“Lotus!, Lotus!” Martin called fearfully.
“Lotus!” Yolanda came rushing.
“What’s up?”
“She suddenly p@$$ed out” he replied.
“Then let’s contact the ambulance or ….
“No don’t take her to the hospital!” Anita said loudly but unfortunately no one could hear or see her.
“What happened to Lotus!” Constance rushed there with Rhythm.
“She p@$$ed out” Yolanda replied.
“P@$$ed out?, I can still hear her breathing sounds” Rhythm said, listening closely.
“That’s quite true, get a bottled water Yolanda” Constance said.
“No!, Not water!, She’s just sleeping please don’t get it!” Anita shouted in vain
When she saw Yolanda kept going, she placed a leg on the way and Yolanda bumped into it, she fell immediately.
“Ouch!” She winced, her knees hurt.
“Sorry it’s not my fault” Anita said.
“Yolanda are you fine?” Bluey asked, coming too.
He helped her get up.
“I stumbled on something I don’t know what” she replied, looking around.
“The water!” Rhythm shouted.
“Oh the water!” She replied and made to leave again but Anita made her fall again.
“What the Fu-ck!” She spat, hurting her second knee.
“Lotus!” Martin called when she opened her eyes.
“Who…are you?” She asked drowsily.
“Martin, are you ok?” He asked and her eyes wide-ned.
She spranged up from his arms and was surprised to see them all around.
She could still remember sleeping off.
“What happened?” She asked.
“You p@$$ed out” Constance said.
“Oh…I guess..”
“Are you ok?, Your temperature is abnormally low, it’s too cold” Martin said and tried to feel her temperature again but she shifted back.
“I’m fine, thanks guys, I must have stressed my voice so much during practice” she replied.
Bluey helped Yolanda up and and she started limping.
“Yolanda!” She rushed to her.
“I was rushing to get water to sprinkle on you but I fell twice, a spirit lives here I think” Yolanda said.
Lotus looked at Anita and Anita shrugged.
“I’m so sorry” Lotus said.
“It’s ok, I’ll be fine after treatment” Yolanda smiled.
Lunch is already over so they all went back into the studio for the last session.
It ended at 1pm and everyone came out exhausted.
“What should we eat?, Let’s eat something in a restaurant” Bluey suggested.
“You love restaurant foods I noticed” Yolanda said .
“Two devils live with me if not three” he replied.
“Devils?” Constance asked.
“Yeah, so eating in that house I hate it” he replied.
“His dad is the number one devil” Martin said.
“Chairman Kings?” Rhythm asked.
“Yes, and his stepsister is the second one” Martin replied.
“What’s her name again” Yolanda said.
“Lavender” Constance replied.
“And his stepmother Kiki is the third one” Martin said.
“Oh that’s bad, problem of extended family” Lotus said.
“So you know what extended family is?, I’m amazed” Martin teased and she made to hit him but he hid.
“I’m not completely dumb” she rolled eyes.
“So where should we go?, What should we eat?” Bluey asked.
“I know of a very good sushi place, let’s go have some sushi” Rhythm suggested.
They drove behind each other to the restaurant and ordered sufficient sushi then they began stuffing their faces with it.
“This is delicious!” Lotus said, eating fast as usual.
“You always have a great appetite, I’m jealous” Bluey said.
Anita is standing behind Lotus, lic-king her li-ps as Lotus ate.
“It’ll really be delicious” she said, lic-king her li-ps again.
Constance picked one from her meal and continued chatting with the guys.
Anita took it from her chopsticks and ate it.
“Lotus this is delicious!, I want it!” She whined.
Constance shoved empty chopsticks into her mouth.
“Wait… what..” she said shockingly.
“What?” Rhythm asked.
“I picked from my meal but couldn’t find it” Constance replied.
“Are you thinking about the exams already?, Stop thinking too much” Yolanda said.
“But I’m serious” Constance said but no one listened.
