I couldn’t believe Kai…I began to hate him so much. I brou-ght out the bottle and drank the liquid. I waited and waited but nothing was happening.
I ran to the shimmer.
“Hahahah…….you think that will work?, It was just a trick…the liquid in that bottle is just a rose water…..I can’t believe you really drank it” she laughed
“This is not funny!!!” I yelled
“Oh yes it is!”
“Aargh why are you so annoying!!!!” I yelled and walked out.
Kaleb saw Nina coming. He waved at her but she walk pas-shim like he was invisible.
I walked into the guarden. I felt a sudden pain in my abdomen.
“Oh no….. don’t tell me it’s coming!” I cried “ouch!!”
“Nina are you okay?!” Kaleb hold me.
“Yes…yes am fine…it’s just a normal pain” I said.
“Let’s go to the physician” he said and carried me from the ground before I could decline.
“Kaleb I told you I was fine!” I said looking embarra-ssed.
“Am sorry…I was just worried about you” he said and hold my hands.
“Kaleb….” I removed my hands from his.
“I know….am.sorry…..” he said. Kaleb say the scar on her neck. His cold hands touch my neck and I jerk back. “Nina…did he hurt you?”
“Kaleb…it doesn’t matter anymore…..”
“No Nina tell me what happened” he insist.
“I told him it was Victoria who was behind all my vicious attack and he freaked out” I laugh trying not to cry remembering how he hurt me.
Kaleb was silent…he avoid my gaze. “You knew didn’t you?” I said
“Nina…..you have to calm.down” he said.
“Calm down while you knew all this time!” I yelled.
“Nina… Victoria is not who you can handle…am still working on it…soon you’ll go back to your world and all these will be over” he said.
“I can’t do this anymore…I hate it here…I hate it over there in my world….I..I hate my self!!!” I burst in tears…..fuc-k menstruation.
“Am sorry Nina” he apologized and hug-ged me.
“It was all your fault….if only you have been Kai….why is it so ha-rd to get what I wish for……..” I cried.
“It’s okay Nina…it’s alright…soon it’ll all be cover soon….I promise” he added.
Kai was alone at the ark tree when Victoria came to join him.
“You should go…i don’t want anyone seeing us together” he said and too a sip from his jar.
“Why?, Anyone you mean Nina right?” She said and Kai didn’t give her any attention….He stood up about to go but she said.
“You should see the way she was clinging unto Baron when you were away or was it how I saw her kis-sing Baron?”
Kai froze…..”what did you say?”
“Nina is a slot……” She said and kai smiled. He began to laugh.
“You expect me to believe you?” He asked, “you believed I was dead and maltreated Nina…..now and back you want to.ruin her name in front of me…?,……….now listen to me Victoria……am not slapping the hell.out of you because I once loved you…..”
“Once loved me?, Kai…you still love me” she hold his hands.
“Love you?, I was only sick back then….you think I don’t know…..you and your black magic!” Kai yelled.
“Ka…..Kai….h..how did you know??!!” Victoria shivered
Kai frown “so..it’s true?,……you just told me Victoria…….Nina was right all along and I was so blind to see it……” Kai said.
Kai searched for Nina and was told she was at the physician…..he ran to her only to open the door and find her hugging Kaleb.
Kai barge into the room.
“What are you doing here!!!” He yelled at Kaleb.
“What do you think?, Am taking care of your wife for you” he said
“Go away already” Kai said.
“Why?, So you can hurt her again?, I warned you didn’t I?” Kaleb said. Kai look at me but I lower my head.
“Nina…give me a chance to explain…..am…am sorry” he said.
“Kaleb…if he’s not leave… please come carry me so I can leave the room for him” I said.
“Nina…… please…..don’t trust Kaleb…he knew all this while who Victoria really is but he hid it from me.
“At least he’s better then you” I said “I wish you really died that time….I wished I searched for you and never find you…..I wish….I wish I never met you…..Kai you’re so horrible… you’re a fraud….if only I knew how devilish you are….then if never had fall.for.you…..i blame my useless heart….but don’t worry I’ll be gone from your sight soon…you can have Victoria to yourself!” I said..

I saw the hurt in his eyes…but I don’t care I wanted to hurt him even more…..
“Go away Kai!” I said.
“No…am.not leaving you” he said.
“Fine than…I’ll leave you” I said “Kaleb please a-ssist me”
“Don’t you dare touch her!” Kai yelled at Kaleb.
“Or what Kai….your stupidity is getting out of hand” Kaleb said and hold my arms but Kai grab his hands.
“I said don’t touch her” he said and push kaleb hands away from my arm.
“Enough you two please!” I yelled.
“Nina….tell him to leave….I have something to say to you please” Kai said.
“Kaleb you can leave…..I still have something to say to him…..I’ll be fine” i said
“If he hurts you….I’ll be by the door….just call on me” Kaleb said and left.
It was only the two of us in the room.
“I’ll go first… ” I said. “I want to take back what i once said to you about loving you….and I want to take back what I said about staying if you ask me too…… I was blinded that time…..I thought you’ve change but you’re still the same Kai I meant last month” i said and his eyes were red. His hands gently caress his chest, as if in pains.
“Ni…Nina…stop….” He said and cough out blood. I was shocked and stood up from bed.
“Kai are you okay?” I asked. He pa-ssed out.
“Kaleb……. Kaleb…..!!!” I yelled and he ran in.
Kai was still asleep when the shimmer ran into the room. Kai was holding my hands…even when he was asleep.
“Nina…… Nina……the tunnel is opened…..the celestial tunnel is opened….!!!” She yelled.
“W..what?, Why?” I asked….. I can’t just leave….Kai wasn’t awake yet……I wanted to reconcile with him before leaving…..even though I know I couldn’t stay here any longer.
I wanted to write down but he won’t understand.
I simply remove the necklace from my neck and wore it on him.
“Am sorry I wasn’t enough for you Kai…..I hope you fine love again” i said.
I looked at Kaleb “thank you…. please help me tell him not to blame himself and that I forgive him but promise me one thing……your bring Victoria to justice” I said and he nodded.

The tunnel was shinning like light. I looked back and started crying.

Kai woke up and rub his eyes.
“Where is Nina?” Was the first thing he asked. Everyone stood looking dumb.
Only Kaleb got the courage to say “she’s gone!”
“Hahahaha…stop the prank Kaleb…it’s not funny…..Nina……Nina…..!!!” Kai called and started searching for Nina….. “Nina……Nina….. please stop hiding….let me apologise…Nina…stop!!!”
“Kai…she’s gone back to her world…..” Kaleb said
“No…stop lying!!!!” Kai yelled.
“The celestial tunnel opened when you were asleep…she had to leave….she told me to take care of you…..”

“I hurt her…..I return her love with pains……i didn’t have the courage to love her…….this was what I was afraid of…… losing her….I wanted her to be happy I wanted to see her smile before she returns but…..I still made her cry……” Kai cried.
