{AWAKE: MUFFIN AND HEARTBEAT}
“I had three abortions for him and the night I developed the phobia was the day he raped me on a rainy day. He broke up with me after the third abortion, telling me he can’t be with a slut. I almost died but luckily I survived it. Anytime it’s raining I will always see the memories and the cries of the babies I aborted crying painfully in my head” Rachel was in tears as she told Dylan about her dirty secrets.
Three abortions!!.
Dylan was looking at her with a blank face, and when she looked up and met the look on his face, her heart sink.
Fear filled her heart big time.
Will she lose her relationship? What man would want to stay with a slut like her?. Metawin was right, she’s a slut.
Dylan’s face was holding so much emotions on it but she wasn’t able to notice it cos behind that blank face there was an emotional gaze on it.
She’s so ashamed of herself.
She was deeply in love that she did all these things for Metawin without thinking twice or about the future consequences.
She was picking nervously on her nails as silence took over the room. She was expecting him to say something but no word came from him, only his gaze on her which she felt.
“What were you thinking? Three abortions?” He asked in a calm tone.
“I was blindly in love” She hiccupped, unable to stare at his eyes.
He never talked again, and that was scaring her more, her heart was tearing apart.
“Are you going to break up with me?” She decided to ask the question in her mind.
No answer came from him, that made her look into his eyes.
“I won’t blame you if you decide to break up with me, what man in his right senses will want to date a slut like me, I’m totally useless” She said and started crying again.
Dylan frowned at her sentence, what’s she thinking?. The frown on his face was unnoticeable to her though.
“I’m sorry for not being the lady you wanted, the perfect lady… You don’t love me anymore Right? I understand..
“Can you stop talking and look at me” He said.
Rachel raised her head up slowly and looked into his eyes.
He took his hands to her eyes and started wiping her tears away, she was looking intently at him.
“You’re such a dummy” He said and cackled, making her confused.
“Do you possibly think I will hate you because of that? I’m angry at that bastard Metawin, I feel like killing him right now” He said and she found herself smiling.
“I don’t disgust you?”.
“No, you are still perfect, even without your womb I will still love you, nothing can stop me from loving you” He said and tears started pouring from her eyes. Her eyes went wide.
Those words got her so emotional, in an emotional trance!.
Is that how much he loves her?.
“Don’t think I will ever stop loving you, I will help you to overcome your phobia, stop living in guilt” He said.
The emotions running through her was unexplainable. Getting a man like him in this era is rare.
What would she ask of him again? He’s all that she needs, her life, her joy and her happiness.
That moment she realized her life would be meaningless without him.
“I love you, you are not breaking up with me right?” She asked cutely.
He smashed his lips on her instantly, pulling her more closer. Rachel melted into the kiss, her arms covering his body as they kissed hungrily.
They broke the kiss after some minutes and began staring at each other lovingly.
“You look so cute and tiny while crying” He said and she frowned.
“I’m not tiny, were you doing that to scare me?” She asked and he nodded.
“I hate you, you almost gave me a heart attack” She pouted
“I was only teasing you, pouting makes you more cute” He chuckled and she blushed.
“You belong to me Rachel” He said, his eyes developing some emotions in it.
“I’m yours, I know, I belong to Dylan Morris, only him” She said prettily and he hugged her.
“Are we still doing it tonight?” She asked, covering her face.
“You are something else Rachel” He began laughing.
“I will bathe you and after that we’ll get into the job” He winked seductively.
“I can’t wait” She said, and he carried her up from the bed.
She smiled and crossed her hands around his neck as he started walking to the bathroom with her.
“I will ride you tonight baby” She pouted cutely.
He stared at her and smiled before stepping in.
“Ride me to heaven” He whispered as he closed the door.
After putting Prof Jennifer in her place, Anne now faced Red, glaring at him.
“How dare you b*tch?” Jennifer asked shockingly.
“B*tch? You’re the b*tch here, you should be ashamed of yourself, he is your student, is this how you go about throwing yourself to your students?” Anne said.
Jennifer felt defeated, she’s right anyway.
“Stay away from my boyfriend professor Jennifer” She said.
Jennifer glared at her and walked to her car, driving out.
“And you!” Anne pointed her finger at him and began walking to the door of the mansion.
