“You are?” Starr asked sleepily.
“Yes, my soulmate will surely dream about me, it’s one of the signs so I’m sure” she replied and he smiled.
“I’m glad it’s you” he said, chuckling slightly.
“Why?” She asked curiously.
“You’re beautiful, I love your hair, I love your voice, and…you look weird and naive but that only makes you cuter, I love everything about you, seriously I felt a strong spark when we met that rainy morning, when I saw you running away to avoid being tou-ched by the rain, I felt the nee-d to cover you which I did, and candidly…it was love at first sight” he said.
“You love me?” She asked, smiling more wi-dely.
“I sound crazy right?, I mean you haven’t even spent up to a week in school but…I’m just saying my mind, you make my heart flutter, it’s love right?, I’m sure” he said, pressing her body ha-rder on himself, it’s almost suffocating.
“You felt the sparks because you’re my soulmate, you loved me fast because we’re meant to be, and I feel the same way about you” she said, ru-b-bing his back.
She’s exhausting a lot of self control right now, if not so, she’d have given him a ha-rd ki-ss.
“Really?”.
“Yes”
“But you haven’t told me your real identity” he replied.
“The driver is coming!” Anita said and Lotus wanted to dise-ngage from him but he held ti-ght.
“Don’t go please” he whispered.
“Sleep ti-ght tonight ok?” she said, stylishly unwrapping his hands from herself.
She ki-ssed his chin and made him rest on the chair as his sleep went dee-per.
She left the car and quickly made herself invisible.
The driver came with another car actually.
He came down with Judy.
“You should have just called when the car broke down and I’d have brou-ght another car, how could you leave my son in the car!’ she said angrily.
“I tried calling ma’am, but it kept hanging and I had no choice but to leave him here and go home to get another car” he explained.
“Listen to yourself, DJS group has many enemies and the fact that he’s our heir makes it unsafe for him to just stay out alone in a silent road, what if he got abducted?, Huh!” She ranted.
“I’m sorry ma’am, it won’t happen again” the driver replied and Judy took sleeping Starr out of the car.
“And what did he eat?, Why is he sleeping abnormally like this?” She said after dropping him in the second car.
“I have no idea, he refused to wake up even after so much tapping” the driver replied.
“He’s acting weird these days too” she sighed, looking at him.
She sat beside him and ru-bbed his face fondly.
“Don’t get sick honey” she said and made him rest his head on her shoulder.
“Drive” she ordered the driver.
“What of the limo?” He asked.
“Just drive!” She yelled and he obeyed immediately.
He drove off and Lotus smiled.
“What did he tell you?” Anita asked curiously.
“Anita he loves me, he’s feeling the sparks too, he said I make his heart flutter” she replied and Anita smiled.
“I knew it!, You nee-d to see the way he was looking at Martin jealously when he tou-ched your hair earlier, and why did you think he came rushing to the sushi place?, Obviously because of you naive mermaid!” She said and Lotus smiled again as they walked to the house.
“But big sis, there’s something suspicious about how I placed my leg on the way for Yolanda the other time, I wasn’t expecting it to work but it did, I mean… I’m a ghost and…I shouldn’t be able to make contact with humans, they’re supposed to just p@$$ throu-ghme instead of a contact but I was able to make her fall twice” she said.
“Goddess Rivera” Lotus replied.
“She was there?” Anita asked surprisingly.
“I think so, after I woke up, I felt the excessively chilly air around, she was there, she helped you” Lotus replied.
“I wish I can meet her, why do I always fall asleep anytime she visits” Anita pouted.
“Her real form isn’t meant to be seen by humans” Lotus said as they entered the mansion.
“Oh I get it now, I’m hungry” Anita blinked, holding her stomach.
“You must be a foodie when you were still alive” Lotus smiled.
“You got me” Anita replied and they both laughed, entering the kitchen.

