I watch Livy walk out of the bathroom with a short night go-wn, a little transparent and pink in colour, she sit down looking at the mirror while brushing her hair. Standing up I move behind her ” let me help ” brushing her hair, it feels so soft and thick at the same time
” Jake??”
” Mmmm”
” when are we leaving here ” I st©pped brushing as she turn and look at me, I know something is bothering her and she doesn’t want to say it ” I don’t Livy…why are you asking ” her gaze met mine, they is something in her mind
” is nothing, we should sleep ” I watch her move to the be-d, l@ydown and cover herself with the blanket, this is just our first day here and she wants to leave, is it because of Tracy behaviour
Laying down I wra-p my hands around her w@!st and pu-ll her closer to my b©dy, I feel her flin-ch before relaxing in my arms, myl-ips move to her ears ” don’t worry about little things Livy” I whisper and feel her shiver un-der my t©uçh ” like I said, am all yours ”

Stretching I yawn the moment I woke up, my gaze move to my left, Livy no where to be found. The noise downstairs gain my attention, sitting up I f0rç£ myself off the be-d, take my bath, brush my teeth put on some new clothes before heading downstairs
Everyb©dy seem busy with what their doing, Tracy cleaning the living room, her gaze met mine and she smile ” morning Jake ” i nod my head smiling back at her ” morning Tracy ” hearing my voice I could see how her face lit up ” where is my wife ” the smile disappeared from her face
” I don’t know, she said something about going outside for some air ” nodding I smile then head out but Livy is no where to be seen, where is she?? Someone pat my back before speaking ” looking for Livy??” I turn around and smile at Joe before nodding ” she is in the kitchen with my wife ”
I frown, Tracy told me she c@m£ out for some fresh air ” thank you, everyb©dy seem to be working ha-rd today what’s the event”
” my son arrival ” that’s makes s-en-se, after talking with Joe for some time I head back into the house straight to the kitchen, Livy stood next to Alice watching how she is cooking
I almost forgot that Livy don’t have any idea how to cook and since she lost her memory, it must be worst now ” oh Jake, can you help Tracy in the shop today ” smiling I nod and move my gaze back to Livy
I know she isn’t happy, she is also the jealous type. Who would have thought I will like someone that tried killing me ” sure thing ” I muttered before moving out of the house to the shop, Tracy seated here re-ading a r0m@nç£novel ” you’re here???”
” Alice said you nee-d company ” I sit down and she nod her head smiling ” I hope we can be friends Jake ” she straightforward her hand for a shake which I did ” of course Tracy, why not ” her face light up again
My gaze move to the cover of the novel ” the second wife ??” I muttered furrowing my brows and she only chuckle ” the book is interesting tho, he falls in love again and got married to someone else ”
” hmm” standing up I answered a buyer while Tracy say more about the book ” even tho it was ha-rd the second wife fought ha-rd and gain his attention ”
” that means she is a husband snatcher right?? ” smiling I hand over a piece of cloth to another lady, it do feels good to call Livy my wife. Come to think of it, I don’t know what kind of relationsh!pI have with her ” well to me, she is fighting for who she loves” turning around I bu-mp into Tracy, she miss her step but before she could fall my hands move to her w@!st pu-lling her up, extremely close to my b©dy
When did I become so fast, my face grow into frown as I stare down at her, her dark eyes not as pretty as Livy, her b©dy doesn’t fit well to mine like Livy’s b©dy does” thank you ” she muttered as I let her go, her face fill with smiles
” are you re-ading this book to learn how to win my heart Tracy ” I mumble, her gaze quic-kly met mine, she look like she she is thinking about what to say, lie or tell the truth
She p@rt herl-ips then said ” yes Jake” she move closer ” I don’t mind being your second wife ”
Livy
” oh my god, that is wonderful ” I muttered starring at the cake we made, it look so beautiful ” your son will love this ” Alice nod her head then look at me smiling
” can you go to the river close by to fetch some water ” nodding I pick up the bucket and head to the river which isn’t that far from where they lived, bending down I fill it up before turning around, people kept staring, are they looking at me or….. Missing a step I fell and the water fall off my head we-tting the person standing close to me
Looking up I stare at him, he looked shock ” am so sorry ” I muttered, I tried moving but I couldn’t, my legs hurt so much ” I wasn’t looking ”
” is alright” his brown eyes stare down at me ” do you live far ” I shook my head and what he did next surprise me, he lift me in his arms while I wra-p my hands around his n£¢k, only one thought fill my mind

Livy
” is that where you live? ” nodding my head the stranger look at me with surprise, he said nothing, just nod till we arrive at our destination ” Xavier??? Why are you in this condition ” Joe rush to this man side as he drop me down gently ” this lady here mistakenly pour some water and twisted her ankle in the process ”
” oh my god, Livy are you okay ” before Alice could move closer, Xavier lift me up once again ” I will take her inside, you guys didn’t say you have a guest papa ” Jake face turn to a full frown the moment his eyes land on us, dropping me on the couch Xavier push some strands behind my ear and smile ” am Xavier, Joe son ”
” Livy, nice to meet you ” I mumble ” still sorry about the water ” he shake his head ” I will just change clothes and come back down” watching him walk upstairs my eyes and hands move to my leg, it really hurt ” are you okay ” Jake knee down, holding my leg ” how did this happen, is that prick the cause ” for the first time something flash in those peaceful blue eyes, jealousy mix with anger ” how dare he t©uçh what’s mine ” I look around glad we are the only ounces in the living room
I won’t say am not happy he is jealous” that’s Joe son Jake, don’t say such things about him in his father house ” Jake furrow his brows ” he didn’t cause this, I fell on my own and he helped by carrying me here ”
” what were you doing in the hoods ” Jake gaze didn’t meet mine anymore, he stare at my leg and before I could answer, he move my bone back to its rightful position, I couldn’t help but scream and in the process sl@p his che-st ” that’s painful!!”
