š KING’S FESTIVAL (2) š
Kimora ran out of the palace, heading for the town with the fan in hand, not thinking of anything else but to give it to the prince
“Just wait a little bit prince Jimin, your fan will get to you, I’ll make sure I bring it to you” she said in her mind as she ran but she suddenly stumbled on something and fell heavily
She tried to stand but it’s like something is pinning her down
“What’s happening?, Why can’t I stand?, What’s wrong? ‘ she asked herself, trying to stand again but it’s Impossible
She suddenly heard a shrill loud laughter and looked around
“Nukayo? (Who are you?)” She asked fearfully
“Lioness, the one with the greatest powers in Miryang, and now it’s my turn to ask who you are, why can’t I see your face?, What’s the meaning of that darkness around you? ” The voice asked
” The voice at the forest the other time. ” Kimora thought
” I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m losing time I must go” she replied
“You can’t step a foot into the festival, stay there” Lioness replied
” And who are you to tell me that when I don’t even know you! ” Kimora replied, staring at the fan
” You’re not allowed to move an inch from where you are till the festival will be over, you won’t be able to stand” Lioness replied and Kimora smiled knowingly
She can feel a different power coursing throu-gh her
“Jasinisseoyo? (Are you that confident?)” She said, slowly standing up
” You broke my spell? ” Lioness said and shock is obvious in her voice
Kimora stood fully and faced down, she can feel the transformation happening within her
She transformed to the all white girl and looked up, her pink eyes is scary and not friendly as white flames surrounded her
“Since you refused to show me your face, I should come to you myself” she said and vanished.

The festival is alre-ady happening in town as the royal palanquins made their entry into the alre-ady decorated paths
The townspeople bowed and waved as the first one containing King Jung Mal and Rachel pas-sed by
They both waved their fans to the people, a sign of oneness and unity
“Good to see the townspeople happy your majesty” Rachel said said beside him
” Of course, it makes me happy too and I hope the heavens will allow rain” he replied
” It’ll surely rain” Rachel replied and King Jung looked at her somehow
“Your voice changed somehow, is something wrong?”
“Oh…. so-re throat your majesty, but it won’t be for long” she replied
King Jung continued waving and Rachel smiled
” So this is the honour Sera would have been blessed with if she was the one who c@mĀ£, glad I c@mĀ£ in place of that uglyface” she smiled arrogantly.
Palanquin of the princesses**
Royalty smiled charmingly as she waved the royal fan at the people who are busy bowing in respect
Her smile is beautiful and heartwarming, so much that any man will fall for it instantly, Suzy waved and tried all her best to keep a thin smile on her face and that thin smile looks gorgeous
Royalty looked at her and sighed
“Smiling like that everyday will make you look more beautiful” she said
“I never said you could talk to me” Suzy faced her with a frown
” And who said I wanted to talk to you?, I just feel pity for you so I thought of giving you a useful advise, instead of spending your time getting jealous of kimora’s beauty, spend that time to smile and get more beautiful.. stepsister” Royalty smiled and looked away from her, returning to her waving
“One of these days I might just do something you won’t expect to you” Suzy thought

Palanquin of the princes**
“Where did I put my fan?, I can’t find it” Jimin said, searching frantically for his fan
He can’t possibly wave with his hand
“Did you not bring it?” Cory asked, walking beside the palanquin
“Moleukesseoyo (I don’t know)” he replied, looking bothered
” It belongs to those who are honourable anyways, you must have forgot it cos you don’t deserve it” Cal replied beside him
” Keep your filthy mouth shut and just stay away” Jimin replied and Cal smiled mockingly
” What should we do?, It’ll look weird if I don’t wave, this is my first outing it’ll give the people the impression that I’m arrogant if I don’t wave, darn it” Jimin muttered

š„ Gosh!, Divine handsomeness
š„ But he’s not waving..why?
“I knew it” Jimin said
“Your highness, hould I go back to the palace and search?” Cory asked
” That’ll be better, be fast” he replied and Cory left
Cal is burning with fury but he’s keeping it all in, Jimin is obviously receiving all the good comments from the people while he’s receiving nothing
“You’re the only problem I have and I have to get rid of you” Cal thought, folding his fist.