“Why don’t we tease Starr a little?” Bluey winked.
“No” Martin replied.
“I want to” Bluey replied and got his phone.
He video called Starr and when he picked, he gasped.
“You guys are having fun without me!”
“We’re at a sushi place, it’s so yummy!” Bluey said, eating temp-tingly.
“Hey Starr!” Constance waved her plate.
“This excludes you” Yolanda winked.
“You guys are…” Starr said.
“We’re having fun!, Come if you can” Rhythm said.
“You’re really missing a lot” Martin waved his chopsticks.
“Umm… you’re….you should come” Lotus said without realizing then bit her li-p afterwards.
“You obviously miss him!” Anita gushed from behind her.
“And you were right, he’s handsome!” She continued.
“Stop talking Anita, I can’t even think straight” Lotus said out
“Who’s Anita?” Martin asked as everyone stared at her.
Lotus tou-ched her hair, looking for a suitable way to get out of the shit hole she threw herself in.
“Anita… she’s..
“Tell them you just said a line from the drama you watched last night” Anita whispered.
“Oh it’s a line from the drama I watched yesterday” Lotus said.
“Oh, title?” Constance asked .
“Say The mermaid and the ghost” Anita whispered.
“You’re so dead when we get home Anita” Lotus thought.
“The mermaid and the ghost” she said.
“I’ve never heard of it but I bet it’s interesting for you to suddenly say a line from it” Yolanda said.
“I guess..” Lotus smiled.
“Ok let’s vote, if you know Starr will come, raise your hand” Bluey said.
Constance, Yolanda and Bluey himself raised their hands.
“He won’t come, raise your hand” Bluey said.
Martin and Rhythm raised their hands.
“Lotus” Bluey called.
“Oh me?, I…I… dunno” she replied.
“Just pick one” Bluey replied and instantly, the pomelo scent filled her nose.
“He’s here!” She said loudly.
Starr really entered immediately.
“Wow!, Is this some sort of magic?, You said he’s here and he came” Rhythm said.
“So I’m here!” Starr said loudly, sma-ck ing Bluey on the head
“Fu-ck you bro” Bluey laughed, ru-b-bing his head as he sat beside Rhythm.
“Ahjumma, a serving of sushi please!” He said.
“Coming!” The woman replied.
“You guys made my mouth water and I started feeling hungry immediately we ended the call, and you expect me not to come?” He said.
“je-rk” Martin smiled.
“Punk” Starr laughed.
“So how was the practice?”
“Mr Roger and Miss Stacy surely know how to wear one out, we spent two hours in the first session then an hour in the second one, it was so hectic but it yielded well” Constance said.
“Give me a tip of the birthday song” Starr said
“Not allowed” Rhythm rolled eyes as Starr’s order arrived.
He ate slowly.
“You’re the complete opposite of someone here when is comes to eating” Bluey said.
“Lotus Watergire?” Starr replied and Lotus’s heart raced.
Hearing him call her full name made her cheeks heat up .
“Hey you’re blus-hing” Yolanda noted and she quickly covered her cheeks.
Martin looked at her noticed her hair was stained with the meal.
It must have mistakenly dipped into the meal when she was eating.
“Childish girl, stay still” he said, getting his handkerchief.
He took the strand of hair and started wiping with his hanky.
Starr lost appetite immediately and dropped his chopsticks, watching them as he folded his arms.
“What?” Bluey asked beside him.
“What what?” Starr replied.
“What what what” Bluey replied and Starr hit him.
“Ouch!, Why am I always getting bullied by you rogue!” Bluey pouted.
“Be careful next time, don’t stain your gorgeous hair” Martin said after cleaning
“Thanks” Lotus smiled.
“Wow!, Enolla will be coming to the pa-rty on Tuesday” Constance said.
“Enolla Armstrong?, That smiling witch” Yolanda said.
“I see no reason why everyone hates her, she’s lovely and cute and…
“Only to you, she tops the list of the girls I hate, I’ve not met her before but the way people talk about her around me created my hatred for her” Bluey said.
