Alex glared at his men.
“You can’t find one girl….just one girl!!!” He yelled.
“Sir…. we’ve searched everywhere…it’s like she doesn’t exist…..”
“What??…., Then why are you back?, I told you if you can’t find her you should keep searching” he yelled.
“Sir…..it….miss Kate…she said she have a clue where Nina might be….but she’s refusing to yell us”
“Kate?…., Why did you not tell me on time?”
Kate was very happy. Earlier Alex called that he wanted to see her in his office.
She knock on the office door.
“Come in” Alex voice sounded from inside.
Kate what in with a smile on her face.
Alex face was calm with a hint of worry. He look weak and exhausted.
“Take a seat” he gestured her and she sat down.
“You called for me sir” she used her office language.
“Kate….I need your help!” He said calmly
“Alex…if this is about Nina….I already told you…..”
“I’ll do anything you want….just…just tell me where she is!” He cut in. He was like about to break down.
“Well…..if I ask you to marry me instead will you?” She yelled.
Alex was speechless. Silence cover the office.
“Kate…you know I can’t marry you….I… I love Nina…even though she don’t love me….I love her” he said.
“Why can’t it be me?, Alex….I can love you….more than Nina!” She cried.
“Kate…just tell me where she is… please!”
“Even if I tell you…you won’t be able to find her”
“Even if she’s dead….I can bring her back!”
“Well…she’s trapped in a novel…..I know it sounds crazy but….” She wipe her tears. “Here….read”
I went to look for Victoria. When she saw me she put on a smile. Wow….she was a good actress.
“Nina….how did it go?” She asked
“It went terrible….are you sure he likes Lily flowers….?” I asked
“Of course he does….am sorry maybe he doesn’t like them anymore” she said and hug-ged me.
“Do you have another advise for me to use?” I asked.
Victoria was happy, he plans where going well….this fragile girl is falling into her palms………….

When I got back to my room Moo and Eva were not happy.
“What’s with the face?” I asked.
“That Victoria….how could she be deceiving you all this while” Moo said
“She’s unbelievable!” Eva added.
“Forget about her….I need you help…I want to sneak out of the palace!” I said and their eyes almost pop out of their eyes.
“What?, Why?, Are you planning to run away?” Moo yelled.
“Shhh….. Moo…I just want to do something outside the castle. You once ask me why I needed so much money right?” I asked and he frown. I don’t really know how they use their money coins in this world.
“My pri….i mean Nina….instead of going out of the palace why don’t you stay and find a way to settle with Prince Kai.”
“Eva….let’s go outside the palace first…then you’ll know”. Then I remembered Han “you can go discuss it with Han Moo….I still need his help”
I wore Eva’s clothes, they were small but made me look normal.
We successfully left the palace with Han’s help. He sure was reliable.
“Han i need you to get me men that can build a house in few days…..Moo…you go get food….and Eva…I need you to buy as much children clothes as possible….both for boys and girls. Different size” i instructed. They kept on looking at me with confused eyes. “Just do as I say…..buy everything I sent you and meet me here”.
Everything I asked for were provided and was carried in a carriage. They rode on horses but I just decided to walk….I don’t want to embarras-smyself since I don’t know how to ride one.
About 50men followed behind.
Moo kept on asking were we where going but I never answered him.
We finally arrived at the old house. There were children everywhere.
“Hey….it’s Nina!!” The blond girl yelled and they all ran to me.
“Oh hi…..” I said. Before they could get close to me, Han drew out his sword and stopped them. I could see the fear in there eyes.
“Han!!!” I yelled
“Stay away from them princess….some of them may be infected by plague…..and…..”
“Back off…..!!!” I yelled and push him out of the way. “Am sorry…..he’s just doing his job” i said to the children. “Come give me a hug!”
“So….you want to build the house for the kids….?, Why?” One of the men asked.
“Just do as you are told and if you can finish in three days I’ll double your pay” i said and his eyes lite.
“Sure…sure…..go men…let’s get working!”
Eva had to go back to the market to buy herbs and water.
We bath the younger kids and gave them new clothes.
“Thank you…..I don’t know why you’re doing this but the gods has sent you to use….thank you” the eldest boy said. I smiled as he wipe the corner of his eyes.
