Kai was speechless as he look at Nina’s innocent face. She wasn’t joking.
“Kai…say something…I don’t want to.go back to my world…I’ll stay if you tell me to, Kai will you accept my heart?”
“Nina….” He called and took.a de-ep breath. “You’re engaged to someone else….you can’t love me” he said
“No…..Alex…I was forced….I never loved Alex….am with him because of my parents but now am with you…..”
“Am sorry Nina….I can’t accept your love neither can I give you the answer you want” he said
“But…but you once said if I was here earlier you won’t have fall in love with Victoria” i cried
“Nina…please stop….I only said if and you wasn’t here…..” He yelled “please….don’t cry…I’ll take you back to your world……”
“No…i don’t want to.go back i hate it there…..Kai let me stay with you…i promise to make you love me” i cried.
“Enough of this rubbish Nina,
what about the promise you made to make Victoria min?” He asked.
“I…..am sorry Kai….but” he stood up.
“I don’t want to hear this again” Kai said and left.
The shimmer and I were alone in the room. She watched me cry.
“I can help you” she said.
“Why would i need your help?” I asked
“Because you don’t have a choice” she said
“What should I do then?” I asked sniffing my nose.
“Get pregnant” she said and I choked and began to cough.
“W….whhh.what??”
“If you can get pregnant then you won’t leave this world…but mind you….the celestial tunnel will be opened soon…..it is the tunnel that will return you to.your world and wipe tge memories you have on your way….it will return you back I time” she said
I was so embarra-ssed to look at Kai after he rejected my confession.
“Baron?” I called and he ran to me.
“I was wondering if you can accompany me to the river side….I want to get some fresh air” I asked and he nodded and smiled.
Baron and I walked side by side by the river.
“It’s beautiful and pure” i said.
“Yes…just like you….it’s beautiful,pure and calm” he added and i smile.
“Baron…you know Kai well…..I want to.ask you something” I said
“Go.on”
“What kind of a woman does Kai like?” I asked and he answered immediately
“Women like Victoria”
“Do you want to.die??!!!” I yelled angrily knowing he was teasing me.
“No…no….sorry hahaha…..” He laughed and i joined him.
Kai say from afar that Nina was laughing whole heatedly with Baron. He frown.
“I bet they look good together” the shimmer said to Kai and his eyes darken.
“Say that one more time and I’ll……”
“Baron and Nina looks good together” she boldly said and Kai used his sword to strike her but she disappeared. “What Kai?, If you can’t love her at least let someone else do…..she confessed to you but you rejected it and say you’re in love with Victoria…

“I rejected her but she’s still my wife!” Kai yell and walk down to us.
. I was quite surprised to see him coming. He looked unhappy.
“Am sorry I have to borrow Baron for a while…you can have him” I quickly said and turned away from him. I know I have to be far from him..
“What’s the meaning of this?” Kai asked Baron after seeing Nina was gone.
“Nothing…I was just accompanying her” Baron said
“Don’t you know it’s a crime to see a married woman with another man alone?” Kai asked
“Am sorry it won’t happen again” Baron said
“Better!”
Kai walked into the yard and saw Nina with Han. He was teaching her how to use the sword. He hold her hands helping her move her sword and Nina smiled.
Kai was so angry as he walked to them.
“Ehmmmm…..” He cleared his throat and Han bowed to him.
“If you need Han you can have him….am done with my training today” i said
“Han you can go…..I’ll train my wife from today” Kai said
“No….!” I said still not able to hold his gaze. “I prefer Han”
“Are you still standing there!!!” Kai yelled and Han ran off.
I dropped the sword ob the ground about to leave and he grab my hands.
“I don’t want to learn” i said
“Nina….calm down” he help my shoulders. “It’s just a training”
I got to admit he was really a good teach. I learnt so many things in a bimp.
Tomorrow we will be going back to the palace and i plan on exposing Victoria little by little……………………..

We traveled back to the palace.
“Baron….were at we?” I stick my head out of the carriage and asked Baron.
Baron look at Kai who was already giving him a dagger look.
“Princess we are in mount Asi…. The Asi tribe village are few miles away” he said and walked away before I could ask another question.
“Han…..you’re from this part right?” I asked but he walked away. I look up at Kai….his face was dark. What’s going on?.
“Nina would you like to see the Asi tribe?” Kai asked and I ignored him and entered the carriage. Kai felt like killing someone. He glared at Han and Baron again.
“Princess….the Asi tribe is a beautiful place….you should go see it!” Eva said.
“Excuse me but what’s wrong with all of you?, What’s with the princess thing?” I asked.
