I was feeling uncomfortable inside the big room. It was so empty.
I went to Eva’s room. She was already sleeping.
I was so bored. Maybe I should just look around. As I turned to leave Eva jerk up from bed. “Yo….. highness” she said with her sleeping voice.
“Sorry…..i woke you!” I said
“No….no….am sorry I didn’t…..I mean….”
“It’s okay Eva….you can go back to sleep….I’ll just take a walk” i said.
“No….no…let me go with you….it’s my duty” she stood up.
“It’s fine….” I said.
“No your highness….it’s my job!” She pleaded.
It was beautiful inside the place.
“What’s this room?” I ask
“It’s the training chamber… would you like to go in?” She asked and i nodded.
When we entered the big room Kai was lying there. Eva shivered and walked back. She look at me with apologetic eyes. I nodded gesturing her it’s fine.
“Here’s my run away husband!” I said and he opened his eyes. It was red. He look cute…like a sad angel.
“Can’t you just leave me alone” he whispered. His voice was hoarse.
“Are you thirsty?” I asked and he frown his brown.
“Go away!” He said and lye back on the floor.
“It’s cold….”
“They don’t call me ice prince for no reason!” He said. “Now go away!”
“You’re mean!” I pouted.
…” He didn’t say anything.
“Kai?” I called. “Are you sleeping already?”
“Go!” He said again.
“Am surprise at this too….I wish it’s was a dream but it’s not….I my world I was engaged…his name is Alex….full name Alexander….”
“Why are you telling me this?” He said finally opening his eyes and sit up.
“I don’t want to keep any secret from you….even though we are married by words….both of hearts belong to someone else….I won’t stop you from seeing your lover….you can see her all you want…”
“You sound foolish!” He said and brou-ght out a jar. He pour the liquid on his mouth. I watched him. My chest felt heavy….sad….I don’t know why. I began to rub my chest.
“You’re feeling what am feeling!” He said and I frown in confusion. “The marriage rite connect our hearts together”
“So when am sad you’ll be sad….when am happy you’ll be happy?” I asked. And he drank from the little jar again.
“Yes….but not always” he said.
We were quiet again and he kept on drinking the liquid.
“W….what are you drinking?” I asked and he smirk…he wasn’t so bad after all.
“Want some?” He asked and I nodded with a smile.
I poured the substance into my mouth. I frown…it taste weird but sweet. I poured more of it into my mouth. I was going for a third shot but he stopped me.
“Hey…. enough… you’ll get drunk!” He said and collected the jar from me.
“No….i won’t…am on high alcohol tolerate” i said but suddenly my head began to spine…..
“See?, I told you” he said smiling. I laughed.
“You know…you’re not a bad person!” I said.
“You neither” he said drinking from the jar again…he was so se-xy.
“We can be friends….” I said
“No….I don’t want to!” He said and my shoulders drop.
The next morning. Kai opened his eyes. And saw a little figure lying on his body. Her head was on his chest and her little body was until of his.
The first thought that hit his head. ‘was she still alive?’ as he was about to move. She frown and hug-ged him down.
And the most unbelievable left her li-ps. “So warm!”.
Kai remembered they were both drink last night. They talked their selves to sleep.
She wasn’t a bad person…..
Not wanting to wake her up Kai carried her in his arms. She was so small and tin.
This scene Captured the eyes of every body. The rain has long stopped an the weather was bright. Kai walked into the palace with Nina in his hands.
Victoria saw this throu-ghthe pa-ssage window. She got so angry and jealous.
She’s going too far…..this Nina…
The queen saw this too and was happy…guess they were getting along well. She ran to inform the king.
“Your majesty….I wish you a blissful morning” she said smiling.
“My queen…you look happy today…” King Corbin said dismissing his guest.
“Yes…yes….I think the gods has blessed Kai with his bride….earlier I saw him carrying her in his arms…..”
“Hmm….am happy to hear that too but make sure she doesn’t find out about Victoria been his lover…I don’t want things to be awkward” he said and the queen nodded.
Kaleb watch Victoria. “Vic!” He called.
She seem shocked. “Your….your majesty!” She bowed at her husband.
Kaleb look down the window and saw Kai carrying Nina. “Why are you standing here all alone?” He asked.
“Nothing…..just happy to see Kai with his wife…they look good together” she lied.
“Stay out of there business Victoria….don’t make any mess” he warned like he knows his wife was up to no good.
“Don’t you trust me?” Victoria asked. She was already shaking.
“I never said that….” He said and walk close to her planting a soft ki-ss on her hair.
Kai place her on his bed. When he drew away from her she hug-ged her kneel and murmured. “Alex….”, That must be the name of her lover. His heart suddenly felt sour…..he gaze at her and frown. She was sad…..
Kai’s men arrange a bath for him. After taking a shower he went to his training ground.
I woke up feeling sour….my mouth still taste sweet due to the drink. I scan my environment and met I was in his room. I never remember how I got her.
“Your highness….I prepared your bath” a guard bowed at me.
“Okay…thank you!” I said and he looked shocked. “What’s your name?, I see you by the door of the room often”
“Am….amm….Han….your highness” he stammered
“Ok Mr Han can you help me get Moo…. please?” I said and he bowed.
“Y.y..yess your highness!” He said.
I went to show. When I got back Moo was glaring at me…………..

Why was he staring at me like that?….
“Moo?” I called.
“Greetings to the second princess…..”
“Cut it out….you can’t just greet me after your dagger glare” I said.
“How could you forget about me!” He yelled
“Moo….we saw each other yesterday didn’t we?” I asked.