THE MCDONALD’S MANSION, NEXT MORNING**
Starr felt tired as he sat up on bed, holding his head.
He sighed and was about to get down from the bed when he remembered his dream last night, about Lotus.
“It felt so real…in my car….I told her I love her… jeez!, I must have been crazy” he said, ru-b-bing his eyes.
“But it’s true, she makes my heart race, it was really love at first sight” he said .
He remembered hearing her say she feels the same way, she loves him too!
And…she’s the girl in his dreams!
His eyes wide-ned and he stood from the bed.
“She is?, She really is?, Gosh!, I wish it wasn’t a dream!” He said.
“Wait…she ki-ssed…my chin…my eyes… and my…my ne-ck” he said and rushed to the mirror.
There’s an hic-key on his ne-ck, staring at him.
He gasped, looking closely at it.
“Is it real?, It wasn’t a dream?, No I’m sure it’s a dream…then why is there an hic-key on my ne-ck from the dream ki-ss?” He said, feeling like going crazy.
“Lotus what have you done to me?, Why won’t you just leave my head and….ahh!!” He Gr0-ned and fell on the bed.
Judy came in with a cu-p of coffee.
“Good morning honey!” She smiled and he looked up.
“Mum I think I’m now a psycho” he said.
“What are you talking about?” She replied, feeling his temperature after dropping the coffee.
“A girl is trying to make me lose my se-nses and…
“A girl?, The one in your dreams?” She interrupted.
“I don’t even know” he replied and she gave him the coffee.
“Drink it all” she said.
He drank from it but spit it immediately.
“It’s bitter!”
“I only added plum extract, it helps narcolepsy” she said.
“Plum what?, And I don’t have narcolepsy” he replied.
“Then why did you sleep abnormally last night” she raised a brow.
“I slept abnormally?, Even at that I’m not drinking this bitter coffee” he squinted.
“Then would you rather go to the hospital and take four shots of injection?” Judy said and Starr’s eyes wide-ned.
“I love coffee” he said and gulped it all at once.
“Good boy, get ready for your practice, I’m going on a date with my baby” she said and left the room.
Starr rushed into the bathroom to vomit the coffee.

A VVIP RESTAURANT**
Davis went in with Judy, hand in hand, they kept smiling at each other as they walked in.
After they sat on their reserved sp-ot, Davis snapped his fin-gers and a server brou-ght in a bouquet of flowers.
“Wow!” Judy smiled, taking it.
She inhaled the scent.
“I love it, gosh I love you baby!” She smiled, standing up.
She leaned to him and they ki-ssed lightly.
Another snap of his fin-gers, three servers came in with their lunch.
It was set on the table and Judy kept blus-hing.
A note was attached to the wine and she took it.

She finished reading it and blus-hed more.
“Baby this is…gosh I dunno what to say” she said.
“Happy nineteenth anniversary in advance, our nineteenth anniversary is next week, take this as a preamble” he replied.
“Aww!, I love you Davis” she smiled.
He stood and ki-ssed her de-eply.
“I love you Judy, only you, and I love our Starr so much too” he said.
“You’re the best man on Earth Davis, I promise to love you till death” she replied and he missed the back of her hand.
“Couples things” a voice made them look up
“Mr Luther!” Davis said cheerfully.
Judy started feeling uncomfortable immediately.
“Mr McDonald, it’s rare to see R0m-ntic men these days, I’m jealous” Mr Luther replied.
“Did you come with Martin’s mum?” Davis asked.
“No, I came for business” Mr Luther replied.
“Oh, ok then” David smiled .
“Mrs McDonald, you’re so lucky to have a man like him I must say” Mr Luther said.
“Oh… yeah” she replied awkwardly, avoiding his eyes.
“nee-d to go now” Mr Luther smiled and left.
“Are you ok?” Davis asked, noticing Judy’s awkwardness.
“Of course!, Let’s eat” she smiled.