“What’s your name?” I asked.
“I….we….don’t have names…..” He stammered. It hurts me so much to see him crying.
“Then how about I name you?” I asked and his eyes wide open.
“You….you want to name is?…., Yes….yes please” he said smiling.
“There are so many of you…..okay…..kids….come together…the boys on my left…the girls on my right!” I yelled ans they follow suit.
I looked at the eldest boy…..he had a calm face but a fighting spirit..just like “Alex….your name will be called Alexander….short form Alex” I said and he jubilate.
“I like it…i love it…. Alexander…..Alex….”
To the blond girl….she reminds me of my cute Barbie toy “I’ll call you Ella”
“Hela?” She asked trying to be sure
I giggled “no….Ella!”
It went on and no and on. Eva gave them herbs medicine, I’d have love to help her but I don’t know how the herbs work…so I’ll just play with the kids.
“Princess…..we have to head back now….it’s getting late” Han said.
“It’s Nina!” I glare at him, “I can’t go back today…I have to keep an eye on them…”
“Nina you can’t stay outside the palace for long…if the Queen finds out…she won’t be pleased!” Eva added
“Yes…Nina go back…..I’ll stay with them….you can come back tomorrow” Moo said and I finally agreed.
Luckily I’ve gotten to my room before we heard a knock on my door.
I look at Han….he understood and quickly hide inside my bathroom.
“Who is it?” Eva asked.
“It is the crown princess” it was Victoria’s maid voice.
“Oh….. please hold on…the princess just had her shower….let me put her clothe on her” Eva lied. I quickly push the clothes over my head and shift then under the bed. Hurriedly I put on the so call royal gown.
Eva went to open the door.
“Sorry….did I keep you waiting?” I asked her and she smiled brightly like a pure actress.
“No…..The Queen asked me to escorts, you down….we are having a family dinner” she said
“Really?…., Will…, Will Kai be there?” I asked pretending to be naive.
“Haha don’t worry….he won’t dare touch you or cause any trouble there….let’s go!” She said
“Ok…..!”.
The table was so long…..Kai sat at the end of the table giving his family so much space. He wasn’t in a good mood I could tell, but why can’t I feel anything in my heart?, Oh I remember…he said it doesn’t always happen.
I walk over to Kai and sat close to him. He didn’t even move a limb….it was like I was invisible to him.
“Nina…..I told you…. before anything you’ll have to greet the king and the queen, the crown princess too!” Victoria said.
“Oh let her be….she run to her husband…how sweet” the Queen said. I stood up and bow from afar.
“Greetings to the king, the queen and the crown prince….. ” I bowed.
The king smiled “it’s okay just focus on him” he pointed at Kai and I nodded.
They started eating. Looking at the food in front of me I almost throw up. I was okay with juat eating fruits Moo normal bring for me….I can’t eat this.
I look up to Kai. He was eating slowly, quietly. I look over at the other end of the table everyone was focused on their food. It was so boring. I know I have to get Kai’s forgiveness.
“Kai?” I whispered but he didn’t answer. I think I was invisible to him. “Kai?…..Kai…..Kai….Kai…..Kai…..Kai…..Kai……”
“Nina!” He glared at me.
“Am sorry!” I whispered
“I don’t need your sorry!” He fired back. His voice was extra de-ep and sharp.
“If we keep avoiding each other….it won’t be good for us…..you want me gone out of your sight and i badly want to leave…..that can only work if we work together……am sorry…. please!” I said. His eyes gaze at me…. Now I can tell you this my fellow readers…..Kai is more than your imagination….his eyes were grey like light grey….his brown was full and he had long eye lashes. His li-ps were tin…very small…quite tempting to ki-ss. His Adams apple were a killer. When it moved up and down when he swallows….it looks he’ll se-xy.
“Fine…let’s work together to get out of this mess…but that doesn’t mean I’ve Forgive you…..”
“It’s fine by me…..I don’t like you either….I hate you so much I want to pluck my eyes out and keep them in my pocket so i don’t see your face again…..” I said and he gave me a cold look.
Then a young girl in white walked into the dinning room……she look weird….more like crazy…………..TBC