“Yes….well…it seems like forever….okay…now can we….!” (A knock on the door)
“Greetings to the second princess!” It was Han
“Oh…good morning han!” I greeted and he cleared his throat. He looks uncomfortable.
“My princess…the crown princess wishes to see you” he said
“Oh Victoria….” I smiled thank God she’s here I was already tired talking to a monkey. “Tell her I’ll be there”
Kai was summoned by the king.
“Your majesty, your humble servant greets you…” He bowed to his father and grand father.
“Kai…” Kaleb called but Kai pretend he didn’t hear.
“My allies have sent signals that the Sybles are not in power…..we can attack them!” Kai said.
“We are not sure if these allies of yours are……”
Kaleb was saying but Kai cut him off “my men are ready and we can make a move tomorrow”
“Kai!” Kaleb yelled
“Kaleb!” Kai fired back.
Victoria and I walked down to the oak tree….which she told me was Kai’s favorite.
“I can see you and Kai are getting along well” she said. Her voice was not as clear and smooth.
“Well not that…..we just talked last night I can’t even remember….I was too drunk” i smiled.
“Well I was hoping that….that’s why I have something to tell you…..”.
I decorated the room with Lily flowers…..I hope Kai likes it.
“See the smile on your face” moo teased, “are you liking him now!”
“No…..never…..we are just trying to get along…”
“Why did you decorate the room with so much flower?” He asked, I couldn’t help but smile.
“Well…..it was Vic…….”
(The door barge opened..it was Kai)
He looks pissed.
“Hi… Kai… ” I said but his eyes moved everywhere looking round the room. “Oh….the flowers are beautiful right?” I asked and he gaze at me in annoyance. I felt my spine shiver. His step speed up to me. Fear swallowed me as he hold my neck and push me to the wall.
“K…Ky…Ai” i manage to call.
“How dare you pretend to be her…..you’re not even worth being her foot stool!!” He yelled and push me to the side. I landed ha-rd on the table.
Moo step up and block Kai.
“Your highness calm down!” He said. Kai walked to the flower and began to scatter the vessels on the floor.
“I don’t want to ever see your disgusting human face again……., You’ll never be her….never!!!” He yelled and walk out. I look outside and the bright morning sky has long turned dark, thunder rumbling. I felt so much hate in my heart for Kai….how could he treat me like this.
Eva ran into the room and help me up.
She was shocked as she saw the flowers.
“Why…..why are….lilies??” She was saying what only she could understand.
“Clean the room Eva…. Moo…tell Han to prepare a separate room for me…..” I stand up but fall back to the floor. My hands and legs were still shaking.
“My princess…”
“Am not a princess……i hate this…all this…” I yelled. “How could he!”
“Because it reminds of his lover….princess Victoria!!” She yelled but quickly covered her mouth.
“W……ww.w.what do you mean?” I asked. I look at Moo but he divert his gaze, so was Eva. “So you two knew she has been using me?”
“We promised the queen not to tell you…am sorry” Moo said.
“I was trying to keep you away from her but she keeps on coming” Eva said.
“She’s a wolf under sheep clothing….She’s using everyone…..” Eva added.
“I….i thought she was nice….she have been so nice to me and……” (My memory flash back…the way Kai was staring at Nina when I was with the physician, even at our marriage rite……) It’s crystal clear now. “Eva, Moo? I want you two to tell me everything you know!”
Memories of Victoria filled his head. She’d alway decorate his room with Lily flowers. She’d smile as him.
“Prince Kai……” Victoria showed up at of nowhere.
“Tori…..” Kai jumb into her hands and hug-ged her tight.
“Kai….stop!” She whine.
“I missed you so much Victoria….I miss you… please come back to me….we can elope together…just me and you….we can get out of here….. please Victoria….I know you love me…you still love me” Kai pleaded.
“What about Nina?” She asked
“She nothing to me….all I want is you!” Kai said.
“Vic!!” Kaleb voice sounded from behind. Victoria jumb off Kai’s embrace.
“K…Kaleb!” She stammered.
“Get away from her!!!” He yelled and throw a punch at Kai. “How dare you touch her….she’s not yours!!!” He yelled.
“Not mine??, She was mine until you stole her away from me!!!” Kai yelled.
“Enough both of you!!” Kings Corbin voice echoed.
“Your majesty!” Kaleb bowed but Kai disappeared.
I was in my new room. Moo and Eva have feed me with the information already.
“What are you going to do now my princess?” Eva asked.
“First of all Eva stop calling me princess and second of all….I’ll steak to Victoria…..I’ll act like a fool….but while she thinks she’s using me, I’ll be the one using her instead”.
“But my pri….I mean ni… Nina….she’s dangerous….I know her….she’s on magic….” She said.
“I’ve noticed that too….she’s on dark magic” Moo added.
“What’s that?” I asked.
I decided to pay a visit to queen Elsa.
She noticed my neck was bruised. She frown and her face fall.
“Nina…how much are you pa-ssing throu-ghin his hands… Does he always hurt you?” She asked.
“No Mom….it was all my fault….I was careless….”
“That gives him no right to do this?” She said.
“It’s fine……but I came to ask for something from you” i said
“Anything my dear!” She said and caress my cheeks with her soft hand.
“Can I borrow some money?” I asked pouted my li-ps
She laughed.
“Yes….of course but….you don’t have to ask me…your a princess of Vansham….you could’ve asked Eva….she knows what to do!”
Queen Elsa and I gist until night falls.
I returned to my room with a little box of golden coins.
“What are you going to do with this much money?” Moo asked…………….TBc