Lioness was busy pacing around her shrine when Kimora appeared, her presĀ£nce shook the whole place and lioness was definitely shocked
She looked up at lioness angrily, her pink eyes is flamy and looks dangerous
“So…you’re the one, the non-human in the palace” lioness said
” Disrupting my mission is your greatest mistake” Kimora replied, her long white nails glittered immediately
” Protecting prince Jimin is not allowed, I hold the key to his life” lioness replied and Kimora snarled
” Shut it!, If at all you have a key, it’s fake!, You’re getting wounded right now” she said, flames surrounded her and she dived into the air, she swiftly got to Lioness and gr@bbĀ£d her nĀ£Ā¢k, slamming her against the wall
“You’re… you’re messing with the wrong…. person” lioness said, trying to break free
” I should be the one telling you that, you working for Rachel will cost your life” Kimora replied, ti-ghtĀ£Ć±ing her grip on lioness nĀ£Ā¢k
“Aarrgh!, And why won’t you show your normal face?, It only shows you’re a coward!” Lioness spat
” When the time comes to show my human appearance, that is .. if you can still see with your eyes then, you’ll get to know, but for now, take this gift” Kimora said and spit out blood from her mouth to lioness face
It hit her left cheek and it started burning up immediately as if acid was poured on it
Kimora vanished and lioness fell on the ground, screaming in agony..
Kimora appeared on that same spĀ©t she vanished from, now in her normal human form, she stood, not un-derstanding what just happened
She looked at her hands and saw it’s back to normal, she’s with the fan again, her eyes wi-de-ned
“Oh no, I nee-d to go give him” she said, running all the way to town
She got a Sk-irt from a drying rope and covered her head with it, rushing till she got to town, she had to trace their steps and they’ve really went far
“I’m losing time” she said, walking fas-ter
Soon she caught up with them and smiled, covering her head more carefully
” His Majesty’s palanquin left first the other time, then the princesses followed, the princes are the last” she thought and took a de-ep breath
She c@mĀ£ out of her hiding place and started ti-ptoeing towards the last palanquin
The people don’t seem to notice her, all they have their attention on is the royals
She caught up with the last one and peeped in throu-gh the second entrance that has no guard
Luckily she saw who she’s looking for and a big smile covered her face
“Your highness” she whispered and Jimin looked at her slowly, his eyes wi-de-ned
“Lady Kimora!” He almost exclaimed, he’s too shocked
” Your fan, you forgot it” she said, pointing it at him while trying her best to keep up with the pace of the palanquin carriers
“It’s too dangerous to be here, do you wanna get executed?” Jimin replied
” You nee-d your fan and I cant stay without doing anything” she replied
Cal looked their way and anger consumed him
“What the heck is she doing here!” He snapped
Jimin quic-kly pu-ll-ed Kimora into the palanquin by the arm and made her sit between them
“What do you think you’re doing!” Cal said loudly again and Kimora shivered
Jimin is about to reply when a loud thun-der rumbled in the sky and the palanquin carriers stĀ©pped
“Rain?” Jimin said
“It’s going to rain?” Cal said, looking up
Kimora kept staring at Jimin’s face without stĀ©pping as he looked up nervously
She suddenly felt his hand on hers and looked down at it, he gr@bbĀ£d her hand ti-ghtly and she can feel his hand shaking
“Your highness?” She said and he looked at her slowly
Immediately their eyes met, heavy torrents of rain started falling and the townspeople shouted for joy, no one bothered to hide from the rain cos it’s too joyful, it’s what they’ve been praying for for long
“Close the palanquin of the princes” king Jung ordered his guards and four of them quic-kly c@mĀ£ to pu-ll down Jimin’s p@rt so rain won’t pene-trate
Kimora and Jimin kept staring at each other all along , not looking away for once
Cal smiled devilishly, pointing out his hand to the rain and when he had collected enough rainwater in his palm, he brou-ght it in and Immediately poured it on Jimin, expecting him to cry out in agony but nothing happened
That brou-ght Kimora and Jimin back to their s-en-ses and they both jĀ£rked up
“Did you just pour rainwater on me?” Jimin said shockingly, feeling the coldness against his bĀ©dy
Cal stared on in shock, unable to take his eyes off Jimin
“His allergy can’t possibly be gone” he thought
They stared at each other shockingly while Kimora wondered what’s happening.