“I just love her smile” Constance said, liking all the pictures Enolla just posted on her Instagram page.
She commented “CUTE YOU ROLE MODEL” on it.
“You’re following her too?, Gosh you follow everyone” Rhythm said.
“I love her, leave me” Constance winked.
“The fact that she’s the only heiress to Shine group makes her feel big, heard she’s proud” Martin said.
“Exactly my point!, I hate proud people!” Bluey said.
“Starr is the heir to DJS group yet he’s humble, Bluey is the heir to Kings group and he’s humble too, I see no reason why she should behave like an alpha” Yolanda said.
“She replied my comment!” Constance said.
“I bet you’ll cry soon” Rhythm said.
Constance opened the reply and gasped.
TWO MINUTES LATER**
“Stop crying Constance” Lotus said.
“How could she be so rude, she hurt me” Constance cried.

That was what Enolla replied with.
“I told you” Yolanda said.
“She’s worse, I can’t take this!” Constance cried and got her phone again.
She unfollow her immediately before dropping her phone again.
“I’m hurt!!” She cried.
Lotus and Starr’s eyes met and she managed to smile.
He looked away from her and she wondered why.
“Why did you allow that Martin guy to touch your hair, your soulmate is obviously jealous” Anita whispered behind her.
They left the place in the evening and each drove home.

THE KINGS MANSION, 6PM**
Bluey met the whole family in the dinning room when he got home, it’s unusual to see everyone in the dinning room at once because such gatherings ends with fights.
Maybe the man of the house has something to say over dinner again.
He made to walk to his room but as he was expecting, chairman Kings talked.
“Come here and sit” he said.
“I’ve eaten out with my friends” he replied and started walking again.
“Dad just ordered, it’s not a request” Lavender said.
She’s her stepsister from Kiki, his stepmother.
Bluey and Lavender are same age though.
“You’re not dad so shush” Bluey glared.
“Come here and sit!” Chairman Kings ordered.
Bluey gr-unted as he walked to the dinning room.
He sat beside Primrose.
Primrose is his se-nior sister from same mother.
Lorraine is their mum.
“Say whatever you have to say” he said
“Is that the right way to speak to your father!” Chairman Kings yelled.
Bluey made to reply with same tone but Lorraine held his hand un-der the table.
He looked at her and relented.
Everyone resumed eating except Bluey.
“Dad, what’s this all about?” Primrose asked.
“Bluey you nee-d to start taking business cl@$$es soon, you’re my only heir and you nee-d to learn how to manage Kings group” chairman Kings said.
“How many times will I say it that I’m not interested in the company?” Bluey replied.
“You don’t get to decide that, I do” chairman Kings replied.
“Did you make us come alive so you could live our lives for us?, Sister Primrose couldn’t even get married to the man he loves but you for-ced her into marrying the heir of Morris group” Bluey replied.
“Must you always talk back?, Huh?, br@t” Kiki finally spoke with a sneer.
“Hey stepmom, I wasn’t talking to you!” He replied hotly.
“Are you snapping at my mum like that?” Lavender stood.
“What?, Are you gonna beat me up?” Bluey said, standing too.
“Bluey stop” Lorraine said.
“No mum, they should know their place” Bluey replied.
“I’ll get you a teacher and you’ll start the home cl@$$es soon” chairman Kings said.
“And I’m not interested, Lavender can take over the companies, not me” he replied.
“Then should I withdraw you from your useless music school and se-nd you on an exile abroad?” Chairman Kings said.
“What!” Bluey said shockingly.
“Attend management cl@$$es after school everyday or go on an exile abroad” chairman Kings said and left the dinning.
“Bluey, you know he’s always like this” Primrose said.
“Bluey just do it ok?” Lorraine said.
“Not like he has a choice” Lavender laughed.
Bluey left the room, bumping his shoulder on Lavender’s, she almost fell ..
