š KING’S FESTIVAL (1) š
Kimora’s heart almost jumped out of her mouth as it started beating fast that instant
“Indirect… hvg?, I can imagine my legs and arms getting pu-ll-ed out of my bĀ©dy alre-ady… Gosh! ‘ she thought, staying still cos Jimin is still holding her
“What am I doing?” Jimin asked himself, slowly letting go of her
She stepped away from him and started avoiding his gaze, she tĀ©uƧhed her hair, feeling awkward and she started ru-bbing the ground with her leg
“Aren’t you gonna say anything?” Jimin said and she quic-kly went on her knees then bowed quic-kly
“I’m sorry your highness, It wasn’t intentional” she said
” I never told you to say sorry” he said and she looked up
“Huh? ‘
” Rise up” he said and she did slowly
” Thanks for the flower painting” he said and she bowed
“It’s my plea-sure to gift you that your highness”
“I view the stars from the garden, I don’t want to be late so they won’t run away” he said and she smiled
” Alright your highness” she said and he left , taking the path that led to the garden
Kimora tĀ©uƧhed her che-st and breath ha-rd
“Phew!, That was shocking, why did the lousy thun-der had to strike?, Gosh! ” She remarked , walking to the fence where she climbe-d the ladder and sat on it, watching the stars alone
“No big di-pper tonight” she smiled, trying to count the uncountable stars in the sky
“No one has ever tried that, it’s always uncountable” she said, relenting eventually
She breathed heavily and her mind went to the burnt kiwi tree again
“What really happened that day?, I don’t seem to un-derstand a thing” she thought
” Then my reflection in the mirror, what’s the meaning of all that?, I’m going crazy I don’t even know the meaning of everything” she thought
She returned to staring at the stars and started singing
**The stars are bright enough to illuminate the world’s darkness**
**Watching it in the solitude of my loneliness is the best thing ever**
**But watching it with my loved one will be the best best thing ever….the stars are beautiful, just like me**
She stĀ©pped singing and squinted
“Will I ever get a lover?, I guess no, who’ll love a maid anyways” she pouted
” Child, every human has his or her destined lover, it’s left for you to find him, though he’s just right beside you” that voice said in her ears again and she looked around to see no one
“The same voice that told me to tĀ©uƧh the head of the prince, who’s it” she wondered
” I can’t reveal myself to you right now but when the time comes, I will… and be careful, a dark entity is coming soon, don’t give him control over yourself, finish your mission” the voice said and her heart skipped beats
She looked around frantically and lost balance on the fence, she fell off and started going down at a fast pace but fell into the arms of someone instead of falling down
She opened an eye first but when she saw the person, she quic-kly opened the second eye
“Your highness!” She said shockingly
Jimin was actually coming from the garden with Cory when he saw her falling and his head told him what to do so he never argued before rushing to save her
He placed her down gently and she stood upright
“You …. Saved me again” she said
“Yes I did, I’m expecting another flower drawing” he replied
“I’d gladly draw you as many as you want your highness, thanks for saving me again” she said
“Always be careful on the fence” he said and she bowed as he left
“You’re so clumsy” Cory said when she looked up
” Whatever” she replied
” But you’re special in a way” he said
“What way?” She asked curiously
” Besides princess Suzy, queen Sera and princess Royalty, you’re the only girl he has ever tĀ©uƧhed, so that makes you kind of… different” he said with a smile and left
“What’s he talking about” Kimora sm-irked before going back to her room where she met Tania waiting
“Hey, the king’s festival is tommorow and a loud thun-der strike just sounded, isn’t that a sign of rain?, Maybe it’ll rain tommorow” Tania said
” Maybe” Kimora sighed, sitting on the be-d
“Queen Rachel will be out of her lock-in tommorow”
“Yes” Kimora yawned
” The King’s festival is always fun. I hope the maids will be allowed to attend tommorow” Tania said as Kimora sle-pt on the be-d
” Yeah” she said
” Hey you!, Why are you giving me short answers you’re so boring!” Tania said, slee-ping beside her
” You have a room” Kimora replied when Tania hvgged her on the be-d
” But I love you, I want to sleep here tonight plea-se” Tania replied and Kimora pinched her cheeks
“Ok troublemaker, goodnight” she said and closed her eyes
“Gnight Kim-Kim” Tania replied and sle-pt off immediately
Kimora opened her eyes and all her sleepiness flew out throu-gh the window
She kept repla-ying the indirect hvg scene and the rescue from the fence scene over and over again in her head, unable to stĀ©p thinking about it
“His eyes” she whispered, closing her eyes to picture his eyes in her head
She opened her eyes and smiled.