Two hours later**
The parade c@mĀ£ to an end when it’s slightly getting dark and the royals went back to the palace, the rain has stĀ©pped by now, it rained for two complete hours… heavily
The festival still continues at night with the lantern festival, maids are allowed to go for this and it’s sure that almost all of them is going for it
Kimora waited till both prince are out of the palanquin before sneaking out
She rushed back to the maids chamber and breathed heavily
“I narrowly escaped getting beheaded tonight, gosh!” She Inhaled
” Kimora ag@shi (miss Kimora)” Janis voice made her peep out
” Janis” she smiled, coming out of where she is
“Where have you been?, You weren’t with the other maids and you weren’t in your room” he said
” I’m….I..I went for fresh air at the back of the palace” she replied awkwardly
” Oh…sounds great, you’re going for the lantern festival tonight right?” He said
” Yes” she replied
” Let’s go together ok?”
” I planned to go with Tania” she replied
” Tania can go with us, let’s make it three of us” he replied
” Accepted” she smiled and he took her hand then k!$$Ā£d the back of it before leaving
“He loves pla-yful k!sses, how unserious” Kimora said, curving herl-ips before leaving for the kitchen
” Kimora!” Tania almost screamed when she entered
“How did you manage?” Lady Ambrosia asked immediately
“I…I was saved by..prince Jimin” she replied
” Oh I’m glad, I’m glad you were saved I’m so glad” Tania breathed, hvgging her ti-ghtly
” Don’t make that mistake ever again” headmaid Ambrosia said
“Yes headmaid” Kimora replied and she left
” We finished ma-king dinner alre-ady, let’s get dressed and go for the lantern festival” Tania said
” I nee-d to eat first you wicked soul” Kimora replied and Tania giggled as she got her tray of food from the table
“Janis is going with us, gosh!, I don’t even have a new dress to wear” she complained as she walked to her room with Tania beside her
“Me too, but let’s just wear what we have, I can’t wait!” Tania replied as they entered kimora’s room
Surprisingly there’s a beautiful dress on her be-d, staring at her
She dropped her tray of food and rushed to pick it
“Whoa!, It’s pretty, who could have dropped it for you, and look at this too!” Tania said, taking a box of Jewelry beside the dress
She opened it and saw silver earrings and hairpins
“This is much!” Tania said loudly
Kimora saw a note attached to the dress and re-moved it
**From princess Royalty, enjoy the lantern festival**
She smiled prettily and hvgged the clothes to herself
“I love you princess Royalty!”

King’s chamber**
Queen Sera entered slowly and bowed in front of him respectively
“It really rained in the festival like you said, good luck lives in your words” King Jung said
” Like I said?, Your majesty you left for the festival without me, I was at home althrou-gh” she replied
” What are you saying!”
” Your majesty I stayed with my seven personal maids in my room throu-ghout today, they’re witnesses” she said, calling them in
” Your majesty, her highness was really in her room throu-ghout” the eldest of them said
” Then….it can’t be” King Jung said suspiciously

Queen Rachel’s room**
“He’s not allergic to rainwater anymore?, That’s Impossible” she said after Cal told her everything
” Have I ever lied to you?, Mother it did nothing to him believe me” he replied and Rachel stood
” I nee-d to go somewhere right now” she said and left the room
Cal seethed with rage and stood
“Every step towards you seems ha-rder and ha-rder, are you really the Jimin Jung I know?” He thought

Lioness place**
” What the heck happened to your face!” Queen Rachel said shockingly when she saw her left cheek is disfigured alre-ady
“It’s the mythical being in the palace, I saw her real self today, she looks like a white fairy but her powers are out of this world, I have no idea what she is, no clue whatsoever, she gave me this mark with her blood, her blood is fire” lioness replied, walking around
” What do we do?”
“She’s prince Jimin’s guardian and it seems like she’s determined to protect him at all cost but I won’t stĀ©p, getting more powerful might help me,I nee-d more powers, I nee-d to consult demons, if a demon possesses me, I should be able to face her” lioness replied.

