She continue crying not knowing what to say
“Just stay here, I will be back okay” i said and walk into the C.E.O office
“Good afternoon sir” I said
“Afternoon” he said
“Sir I saw Clara crying, hope no problem” I asked
“Didn’t you ask her what happen” he said
“She couldn’t talk, she was just crying” I said
“And that is because she knows she is guilty” he said
“But sir, no matter what she might have done, why don’t you just consider the little help she does, she was with you throu-ghout yesterday, running Helter skelter all because of you” I said
“And what does that mean” he asked
“Sir plea-se pardon her, for the last time and remember she can reveal your identity” I said
“Oh, come off it, u keep threatening about identity, let her reveal it if she want to” he yelled
“Am sorry sir if I got you angry but plea-se pardon her” I said
“It’s okay, call her in” he said, I know my boss is a bad person but I don’t know y she so much hate this lady, I quic-kly walk out and called Clara in
“Here she is sir” I said
“Here is the office key” he said and threw the key on the floor
“Thank you sir” Clara Said, she took it from the floor and walk out
Clara’s P.O.V
Thank God I got my job back, this time am gonna make use of the opportunity, I’ll cut off the feelings I had for him and continue my life like I use to be, I got in to my Office, arrange it and sat down, I brou-ght out my phone and start pressing it
Soon it’s time to close, I stood up and went to Miguel’s office to ask if I can go home now or not, I walked in to his office but he wasn’t there, I guess he is in the room so I knocked for some seconds then the door was open, he was shi-tless ex-posing his six packs, Good how do I overcome this,
“What is it” he asked
“Ahmmm….. sorry…..ehmmm” I stammered
“Are you okay” he asked
“Am sorry sir,I just wanted to ask if I can go home now” I said
“Yeah bye” he said and walk back in, I continue staring at the door hoping to see him again, wat a S-xy figure….no Clara….you have to let go of this feelings, I quic-kly walk out, I saw Bryan waiting for me, I hopped into his car and he drove me home.
The next day, I got an email from Miguel to meet him at a shopping mall, I wonder what he is doing there at this early time of the day and not in the office, I quic-kly got dressed and board a cab to where he is
“Good morning sir” I said
He stared at me from head to toe and walk in to the mall, I quic-kly followed him, we got in and he started picking clothes, dropping them on my hands, he keep picking clothes and dropping them on my hands then later move to shoes, he started picking them and giving me, I dare not complain coz I don’t want to be fired again, soon he was throu-gh picking, he payed and the stuff were packed in bags, I took them to his car
“Ahmm you can leave now, till tomorrow” he said
“Sir pls can you give me a ride to the junction so I can trek Home coz I don’t have a dime with me now” I said, he stared at for some seconds then enter into his car, I thought I just pas-sed my boundary, I turn to leave when he parked beside me and open the front door
“Come in” he said
“Thank you sir” I said and quic-kly enter before he change his mind
“I really appreciate this sir” I said
“Silence plea-se” he said then I quic-kly shut my mouth
Soon we got to the junction
“I will be dropping here sir” I said
“Your address” he said
“Sir”. I said
“It address” he said
“Ahmm….No 9, Abbot road” I said
“Okay” he said, I can’t believe he is driving me home, wow
Soon we got to my place
“Thanks a lot sir” I said
“Don’t feel too special, it’s just a payback” he said then I smiled
“Bye” I said and hopped down, I watch him turn and leave then I went in.

It’s morning, I got dressed up, Bryan c@m£ to pick me up as usual, I got to the office
“Good morning sir… thanks for yesterday” I said
‘here is the key” he said stretching it to me, I wonder why he’s not throwing it at me this morning, I walk closer and collected it from him
“Ahmmm….guess you are good at cooking right” he asked and that surprise me
“Yes sir” I said
“You will be following me to the market today to help me get something’s” he said
“Oh…. okay sir” I said and walk out…..I can’t believe this.
I was throu-gh with my work that day, I dusted the pink go-wn I was wearing, packed my hair and lock the door, I went to Miguel’s office
“Sir I think it’s time to go home” I said dropping the key on his table
“Have you forgotten I told you you will be following me to the market today” he asked, though I remember but I just don’t want to be to forwarded
“I almost forgot….am sorry sir” I said
“It’s okay” he said then put on his suit which he was hanging on the chair, took his car key, phone then we both walk out, like I expected I saw Bryan waiting for me
“I will be following him to the market so u can go home” I said
“Oh okay” Bryan said and walk into the car but the look on his face tells me he’s not happy, I ignore it and walk to Miguel who was about entering his car, he hopped in and open the door, I got in and he started driving, I decide not to talk so as not to get into any trouble
“And if I may ask, what the relationsh!pbetween Bryan and you, I see you guys are getting close these days” he asked
“Nothing sir, he is just being kind to me” I said
“It better be” he said and that word sounds somehow to me, what does he mean saying it better be, is he thinking am d@t!ngBryan or is he jealous….oh no why would he even be jealous when he hate me this much
Soon we got to the market, we got down and started walking, I was at the front while he was at the back, I started buying different things I think he nee-ded, soon I started observing some people were staring at me, but I wasn’t paying attention to it, I was still pricing a stuff when I saw Miguel hvgging me from the back….am I dreaming…. could this be love…..why is he hvgging me…..I nee-d an answer plea-se, different questions started popping into my heart with no replies

I was shocked and couldn’t move then I heard Miguel whisper to my ear
“Am trying to safe you from embarras-sment so don’t think anything stupid okay” he said but I still don’t get it, he re-moved his suit and tied it round my w@!st
“Go to the car, I will meet you there” he said
I nodded and walk in to the car, I untie the suit and check my clothe that was when I realize am stained, Miguel walk in angrily
“Hey, wat type of a woman are you huh, a woman that doesn’t even know her d@t£, huh, do you know how I got embarras-sed by you today, I regret taking you out….you just don’t worth It” he said and started driving, those words t©uçhed me and make tears formed in my eye, I quic-kly Clean them and pretend like I was okay
“Am sorry sir” I said
“Keep those words to yourself plea-se” he said angrily
Soon we got to my place, I got down with his suit in my hand, I forgot am still with it
“Have this” he said stretching some amount of money to me
“Thank you sir but am not collecting it” I said
“Why…. Don’t Tell me you are rejecting a offer From me” he said
“I dare not sir, am okay” I said
“Okay” he said and whined up his glas-s and drove off, I walked in, change my clothe, bath then wash his suit.