“F*ck you Jennifer” Red said and followed right behind Anne.
“Baby” He called when they got inside.
“What??” She faced him angrily.
“I’m sorry” He said.
“It’s your fault, you started this nonsense, placing a bet with your friend that you must f*ck her and right now she’s over you jerk” She snapped.
Actually he told her everything about his past and life, she does the same too. There’s nothing hidden to them.
“That was when I was still a playboy, I can’t cheat on you”.
“I know, I will personally kill you the day you will try, I might have let Dalton go but I won’t let you go scot free if you dare cheat on me” She said and Red flinched. What kind of girlfriend has he gotten for himself?.
“Bath before even thinking about touching me” She said and climbed the stairs.
Red’s hands dropped as he stared at her shaking her huge @ss upstairs.
“I have gotten myself a superwoman as a girlfriend, I bet she will beat me up one of these days” He said.
Nancy adjusted Daniel’s tie as he dressed up. He is having an important meeting today with investors from Spain and he has to be there himself.
“I love you” He said as she finished adjusting the tie.
She smiled dully.
“You have to be strong, wifey, nothing will happen to them” He said.
“I can’t wait for them to wake up, I’m missing them” She said and hugged him.
“I missed them too” He replied and kissed her hair.
“About Mason?” She asked, bringing the topic up.
“Do you want me to get him arrested?”.
“If I wanted that I’d have asked you to arrest him yesterday. But I don’t think I will forgive him”.
“I allow him to go because he’s Crystal’s father” He said.
“I wonder how she will take the news”.
“This is so complicated!” She said.
His phone started ringing and he brought it out to see his secretary calling.
“I think I should be going now” He said and broke the hug.
“Take care darling” She said and kissed him.
“Take care too honey, love you” He said and walked out.
Nancy sat on the bed and dipped herself in thoughts.
The guys are having no lectures today being Friday, they are still in bed.
“I’m hungry” Red yawned.
“Repercussion of f*cking” Kingsley said.
“Shut up, I promised myself not to f*ck till the CC will wake up” Red said.
“Awwn” Harrison and Kingsley said.
“Really? A p*ssy King like you?”.
“I’m no longer a playboy dummy” Red glared at Harrison.
“We believe you, you spent the night with Anne praying all night” Kingsley said.
“Gosh!! When are you two confessing?” Red changed the topic.
“Let’s cook” Harrison said and took Kingsley’s hand, taking him to the kitchen.
“Come here you two bastards” Red yelled after them.
Dylan smiled as he checked the statistics of the sale of the new wine the company released today. The sale was so huge, the wine is on so much demand.
His telecom rang on the table and he stood up, walking to Rachel’s office.
He entered the office and met her smiling, she threw herself at him at once.
“What is making my baby so excited?” He asked.
“The wine sale, I didn’t expect this, thank you for supporting me, this is the first time this company will record so much sale on its debut, I love you!!” She said loudly.
“Are you planning to bring this building down?” He asked and spanked her ass.
“Dylan” She moaned his name.
They began smiling at each other, she grabbed his face and kissed him.
He responded to the kiss and the struggle of dominance started.
Someone suddenly coughed and they broke the kiss and turned to see Leah standing at the door.
“I can’t be oppressed,” She smirked.
“A mood spoiler”.
“Hope you two weren’t planning to f*ck here?, If two want to f*ck go home” Leah said.
“Get a boyfriend” Dylan said.
“Shouldn’t you start respecting me as your in-law?” Leah said.
“Never” Dylan scoffed.
“The sales are much” Leah said.
“Thanks to my sweetheart here” Rachel said and kissed him.
“And me” Leah scoffed, and Dylan laughed.
They were about to start arguing when Leah’s phone rang.
She looked at the screen to see a strange number but she still answered.
“Hello pretty” She heard the sweet familia voice.
“Who’s this please?”.
“Matthew” He replied and she gasped.
“How did you get my number?”.
“Should you be worried about that? Calling to know how you are doing” He replied and he found herself blushing.
“I’m fine, WBU?”.
“I’m fine now that I’m talking to you”.
Gosh!! His words were sending more heat to her cheeks.
“What about dinner tomorrow night?” He asked.
“Yes, yes!” She almost screamed but she controlled herself.
“Okay later pretty” He said and hung up.