Jake eyes meet mine again, he isn’t smiling ” sorry, you nee-d rest. Come ” lifting me up, I wra-p my hands around his n£¢k, my gaze move to his face, I have never seen him so angry before, this is not just jealousy, something is wrong
” Jake ???”
” shhh” he drop me on the be-d, shutting me up in the process ” don’t you dare move from that sp©t Livy, you nee-d rest ”
” but….” He place his f!ngerson myl-ips then shake his head, I really want to enjoy the p@rty outside, I baked that cake and want to see the look on Jake face when he eat it. Nodding my head I watch him leave the room before my eyes close on its own
Blinking my eyes I frowned, I couldn’t move, I tried moving but I couldn’t, how did I get here, I was slee-ping upstairs a few seconds ago ” run Livy, don’t let him get to you!” Footsteps approaching from the kitchen to the living room with each step they took, I look around, Xavier and Tracy b©dy on the floor, blood everywhere
My heart beat increa-sed before I finally run, I couldn’t st©p, I want to live
He gr-ab hold of my hair pu-lling me back, turning around Jake stood there looking lost and bloodthirsty, before his hands could grip my throats ap@rt I woke up, sweats forming on my forehead
My gaze move to my left and Jake stood there, my heart literally jump out of my b©dy ” oh god ” I echo falling off the be-d and crawling to a wall ” how did….when…the p@rty ”
” I got bored of it Livy ” I watch him sit on the be-d ” are you scared of me??” Hurt flash throu-gh his eyes, the light blue eyes suddenly turning dark blue
” N…n…n..no” I stammer standing up then limping to the be-d, it still hurt a little ” why will I be ” Jake shake his head then stand up
” I don’t know Livy, you tell me ” I watch him un-bu-ttoned his shi-t ” I can’t get the image of that Xavier tou-ching you out of my head” Jake pu-ll the shi-t off his shoulder then face me ” it makes me want to kill him ”
Oh my god, what’s happening to Jake, he isn’t behaving like his normal self anymore, did someone posses him. Is my dream going to come to pas-s ” I think I nee-d some water ” walking out of the room I head to the kitchen, Xavier and Tracy talking to each other, probably trying to talk about when they miss each other throu-gh out his time in school, Tracy surprisingly excuse herself out of the kitchen, smiling in the process
” is your legs still hurting ??” Xavier asked moving close to me, his face fill with smiles while I gr-ab the jar of water, pouring it in a glas-s cu-p ” its fine, my husband took care of it ”
” you’re married??” He furrow his brows and I nod, gulping down the whole glas-s and going for another one ” I don’t see a ring tho ” Xavier muttered, I really didn’t think about that
” I lost it throu-gh out our journey ” my gaze move back to his, he didn’t avert his gaze, just watch me drinking the water, he swallow then li-ck hisl-ips gaining a cough out of myl-ips
His hands move to my back patting me gently ” are you okay ” nodding he rob my back now urging me to lean on him ” you are drinking too much water…let me help you ” before he could use the handkerchief to clean my cheek Jake caught his wrist in mid air
My gaze travel to Jake, his blue eyes turned even more dark then a smile broke in hisl-ips, an mischievous smile ” your hands happen to be placed in the wrong place…..Xavier ” Xavier hands quic-kly fall from my back, the look on his face was that of pain
” Jake??” I muttered the moment he step out of the kitchen dragging me with him ” when are we leaving here ” the fear of this kind people dieing isn’t what I want, we have to leave here to somewhere else
” what’s the hurry Livy ” his gaze met mine as he smile devilishly ” the fun is just beginning ”
