pathetic and lean he has become. She has ignored him for weeks now but she can’t deny the reality that he is her father. She has to accept it and forgive him to finally have peace in her mind.
“Dad” She called and for a tickling minute Mason thought he was hearing things.
Did she just address him as Dad? That… That just came out of her mouth? For real?.
That wasn’t the most shocking part, she surprised him by running into his arms and giving him a tight embrace.
His eyes almost ogled out.
Does this mean she has forgiven him?.
“Dad!” She called softly. So he isn’t hearing things?.
“Daughter” He called as tears of joy escaped his eyes.
“I have forgiven you” She said, crying slowly.
His heart knew no bound of joy as he heard the sentence from her. She has forgiven him, meaning she has reduced the burden on his heart.
“I’m sorry for being a useless father, please I’m sorry, I will make up for the years I was away from you, I will give you all the love” He said but her eyes went to the table, she saw weeds, cigarettes and alcohol.
“I will only believe you if you promise to stop smoking and drinking”.
“I will never smoke or drink again, I will change a new leaf for you, I want to be a good father to you, thank you for forgiving me” He said and she broke the hug to stare at him.
She smiled and hugged him again.
“Let’s try to grow memories together” She said and he smiled. They kept hugging till Carl cleared his throat.
” Aren’t I welcome here?” He asked.
Mason broke the hug and his eyes went to him.
“Father in-law” Carl said, walking to him.
“Carl, thank you for making her forgive me, I’m sorry for taking you away from your parents for 20 years” Mason said.
“Your act brought us together, we can’t play fate, everything has a reason for happening” Carl smiled.
“You have a golden heart like your parents” Mason said and hugged him.
“Take care of her please”.
“You don’t need to tell me that father in-law” Carl said and winked at Crystal, she smiled whilst staring at them with happiness in her heart. So it’s true forgiveness brings happiness.
Eyes were looking at Carl and Crystal with regrets in her eyes.
Succie, her face is bruised up due to the torture she is receiving from her cruel any wicked inmates even her father hasn’t visited for some weeks now.
She was looking so dirty and roughed up her hair so messy.
“Crystal” Succie called.
“Look at what you have done to yourself because of jealousy and hatred, I didn’t do anything wrong against you but seek for my downfall to the point of planning such evil against me with Jake” Crystal said.
“I’m sorry Crystal please forgive me, I destroy myself, it’s hell here, I did a couple of bad things even plotting an attempted rape against you” Succie started crying.
“I have forgiven you, I know you were behind the rape but decided to let it go since I had no evidence against you that time, but when you will finally come out of here you should turn a new leaf, it’s not too late to change” Crystal said.
“I’m sorry Carl” Succie faced Carl.
“My baby has forgiven you so you are forgiven, change for a new life, it’s not too late” Carl said.
“Time up” A cop said.
“Bye Succie” They stood up and started walking out.
Succie stared at their backs as the cop took her in. If she had known!!. She won’t be in this hell of a place. She’s going back to her torture ground again, tears started coming out of her eyes as she walked regretfully to her cell.
She will have to endure till when she will be out.
After settling with his parents he took over his rightful position. He’s now handling all the companies of his father. Last week was hell of work for him, he didn’t get the time to rest.
Currently he’s sitting on the bed with Candy as she helped him to pull off his shirt. He just got back from work.
“Work was hectic right?” She asked.
“It’s better today compared to other days, gosh! I miss my lowlife living” He groaned and she laughed.
“Handling all your father’s company is hell of work, what about a massage?” She whispered and he quickly turned.

“Feathers university” She replied, playing with his hair.
“I’m going to register you soon” He said and she smiled.
“Thank you Jasper, I love you dearly, I don’t know how to thank you”..
“Anytime you want to thank me just kiss me” He said, gazing his eyes on her face..
Candy blinked prettily and kissed his neck.
“No my lips” He said and she giggled.

“What!!” He frowned.
“I will kiss you only if you will beg me, say please!” She said, acting so cute..
“I don’t want to” He said.
“Then forget about me…Ahh” Her sentence ended with a moan as he slid two of his fingers into her cunt.

A music was playing in the living room as some people occupied the living room. It was none other than the twins and their boyfriends.
Matthew and Dylan.
Leah is placing her head on his thigh while Rachel is sitting on Dylan’s lap and resting back on his arms.
Dylan and Matthew got introduced to the family and they were accepted wholeheartedly.
There is a bottle of tequila on the center table.
“It’s so hard getting a secretary who is as smart and intelligent as you baby” Rachel said.
Dylan got promoted as a manager now.
“Are you saying I’m the only smart person in Australia?”.
“Cut it off, such proudness” Leah scoffed.
“Hey don’t scoff at my boyfriend” Rachel said..
“Whatever” Leah rolled eyes.
“I got one for you, she’s so smart and hardworking” Matthew said.
“Send her to my office tomorrow” She said.
“Sure” Matthew said.
“The CEO get-together party is next week”.
“I will be going with my baby” Leah said and kissed Mathew.
“Some days ago someone rejected the visit” Rachel said, indirectly mocking Leah.
“Rachel!!” Leah got down and started coming for Rachel.
Rachel got down from Dylan’s laps and started running upstairs whilst laughing loudly.
“I will kill you” Leah said and followed her upstairs.
“They are a handful” Mathew said.
“I know, right?” Dylan replied and they smiled.
The guys and girls rented the lounge for their own use only, so no one was there except them.
The group is incomplete as Harrison and Kingsley are yet to arrive.
Crystal is sitting on Carl’s lap.
Red is busy acting all lovely with Anne.
“Singleness is a disease” Lucy said, fanning herself, her mind was all occupied with Kingsley, suddenly she started finding him attractive and her heart kept beating for him, it started the day she saw him shirtless and gosh!! she can’t get that picture off her head, she’s badly wishing to see him.. but she felt sad immediately she remembered Linda is in love with him, she has to let go of her feelings, it was all her fault, only if she considers his feelings that time, it’s too late now.
“We are all sick,” Paisley said.
“Try and get a boyfriend, girls” Anne shouted.
“Shut up” The girls snapped at her.
“Where the hell is Harrison and Kingsley?” Carl asked.
“Those idiots aren’t picking my calls” Red said.
“Guys!” Kingsley shouted, coming in with Harrison.
“Bastards, where were you two?” Carl asked.
“Calm down Mr Bills” Harrison said.
Paisley’s eyes were on Harrison while Linda’s on Kingsley.
“Listen everyone, we have been wanting to do this… But we were waiting for the CC to wake up” Kingsley said, getting everyone’s attention.
“What!!?..
Kingsley and Harrison shared knowing glances and suddenly raised a plaque which has some writing on it.
Paisley and Linda’s eyes went wide, on the plaques were written words.
“I LOVE YOU PAISLEY, PLEASE BE MY GIRLFRIEND?”.
“LINDA, WORDS CAN’T EXPRESS HOW I LOVE YOU, CAN YOU BE MINE?”.