Palace**
” Is she not done yet?” Janis asked Tania who’s just coming out of the maids chamber
“She’ll be here in a bit” Tania replied and Janis smiled, his smile turned to bewilderment when Kimora c@mĀ£ out, dressed like a princess
“Kimora?” He said, staring unbelievably
“She looks different” Tania gushed
“Kajja (let’s go)” Kimora said when she got to them
“Is this really you?” Janis said
“Yes, just a little difference, thanks to princess Royalty” she replied with a smile.

Jimin’s room**
” Rainwater had no effect on you?” Cory said unbelievably
” Believe me, Cal we-t me with it the other time” he replied slowly
” How come?, A day before we c@mĀ£ back to Miryang, a drop of rainwater tĀ©uƧhed your arm and I know the kind of agony you pas-sed throu-gh when it burned throu-gh your skin and left a scar, you still have the scar right?” Cory said
” Yes” Jimin replied and showed him
“Did it stĀ©p overnight?, I’m speechless”
“But….to be honest, Kimora was with me” Jimin said
” The maid again?, She c@mĀ£ to the festival and c@mĀ£ into the palanquin?, That should be when I left for the palace, so you saved her again, Something is definitely suspicious about her, your headache ends when she tĀ©uƧhes your head, you got used to her in just a very short time which is so uncommon of you, don’t you think something smells fishy?” Cory said.
” I nee-d to find her” Jimin said
“She’ll be at the lantern festival” Cory replied
“Then we go there” Jimin said.

Miryang town, lantern festival**
” Hana, dul, set, net, daseot…
“What are you counting?” Tania asked Kimora who’s looking at the sky as they walked to where they’ll get their lanterns from
“The stars” she replied
“It’s Impossible to count the stars” Tania replied
” I know, I just take plea-sure in trying impossible things” she replied and Janis smiled
They got to the lanterns and picked their lanterns
They turned to go back to the spĀ©t where they’ll make a wish but surprisingly they saw Jimin and Cory
“Your highness!” Kimora said and Jimin found it ha-rd to look away
She’s normally beautiful but…her beauty tonight is different, much!
“Jimin?” Janis said and Cory had to nudge him before he snapped out of it
” Oh… hyungnin” he smiled
“The lantern festival isn’t meant for the royals” Janis said
” You’re one of the royals too, yet you’re here” Jimin replied
” How Straight” Janis said and Jimin smiled
“Kimora, just a minute with you” he said
“Huh?, With me?” She said, pointing at herself.
Jimin nodded
She made to go but Janis held her
“Jimin I’ll beg you to let me make a wish with her and hang our lanterns first before taking her…. plea-se” Janis said
Jimin looked at Kimora for a while before sighing
“Ok” he said and Janis smiled
“We’ll be back shortly” Janis said, pu-lling Kimora to where they’ll make a wish and hand the lanterns though Kimora looked back twice at Jimin
“Are you really gonna wait?” Cory said
“Watch me” Jimin replied and held his head immediately, bending slightly and scrunching up his face like someone in pains
” Oh my head….I’m in pains… this headache is splitting!, Oh my God I’m dying!” He said loudly
” If this is a drama then I don’t have a script so I’mma keep shut” Cory said
Kimora looked back swiftly after hearing Jimin’s cry
“Your highness!” She said and re-moved her hand from Janis hold then dropped her lantern, she rushed back to Jimin who’s still holding his head
She held his arm immediately with a lot of concern on her pretty face
“Your highness!, Are you ok?” She said
Jimin’s eyes went to herl-ips immediately…
” Her voice….thosel-ips”…