Jimin’s room**
“You seem to be getting closer to her fas-ter than I thought” Cory said, entering with Jimin
” Who?”
” Lady Kimora” Cory replied
“Nothing like that, it’s just normal to save that poor thing” he replied as Cory helped him to take off his robe, leaving him in his inner white garments
“We’ll see about that, but do you realize you’ve never tĀ©uƧhed any girl besides her?, … Ok you hvgged your mum, hvgged princess Suzy and princess Royalty, after them, who else?, And they’re all your family” Cory said
” Meaning?”
” She’s the first girl you’ll ever talk freely to, have you forgotten that back then in France you hate as-sociating with girls?, How forgetful…. Goodnight” Cory said and sle-pt on the other be-d
There are two be-ds in the room and it’s because Jimin ordered it to be like that, he insisted they must sleep in same room
*It’s better, at least you’d be able to shut your mouth” Jimin said as Cory started dozing off
He sat on his be-d and sighed
“He’s right” he said, thinking about when he saved her twice earlier
” The urge to save her always flow anytime she’s in danger, why?” He asked himself, standing up to pace round the room
“Can’t believe I hvgged her though it was indirect” he thought, sitting on the be-d again
He remembered her smile and closed his eyes before laying on the be-d
“This is the craziest thing I’ve ever encountered, Jimin snap out of it, Jimin Jung wake up” he said to himself and before he knew it, he’s alre-ady slee-ping
DREAMLAND**
Jimin Is walking leisurely this time, looking around at the same time, it seems like he’s looking for someone
“She should live around here, I nee-d to thank her for saving me” he said, still looking around for his guardian
“Jimin” the beautiful tiny voice said from behind him and he looked back to see the white angel smiling brightly at him
He returned the smile and walked to her
“Whoa!, You’re so beautiful” he said, staring at her
” Is that why you were looking for me?, To say this?” She asked, still smiling, fondling with her white hair
“Actually I want to give you this” he said, bringing out a nĀ£Ā¢klace
It has a shinny white Jade as the pendant and the lace is made of white beads too, it’s just too attrac-tive
“A nĀ£Ā¢klace?” She said, taking it
“Yes, to thank you for saving me, I made it myself, it took me three nights to finish it so it’ll hurt if you don’t take it” he said
” I’ll take it, I can’t reject any gift from you” she smiled, trying to fix it on her nĀ£Ā¢k but she found it difficult
” I’ll help” he said and took it from her, he went behind her and packed her silky smooth hair to her che-st so he’ll have enough space to fix it
While doing that, she noticed a mark on her nĀ£Ā¢k, like a flower tattoo, it’s shinning too
“I love your tattoo” he said after fixing it
“It’s not a tattoo though it looks like one, it’s my birth mark” she replied
” Who exactly are you?’ he asked
“I dunno too , but it’ll be revealed to me soon, I was just told to guard you as your guardian and I’ll gladly do that” she replied, they’re walking the forest together right now
” Oh…ok, I’d love to ride an horse with you right now but too bad I didn’t bring my horse along” he said
“What’s the name of your horse?” She asked
” Yul” he replied
” Yul ” she said and almost immediately, the horse appeared in front of them, his eyes wi-de-ned
“It’s here!” He said
“Are you ri-ding or not?” She said
“Of course I’ll do that” he replied and climbe-d the horse, she appeared on the horse behind him and held him, resting her head on his back
“Feels good” Jimin thought
“Go” she said and he jĀ£rked the horse forward
It moved, racing down the forest and as it raced, everywhere turned more beautiful
“Guardian, thanks for ri-ding with me” he said but got no answer
He looked back, she’s slee-ping alre-ady and her long lashes are hvgging each other prettily and her long white hair is flowing with the air, he can’t help but drool on her
“Why do you have to be so beautiful?” He said to himself
“StĀ©p staring and just go” she said, surprising him
” You’re not slee-ping?”.
” A guardian never sleeps” she replied, still closing her eyes
The horse started galloping down the slope till it reached the edge of a cliff
“No!!, Yul stĀ©p!, StĀ©p!!” He screamed but it didn’t stĀ©p, the horse jumped over the cliff and instead of going down, it started flying in the air
“Whoa!, Guardian you’re awesome” he said
“I know right?’ she replied behind him, holding him ti-ghter..
END OF DREAM**
Jimin woke up sweating heavily like the other time,the headache is here again
“I saw her again, I saw my beautiful guardian” he said, smiling despite his headache
” But my head….” He gro-an ed, waking Cory who spranged up and walked to him
” Jimin what’s wrong”
“Headache, my head is just…. ringing” he said, holding it ti-ghtly, sweating abnormally
” I’ll go get the palace physician” Cory said and made to go but he stĀ©pped him
” I’ll be fine don’t go….”