Leah kept smiling even as the call ended.
“Got a man already? You are blushing, who is he?” Rachel asked and she rolled eyes.
Candy came out of the car and she started feeling nervous.
What if her parents reject her?.
She’s poor and not the kind of girl they will want for their son. They are billionaires and freaking rich.
“What are you thinking about?” Jasper asked behind her.
“Nothing” She replied with a smile.
“Still thinking about my parents huh? What did I tell you before? They will like you, stop getting yourself all worked up, I’m here with you” He said and she smiled.
“Let’s go in” He said and took her hand.
They walked in like that.
“Young master” The maids greeted upon seeing him.
But he didn’t respond.
“Why aren’t you responding to their greetings?” She asked.
“I already told them to stop calling me young master” He replied.
Madelyn who was in the living room quickly stood up as she saw them walk in.
Her son is here!.
“Son” She called with joy in her eyes.
“Mum” Jasper smiled.
“I missed you baby” Madelyn said and hugged him, Jasper hugged her back.
“I missed you so much, are you back to me now?” She asked and he nodded.
“I’m back to stay” Jasper said and broke the hug.
Madelyn’s attention now went to Candy.
“Who is she? Your girlfriend?”.
“Yes” Jasper said.
“Wow! she’s so cute and young” Madelyn said and hugged Candy, surprising her to the core. Did she just hug her? Does it mean she likes her right?.
“You’re so cute, what is your name?”.
“Candy”.
“Such an angel, I love you so much” Madelyn said and Candy smiled, hugging her back this time.
At that moment, Lucas came downstairs and he saw the scene.
His eyes met with Jasper and he faced his wife.
“Who’s she?” Lucas asked, his eyes on Candy.
Candy became nervous, why is he looking at her like that?.
“Jasper’s girlfriend” Madelyn replied.
Lucas gazed at Candy and then faced Jasper.
“Is she the one you really want to be with?” Lucas asked.
“Yes” Jasper said.
Lucas smiled and moved closer to Candy.
“You’re pretty” Lucas said and Candy slowly looked up, her head was down all this while.
“Welcome to the Warren family” Lucas said.
Candy smiled and looked at Jasper.
He gave her a look which said, “I TOLD YOU, DIDN’T I?”.
Carl and Crystal have responded so much to treatment in the past weeks. Now what is left for them is to wake up.
Nancy walked into the ward and stood in the middle of the room as she stared at them.
She marched to Carl’s bed and slowly sat down. She stared at his face and she started getting emotional.
“My baby” She said and took his hand, rubbing her thumb on it.
“I’m sorry” She said and sniffed back her tears.
“Please wake up, I’m waiting to apologize to you, I am waiting for you to scold me for slapping you, for you to get angry at me, you were right beside me but I didn’t know, please Carl, I’m so sorry” She said and kissed the back of his hand.
She touched his forehead and placed a kiss on it.
“Please wake up, you are scaring me” She said and stood up from the bed with the intention to move to Crystal’s bed. She took just three steps when she heard a voice behind her.
“Muffin” She heard the faint voice again and turned to meet Carl’s eyes open.
“Muffin” He said clearly now.
“Baby” She rushed to him.
“You’re awake?” She asked and took his hand.
Carl looked at her and smiled.
“Ma’am, I’m sorry” He said and tears fell from her eyes.
Even on the sick bed he is apologizing to her.
“I’m sorry baby” She said and hugged him.
“Where’s Crystal?” He asked.
“In the same room with you” She replied and he sat up from the bed at once, he groaned in pain.
“Please take it slow baby, you are not strong”.
He looked at her and wondered why she’s suddenly calling him baby but he didn’t think much about that.
He turned and his eyes fell on Crystal’s bed.
He didn’t know when he came down from the bed and ran there.
His heart broke as he stared at her.
“Muffin, I’m sorry, I’m awake now, please wake up” He said.
“I’m back now, please come back” He said as tears escaped his eyes.
“Please!!! please!!” He said but her eyes lid didn’t move.
“Muffin” He started crying.
Unknown to him that her eyes lid was shaking now.
“Heart…beat” Her weak voice came up and he quickly turned to find her eyes open.
“Muffin” He said.
“Heartbeat” She replied and more tears escaped his eyes.