“Idiot!” She shot after him and went into her room too.
Kiki smiled slowly.
“I’ll speak to chairman myself, he should rather make my Lavender the heiress, not a useless heir like your son” she said.
“Did i just hear you say useless?” Primrose said, stepping forward.
“Of course, are your ears now defective?” Kiki laughed.
“You’re here cos of chairman’s money, so I won’t blame you, paupers tend to behave like fools when they see wealth, you’re a good example” Lorraine said and Primrose giggled before going in with her.
“Those witches” Kiki muttered in defeat.

Bluey started pacing around his room immediately he entered, thinking about what just happened.
His dad is a persistent monster when it comes to things like this, he’ll do everything to make anyone succu-mb.
“I don’t want to get exiled, I don’t want to leave my friends and if I agree to tutoring, I won’t have time to hang out with my friends after school anymore, gosh Bluey I’m dead!” He said loudly, jumping on his bed.
“Why was a born into a family of lions…. Fu-ck them!!!” He screamed again and Starr’s call made him stop.
He picked the call and screamed first.
“I didn’t sign up for this” Starr said.
“Guess what?”
“You’re getting married?, Contract marriage just like Primrose?” Starr replied.
“I’m starting management cl@$$es soon, dad insisted, I hate him!!” He shouted and Starr laughed.
“I knew it, chairman Kings is a fraud, what did he get you with?”
“My school, he threatened to make me stop and exile me” Bluey replied and Starr laughed again.
“It’s not funny”
“Sorry but embr@ce it, you should be thankful it wasn’t arranged marriage, imagine getting an arranged marriage with Enolla” Starr laughed.
“Stop ok?” Bluey replied.
“Ok just let the teacher come first, then we the three musketeers will hatch a plan to eliminate her” Starr said.
“That’s what I wanna hear” Bluey smiled.

LOTUS’S MANSION**
“When you haven’t discovered the pool, you don’t swim and you’re always fine, so how come you slept off just because you didn’t swim this morning” Anita said worriedly.
“I’m not sure, I’ll find out when the goddess appears again” Lotus replied.
“So…what are you gonna do now?, What if it keeps happening?”
“It won’t, believe me” she replied.
“How sure are you?”
Lotus started sniffing the air.
“You can smell him?” Anita asked.
She rushed out and saw a red limo, not far from the house.
As she walked closer and closer to the limo, his scent got stronger.
She got to it and opened the door, it’s indeed him.
Starr is in the car, sleeping soundly.
“Why is he here?, And why is he sleeping?” She wondered.
“I think I un-derstand what it means” Anita said.
“What?”
“You know your soulmate but you’re refusing to seal the bond, this might be the repercussion and it’s affecting both of you, look he’s sleeping, I think the car broke down here on his way home…fate made it break down in front of your house” Anita winked and Lotus looked at Starr again.
“I’m tired of fate, but where’s his driver” she wondered.
“He might be looking for means to leave here right now, he’ll be back anytime” Anita replied.
Lotus inhaled and entered the car, sitting beside him.
She slowly raised his head and held his face.
He opened his eyes slightly and smiled.
“Lotus…” He whispered.
“Can you see me?” She asked.
“No, I have night blindness but I feel it’s you” he replied and she smiled.
“He’s still sleeping, he must be thinking he’s in a dream right now” she said.
His eyes closed and she tou-ched his li-ps slightly.
She bit her own and closed her eyes.
She started leaning in but few inches to his li-ps, she opened her eyes and bent her head, aiming for his ne-ck.
She ki-ssed his ne-ck and he hu-gged her sleepily.
“Big sis, it’s his li-ps, not his ne-ck” Anita said.
“I can’t seal it without his conse-nt, I don’t want to take advantage” she replied and Starr hu-gged her ti-ghter.
“Are you…the girl in my…. dreams?” He asked.
Lotus ki-ssed his eyes before replying.
“Yes, it’s me”
