I woke up the next morning as a hot breath keep hitting my face. I frown and rubbed my eyes. I saw the most beautiful creature in my world. Kai….. His face was so close to mine. I was using one of his hands as a pillow and the other wrapped round my waist.
I took the opportunity to admire his face. It was like a piece of art, so shaped and sharp.
I did made it clear to him yesterday not to come near me….why was he here?. Or was he worried that I’ll have a bed dream again?, I pray he forgive my behavior yesterday.
Kai brow frown and I quickly shut my eyes pretending to be asleep.
He was awake now. He caressed my cheeks and press a kis-s on my forehead, I could hear the sound of my heart beating like crazy. He put his forehead to mine and his hot morning breath hit my face even more.
‘was he going to kis-s me?’ I felt a light peck on my li-ps before he lye down again. With the way my heart was beating am sure he’ll soon noticed am awake…… instead of been caught I opened my eyes, pretending to just be awake.
My eyes met his green eyes ‘God those eyes are my weak point!!!’
“Nina… you’re up….d…did I disturb you?” He asked.
‘the way he called Nina just now with his morning voice I wanted to hear it over and over and……..’
i snap back to reality and stood up from his hands ‘i wish I could lye with him like this all day long…….oh Nina….what’s wrong with you……get back to your senses!’ I scold myself.
“It’s okay if you are still angry at……”
“Am sorry!” I cut in and he looked surprised.
“What?!” He asked to be sure of what he just heard.
“Am sorry….i shouldn’t have behaved like that yesterday…. ”
“No Nina….what you is true…it’s all my fault!” He said and i could only nod.
We became quiet again….I wanted to ask him about the kis-s earlier but he said “I’ll be leaving tomorrow!” My eyes wide I shock
“What?, Where?” I asked
“There is a war in Vansham again!” He answered plainly.
“Most you go…..” ‘am scared….I’ll feel insecure if you go…..Kai….don’t leave me alone’ i wanted to add but I didn’t know what was holding me back.
“Yes Nina…..” He said.
“Ok!” I answered.
“I’ll go get ready my men….I’ll see you before I leave tomorrow” he said.
Kai went to the underground dungeon but couldn’t find Zed. He went to look for Kaleb and found him.
“We’re is he?” He asked angrily
“Am sorry Kai….last night…i was too angry…I lose control and killed him before he could say anything!” Kaleb lied.
“What!!!, How could you…..We have to know who was trying to hurt Nina….!!” Kai yelled…his eyes were changing slowly “were is his body!!!”
“I burnt it…” Kaleb was calm which made Kai suspicious.
“What!!!, Kaleb I swear if you’re hiding something from me……”
“Kai…. remember Nina is precious to me too….I can never do anything to hurt her!” Kaleb said. Thunder began to rumble.
I was in my room when the beautiful morning sky suddenly turned black with lightning. Kai was not in a good mood.
A maid brou-ght in a meal for me. “I’ll have breakfast with the Queen.
I got dressed with Eva’s help and went to the Queen.
I met Victoria there with her…..when the Queen saw me she ran and quickly hug me.
“Oh…baby thanks the Gods you’re safe….I was so worried about you…..come here” she hug-ged me tight.
“Nina…..!” Victoria said and hug-ged me.
We are in silence as the heavy rain began to drop with heavy thunder and lightning.
“What’s wrong with Kai Nina?” Victoria asked i smiled at her and she frown in disgust.
“I don’t know…he was happy this morning!” I said and Kaleb came to join us. He hug-ged Victoria to kis-sed her from behind.
“Your majesty!” He greeted the Queen
“We’re is Kai… isn’t he joining us?” She asked.
“As you can see mom…he’s not in a good mood!” Kaleb sat close to Victoria.
“Were is he?” I asked.
“Nina you cant go…..”
“Just tell me!” I suddenly yelled and Kaleb looked shock. ” Am sorry!” I quickly apologise.