NEXT DAY, MELODY MUSICAL HIGH**
“Enolla arrived in Korea yesterday” Ophelia said, admiring her pictures on Instagram.
“Really?, Is she attending the president’s son birthday pa-rty?” Lilac asked quickly.
“Of course!, Heard she’s good friends with his girlfriend” Ophelia replied.
“Why do you even like Enolla?” Floyd asked.
“Because our personalities match, don’t you get it?, People say she’s proud, same as me” Ophelia replied.
“But you aren’t even attending the pa-rty” Lilac replied and Ophelia pulled out an invitation card
“How did you do it!” Floyd and Lilac gasped and she smiled.
“My dad is rich than your dads and he’d surely have crazy connections, turns out Enolla’s dad is friends with him, he got it for me!, And I think I’m gonna get closer to her at the pa-rty, I’m not attending as a singer from this school, I’m attending as Ophelia Roosevelt, the great heiress to R group” Ophelia said proudly.
“I’m jealous!” Lilac said.
“Mee too” Floyd added.
“Tell your dads to work ha-rder so they’ll be as rich as my dad” Ophelia winked.
Gymnastics is in the timetable today so immediately after the first cl@$$, they all moved to the gymnastics hall after changing.
Girls to white singlets and thi-ghs, boys to white singlets and knickers.
“Starr!” Floyd swallowed nothing when he came in looking all Se-xy , he’s wearing a bandana and his body gorgeousness stood out among others.
Bluey looks more like a baby while Martin is not in.
“Wow!, My Starr” Ophelia smiled, walking to him.
Rhythm saw her move and walked fas-ter than her, she held Starr.
“Starr why don’t you show me how to do this” she said, pointing at a tool.
“Ophelia is coming” she whispered.
“Oh, sure” he replied, getting her plot.
He walked away with her and Ophelia stood in disappointment.
“You owe me one” Rhythm said when she finally let him go.
“I un-derstand” he winked and went back to Bluey.
“Where’s Martin?” Bluey asked.
“Have you forgotten that he hates gymnastics?” Starr replied, using fin-germ@$$ager on his fin-gers
He looked around but couldn’t find Lotus.
He dropped the m@$$ager.
“What?” Bluey asked.
“nee-d to talk to Lotus” he replied and left the gym hall.
“What was that?” Constance asked when Rhythm got to them.
“Don’t get the wrong idea, I only helped him” Rhythm replied and noticed Yolanda is staring at a pa-rticular direction.
She traced her eyes and saw it on Alec from the cellists depa-rtment.
“I said it!, You have a crush on Alec!” She said
“I’ve always known, the way you look at him is enough confirmation” Constance said.
“It’s just simple crush, not love” Yolanda replied moved away from them.
“Crush develops to love” Rhythm said.
“Don’t mind her” Constance replied.
“Why is Lotus not here yet?” Yolanda said.

Martin stood beside the rails in the hallway, staring down at the junior students who are out on recess .
Not like he hates gymnastics, he loves it a lot but what’ll happen if he takes off his shirt?
Everyone will see his scars and bruises, the wounds and marks on his body which he’s trying to conceal.
He decided to stay away from there, he has never visited the hall.
He was about to plug in his earpieces and start listening to songs when he sighted Lotus.
She’s changed already, on her way to the gym.
He smiled and blocked her.
“Martin!” She said cheerfully and for a second, he got swept off his feet with her charming smile.
“Hey, going to the gym?” He asked.
“Obviously, what about you?” She replied.
“I hate gymnastics” he lied
“Why?”
“I’ll tell you later” he replied
“Then I’ll see you later” she replied and made to go but he held her.
“Stay with me” he said and she blinked.
“Please” he added with pleading eyes.
She was about to respond when Starr came over.
“Lotus!” He called and she looked back at him.
“Starr”
“We nee-d to talk and it’s really important” he said, taking her second hand.
“I was talking to her” Martin said, holding her ti-ghter.
“Just few minutes Martin” Starr said.
“What are you gonna talk to her about?” Martin asked.
“Must you know that?” Starr replied, looking at him.
“I want to” Martin replied.
“It’s personal” Starr replied and made to take her but it was impossible.
Martin is still holding her.
“Martin I’m serious” he said.
“I’m serious too” Martin replied.
“Mr Roger!” Lotus said and they both looked back
She grabbed the opportunity and took her hands from them.
Before they could look at her again, she’s already running away.
Starr looked at Martin and Martin returned the stare.
“Why?” He asked.
“I should be asking that” Martin replied, not breaking the stare.
“Come on guys!” Bluey broke in, taking the two of them away.