Kimora’s room**
She spranged up from her be-d too, she just had the same dream Jimin had
She’s breathing heavily
“My different self… and prince Jimin?, Why?, Why am I seeing things?” She wondered and tĀ©uƧhed her che-st, her hand tĀ©uƧhed something hanging down her nĀ£Ā¢k and when she tĀ©uƧhed it, it’s a nĀ£Ā¢klace
She got down from the be-d and went to the mirror, headmaid Ambrosia gave her another one alre-ady
She stared at the nĀ£Ā¢klace and surprisingly it’s the one he gave her in the dream, her heart skipped a beat
“And the mark, I’ve always had the mark, I have it” she thought, turning her back on the mirror and checking her nĀ£Ā¢k out, the mark is there boldly, small flower tattoo
“What’s the meaning of all these?” She wondered.

Next morning**
It’s the day of King’s festival and everyone is just in a festive mood
The festival involves the king’s parade round the town in an open palanquin with the royal family
It creates union cos the two princess will ride the same palanquin and the two princes will ride same, then only a queen will be allowed to attend it yearly and queen Sera is the one this year
The town paths has been decorated cos it is to be taken by the royals today
“It must rain today, the thun-der last night means something” Ginelle thought, walking round the town to watch the festivities
She bu-mped into someone and staggered
“Are you blind like a bat or something?’ she questioned when she saw the guy
“Oh..the girl who c@mĀ£ to the palace on the day of the execution?, I heard you’re kimora’s sis” he smiled
” So that’s why you planned to kill me” she rolled eyes
“I’m sorry I bu-mped into you, I’m br@yden, a twin brother to Janis, son of Morris Jung the king’s sĀ£nior brother” he said
” I never said I nee-ded introduction so stĀ©p being a pest and just leave, how annoying” she said and left quic-kly
” I heard she’s crazy, so it’s true” br@yden smiled.