“Well prince Kai….he told us to stop addressing you by your name!” Ella said.
“What!!!!” I yelled. “Stop the carriage!” I yelled.
The carriage stopped and I walk out angrily.
“Kai… seriously what’s your problem!!!” I yelled. He has a surprise look on his face as he climb down his horse.
“What’s wrong?” He asked calmly
“You are!!!, Since you don’t want me to interfere in your life then Al least stay out of mine!!” I yelled again
“Nina….where is this coming from?” He asked looking furious.
“Stop telling people how they’ll address me….and stop…….” Kai suddenly drag my wa-istand turned my body with his. I turned to look and saw an arrow on the ground. I shivered.
“We are under attack!!!!” Bran yelled. Kai push me into the carriage.
“No mater what happens don’t come out!” He yelled and lock the door.
Eva, Ella and I hug-ged each other in fear. We could hear splash of sword and people screaming. Suddenly our carriage began to move…….
“Protect the princess…..forget about me!” Kai yelled
I opened the carriage door and jump out with Eva and Ella as the carriage rolled off into a cliff. We hide under a bush.
Kai ran towards the carriage and saw it somersaulting down the cliff.
“No……no….Nina…..Nina…..” He yelled.
I wanted to play a little prank with him and I keep quiet. And told Eva and Ella not to answer.
Kai eyes turned blue as he’s wind began to blow….his eyes shine brightly and so does his body.
“No!” Baron yelled as he tried to stop Kai but Kai strike him with a lightning. Seeing that I was shocked.
Kai tap the burglers with lightning. Ending everyone. I ran out of the Bush.
“Kai….Kai stop….am here….am okay!” I yelled. I looked at Baron….
“N…no…n..no…ni….Nia.. d…don’t….go….n…near him” he force himself to say but Kai was killing people. It was my fault and i have to stop him.
The more I walk closer to him the greater the winds become.
“Kai…..Kai am fine……” I yelled. I forced my steps and grab his hands “Kai…it’s me it’s Nina……” I said and he turned his gaze at me…..his eyes were so white and scary. I took his hands and place it on my cheeks “it’s me…..am fine…..”
“V…. Victoria?” He said and pa-ssed out. I hold his heavy body as it crash on me.
We camp there and took a test. There were so many dead bodies. It was so scary and irritating.
“Vi… Victoria?” Kai’s word repeated in my head….even in his worse state he still calls her name?. I wanted to crush the so call Victoria immediately….I felt so jealous and inferior.
“Ehmmm” Kai gro-an and wake up.
“Kai….Kai you’re awake” Baron yelled and Kai sit up.
“My head hurts” he murmured under his breath. “Nina?” He asked immediately.
“She’s fine…she’s here” Baron pointed at me. Kai stood up and sat close to.me as he rest his head on my shoulders.
Baron amd the others quickly left the room tent….. leaving me and Kai.
“What are you doing?” I asked
“I want to recharge myself……can I?” He asked staring at my neck.
“Yes……go on” i said and he looked surprised. My shoulders hurt from the jump I took off the carriage but it was nothing compared to the pains in my heart. I wanted a physical pains to stop my heart from being like this…maybe Kai’s bite would help……
He kis-sed the spot he was going to bite…..he kis-sed and su-ck harder.
“Kai…..” I felt my eyes Moisturize. I was crying. Kai stopped and look at me. I turned my eyes from his and he hold my jaw and bring them back.
“Did I hurt you?” He asked looking at the place he have just kis-sed and i shook my head.
“You didn’t hurt my neck….you…you hurt my heart” I cried “how could you mistook me for her…..can’t you just give me a little space…don’t I mean anything to you….am I just your prey that you could feed on!” I cried. “Just bite me….forget about me”
Kai was quiet….he look de-ep at me.
“Nina…..”
“Victoria is not who you think she is….she’s evil….she was working with that demon Zed….she sent him” i said and Kai eyes darkened….
“I warned you before not to say lies about Victoria…it will only make me hate you more” he yelled.
“Kai open your eyes……” I yelled but he grab my neck.
“Don’t you dare!!!!!” He yelled. He was back to his normal self….the Kai i once knew. He threw me and I hit my back on the tent wood. I scream in pains. “If there is anyone who is a witch it is you!” He yelled again and landed a slap on my cheeks and bite my shoulders. I cried and scream.
He bite me harder…….I called barons name….. everyone’s name but no dares to come help me.
I beg him to stop but he was too rou-gh.
The next day when I opened my eyes I was already at the palace……………….TBC