NIGHT, LOTUS’S MANSION**
“Do you think Martin likes you too?” Anita asked as she helped Lotus dress up for the pa-rty.
“That’s nonse-nse, he can’t” Lotus replied.
“I’m smelling it, the way he looks at you is suspicious* Anita replied.
“Stop suspecting and help me with the makeup” Lotus replied.
“It’s the first time you’ll be wearing human makeup, gosh!, I’m afraid the president’s son will fall for you” Anita said, ru-b-bing powder for her.
“But are you sure you’re good at makeup?” Lotus asked.
“I wanted to become a makeup artist, I used to attend makeup tutorials” she replied and continued dolling her up.
They spent a lot of time on that then she helped her into her blue flowing gown.
Golden earrings and ne-cklace then heels.
Her hair was tied into a ponytail but it still fell on her wa-ist.
Anita ru-bbed black gel on her full edges then pink li-pstick.
“Wow!, You look mhua!” Anita blew her ki-sses.
Lotus checked the time and gasped
“This is exactly 10!, The pa-rty is starting now!, I’m late!”

pa-rtY HALL**
It’s obvious that it’s not a common pa-rty, the hall reflects riches and wealth.
Influential personalities are mingling around with co-cktails and smiles.
The president’s son himself (Tom Min) is not prese-nt yet.
“Try Lotus’s line again, I nee-d to use the restroom” Bluey said and left the girls.
He was on his way to the restroom when he bumped into someone.
“Im so…
“Enolla?” He said and she flashed him a beautiful smile, holding her long gown.
“Hey Bluey Kings” she bit her li-p, extending an hand.
“Nice to meet you” she smiled.
Bluey rolled eyes at her and entered the restroom.
She folded her hand in embarr@$$ment.
“Did he just…snub me?” She thought and Ophelia appeared.
“Enolla!”
“Ophelia right?, Dad told me a lot about you” Enolla smiled as they entered the hall together.

TWENTY MINUTES LATER**
“And now we shall welcome the prese-nce of the owner of this pa-rty, young master Tom and his girlfriend Kat” the MC said and everyone stood as the big door opened.
Tom walked in with Kat, arms linked.
“Oh my gosh!, He’s more handsome in real life!” Constance gushed.
Everyone clapped as he moved to the center.
“The students from Melody high, get ready please” the MC said.
“Why is Lotus not picking her phone” Martin said worriedly.
“Look!, Look she’s here!” Rhythm said and they all faced the big door.
Same door Tom and Kat walked in throu-gh.
Lotus stepped in looking extraordinarily beautiful.
Her blue gown dragged behind as she walked like a princess she is.
Everyone stared at her beauty speechlessly.
Tom was holding a gl@$$ of wine but it fell from him immediately he set eyes on her.
Lotus flaunted her hair, not aware of many eyes that’s on her.
“She’s not supposed to come in throu-ghthat door geez!” Yolanda said.
“How dare she” Kat said bitterly.
“I trust Kat” Ophelia smiled.
“Me too” Enolla replied.
Kay grabbed a gl@$$ of wine and walked fast to Lotus.
“Lowlife!” She spat and poured it but Martin was quick to cover her
The wine we-t his face instead.