“Hahaha.. .it’s okay..I mean when you love someone you’ll always be worried about them…..I can see you’re so caring towards Kai…” The Queen said and I smiled
“Yes…am surprised too Kai and I are working things out…..I pray he comes to love me!” I said and Victoria locked gaze with me. The tension was too much. Now I know I really hated this bit-ch .
“Kai’s in the guarden” Kaleb said and I broke the gaze.
“I’ll go meet Kai…..i hate seeing dirt in my eyes” I glared at Victoria and turned around. The Queen covered her mouth from laughing.
“What!!!, How dare you!!!” I heard her yell but I didn’t care.
I sighted Kai inside the rain. If only this world has an umbrella. I ran into the rain to Kai.
“Kai……!!” I called and he turned around
“Nina you shouldn’t be here!” He yelled
“You neither…..why are you angry again?” I asked.
“Just go Nina!” He said.
“No…..!” I said….
“I SAID LEAVE!!!” He yelled as all his eyes turned white, the lightning increase and so did the rain.
Kai said the fear in her eyes. Nina has never seen this side of him….there are lots of things she doesn’t know about him. Seeing her innocent frightened face Kai soften and hug-ged her. Immediately there bodies met he began to calm down…..the cloud became clear and the rain began to drizzle.
“Nina…..” Kai release her but she still heard the same face…”am sorry I scared you…..let’s go..you’ll catch a cold” he said……………………

I couldn’t recover from what I just saw. I kept on shaking…i was so cold, until I felt Kai’s hand wrap around my back as his body press against mine.
“Am sorry Nina….I didn’t mean to scare you” he whispered again and turned me over. I was now facing him but I didn’t dare look at him. “Nina….Nina look at me” he plead. I just buried my head on his chest. His hands hold my chin and left it up. I quickly close my eyes.
Kai felt disappointed and sour. What does he have to do to make her look at him?.
“Nina…..” He whispered but this time lower than before. He press a kis-s on my neck and I shivered. “It’s okay….i won’t bite you….” He press another kis-s on my shoulders.

His hands moved under my shirt and his bare hands hold my waist. He moved the kis-s to my chest.. “look at me Nina…..” He begged again but it seems like she didn’t hear him. Kai slide his hands to my back rubbing it up and down. kis-s li-ps moved to my jaw and to my cheeks.
His hot breath began to hit my face.
“Nina…. please…..” His breath was heavy….he press his li-ps against mine….his li-ps was so hot. He kis-sed me harder as he used his tongue to force my mouth to open. His tongue slide into my mouth. I didn’t know when I started responding to his kis-s and even mo-aning, all I know is that I was drown to him. He slowly climb on top of me but used his elbow as support so that he won’t put all his weight on me. My legs entangled his waist.
I was surprised the way my body moves on its own before my mind does.
Alex and i has done lot of romance, I’ve even slept with him twice. He was the one who took my vi-rginity away but I’ve never felt like this with him the way I feel for Kai…….
I suddenly remembered Alex. I removed my hands from Kai’s neck and broke the kis-s.
“Kai I can’t!” I said. He looked surprised.
“Why?, Is it because of Victoria?, I told you I’ll have nothing to do with her until you leave” he said.
“No…it’s not because of Victoria…..am engaged to someone in my world” I said and he get off me.
“You don’t belong to me Nina and i don’t belong to you…it’s crystal clear but we do need each other” he said and smiled. He removed a necklace from his neck. He was always wearing that, why is he taking them off?.
“A wizard gave me this necklace when I lost control of my powers and killed so many innocent people….since then I didn’t lose control again……I want you to have it!” He said
“No…I..I can’t take it….what if you lose control again?” I asked
“You’re here…i won’t lose control and I have you with me……” He put the necklace on my neck and kis-sed my neck.
The necklace was really beautiful…..it was blue and green….like Kai eye color.
“I’ll cherish it forever” i smiled. “Thank you!”
“Rest now……” He stood up and left the room unknown to me that will be the last time I’ll see Kai again……………..TBC