Royal palace**
Everyone is busy preparing to go for the king’s festival parade but excluding the maids, the maids were forbidden from attending the festival and Tania almost cried
“I’ve been planning this for long, how can they forbid the maids from attending” she complained
” The royal shaman said it so just sit” headmaid Ambrosia said
“Kimora won’t you say something?” Tania said to Kimora who’s sitting silently on a kitchen stool, thinking about all that has been happening
“I don’t care about anything right now, I just want to dissappear” she whispered and Tania hissed
” You’re weird in case you dunno” she said
Kimora stood and walked out of the kitchen only to come across Cory
“Lady Kimora, prince Jimin nee-ds you right now” he said
“What’s wrong?”
” The headache, you nee-d to tĀ©uƧh his head before he’ll go for the festival I beg you” he said, pu-lling Kimora alre-ady
” Wait I nee-d to…
” No time just follow me!” He said, running with her to Jimin’s chamber
Janis sighted them entering Jimin’s room and looked on confusedly
“What is she doing in his room?’ he thought
Kimora got to the room and truly Jimin is in pains, holding his head on the be-d, he’s dressed for the festival alre-ady and he looks more handsome with the single earring on his right ear but the pains looks unbearable
“Do something plea-se” Cory said
“He might fall asleep like he did the other time and won’t be able to attend the festival” she replied
” Just do it” Cory replied and she walked up to him
She sat beside him and gently held his head, he closed his eyes and stĀ©pped gro-an ing, he calmed down Immediately
“plea-se don’t sleep,you can’t” Kimora prayed silently and he opened his eyes slowly, she smiled
“Your highness” she said
“I’m ok, I don’t feel sleepy’ he said
” It worked, I really nee-d to cut your hands and steal it” Cory smiled as Jimin got down from the be-d
” As if you can” she replied
“We nee-d to go right now we’re late” Jimin said,
Cory helped him with his shoes and his cap
“Thanks Kimora, I nee-d to go now” he said
“Come out five minutes after” Cory said and left with Jimin
” I’m relieved” Kimora smiled and saw a fan on the be-d, obviously a royal fan
She took it and fanned herself with it, looking around the room
It’s super clean and smells nice!
“Just like him” she blu-shed.

Queen Rachel’s room**
The maids finished dressing her up and they all kept wondering where she’s going cos everyone knows it’s queen Sera who’s following the king this year
She stood with a knowing smile on her redl-ips and sĀ£nt out the maids
She walked to the mirror and picked her magic fan, she fanned herself with it and her face changed to Sera’s face immediately
She smiled at the transformation before dropping the magic fan, she then picked the royal fan she stole from Sera’s room
“You’re sitting here today Sera, I’ll go in your place” she said and left the room

The two princess c@mĀ£ out at the same time and everyone g@sped at the beauty
Royalty is pretty in the multicolored robe and her makeup is as simple as her beauty and her hairstyle is gorgeous, adorned with silver jewelries
Suzy is beautiful too in the yellow robe and her face held a frown as usual, her ears and hair were be-decked with golden jewelries
“Princess Royalty is so cute!”
“Princess Suzy is pretty too, just that her frown…”
The maids whispered among themselves
They looked at each other and Suzy sm-irked before entering the open palanquin
Suzy entered with her and they kept a good space between them
Jimin c@mĀ£ out with Cory and none of them seems to be able to take their eyes off Cory, he used single earring on his left ear just like Jimin, they’re both too cute!
“Prince Jimin is handsome!*
” I want to faint!”
” It’s a killer handsomeness”
Cal c@mĀ£ out with Darrin and without waiting, he entered the palanquin meant for the princes
Jimin entered with him and a good space was kept between them too
Every of the royals has their royal fan of honour with them except Jimin
The palanquin carriers carried them and moved them out of the palace to join the festival
King Jung Mal left with Sera since some minutes ago…
Queen Sera c@mĀ£ out to find that the royals are gone, she was busy searching for her royal fan of honour and that’s why she has been in since
“They’re gone?, Did he leave with Rachel instead?, How can his majesty do this to me?” She said, keeping in her anger.

Kimora c@mĀ£ out of Jimin’s room with the fan and head straight to the kitchen
Headmaid Ambrosia and the other maids are there, eating and chatting
“Since we’re not allowed there, then we’re doing ours here” Tania said
” Isn’t that the royal fan of honour?, It belongs to who?” Headmaid Ambrosia asked
” Oh, it’s prince Jimin’s” Kimora replied
“What!, It’s a sign of honour in the festival, used to wave, he can’t wave to the townspeople with his hand, he nee-ds it direly” headmaid Ambrosia said
” Huh?” Kimora said
“What do we do?, And we’re not allowed” Tania said
“I’ll go give it to him” Kimora said, rushing out of the kitchen
“No Kimora wait!!” Ambrosia shouted after her but she never listened…