The next day I got to his office with the suit
“Good morning sir” I said
“Take the key on the table am busy” he said while typing
“Here is your clothe sir” I said
“Drop it on the couch” he said
“Okay sir” I said and drop the clothe on the chair, took the office key
“And thx for yesterday sir, I really appreciate” I said
“Next time you should know when you are suppose to be on and st©p embarras-sing yourself” he said
“I’ll sir” I said then walk out, wait is Miguel trying to be good to me….does he really care about him that much or probably he did that so I won’t embarras-s him
I went to my office and sat down but that reminds me, am not sure if he has eaten this morning, I nee-d to go ask him….no Clara, you don’t nee-d to….. okay it’s just a payback…..no he won’t even acknowledge it…. c’mmon he is your boss, you won’t let him die right….I keep saying this to myself and later stood up and walk to his office
“Ahmmm sir, I wanted to ask if you’ve eaten” I said
“And y are so concerned about that” he said
“Just that, I don’t want you to fall sick again and also I just discovered a new eatery along this road so I don’t know if you will like to have a taste of it” I said
“So I now look like a glutton to you right or a sickler that can fall sick anytime huh” he said
“Am sorry sir but I don’t mean it that way, am sorry if I got you angry” I said
“Get out plea-se” he said and I walk out, I really fv¢k up, I should have listen to my heart and not my head…I said to myself as I walk back to my office.
Later in the evening, I was done for the day, I arrange my things, lock the door and went to Miguel’s office to drop the key, I got in and I saw him resting his head on his desk, probably slee-ping, I drop the key on his table and was about walking out when I heard him talk
“Can you plea-se get me some drugs bfr leaving” he said shivering
“Oh….are you cold” I asked
“Yeah, check my wallet on the table, take some money and get me drugs” he said
“Okay sir, I quic-kly check his wallet, took the money and rush to a nearby chemist, bought some drugs and rush back to his office
“Here it is sir, but have you eaten” I asked
“No” he said
“Then don’t take the drug, let me get you something to eat” is said and rushed out, I ordered for rice and table water in the eatery and ran back to the office
“Try and eat this then you can take your drug” I said
“Just give me the drugs, am not eating” he said
“But sir….you nee-d to eat first” I said
“Clara it’s my life okay” he said
“Okay” I said and gave him the drug with the table water I bought, he collected it and used them
“Sir no think you should go home so you can rest” I said
“I will just use my room here” he said and stood up to leave but before he could take a step, he fell down, I quic-kly gr-ab him so he won’t hit his head on the floor, I rushed out to Bryan’s office
“Bryan…..The C.E.O” I said crying
“What happen” he asked
“Just come with me” i said, he stood up and we both rush back to Miguel’s office where he was lying helplessly on the floor, Miguel rush to where his is and raised him up, we both manage to lift him to where his car is and drove him to the hospital, the doctors quic-kly attend to him while we wait at the reception, my mind wasn’t at rest, I hope it’s not because of the drug he use, I wonder why he won’t eat at time, few minutes later the doctor walk to us
“Can I see you in my office plea-se” the doctor said
“Okay” Bryan said and we both followed him to his office, we sat down
“Ahmmm…..with the situation of things right now, Miguel nee-ds blood, I don’t know if you know any of his family who can donate” the doctor said
“Actually doctor, I don’t know any of his family” Bryan said
“But it’s urgent…..” The doctor said
“Ahmmm doctor, I am 0+ so i can donate for any b©dy, Allow me to donate my blood” I said
“What are you serious at all” Bryan said to me
“Yeah…… doctor plea-se can we start the donation now” I asked
“Of course but we nee-d some money for deposit also” doctor said
“You know that’s not a problem doctor” Bryan said
“Okay let go miss” the doctor said then I followed him…..am doing all this because I can’t stand to loose Miguel, am re-ady to go extra miles all because of him, he means everything to me.
Miguel’s P.O.V
I woke up and found myself lying on a sick be-d, how do I even get here
“Hope you are getting better now” the doctor said
“Yeah” I said more like a whisper
“All thanks to your girlfriend” he said
“My girlfriend….who” I asked
“Clara of course” he said
“Oh…..and where is she” I asked
“She is still resting” he said
“What…. resting when I am here huh” I said
“Infact she still nee-d more rest” he said
“Why” I asked
“She saved you…..she donated her blood for you” doctor said
“What……you mean…..I now have Clara’s blood in me” I asked
“You should be grateful to her, she saved your life” he said and walk out
Wtf…..why should it be Clara’s blood Among all other blood in this whole universe…. gosh
